A lot of options on the lot. Loved the map concept and the ability to view at our own pace. I was very pleasantly surprised on the beautiful homes on the lot and will return when we are ready to make our final decision.

This is not a great place to do business. I had found a house at Lane Thomas in Hammond, La after looking for 8 months. After I signed a purchase agreement, got approved by a mortgage company for the house and had my $65,000 down payment I was told that my house was sold to someone else. They told me that it is company policy that until the contract is signed they are able to sale the house from underneath you. Obviously they are more worried about making the money instead of positive feedback from a very satisfied customer like a great place of business would be. Please before you decide to purchase from that place ask about all the policies that they have.

Please dont waste your time or hard earn money with this company. We bought a home almost 2 months ago. We have some MAJOR issues that they will not even return my call about. We have doors that wont even shut, shelves in the closets that you cant put things on because they are coming out the wall, our air conditioning doesnt work on half the trailer so my kids sleep on the cough at night because their rooms are too hot to sleep in. but our biggest problem is that we have mold, yes MOLD. The kids bathroom ceiling is leaking and I know that it is in the wall also because the window stays wet. I have called over,and, over, and over again. They tell me its a manufacturer issue so I call them over and over and over and over and NOBODY has yet to return my phone call. My son is HIGHLY allergic to mold. I have the test results from the specialist to prove it. We are paying for a house and we cant even use half of it. I WILL BE GETTING AN ATTORNEY NEXT WEEK. Again, please dont waste your time and hard earn money with this company. Once they deliver your home, they want nothing else to do with you. I will not make a note phone call to them or the manufacturer. My next call will be to an attorney..

Lane Thomas Housing is one big scam. I went to their lot hoping to purchase a used mobile home. They ran my credit report and told me that they would contact me with an answer. After several follow up calls, left messages and calls that were not returned, I finally talked to a human. Mr. Melvin informed me that my application was denied but **** would like to speak with me about financing options. I assumed that **** was a credit manager or the like. However my phone rang and it was a credit repair service, Rock Credit, who I was referred to by Lane Thomas. He promised to remove items from my credit and increase my score in a matter of months. All of this could be done for a fee of course. I asked for written information about the company and the caller questioned my reasoning for wanting something in writing. What do you need in writing, Ive explained exactly what we can do for you. Well, I did not just fall from the turnip truck and I will not fall for a scam such as this. They proceeded to call everyday for the next two weeks. Even if I have perfect credit, I will NOT do business with Lane Thomas Housing. By the way, I went to two other places the next week and was approved for the very same style and model home. CROOKS!

Great selection of mobile homes at good prices, the employees were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful also didnt push for a sale!

I have purchased a new home from LANE Thomas and it has been the worst experience I have ever had. Issues corrected after the sale is a night mare. Johnny my sales person who assures me after the sale he would be available and like he cant help me. The owner never calls me back and I have been waiting for about a year now. Shush I would have bought somewhere else

What did I like about this business? Absolutely nothing. I dont usually write reviews, especially not bad reviews; but this place deserves it. It was chaos trying to get our home, and a year later its still chaos with them. Not only did they mess up things on our mobile home while moving it; they took MONTHS to come fix the things they broke. It took hundreds of phone calls and a threat to sue them to get them to come and fix our front and back door that they messed up. Then we had to call many more times to get them to come fix the things on the inside that were messed up. They also did not level our mobile home correctly. Lane Thomas was supposed to come out and relevel our mobile home after a year, and we are having to pay someone else to come and do it because they refuse to return phone calls or talk to us when we go up there. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE.

Yes the service is not the best in the world but that is because they sell so many trailers. But i have the perfect trailer, with the perfect price, with the not so perfect credit score. Yes you gave to stay on top of them to get thing done and harass them, but you get what you pay for. I am not complaining because i know my trailer could have cost $20,000-$30,0000 more if i went through anybody else.

