I have a question I have a Dell labtop I can’t get it to turn back on and when it does you have to keep it on the charger and had a virus I was wondering how much it would cost to fix it

I had a problem with a sloe start up procedure & some programs not opening and s external disk drive not working. A hard drive problem was the cause. It was replaced and no other problems were found. This was done in a timely manner and continual contact was maintained by their technical staff to me about the progress of the repair. I am VERY SATIFED with the repair. Trusted and professional computer repair service! Second time Ive use Data Forge and both times I got accurate diagnosis and accurate and reasonable estimates. Repairs were quick! They even updated my OS to Windows 10 from Windows 8 at no cost. Finding a trusted IT repair shop is hard; these guys are great!

I went with a list of questions for what I thought would be an hour and it turns out we spent two hours cleaning up my computer (hurry up and wait)and I left with my list of questions mostly unanswered. I was terribly disappointed in the results and in the $128.00 charge for just sitting and watching the man clean up my computer and then, in the end, have them tell me a needed a better computer.

Great people, very friendly, very professional and very skilled and knowledgeable. A couple times I had problems I feared were serious and when I took my computer in it was tested right away, found the problems were not serious and they had me back up and running in no time at all. I didnt have to leave my computer there, I was in and out fairly quickly and taking my computer home with me. What makes things even better is they have good prices on parts and their labor rate is very reasonable. If anyone I know or meet has computer problems or wants to upgrade their computer would never consider recommending anyone other that Dataforge.

This is the best place to go to get your electronics fixed. Before you take it home after they fix it, they would show you what they have done so you can let them know you are satisfied with their work. I wish they have a Dataforge in Alabama too.

Dataforge is a great place to have a computer worked on. Staples said it would be about 350 to correct software issue with my laptop. Dataforge did it for 85. Really Staples???

I dont know how long of a review can be written but I hope its long enough to say all that I want to say. I had an old obsolete computer that was dying. Im disabled and the amount I could spend on a computer was low. I looked online at several major online/chain computer vendors and found a number of them that fit my price range but they all had several things in common. They were all what could be called halfway to being obsolete. The CPUs were intel i5s, they came with small hard drives and minimal memory and their graphics were not up to current standards. And they also lacked something that is important to someone like me, that being the ability to expand and upgrade so a computer can last me longer. They lacked bays for more internal hard drives and enough slots on the motherboard for multiple things like a graphics card that would bring them up to current standards and to be able to add 5:1 or 7:1 surround sound.I had bought bare bones kits and the various other needed components in the past and assembled them so i thought Id go that route and I started watching for very good sale prices on components. I bought a SSD and two 2 TB Western Digital hard drives but when I looked at the different barebones kits and added up what I already spent and how much more Id have to spend the total was over my budget.DataForge has always been great to me so I thought Id go in and tell them what I had bought and ask what it would cost for them to get what else would be needed and assemble it. The quote I was given was well below the amount I could spend for a new computer.Unfortunately something came up and I needed to spend most of what I had saved on a repair and went back to saving. When I built back my funds I saw a really great sale for a 10th generation intel i7 CPU and also 16GB of DDR4 memory and bought them and then took everything I bought to DataForge and they assembled it and when done I brought in one hard drive I was going to reuse and they installed it.I did end up adding two more things I hadnt planned on getting. I was going to reuse my CD/DVD drive, but it started to seem to have problems so I asked for a new one plus a second that would play BluRays, and they were added,With the components I had purchased on sale and the rest that DataForge had to order and with labor for assembly and taxes the total came to just under the amount I could spend for a computer. But rather than a half obsolete computer I ended up with what an IT friend of mine called a very capable and impressive computer, and one that is expandable and up-gradable, and more so than I had imagined it could be. The motherboard DataForge used will not only let me upgrade to an 11th generation i9 if I wanted to but to an 11th generation CPU if I wanted to or needed to in the future.So I ended up with the perfect computer for me for slightly less than the same price as the already half obsolete computers I found at sale prices from several major online/chain computer vendors.I could not begin to thank than DataForge gang enough. They are great in every way! They bend over backwards to help you in any and every way possible, and unlike some places they do not reach as deep into your pocket as possible to try and pull out every single dollar and cent you have. They went so far as to give me an address to a website where I could order the case and other components they would have to order and be able to save the very small amount of markup they add to them. Since the total price was going to be within my small budget I didnt make use of it, but that is an example of how far they will go to earn your business and make you as happy about your purchase as possible.To all at DataForge, thank you very much. I could not be more pleased by the computer I ended up with or the extremely professional and excellent service I received.

Worthless these people should not be allowed to work on toasters.I brought my lap top to them and they turned it into a brick .I expected to have my wifi connection fixed and my computer returned to me just the way it was.They installed a new OS changed all my passwords to their store name.Their technician threatened me with a gun called me an idiot after making my lap top useless to me.I am suing them for this damage. My advice is to stay far away from these morons.This was a absolute zero experience and it cost me 85.00 .DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TOUCH ANYTHING YOU HAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DANGER !!!!!!!
