Decent medium-sized local grocery store. Pretty good bakery and meat section, plus they have a small selection of bulk items.

I have shopped there for thirty years. I loved the meats there and also the produce. I loved the staff and the way they went the extra mile. I frequently bought meals from the deli. Since the new ownership I go elsewhere to shop unless I just need to run in for something. The selection of meats is not good plus the meat does not look good. The produce is not what it used to be. Many of the shelves are bare. It is difficult to find what I need there. I hate to see this happening to Red Front.

I had a lady come through Staples last week. She is part of the company. Based on a conversation about Golden Skillet fried chicken and my wife and I wanting to go. We stopped in. We were very happy looking down the aisles. The butcher was very helpful. Found a box of cobbler fixings! Super excited to make this our shopping stop.

Its not only liked by me; its the first choice of the residents of the area. Its location, its customer friendly deals, service with a smile staff, staff & customer friendly managers takes care of the requirement of the customers, price structure, quality is emphasized with amiable price, cleanliness is the first priority, variety, weekly deals, fresh meat, chicken, beef, poultry, bakery products.bread butter & beer, wines, and what not. ! I visited the store just the other day and I had not been in there for quite a while. I like how the store adapts to customers tastes. A whole lot more natural and organic products are available. Good job!

What happened? New ownership? Used to love this place. Paying a little more isnt always a deal breaker, but paying a lot more and having rude service is! 5 star to a 1. You lost a customer. Used to have quality meats. Discolored questionable meat is what I have seen lately.

Went for their annual Holiday Cookie Walk. So many delicious choices on the tables. Was able to cross a number of names off my gift list and know the cookies will be enjoyed by all.

Only went there when passing thru. It feels like a Corner Market. Lots of goodies and friendly atmosphere.

Super nice staff, clean store, meats can look a bit old or even spoiled in the meat cases. Really have to pick your meats carefully. Produce often looks old and/or wrinkly because I guess people dont buy it fast enough. Still enjoy shopping there though. Just have to know what to buy and what to avoid.

My Family loves to shop at Red Front! The produce is always fresh, the fresh baked breads are awesome, the pick 5 meats deal is a great money saver and every year they have a case and can sale that allows my family to stock up on the things we love for a great price! Friendly staff and a local family run business that is always giving back to the community!

Have been shopping here for years i drive out from wv just to get my meats here the 5 for 19.99 is a great deal an the selection always great. .til now we drove out an there wasnt anything as for meats..and most of the shelves were empty redfront has become a very disappointing place . i dont know if its the new management or what

I love the store so much! they have good quality items, friendly staff, great prices!! I also love that they sale Hersheys Chocolate Marshmallow ice cream, because I cant find it anywhere besides Red Front!! Highly recommended!!

Great store and great people to work with. Always have the answers you need to help make your shopping experience a great one. Never have to wait in line but a couple seconds because they always have a lot of lines open and ready to check you out... LOVE SHOPPING AT RED FRONT!!!

Red Front is a terrific grocery store. The variety and quality of food they carry throughout the store is top notch - no better place in the Valley to buy meat or fresh produce! Another plus is their family friendly atmosphere and the Red Front staff are always available, helpful and very friendly. I believe that once you shop at Red Front, you will want to keep going back!

Good basic supplies plus. Bulk foods, better organic/GMO-free options than many groceries currently offer.

Ever since John Garber sold out to the highest bidder the store has been steadily devolving. No prduce and a lot of items out of stock. Most of the staff have left due to abusive attitude towarda employees. False advertising on hours of operation. I look for the doors to soon be shuttered. No longer the friendly nieghborhood store.

The staff here are very friendly a d the produce is very nice. I also like their other variety. Did you know they partnered with the elementary school next door and hosted field trips? My kid had a blast here.

Highly recommend Red Front Supermarket. The meats sold in the store are very high quality, they carry grocery items that I have trouble finding at any of the other store in the area, and they have an excellent selection of bulk food items (sesame sticks, graham cracker pretzels, interesting trail mixes, etc). The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Been shopping at Red Front for many years. I like it’s locally owned. The store is always clean, they have good sales and the employees are friendly. They even have a delivery service.Since, posting this first review. Red Front has been sold and the new owners are horrible running a business. They let all the old employees go for what ever reason. The shelves are bare with no selections in any departments. What a shame this grocery stores has been in our community for so many years to watch it be run into the ground. Personally won’t be going back there.

