This place is so good! I was in the area for work and it was time for lunch. Saw this place in downtown Highland Park and decided to stop in. You can customize your own Poke bowl but I decided to go with their House Special bowl. Did not disappoint. It was so good! I also ordered a bubble tea and it was delicious as well. Service was good, food is fresh, and place is very clean. I stop in every time I’m in the area now.

Amazing price, amazing sauces, and amazing staff. All around delicious and affordable poke with all the toppings you could wish for. Very high quality and as a student I will be back very often.

Had a poke bowl with spicy salmon, tofu, and shrimp. Everything tasted very good and fresh. Pretty great for the price. Would definitely recommend this place and would come again!

It was my first time here and it was delicious! I got a bowl and their chicken appetizer. It was delicious! Only problem I had was they had to make more bubble for their bubble tea, which I was told would take a 1/2 hour... So I had to skip out on that.

The poke here is good! Plenty of options for toppings and sauces. They fill up the bowl well and its hard to mix sometimes without getting messy but I dont think thats a bad thing! Due to covid its takeout only but theres a few tables outside. They also have boba tea here and appetizers! If you order online from their website they usually have some coupon codes going on. Ive gotten my boba tea for free using the coupons 😊There is a small parking lot to the side of it and I never have issues finding a spot!

Love this poke bowl whole in wall restaurant in Highland Park. Parking is tight but it is worth looking for because good food will follow.Restaurant reminds me of the poke restaurants in Hawaii, non-intimidating with casual-chic decor. Even the menu just looks new. Besides the food they have bubble tea and ice tea drinks that are thirst quenching.If you like poke I highly recommend this restaurant

The food here is good, skip the bubble tea as there are much better places very close by. I do have to say, in my experience the freshness of the food can vary depending on the visit. That is my only complaint.

Okie Pokii Cafe is a good place for a quick drink/bite. I got the strawberry tea with boba, and original milk tea with boba. It was pretty good, and the store had little to no crowd. Straws and chopsticks were placed next to the window for easy access. I recommend to go eat here!

Got some easy street parking across from this cafe. The booths are very cute and the service is great. Lots of different bubble tea options and snacks from poke bowls to takoyaki. I had the grapefruit green tea which tastes good and you can even ask for less sugar. Would come back to try the food.

Very good food. Surprisingly not as expensive as other poké places.Parking could be an issue around there. You can try the lot right get by the Dunkin Donuts, or park somewhere on the street and walk down to the place.

I love this place. The food is so good I go for lunch all the times and I’ve never been disappointed. The price is good and they have a bunch of really good options. The bubble tea is really good too.

Food was great but no inside dinning

As a poke place, I would not suggest the price worth the amount given. The bowl is significantly smaller than a Chipotle bowl. I do appreciate the options available and the outside seating to compensate for the unavailability of indoor seating, though if there was indoor seating, it’d be nice cus of the layout of vines that make it feel like a picnic of sorts.

Food was delicious and price is great. They were fast and friendly. One of the best options around for a quick meal.

Great and quality food, nice and convenient, super solid restaurant until I found a WHOLE MOTH in there. When I went back to get a refund the cashier was unsurprised and told me that these things happen every now and then because they dont wash or check over the lettuce, because it comes prewashed from the store...I got my refund, but was at a loss for words. Just wow.

We love Okie Pokii, reasonably priced for good food, always fresh and quality. I recommend getting your bowl on lettuce instead of rice for a much more satisfying alternative to a traditional salad.

Wow! Just had the tuna poke bowl! AMAZING! So delicious!

Ive been here 5 times and the food is pretty good. Only issue is when I paid for extra bubbles but recieved less than the regular amount. Their response was they ran out and gave me whatever was left. When confronted they offered a refund but wouldnt it make sense to just not charge someone for something that wasnt provided? Silly mistake. Again food is good just make sure you get what you paid for!

Bad staff, hella attitude, not v coordinatated

The poke is good and reasonably priced... What would keep me from coming back here is the places is kind of slow and the bowl are too small. Its a problem when you cant mix your poke and every time you scoop some up some is falling out the bowl.

Okie Pokii makes sub-standard poke bowls with poor quality ingredients. Their bowls are scanty and underseasoned and they are sold at low prices. The fish doesn’t taste fresh at all and it makes me nervous. Tomatoes and olives should not be listed as options to go inside a poke bowl; it does not honor the cuisine at all.The rice is well cooked, but if you’re looking for a good poke bowl, head across the river to Poke Nagomi in New Brunswick.

