I bought a car on June 17 2021 from this place and how big of a headache it has been. I traded in my truck for a car and I’m still currently paying on my truck and also the car I got from them. They have been little to no help. The only person that was actually nice was Matt Bax. He would always keep me updated but he no longer works there now I have been texting the owner which he is very disrespectful and took me and my family into his so called quiet room just in case this got loud. I don’t know what to do because no one has called me back or reached out. Please stay away from this place.

Got my dream car with AutoSource this is my first time buying a used vehicle. If you come here you must watch who you deal with!!!! Thankfully I had Taeho and Rima they took care of me and continues to help my long after the deal is struck. As Im still waiting to see if they fulfill their promise to fully restore my Tessi to its fullest potential. The transition from a gas to electric car can be stressful Im Glad to have had one of the most calm and level minded people that helped me out. I had a ruff start but I am keeping my fingers cross 🤞 that this will end with a pleasant experience in the end. AGAIN make sure you only speak to either Taeho or Rima other may call you a liar and make you feel more uncertain about your purchase. Not all salesman are made the same, some got it, some dont but Taehos got it I know !! 😉

I have given them the benefit of the doubt for months now. Their customer service is poor. Our car was promised maintenance to get it running safely. It has taken them months to get back to us and I have tried to get a hold of them regularly. Theyre slow to respond and make you feel like youre inconveniencing them. The times I have sent the car in for maintenance, it has come back with broken parts and new scratches and when I asked them to fix the problems they caused, I was questioned and made to feel like I was making it up. Its been an anxiety inducing experience. Im still waiting to hear back from the head mechanic who I was told would call me right back, and that was almost 3 days ago. Im disappointed and feel like they dont care.

Arrived at autosource mine set for a lifted truck. Lee ran the numbers for me and did his absolute best to get me to drive off with the truck. Unfortunately due to financial reasons I was unable to afford it. Lee pointed me to a nicer newer Toyota and I was able to fulfill my dream of owning a truck. “Sold” my truck and motorcycle in may. Auto source has not paid me for my vehicles or my bank. I am still making payments on their truck in July. Saleswoman in charge of my account won’t answer or return my calls. They have basically stolen my vehicles and since I’m on the mainland they refuse to even talk to me. I am going to be forced to take legal action to get paid for my vehicles.Update: after another week of no returned calls or any contact whatsoever from auto source, I was forced to hire a lawyer to get my payment. Surprisingly my lawyer was able to get her calls returned immediately and got me paid. I had to pay for three months of interest payments and pay lawyer fees out of my pocket to get paid the original agreed upon amount but at least I finally got paid. The reason stated for my non payment was an “embarrassment” of an accounting department, no explanation for ignoring my constant messages and calls for over three months. Given the opportunity I would not do business with this company again and I recommend that everyone else go anywhere else.

We worked with Kyle Shimizu on purchasing two cars. The customer service we received during the purchase process was awesome. What took my review further was the after care. Even after we had purchased the vehicles Kyle has remained in communication with us through issues we encountered. It has been the best service I have received when purchasing a vehicle. Super chill process! Mr. Taeho immediately came to help us when he saw us looking at cars and gave us multiple options right off the bat. He was honest with the flaws and downsides of the other cars and stirred us in the right direction to cars in great shape. He didnt pressure us at all and even helped with the negotiation process. Even the finance and notary people were very friendly and professional. He even offered to repair all the small defects in the interior for free. Highly recommend!! :D

A truly ABISMAL place to buy a vehicle from. Staffs knowledge of cars is mediocre at best. The need off the customer is definitely not the first priority, its probably the last. Rima, the owner, will smile and go through the motions of what a polite human being should do. However, in reality he cares only of his wealth and is a shark-eyed sociopath; DO NOT TRUST HIM. If you want a reliable vehicle I strongly suggest avoiding this place at all costs.

Abysmal customer service. Multiple phone calls left unreturned. Unhelpful non-answers when confronted in person.I purchased a Tesla Model Y from Autosource in May 2021. Five months later they have not sent registration paperwork to the DMV. I was told that the DMV is backed up 2-3 months but after multiple calls with the DMV I learned that all new registrations are caught up through the month of August. Further, the DMV confirmed that no paperwork has been received from Autosource as of last week (Sept 24, 2021).Autosource also refuses to release ownership of the purchased Tesla within the Tesla app, claiming that we cant do that until its registered in your name. But of course they also arent helpful with getting the car registered in my name (see above). Telsas Service team confirmed that nothing is preventing Autosource from removing my vehicle from their account.Unfortunately, my next step is to hire an attorney. The bank is now threatening to increase my interest rate significantly without a title or lien certificate, so I will seek damages.On the other hand, my experience with Auto XChange on Kalakaua was wonderful. I highly recommend Auto XChange or just about any other dealer on the island.

Never again!!! The absolute worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Day 2 after I got the car home literally every light on the dashboard came on. I took it to the dealership and it end up costing me over $3500 in services. Autosource cut me a $600 refund check because I should have brought the car back to them and they would have fixed it cheaper. Really??? You should have serviced the vehicle prior to placing it on the lot. I’ve been back to this dealership at least 4 times since I bought the car for various reasons and every time I return there is someone new that is clueless assisting me. 5 months after buying the vehicle and I am still dealing with these people. As first stated NEVER AGAIN!!

