I had a wonderful experience with Mavis! There was a screw in my tire, and they were able to fix it quickly and effectively at a VERY reasonable cost. Everyone I spoke to was personable and made me feel welcome there. I especially appreciated them going above and beyond to fit me in before they closed for the day. Will definitely return for future service!

Scratched and left gouges where they mount the wheel to get the tire on and off. Dont bring them anything with aluminum wheels. Manager justified the damage as thats just how the machine works and of course he is correct if your using the wrong machine.

I ended up needing a lot of work. They quoted me wrong from the call canter on the price of 4 tires but Raymond and Katrina figured it out. And they did it quick! My car needed inspection and it failed because of my brakes but they honestly gave me a great deal. I highly recommend mavis greece for all of tour car repairs. Tuseday 09/14, i got my car done at mavis discount tire.I was very disappointed because of someone did not care enough to keep their customer carsclean. I entrusted my car to the professional, but you showed non of it.I Dont want to cause any trouble, so I wont come back.I used to come here whenever my car have problems, but it will not happen again until things are ( Improved or Fixed ).Over all, the services were quick.

I’ve been to just about every Mavis there is in Rochester NY and always had an issue or was never satisfied until I walked into Mavis in Greece and met The manager Ray. He was so kind and patient and told me he would guarantee I left a happy customer. Well that’s exactly what happened. Ray is the best manager Mavis has. I love this Greece location so if you go there please ask for the manager Ray.

I went to see Joe at Mavis Tire on West Ridge Road when I had a earlier appointment at Monro Muffler on Dewey Ave just for a small hole in exhaust that needed to be patched, the guy took it upon himself to fully break my cat back pipe where it attaches to my muffler. Then after denying it he tried over charging me to fix that pipe. I called Mavis on west ridge and told them im coming in. Joe and his crew looked at my whole exhaust system and showed me that I needed a new cat back pipe as well as a new muffler because it was so rusted that within time the new pipe would break off. Knowing what I went through, Joe felt sympathetic and helped me out with great services as well as a great deal. Though my experience differs at each Mavis location, the one on ridge road west always helps out their customers. I will definitely recommend them. Thanks again Joe and crew 🤘😎

Needed tires and a lot of front end work. They were able to take care of everything for me at once, saving me the hassle of needing to bring my car to multiple locations for various work. Friendly staff, fair prices, and upfront with diagnosis and cost. This was my first visit to this Mavis and Ill definitely be back for any other repairs I might need in the future.

Very good experience. I needed quite a bit of work done. Given recent experiences at other shops, it was polarizing to go anywhere to have work done. Almost three times the amount of work as the last place I went, for about the same price. I recommend this Mavis Discount Tire location. These people are a bunch of hacks. I went in there to have work done on my car, $1300 worth front end suspension and breaks then left with a check engine light and ABS light. The female manager then told me that you cant have all that work done and not have something else happen. Firestone down the street said they broke 2 wheel speed sensors on the car. My sister also had front suspension work thereaand when she left the cv joint fell out the car. Cheap prices dont get you quality work., you just get what you paid for. CHEAP WORK.

Trust me when I say, you dont ever want to purchase tires from Mavis Discount tire. If you make the mistake of doing so dont purchase the Extended Warranty it doesnt cover anything after 90 days. Also if you pay for an alignment make sure you actually SEE them do it and GET a print out of the alignment. I have been to 3 different Mavis Discount Tire in the Rochester are and was treated rudely, lied too, yelled at by Densie in the Corporate Office. It IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. BEWARE!!!

My exhaust pipe came apart. Was charged $350 to replace the pipe and “gaskets”. It sounded fine for a few weeks so I thought they did a great job. Recently it started to make a whistling sound so I checked under the car and what I saw was a bad weld job. I was told I was getting charged for a new pipe not a weld.....disappointed never going there or recommending to anyone.

My experience at Mavis on W. Ridge Rd. yesterday was nothing but smooth, friendly and painless. I do wish I knew the name of the person I dealt with behind the desk (Bob maybe) since he was very pleasant.

Great experience from start to finish! I reluctantly called Mavis to get a quote on tires, I have had bad experiences with other similar shops in the past, and tend to use non-commercial mechanics. Mavis was able to give me the best price on name brand tires from every place I tried! Had to be to good to be true. Figured there had to be some hidden fees at some point. I dropped my truck off, staff at the front desk was awesome, he reviewed my order, offered me an alignment at an additional cost but wasnt pushy. As I walked out of the store I couldnt help by feel relieved that the price I was quoted over the phone hadnt changed. Picked my truck up at the end of the day, and to my surprise, still only had to pay what I was quoted!To sum it all up:Staff was greatPrices were greatProduct was greatService was greatI will definitely be going back for all of my tire needs!

These people are scam artists I got an oil change from them and as I got to 300 mile to my next oil change my motor started making a clanking noise I checked the oil and it was bone dry! I bring in to get checked out 3 hour later they call me to tell they cant touch the car cuz it was making a clanking noise I proceed to tell them for the second time they were the last one to touch the oil nope aint they fault ofcourse. So go some where else

Took my 08 gmc envoy for oil change. They spilled oil all over front motor and belt causing major squealing ended up having to replace belt. Took back up directly after and mngr said sorry old equipment we can clean up for you, I told him it looks like it has no oil in it he assured me it was full. Week later truck motor started making sounds. Checked oil and none on dipstick. No oil leaks under or on motor. WILL NOT BE TAKING BACK HERE. THEY CAN KEEP THE FREE OIL CHANGE THEY OFFERED.