Awesome 10% student discount and cool free item Friday if you sign up for the email promotions! Kind cashiers and good selection.My only beef is that they dont carry a lot of off brand foods. Besides, IGA, there arent very many other cheap brands.

Home delivery is good they bring all my food rigth at my door Food is really fresh and delicious. delivery people are really excellent god-given people god bless them always on time and come even earlier than when I asked always bring the right food that I ordered never have any problems with them at all I encourage all of you to get home delivery from them we are very satisfied with them. A hometown store with historical importance to many long time residents. This is not a small Walmart so dont expect that type of selection or variety. It offers plenty anyway and has good local meat. Deli is great with fantastic chicken cooked daily. Order ahead of time especially fri-sun, and holidays to ensure your order is held for you. The store is has large blown up photos of important landmarks and pix of people from the past years. There is no alcohol sold here as is Christian owned and operated. Just no alcohol, wonderful friendly people and good service. Mr. Garber, manager will help you with anything. Busy in good way but never so crowded you cant get around.

Expensive for the quality and variety of product. The lighting in the store makes the place feel unsafe, and the general staff appear not to be aware/concerned about quality of shopping experience. Ive been here twice, I will not go again.

We love the pick 5 meats at Red Front for $20.00. I dont know of any other grocery store that has this offer. We also love that Red Front is locally-owned.

My very first visit to this store. LOVED it!!! Clean, friendly staff. I stopped a young man who I believe was on his break to ask about a item I could not locate. He even took the time to go to backroom to search for it. That right there is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Not so good! Wanted chipped beef sliced thin just so it wouldnt fall apart..the girl said she couldntdo that cause it was a new loaf. We got a pound of it....wish we hadnt. Very hard to chew that thick. Very disappointed !

It has a variety that you would expect in a supermarket, although some prices are a little bit higher than on other places, but for sure it is very helpful when you need something right there

This store has been a favorite of our family for years--the selections are good, prices reasonable. The store is clean and well lighted, with outstanding check-out service.

I bought fried chicken there yesterday and many other groceries. When I got home I found some of the chicken had been fried improperly, the skin was lifted up, the meat like leather and very greasy. I brought it back and they exchanged it with fresh chicken. I went home, again, opened it up and it had the exact same problem. So I go back to Red Front for the THIRD time and the old short lady in the deli area got angry with ME!!!! She said they would only replace the bad thigh and that was all I was getting.This being my third trip I was upset and just asked for my money back at this point, she said no they dont refund money at this store. Dont buy anything here, they wont stand behind it.Been spending a lot of money here over the years, also my family has. There is a Food Lion just up the street so I will never spend another penny at Red Front, period.

We come shopping here for our meats because they have a deal (with the meats with the sticker) where you can get five different types of meat (the range is pretty good) for only $20 and thats pretty sweet, I must say.

Redfront is always a good place to shop, especially now that they have changed their hours!!

This is the last independent grocery store in the area. For years the only one that delivered, and the only one that will employ people to help the elderly and disabled load their groceries.

They sell some local items. Excellent Meats. A little pricey on some things, but its a locally-owned supermarket.

Mom and pop kind of feel to it, its been a fave place to shop for years and I enjoy getting fresh meats from their butcher.

I have never seen prices this high at any other grocery store. I went in for Stouffers lasagna, it was $2 more for a box of lasagna there than it is at Food Lion! I can get burritos and chimichangas at Walmart or Food Lion, for less than half the price of what it is at Red Front, everything I priced in there was almost double the price anywhere else some of the things were close to Triple the price of the other stores in this area, it is a very friendly and clean store with automatic doors easy to get in and out for handicapped people like myself, its just that Im on a budget, and theres no way I can afford to pay double the price of merchandise for things their food is absolutely outrageous! Even simply things like soft drinks, double the price of everywhere else!!!!!

At first youd think its a beaten down grocery store with not a lot of items o. shelf, BUT it totally rivals big chains such as Giant and Walmart. If distance is your concern, dont worry about having to drive all the way downtown, just go here!
