Kena is The Best Cashier There I Love her Spirit and Great Customer Service She Is The Only Reason That I come there to Shop Because The Other Employees Are Rude and One Employee Stays On Her Phone too Much and Always Have an Attitude I dont know her Name but She Is Horrible But Kena Is the Star Employer She needs an employee of the Month Award🥰🥰

Horrible place to shop....they have things in the wrong spot under wrong prices...they do not have good customer service....

Manager and cashier working evenings on March 17th, was patience and helpful at Stateline Hammond location.

Place is improving! Getting stocked, cleaner. Finally had couch slip covers. Im happy.

Very nice people, some of the items that they say were stocked actually were not but the customer service is excellent so I forgive them for the understocked items.

Need more cashiers to check people out. Everytime I go Im waiting at minimum 10 minutes to check out. Theres always more employees that are standing around, on their cell phones or talking to each other while watching their single co-worker cash out the line . At least this location gives you more than 15 dollars cash back though and theyve usually got some decent sales going on . But, they always seem to be out of stock or unwilling to look in back storage for any items . Ive asked a few times if theres more of the particular item Im there for in the back only to be told Im not sure ! So, while the prices are right dont count on finding the items or receiving any sort of friendly customer service .

Worst family dollar

Its a good place to go get something fast at... Most the staff are friendly... Never clean in the parking lot either! Its filthy out here!! And they need to change their hours of operation with Google and hours posted on the outside door... It says they are currently open but are clearly still closed and nobody here! Now I gotta go all the way to sohl which I would have done in the first place if I knew... 🤬🤬🤬🤬

This location is ALWAYS in disarray. The employees are always loud and using profanity but when it comes to providing customer service, theyre either dry and insincere or dont speak at all. I love shopping at Family Dollar but I cannot stand going into this hammond location but, its most convenient when Im in the area.

We will be searching for a new Family Dollar to shop at, the turnover rate is obviously high (fyi... we miss Ciara). If I could I would give this location -3 stars for they seem to hire the most extra ghetto with a side of ratchet straight outta the hood people including the manager.** 8/10/18 UPDATE**What they no longer allow reviews for this FD location?Guess Ill edit this one I posted a few months back. Went in to see any difference in staff to only notice there really isnt for they hire the same type of people.An employee by the name of Antoine made quite a scene at the 147 Sibley location. He was being rude to his co-worker IN FRONT of customers stating he has two degrees & can do better than Family Dollar (yet youre here). She was requesting assistance since the line was getting long but he was obviously upset about something that triggered his ghetto outburst. We found that to be completely unacceptable and it seems as though Family Dollar hires anybody. The young lady that checked us out during this adult version of a temper tantrum was very professional the entire time that young man had an attitude problem (another bitter black man). She did not deserve to be spoken to in a manner he did. He asked her what did we need cause he is getting ready to walk out. Keep in mind her transaction is almost complete. As much as I like Family Dollar I will NEVER step foot in there again. Any Family Dollar store as a matter of fact for I am done with them. They obviously have no interest ensuring there stores has a presentable look including employees, they care not for the customers but only the money we carry.Also yes I did indeed send this to corporate.

One of the better stores for having things in stock but dont sell cigarettes at this location....

This store is so cluttered with boxes in the small isles every time Ive been there.

Store was not neat and orderly.

Customer service is horrible. Cashiers are slow, unconcerned and not knowledgeable about merchandise; standing at the register, playing with their cell phones while ringing customers... so ghetto! Store is clean but extremely cluttered. This location is despicable and I pray that I never have to return.
