Nice store I wish they would stop closing them

An epic collection of outdoor sporting goods. You dont have to hunt or fish to enjoy this place. Lots of great clothing choices. Lots of good restaurants next to this huge facility. They also gave a huge series of aquariums showcasing north American fish (off to the right and back into the store a bit, by the fishing gear).

We went in to look at appliances they have a pretty good selection . We were in the store looking at appliances opening and closing doors for approximately 20 minutes . The salesman never looked up from his desk even though he was 20 away from us to ask if we needed anything. I guess he was just too busy. We left and went to another store and bought a refrigerator. No wonder they have a sign on the door saying Yes Were Open.

Store is actually open and still doing business. Clothing areas were well stocked but tools and patio looked ready to go out of business. Sad to see this once great icon,on its way out...

Sears is still open in Colonial park as of this review, April, 2021. And they still have pretty much the same nice clothes, shoes and appliances. Their prices are reasonable and their clearance prices are great! Their staff are friendly and helpful and they take precautions to keep their customers safe by requiring masks and social distancing. And their store always seems clean. I do love their pjs and womens clothing at Sears!

Even though I had a bit of a tough time finding jeans my size (8), I will definitely return soon to this Harrisburg Sears store. A Sales Associate at the Lands End desk rather rudely directed me to the main register; this is ONLY for Lands End clothes . A saving grace was a Sales Associate at THAT register, who was very patient with my coupons and sale items. What a fun, and $$ -saving encounter with this lady! She was definitely paying close attention to excellent Customer Service guidelines! Looking forward to returning here. Sears employees are just the greatest and I want to mention Kmart too, they are always great there too.

Terrible what Sears head people did to a thriving company so they could enhance their income and give the shoppers less choices. Now I understand why Sears is the least trusted retailer in the USA

So sorry this location is closing down!!! I grew up with Sears. Every holiday was Sears shopping for clothing...I will miss it !!!

Great selection, but crossing forever November 14, 2021

This was the first time Ive been to Sears in years. I was pleasantly surprised to find this kayak, even though thats not why I stopped there. 🤭

I dont know how they stay open. This whole mall is hanging by a needle and thread... and Sears is at the absolute bottom. Still, there are many sales going on every day because, seriously, NO ONE IS EVER IN THE STORE AND THEYRE TRYING TO GIVE STUFF AWAY! What kind of marketing ISNT being done???

Sears is now closed at the Harrisburg East Mall Harrisburg West Mall and every other damn Mall thats such a shame

Excellent place to shop. Clothing, household items, tools. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

It shut down all its dressing rooms due to COVID and the inability to have enough staff on duty to maintain dressing rooms for all safety standards. The store was basically empty and the machine didnt work properly to check us out. So the experience overall wasnt to pleasant

If your looking for a deal for your kitchen, this is the place. They are now doing a front line worker discount of 10%. On top of the 5% for using your sears card. Ask for rose! She is the best! I saved over $2000!

This is an amazing store! Great employees and great prices!

There were hardly no customers in the store and I made eye contact with the gentleman working the appliance department several times. He just stood by his register and did nothing. Did not once approach me to see if I needed help. I was appalled. Sears is going down hill because of service as such. Came into the dept at 527 left the dept at 545. The whole time he did nothing to gain a sale. Found what I wanted, wrote down the product numbers and went home and ordered them online. The store lost a $1500 sale because of pure negligence on behalf of their stores appliance dept representative. Thats just sad. Sears used to be the bomb dot com.

The whole store looked worse than the day after a black Friday sale. There was hardly any merchandise on the shelves.

Sears is the best place for auto, appliances, great clothes and warranties, I always count on them when I am in need of those things. Love this store super great employees

Sears has seen better days. They cant keep up with the other large chains and online shopping. Prices seem ridiculous for the low inventory in store.

We bought a $3500 refrigerator that broke 2 months before the warranty ended. Sears refused to honor the warranty, and now were stuck with a broken refrigerator and no option to even replace it! Ill never shop here again!

Good prices. Low on stock. Slow on checkouts. Many price check scanners dont work. No help in tool department. Easy in and out with lots of parking.

The place is dead, almost nothing in stock and majority of displays are empty.

Well it was okay there was many places A salesperson could be but there wasnt any I had a walk over to shoe department to get someone to wait on me in the jewelry department. You definitely need more help. To get more help and get good help you need to pay good.

Years ago I liked Sears. Purchased vacuum cleans, washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves during my lifetime owning a house. I have not been back in a while. I even used to buy clothing there. They used to have a good brand. Sad they are going bankrupt. They had good prices. Great caring salesmen and women. Craftsman tools for life?

So I bought a comforter set from Sears the other day and noticed someone took a pen and colored on the fabric were the color was missing from! This was brand new and never opened! Makes you wonder on the quality of the stuff there getting!

Sad, wanted to cry. Where did all the GYM equipment go? So I guess between the financial hard times and covid sears just isnt what it used to be. I went in with intentions to buy a home gym and they had 3 pieces of junk they were trying to sell off, i was told sears no longer was selling fitness equipment. I could have cried. Ive used sears for the last 15 years to outfit ecru house Ive bought with home gyms. What a total let down. A sad day...