Go literally anywhere but here.i scheduled an online appointment to get my 2 front tires changed. i showed up on time and turned in my keys and was told i’d be called once my car was ready. 1 hour later i started to make my way back expecting a call any second only to find my car in the same place before with no new tires... i went in and asked if there was an estimated time it’d be ready and was told that i was next in line. (i thought that scheduling an appointment gave me a reserved time slot but i guess not?) 3 or so more cars went in before mine and i’m currently still waiting for my car and it’s almost been 3 hours... making me incredibly late for all my appointments for the rest of the day and an extremely ornery customer:(

They are really great there. The got me right in and prices are fair. Donna helped me and made sure that I was able to get done what I needed to have a safe vehicle. She didnt try to upsell me or overcharge me. Thanks guys keep up the good work!Update: went back for inspection and the manager was very rude. He told me that he wouldnt pass my car after I was told by someone else that they would. Was very condescending. Not friendly and no customer service skills at all. Not sure what happened in the last month but I will not be returning. Piece of advice: as a manager you should be respectful and kind to your customers or you wont have any left. Donna knew how to treat customers.

I had a great experience at this location this evening. I got home from work and noticed I had a screw stuck in my tire and could hear the air escaping the tire. I saw they closed at 6pm and I called around 5:20pm. The gentleman told me to come on in so they could plug it. I made it there and not only did they fix it in a timely manner, they did it free of charge. I was very grateful and will definitely recommend them.

Managers Donna and Charles are extremely knowledgeable and customer first. Ive been in 3times this year for emergency servicing. Not only am I in and out in a more than reasonable amount of time but the prices are more than reasonable for a chain. I have never felt like any of the employees were trying to upsell or overcharge for something I wasnt in for.I have overhead multiple conversations between Management irate customers, they handle the customer with care and do everything to explain to the customer what is happening. (From my observation and past experiences,the customers are getting a steal for the parts/labor)Thank you to the Greece staff for always going above and beyond my expectations!

I never do these reviews, but I just have to share my experience. Had a bolt randomly jam into a tire and was becoming a dangerous condition very fast. Pulled in without calling or an appointment and explained the situation to Donna. Despite being super busy, she got us right in there. Devon jumped on the and was professional, courteous, and friendly. Did a phenomenal job. No games whatsoever, just a great experience. HIGHLY recommend!!!

The place has gotten terrible. Been going to this location for years. Mechanic broke a shock putting in on. 3-4 guys walking around playing with their phones while cars are lined up. One mechanics little girl was wandering around in the shop which Im sure is a safety policy violation. I had to bring car back on consecutive days because they broke shock and didnt have spare. This after car was on the lift for 4 hours.

Please avoid Mavis at all cost. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. My mom, my boyfriend and I had to get new tires all in the same week and we each had horrible experiences where the employees have lied, misquoted and gave us the run around. Avoid, avoid, avoid! So many other better places to get tires done.

All I can say is WOW we were blown away with the outstanding customer service from Donna. I took the car in on Monday to have a noise that seemed to be coming from a possible wheel bearing problem to be looked at. It was determined that the left side bearing was making noise and it was possible that the right side bearing was going bad again.The left side bearing turned out to be quite a problem getting off the car and Donna felt bad that it was taking much longer than expected. The guys had a tough time for sure in very hot weather but they fixed the problem and then determined that the right side was also bad and that was covered under warranty from a previous repair. All I can say is that Donna went over and above to make us happy and we appreciate her efforts. We will make sure to spread the good word about this shop on W Ridge road.store # 109

I just want to say that the manager Donna and her crew are the best.I go there for all my service on my car and even when some customers can become irate and rude instead of listening to what they are told is wrong they always work through it and I have never seen them become rude with a customer.

Can an was absolutely amazing he needs a raise

Brought my car in for an oil change and inspection. Had a noon appointment and told them I was waiting for it. The waiting room was over 80 degrees. They didn’t pull my car in until 1:30. At 4:00, I insisted that they take my car down and let me leave. They made laundry list of things that were wrong with my car, but had only changed the oil. As soon as I got in my car, I noticed my wheels were pulling severely to the left, the car was jumping forward on the highway, and there was squeaking in the back- all new issues. I called immediately and reported the problem. I was told very politely to bring it back in first thing in the morning. 8am on the dot, I brought it in. At first they seemed interested in getting me back to where I was when I drove it in. Very quickly, they started denying that anything happened in their care. The regional manager told me that they would fix the alignment and squeaking. The staff in the store refused, telling me the manager doesn’t know what he’s talking about. When I insisted on speaking to the mechanic that worked on my car, I was told to leave WITHOUT MY VEHICLE or the police would be called. I begged them to call the police or give me my car back- which was still on the lift 3 hours and 45 minutes later (7hrs and 45 minutes total), and had to go around to the mechanic side myself to retrieve my vehicle. Another shop had it done in 2.5 hrs. Do not let these people near your car if you value it’s worth or your time.
