This cafe is so great! The staff is so friendly they always remember me, even though I’m only in town a few times a year! Drinks are delicious, must try the lavender latte. And the vibe great to relax and get some work done. 10/10

Great espresso, it was well balanced not to acidic or bitter. The cold brew latte was just a cold brew with milk in it, nothing to write home about. The internet is a bit slow but the environment is nice and pretty quiet. Id go back.

Awesome new, high-end coffee spot in downtown Highland Park, IL, just a block from the Metra station. Head and shoulders above your Starbucks/Peets/Caribou/Dunkin et. al. in terms of flavor and quality. Seriously the best tasting cup of coffee Ive had in years. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about the product and the store is clean and inviting. Up your coffee game and try a french press, chem ex, pour over, or cold brew style--pick your own beans as they grind them fresh and prepare the drink right in front of you. My new go-to spot for a killer cup of joe.

Quiet and serene. Not crowded. Nice atmosphere. The downside is that the food options are limited, so come for coffee and work, but go somewhere else for a meal.

I cannot speak for the quality of the coffee products here, but I DO NOT recommend the Citrus Sweet Tea.My expectation was that it would be something like a normal tea blended with lemonade, but this was not the case. Frankly, Im not convinced there was tea of any kind in my cup.The citrus in question consisted of lemon zest floating around at the bottom of my drink. Every sip I took sent another chewy piece of lemon peel through my straw. Is it really that high a bar to expect that I wont have to chew my drink?The rest of the drink, as far as I could tell, was just water. Water and the tiniest bit of sweetener, which I was told was honey. The end result was something just barely edible, and I should hope I never have the misfortune of having this misbegotten concoction find its way into my mouth again.The drink itself, I give one star. I give the establishment itself a bit more credit, since I could appreciate the atmosphere as well as the friendly politeness of the staff. However, my initial impression has soured me on the place, and I have my doubts Id be willing to give it a second chance.To those who do intend to go here, order anything other than the Citrus Sweet Tea.

I cant say enough how much Ive fallen in love with this place. The owners are an adorable couple that have designed and built all their furniture on their own! They even roast their own coffee! Its a great and convenient location, the coffee tastes great, they provide excellent customer service, and are very knowledgeable about their coffee. Its an awesome place to grab coffee, meet with friends, or study. Needless to say, I am a very impressed and happy customer!

Beautiful family owned shop. Nice to go to an independently owned store where you can meet the owners who put their heart and soul into the designing the shop, building the furniture and even hand painted the Coffee Belt artwork on the wall. The coffee was delicious and priced less than the chain competitor. Go try it out, welcome the new owners to the community; I think you will be back again and again.

Great coffee, relaxing atmosphere and cute vibe. I spent quite a bit of time here and that seemed to be the norm, some people were even treating it like their office space. They have plugs at most tables and seem to welcome people sticking around for a bit

Good coffee, friendly staff, beautiful cozy decor. Lots of browns & woodsy feels, everything that pulls you in to any good coffee shop. Not very vegetarian friendly for breakfast. All the sandwiches are pre-made, so while they have a sausage egg & cheese sandwich, they don’t have an egg & cheese sandwich. They do have bagels though.

I ordered Chai tea latte and it was the best Chai I ever had. Would recommend it.

Aside from the great coffee, the owners are the NICEST people. They knew me by name after my second time ever there. But what really makes this place stand out is their Nitro coffee. It’s unique and amazing. Nothing like an iced Nitro with half a pump of vanilla on a scorching July day.

Friendly staff, home roasted beans, polite, ample seating and much more quiet than the Renaissance Starbucks nearby. Ordered a Sumatra pourover. The barista made it with care and presented it quite nicely. If you have time to relax or work, definitely check this place out.

Great owners and great place. The owner Brian knows his coffee, tastes every batch he makes and stands by with the quality of his work. The barrista is very skilled with latte art so I would suggest this place as a good date place as well. My wife loved it. The cold brew I got was a Columbia blend, very smooth with the good ol Columbian bitterness. The lattes have a good balance and you can actually taste the espresso. Anyhow, a great place with young owners with a vision. I love this place!