If you would like to buy a vehicle with no guarantees of the quality of vehicle youre buying and be treated like youre crazy for expecting to purchase a vehicle with no issues from the largest dealership in Hawaii, then AUTOSOURCE is the place for you!This dealership is a nightmare. The post-sale customer service is absolutely abysmal and unacceptable.I purchased a vehicle from them and identified an oil leak. It took their service department two visits to identify the cause of the issue and they tried to charge me an additional $2500 to have the repairs completed. Dennis in the service department and Rima, the owner, are unresponsive and little to no help. Tae-ho, in sales, is probably the only one at the dealership worth their salt. After fighting with them for TWO MONTHS, the dealership finally just took the car back and is issuing a refund, minus $800 in taxes/fees. Ill be picking up my check and never coming back.Honest buyers, stay away from this place!

Bought my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder from here, after 2 weeks is when all the troubles started occuring. Paid AutoSource another $3500 to get it back up and running thinking it would be more reliable, but I was wrong. Would not recommend.

AUTOSOURCE is NOT a reputable car dealer. They make you an offer to purchase your vehicle and within hours they change the offer. In our situation, they knew we were leaving the island the next day so they changed the offer to take advantage of us. Robert Brantley served in the military but clearly has NO HONOR. DO NOT deal with this company or these people. I would have rated them ZERO stars but you can not post the review with less than 1 star.

If I could give this place no stars I would I found a truck here that I really like was one of my dream trucks as a kid we went in on a Saturday so not many banks was open I have no credit and my dad has bad credit but they said his credit would still be better then mine the truck was around 14000 we put down 4000 more then enough to put down. Kyle and Rima promised and we signed papers that my worst payment would be 337 a month with warranty and I was happy we leave next day the ac is leaking into passenger flooring I tell them about it they say to bring it in the day I come to bring it in check engine light comes on…. I turn car in 3 days later they tell me to come in after work they claim they fixed ac problem but was waiting for part for engine light but then they said they wanted to talk new finances then they start telling me I’m only approved for 7000 and I have to put 4000 more down so that would be a total of 8000 for a 14000 dollar truck that would only cost around 7-8 grand on Craigslist…. And my payment was gonna be more a month they straight took advantage of us…. I wouldn’t even send my worsts enemy to this place please just stay away from the building all this for a 2007 Chevy Silverado with 150xxx miles!!

I did pretty well with learning how to drive a manual, but I didnt feel confident enough in my ability to take care of it and couldnt commit to buying it. They covered all $1200 in repairs (control arm failure, not something that would be caught by any inspection).Super pleased with my experience here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a used car on Island. We had a really great experience with the people at Autosource, namely Kyle and Chris. We showed up 2 hours early for our appointment and Kyle (one of the lead mechanics) helped us is since none of the sales reps were available. Kyle was upfront with his opinion on the car we had originally eyed over concerns about a branded title, telling us that while the price was tempting we could have a hard time with financing and resale of the vehicle down the road. He instead helped us locate some other vehicles on the lot that were better suited for our financial and functional needs. After showing us a great deal on a Mini, he handed us over to our Sales Rep Chris Black, who was also fantastic. He helped us figure out our financing and was overall a pleasure to work with. He was also incredibly upfront about his opinions on cars on the lot. I appreciate how candid Kyle and Chris were in our car buying and we found a car that made us happier than I thought we would be because of it.

Recently Stationed in Honolulu, I was looking for a car quick and on a budget. I came in to see the salesman Chris Black. When I walked in I noticed that the majority of the cars on the lot were very high end Pricey. I thought that maybe I came to the wrong dealership since my budget was around $4,000. As soon as I Met with Chris though my fears were gone as I knew these were good people and Chris Walked me through all the cars they had available in my budget. I eventually landed on a 2000 Toyota Camry that they cleaned up and made sure was running good. All in all this high end car dealership spent around 6 hours working with a kid buying a 2000 Toyota Camry. Good people and great experience.

My parents purchased my first car for me here, while it did take a while to get everything ready, and had to wait a while to take it home, it is an older car so it’s understandable that they found issues with it as they went along. Plus, good things take time, they put brand new tires on it, and it looked amazing. So regardless of how much time it took to get everything situated, I would definitely suggest autosource after seeing how great their attention to detail is.

Autosource had a Unicorn find! Clean one owner under 20k mile 2012 Mercedes Benz GL I purchased. Mauricio Ramos was an excellent and friendly no pressure salesman. I had a brief negotiation with the friendly manager and we mutually agreed on a fair price. I picked up a bank check and they prepped the car and even provided me a full tank of gas! They said when I get my new registration they’re going to Safety the car for me as well! First class service all the way!

Was kind of skeptical as I always am walking into a used car dealership.I still scheduled an appointment on a Tuesday and got matched up with my salesman Tae Ho His welcoming attitude and customer service changed my mind right away.I came in looking to trade in my truck for a SUV with third row seats due to a growing family. He related to me right away and mentioned he did the same thing a couple years ago.Tae Ho never made me feel uncomfortable like some salesman do by over pressuring you. Told him I still have to get my wife on board. He offered to even drive the vehicle to my house to have her see it.Two days later (Thursday) after thinking about it I came by with my wife to have her see it. But I still had to weigh my options buying brand new and used.Even then Tae Ho said “no worries, go look and see what they’ll offer me for a brand new one”.Next day (Friday) I came back, took it for a spin again. I even dealt with the owner Rima, and came up with some numbers which worked great for me. That night I was going home with a new to me SUV!10/10 would buy from AutoSource again! Everyone I dealt with from Tae Ho, David(finance), Rima(Owner) was super friendly and professional. They make you feel welcomed and in the mood to buy a car.