Needed warranty replacement for craftsman tools, they had 2 out of 6 tools and refunded my money on others, wont buy craftsman any time in the future.

Went in to buy a vacuum cleaner. Found a Kenmore Elite cleaner and was able to purchase it with an approved application for a Sears credit card. I will receive a $20 credit on my first statement. I was pleased.

Good, but not what it use to be. Of course we had heard Sears has being downsizing. Used to be the store to go and find neat and quality stuff.

I dont know how this location stays open. I never see anyone shopping in here, and even employees are hard to come by. Despite their lack of foot traffic, they somehow never have anything in sizes other than large or x-large for women. Feels like a ghost town

First thing I noticed after its derilect appearance was a dirty, tattered American flag hanging from one corner on top of the building. So much for Sears long, proud history as a leading American retailer. Ive shopped there for 60+ years, but if they cant be bothered to maintain their store and respect our flag, I cant be bothered to shop there anymore.

Well yesterday wasnt a good day for me as i woke up to a dead battery in my car so i went to sears to get a new battery 170.00 as i was waiting they came and told me id have to replace my alternator so i went and had it checked out by 2 different garages and both of those garages told me my alternator is working fine, so my question is how does sears sleep at night trying to take advantage of a disabled person who is on a fixed income? the only reason i gave them 1 star is cause i wanted this review shown, ill never shop at sears ever again and will tell people to think twice about shopping there, apparently they lie and take advantage of people

Always liked Sears, but the store looks nearly deserted. Feel bad for the employees as who knows how long theyll have the job. Craftsman tools and Kenmore appliances have been what I like most and their dress shoes are pretty good. Fortunately Ive gotten employees to help me when Ive been there, hope they keep the store and revitalize it.

Awesome i got two pairs of jeans for: 8.09 a pair!!! And a brand new winter coat for: 25.00!!!!!

Went in looking to buy a bed and new adjustable bed base. No workers to be found anywhere except the register joking around. All the beds were unplugged and the remotes missing. On my way to the next closest store that is roughly 40 minutes away in current traffic hopefully I have better luck there

1 star is solely for their automated phone service. I order online, get an e-mail with a phone number saying todays the pickup date. I call that number to confirm, and get absolutely nowhere with the robot lady. If you say mens apparel it says it cant connect you to that department, and rather than directing it to somebody who can, it tells you to call back another time and hangs up on you. If you hit 0 enough times with most automated systems itll direct you to an operator. Nope. It just hangs up on you again. I just wanted somebody, anybody, who could confirm my order arrived. What a joke.

Tons of variety and okay prices

Went in to buy one thing. The whole store looks trashed. One register open with 10 ppl in line for an entire department store. This place makes Walmart look like a shoppers paradise...

What a shame for this store. Empty of customers. They were once top dog in the retail food chain with good quality merchandise and customer service. Now they are dying a slow death. They need a shot of new life and better marketing. Please dont let this American icon fade away.

While other Sears stores are closed, an employee of this store told me it would remain open because Sears owns the location. Leased properties are being closed. I hope this is true. I like to have a physical Lands End store to visit. This store still seens to have a full clothing and tools section, but other product areas are bare.The employees are friendly and helpful, but their enthusiasm is waning. Parking is easy and near entrances on three sides of the building. Restroom is clean.

A little pricey and picked over...but clothing purchased is durable and will last. I dont know..its not the same ambiance like when I was growing up. I want to give it four stars because of the quality of the clothing, but really the store in general feels like it is on its last legs.

Prices are to high as compared to other stores with the same products. Particularly on the larger items.

Pretty good selection. The cashier next to us was rather snippy with some customers. And the cashier we were dealing with didnt seem to understand how Android pay works. Pretty sad in what is 2018 in a few hours.

The service was good, albeit not many folks working. It will be sad to see Sears go. I will miss the Craftsman tools.

Im really pulling for this location, I really am. This store appears to be trying to reinvent itself by changing the layout of the store and trying to bring in more merchandise. However, one MAJOR problem Ive had each time is, finding associates to ring out my purchase. I have on numerous occasions just put my merchandise down and walked away after walking the entire store looking for an open register. Please work on this! Additionally it would be nice to see a larger selection of young mens clothing other than South Pole. Also, perhaps expand your fitness equipment to include e-bikes. Your website carries them, I think this would really make your stores selection stand out from among your competition in the area.

Love the shopping and sales. But they have no restrooms, due to old age plumbing, that is horrible. You have to go to opposite end of mall to go to restrooms at food court

As a former regular customer of sears, a combination of mismanagement, steadily declining quality of product, and failure to adapt to a changing customer, has left this place a depressing and expensive place to shop. I only saw one person actually working a register on a Saturday night leading up to Christmas. I get the feeling thats all they can afford, and its very sad. The End is near for this formerly great store.

I love sears and Kmart, way better than walmart. Never any lines not many screaming kids, nicer workers, better quality merchandise, and lots of good sales.
