Be wary as they have deceptive sales tactics. I purchased a new mattress and they delivered the floor sample to me. I called and Kim claimed they sold me a new mattress. Then the manager claimed the delivery guys messed up and delivered the floor sample to me. I know it was the floor sample as this happened to me before and I marked the mattress label that I laid on at the store. This is in April 2021 with COVID.I just want to be told the truth about a product that I’m paying hard earned dollars for. After calling and asking for the manager and waiting on hold for 10 minutes. MJ textes my wife instead of calling her with an explanation. Very dishonest sales practice.

My wife and I purchased a Condo in Hilton Head in June. We needed all new furniture. Friends recommended Discount Furniture and Mattress Outlet in Hilton Head so we there first. We loved their selections but wanted to check out a few other stores to see if we were getting the best value for our money. Long story short, after five stores, we went BACK TO Discount Furniture. We are happy we did because M.J. the Owner, is first class all the way!!! She goes out of her way to make your experience pleasurable. We ordered two matching couches and one was in stock and the other would be in in two weeks. M.J. loaned us two matching couches until the other two came in. Great Experience all around! Highly Recommended.

We purchased two condos here on the island and needed to update them. After visiting other stores, we stopped here. I SO glad we did!! Staff has been always helpful, furniture is always quality, and they have a really nice selection. Plus, the prices...you just can’t beat it! If I could give 10 stars I would. Finding this place and MJ was such a blessing for us. The staff is friendly and helpful. We are first time owners of rental property and MJ shared all her knowledge and secrets from her 20+ years of doing flips and rentals. MJ came to our condo and spent at least an hour helping us decide the best colors, placement, and size of furniture. She is so friendly and easy and an amazing decorator. She spent another several more hours with us at her store going through catalogs to chose furniture, patterns and colors. We live in Ohio and so they delivered the furniture while we were out of town and we came back to it being totally set up and beautiful. We’ve gotten so many compliments on how beautifully decorated our condo is from renters reviews. When we purchased our second condo, we called and ordered furniture over the phone. They are going to deliver it and remove our old furniture. Such great customer service before and after purchase

Excellent service. We live out of state and two years ago we needed MBR furniture for our rental villa, I emailed HHDF, and MJ jumped in and started emailing us options based on our inspiration image, budget and size restrictions. We did very thing over the phone and online and we could not be happier with the end result.This past April, we walked in and showed Kim a few photos of sofas and chairs we liked for our living room and she directed us to the perfect catalogue, had me select my cushion and sleeper sofa mattress firmness from furniture samples on the shop floor and was super efficient at helping to fine tune what we wanted for durable fabrics. This was the fastest sofa shopping in my life and I am a former designer!They are terific communicators, well priced and efficient.

I have purchased many items in the past from Discount Furniture Warehouse of Hilton Head and found them to be a pleasure to deal with. I took their service for granted as I was always pleased with their courtesy, prices and the merchandise I received. However, the manufacturer of the most recent item I purchased did a very poor job that was far below my expectations as well as those of the people at Discount Furniture. It was an expensive piece of furniture and I was very upset. MJ and Kim assured me that they would handle the situation and in the end I would be very happy as indeed I was. They arranged for the piece to be remade and stood by me all the way. Many retailers are just fine to deal with but DFW is exceptional. Their primary goal is to make the customer happy in every way possible and I would suggest to anyone looking for furniture that this is the place to go.