I thought we were gonna be able to get what we wanted but it boiled down to something they chose for us

This is nothing I would do on a normal bases, but by the tremendous flooding happening in LA I have to inform ALL of you to STAY AWAY from Lane Thomas Housing/ True Homes!!!!!!! Please for the life of you DO NOT purchase anything from these 2 lots. True Homes in Walker La is owned by Lane Thomas. We purchased a new mobile home that was to be delivered within 5 to 6 weeks (per Bret the manager/ operator of True Homes). Well it took 13 weeks, once they have your down payment count on NEVER hearing from them again. Good luck with trying to contact them via phone/ e-mail. Every time you call Lane Thomas (Bret with True Homes wants nothing to do with you after down payment is made and home is on your land, you now deal with Lane Thomas) you receive a voice mail for EVERY department, except for the sales department (how ironic). Even the receptionist has a voice mail. Have you ever dealt with a retail business that even the receptionist had a voice mail, I have never!!!!!! Service, if your home needs any type of service for ANY reason, you will not receive it from Lane nor True Homes. Luckily I put up so much hell that I received service from the actual factory who built the home in Bonham Tx. Yes, the factory sent a crew to my home and completed ALL issues we had because I e-mailed the factory service manager, my mortgage company to stop payment and Lane himself requesting the home be moved from my land and they would hear from my attorney. People of Louisiana, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from these 2 businesses. I know that there is extreme devastation in Louisiana do to the flooding believe me stay away from these guys, you dont need any more frustration added to what you guys are already dealing with. I promise these businesses will put you in the hospital or cause major heart and pressure problems. No matter how cheap they may be from other mobile home dealers, they are not Christians!!!!!!! If I could stand outside of these places and be sure they never sell another mobile home, I WOULD!!!!!!

Do not waste your time with these fake christians.. All talk and no work to back their mouths up .. I’m still depressed after dealing with them a year later.. DO NOT waste Your money on these crooked people . I got my screens for my windows a year later .. Nighmare still trying to wake up

My so called salesman (Johnny) was trash. I wish theyd offer me his job, because he was all around a bad salesman. I constantly had to call him for a week he not once made contact with me on his own. I texted him and he sent a longgggg message back instead of calling me like a professional person would. I would never refer anyone to do business here.

I have been calling for over 4 months now trying to get the repairs done on my brand new mobile home. Ive been told in almost every conversation that I would be given a call back to resolve the issue, and have yet to receive a SINGLE phone call from lane Thomas l. Johnny is a snake along with most everyone else Ive dealt with at Lane Thomas. These people will literally lie to your face. Bold face lie. Id give 0 stars if I could. I didnt expect much service after the same, but I did at least expect them to fix the initial issues that were written in the punch list as promised. What a peice of junk company run by a peice of junk person.

Would NEVER buy another home from here. Salesman called daily until he got my cashier check, then could NOT get any one on the phone. Delivered a different home than promised. Home had numerous ceiling cracks, big dent in back door which wasnt square with door frame. Been several months, still DONT have door replaced, and no one will return my calls. At wits end, may need to seek legal action!!!

Our customer service was great up until we actually closed on our home. We have been trying to get extra moldings and doors and other things for months now, but cannot get anyone to answer the phone or return our calls.

This place is a joke! Once they receive your down payment its almost impossible to get anyone to talk to you! When you do finely do they tell you what you want to hear and thats that. do your self a favor and stay away from this place. I wish I had.

1st of all Lane Thomas Housing & Lane Thomas himself are liars & cheaters!! I purchased a New Mobile Home in September of 2010, I paid 28000.00 down on almost a $40,000.00 home thats fine. I paid my home off several months ahead of my contract which was August 2012. I called for my title with no response, over & over again, Weve left numerous messages for MY TITLE FOR A HOME WE PAID IN FULL FOR, NO RESPONSE!!! WE HAVE WENT TO THAT OFFICE NUMEROUS TIMES, FOR MY TITLE, always always a lie, lie, lie, NOBODY THERE DID ANYTHING!!! WEVE have called too many times to count & went to the office too many times to count, Myself, My Daughter -n-law, who work for a Well known Group of Attorneys, drove there again to Lane Thomas Housing with several documents to sign Mr. LANE THOMAS, HIMSELF WAS THERE, the second time I had seen him 1st was when I was continually receiving calls to come & bring That $28000.00 DOWN PAYMENT so they could get my home delivered ect. He was oh so kind when it came time for Our money, he even walked across the street to @ the time was Hancock Bank for me to cash my cashiers check. NEVER SEEN HIM AGAIN, TIL this day we show up unexpectedly with documents to sign that had already been signed PAID IN FULL His Words was YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR TIL IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS The receptionist also said the same & said you will Probably receive it sooner OK forget NEVER EVER COMING TAKING CARE OF MY PUNCH LIST WITH MY NEW HOME!! These people lie the guy a the mobile home place ran my credit with out me knowing about it, told my wife that it won’t show on the credit report that was a lie told her the mobile home she wanted had a different name on it and said they were changing the name on other mobile home place ever heard of this

One female sales girl was very rude. We was speaking with a gentleman but he had left while we was still looking. Then we had to deal with rude girl.