*DO NOT EAT HERE*My friend got a poke bowl here and there was an entire MOTH at the bottom of the bowl. When my friend asked for a refund, the cashier was not surprised or apologetic. The cashier said it happens often because the Okie Pokii kitchen does not check or wash their “pre-washed” lettuce, and did not bother to notify the kitchen staff of what happened.This is disgusting and I will report this establishment for health code violations.DO NOT GO HERE!

My favorite spot in town for all my sushi cravings! Burritos are delicious and so are their Poke bowls. Food comes out really fast and the staff is super friendly. Tables and bathrooms are always clean. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely love this place. Their sushi bowls and pepper chicken are my absolute favorite and I would highly recommend any sushi lovers to go here. Also their milk tea choices is pretty great.

Delivery customer service is especially awesome. I placed an online order and I didnt check the address closely enough to see that it was on my home address in Highland Park instead of my work address in New Brunswick. When they called and I gave them the address I needed, they were over here SUPER fast and were fantastic about it.The food is always consistently good and fresh but the delivery is particularly great.

My daughter found this spot when we lived in Monroe. After making the long drive to get her boba drink, the rest was history. Then I started trying their Green teas w/ out the boba and fell in love. But it doesnt end there, why Id to try the fried chicken and my daughter the shrimp basket, after that they knew they had a customer for life...now we live about 20min further and as I said, customer 4life. In addition, the customer service of these young entrepreneurs are A+ excellent. Keep up the good work and see you real soon, like tomorrow 😊

This place has amazing dishes. i order from here at least 1-2 times a week for lunch, they are fast at delivery and everything is always fresh. i do have to say most of the time when i get my sushi burrito the fish is always at the bottom of the burrito and i wish they would spread the fish/ fold the burrito a bit better so it wouldnt do that. but all in all a great place to eat.

My friend brought me here a few months ago and I fell in love. Its located on the busy Raritan Ave but parking hasnt been an issue for me yet. The food is fresh and the portion is filling. I like how theyre pretty generous with the food too. Worth trying!

First Poke I ever tried and it was good! Like the choices of different ingredients and the bubble tea assortments were great. The fish was fresh, the veggies crisp, the burritos huge. Would love to see mango on the menu.

I love this place. The poke bowl and poke burrito are awesome and incredibly fresh. Ive been here on a few occasions and have tried multiple dishes (poke bowl, burrito, an appetizer, and a few different bubble teas) and everything was great.I have already introduced this place to four other people and they have all loved it. Oh, lastly, the atmosphere is also super cute and cozy and the owner is usually there and he is also very friendly and has made my experiences there very pleasant. I would and have recommended this place to everyone :)

The fish here is always fresh and good. Atmosphere is overall pretty nice, although seating can be a bit of a squeeze during busy hours. I usually get a three protein/fish bowl which costs $12 -- not the cheapest place but Ive never been unhappy with my food.

Been to Hawaii and had poke bowls there. This is quite literally the exact same experience transplanted into Central Jersey. The food is outstanding and the employees are very friendly. Think I found my new favorite spot.

Food is always amazing! Last time I ordered, there was an issue with the payment and I was accidentally double charged. The owner called and said they would cover my next order. Well, I forgot about that till well after I placed my next order. I called just to make sure the payment processed alright. When the delivery driver arrived he handed me cash to make up for the previous time! It was so thoughtful to remeber and jump through hoops to make it right without having me do any asking. Great food and great people!!!

Update:: My 2nd review sadly is not going to be about the food but the extra that was found. A MOTH !!! We found a dead moth in our sons order!!The Rutgers campus crowd loves it. We went with our one of them, very fresh and quality food. Large selection choices, some chicken appetizers too. I only wished some Tempura items could be included.

Quick easy tasty. I like the order sheet where you check if what you want and appreciate that you can have as many veggies as you like for free. Some places only do 2-3 toppings. Simple cute decor. A great addition to a great town.

Fav place to get poke! Everything is well prepared. Their bobba is really good too! The staff is nice. The place is clean and cute. Only bad thing is the parking, but that is if you aren’t familiar w/ the area. If there’s no space in the parking lot, you’ll have to find street parking. I’m fine with it, but others might find it difficult.

Food is great. Excellent service. A guy from UberEats stole my drink so after I contacted the restaurant they called Uber AND delivered the drink to me free of extra charge.

Its definitely not the best poke spot I have ever been to, but this county is in desperate need of poke and this place definitely fills the niche. The fact that they also serve bubble tea, which by the way is also not the best, just adds to its ability to satisfy 2 cravings at the same time.

The food was pretty garbage. The vegetables didnt look or taste fresh at all. And the restaurant looked dirty and disgusting. Go anywhere else.
