The delivery men were timely, personable and worked quickly and efficiently to set up our room to our specifications. Jennifer, who schedules deliveries, called promptly and graciously rescheduled our delivery, per our request, with no issues. Thanks to all!

I have been working with Furniture Direct for eight years and have always been extremely happy with their products and services. They were very easy to work with while furnishing my entire house,(including patio furniture) all within budget (which was not large) and on time.Their product knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail are excellent. In addition to furniture, I also purchased artwork, lamps, mattresses, bedding, rugs and window treatments at Furniture Direct HH. I was very pleased with the variety of things that they offer, including types of furniture and fabrics. I am not always easy to please and they exceeded my expectations. While I purchased most of my things at one time, I have continued to add pieces at least yearly through them. I should also add that the furniture and fabrics are very durable and have held up to many years of renters. I visited their showroom recently and can see that they continue to offer wonderful items that can please a variety of decorative tastes at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them. I have worked worked mostly with Dennis and Glen, but everyone there is very helpful.

Run, do not buy here. You will wait months only to receive damaged furniture. All they seem to care about is getting your money. They do not update you on the status of your order unless you call them. Owner obviously has no clue as to how his business is being run. Ended up buying elsewhere and got in a week, better quality and not damaged.Interesting to see your reply. Amazing how quickly you responded to a bad review, but yet you never responded to two emails that were forwarded to you by Glenn, who was our salesman. Before even posting this review, we allowed you almost a month and a half to respond. When no response was forthcoming, we posted the review.We understood that due to the worldwide pandemic there were issues with obtaining items and deliveries. We waited almost 5 months. We were okay with that. However, what we were not okay with was when the first dresser was delivered damaged, and Vaughn Basset and Furniture Direct didnt want to even address that, we waited another month for the replacement dresser. We were willing to accept the damaged first dresser for a concession of $300. No one wanted to let go of the almighty dollar. When the replacement dresser arrived at your premises, we were ASSURED by Glenn that the dresser was inspected upon receipt and prior to loading onto your truck to deliver it to us. When it arrived at our premises, there was an area of paint on the top that was not even painted, the backing was falling off and when the men took it out of the truck, a piece literally fell off. It was patently obvious it was NOT inspected prior to sending it out for delivery!! So, by all means, take your position of being right on top of everything. We will add that Glenn was always the professional and seemed to have his hands tied. All we will say is buyer beware.

Truly professional staff all the way around! Was able to completely customize my own sofa exactly to my specifications. With COVID going on, I was told there may be some delays with manufacturing due to plant shut downs, but the staff did a great job of keeping me in the loop. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the drivers were very professional installing the new piece and cleaning up. Would recommend for any of your needs!

The Whole Process was a dream!I initially came to Furniture Direct as I was looking for could be a one stop shop and needed to stay within a reasonable budget. I started out a little overwhelmed and not sure of exactly what I wanted for my living room space. Their design team was wonderful and helped guide and entice me until we ultimately came to a design I absolutely love! I NEVER could have gotten this look on my own. A recent visitor told me that it was like walking into a magazine! Budget was very important to me and the team was able to suggest high quality pieces at great prices for a look that looks far from cheap! I highly recommend Furniture Direct based on my experience and will be returning for all my future home design needs.

The entire process of furniture shopping at Furniture Direct was great. From the time we walked in the staff was very friendly and applied ZERO pressure. Glen helped us out and was very nice and helpful. Plus, he has some really funny stories.We decided to return a couple items because they didnt fit well in our small condo bedroom. The owner answered the phone was so nice to my wife and took the items back with no restock fees.We will never shop anywhere else!

My husband and I recently purchased a 3 bedroom home on Hilton Head Island. We needed to furnish it and wanted to shop locally. We were fortunate to find Furniture Direct. They have a large in-store inventory, but they can also order from any number of manufacturers. While we did some browsing in the store, the bulk of our purchasing took place from Massachusetts, through emails and phone calls with Glen. He was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to assist us in finding the perfect furniture for all of our rooms, right down to the mattresses. When a manufacturer didnt get around to sending me a fabric swatch for a sleeper sofa, Glen mailed me his sample from the store. Much of our furniture was ordered during the pandemic. Just as we were ready to take delivery of our furniture, the governor of South Carolina closed the furniture stores. Then, Dennis Dove, stepped in, explaining that he could deliver to empty houses. In our absence, the Furniture Direct team brought the furniture into our home. They set everything up exactly as we specified, and they left the house spotless. Dennis D assisted us with multiple orders. He was super organized, readily accessible and researched products for us. We purchased a bedroom suite, mattresses and living room furniture. When you walk in to Furniture Direct it’s different in that instead of a few staged scenarios of rooms, it is filled with furniture to show the customer how many different brands the company can order for the client. I found that their price was very competitive, and the service was excellent as I ordered both custom upholstered furniture and a ready made stocked bedroom set with mattresses. The furniture arrived quickly and the delivery staff was very professional. They actually had more delivery staff to make sure they deliver and set up your furniture quickly. I have been on the island for seven years and have found a new well organized business that I would recommend to all!

My wife and I purchased a chair from here recently. We were told itd take about 4 weeks to come in. Well, 5 weeks later I called (they never bothered to call me) and it seemed the job hadnt even been scheduled yet with the manufacturer. I finally got the chair 8 weeks after my initial order. So it would seem that after this store gets your money, they truly just forget about you and could care less about meeting their delivery promise. They have a nice selection of furniture in their store, but their customer service levels are pretty much non-existent.

I seem to always find exactly what I need at Furniture Direct. I want furniture that will last. I always find quality at a price I can afford with these wonderful people. One of the great things is if they dont have what you want on stock, they will order it. All around a good place to shop.

I was Immediately directed to an extensive, very well merchandised zone : AND FOUND IT!Pretty coverlets in shades of oyster and indigoVery soon after went back to get bedskirts: I put in a special order for them.Now the whole PROGRAM looks so greatAnd it was all very well priced: but so tastefulAnd well fabricated!

I was told my dresser would be available for pick up any time on a Monday. On Tuesday, I went to get it and it was not there. As previous reviews have said, there is no customer service. They did not do the right thing and since the error was theirs, offer to deliver the dresser. So, I went back and picked up the dresser on Wednesday. That is the last time I will go to this store.

The furniture is beautiful but very pricey for someone with average means.
