Back in 2018 I had my 93 Chevy van towed here so they could replace the windshield because a bird came through it on I-83 in PA. The next day they called me and said they couldnt do the job because of the rust holes in the windshield frame. I had the van towed to another local shop who informed me that there were no issues with the windshield frame just some surface rust and it was no problem installing a new windshield. I saw it with my own eyes. Safelite simply didnt want to do the job or didnt have the techs with the talent to do the job. To this day it burns me up!

These guys are the absolute best! They were able to fix my issue no problem AND theyre super friendly. Im really happy with everything theyve done for me.

I explained my 11 year olds respiratory issues and asked the gentleman at the front desk if he could make sure anyone that worked on our vehicle stayed masked as we do not let anyone unmasked into our home or vehicles. He said he would definitely make sure the technician did so. When they were done with our vehicle he also had the technician wipe down the anything they touched and then wiped the keys and credit card down for me. I honestly havent had any business take THAT much precaution for us and I really do appreciate it!! Also the glass was put in beautifully!

Very polite and welcoming service. They even came off lunch early to work on my window. Was told it would take 2 hours. Was done in 1 hour 20 mins. Only minus. Was that they did not vacuum the floors. The other Safelite did. No big deal my kids are so quick to trash the floor anyway.

Charles our technician was terrific. He called several times within our arrival window to keep us up-to-date on his arrival time. He was very friendly. He quickly replaced the windshields in two of our pickup trucks, and he explained all relevant details and answered all our questions. The best thing...everything was clean, bright and sanitized when he was done!

They sent an inexperienced technician who not only left my car open and dirty but broke the windshield frame and didn’t tell me that it happened. As I was driving down the freeway it popped off. I call to have my concerns addressed and the manager Will told me it wasn’t a safety issue and I’ll be fine. What a way to make a customer feel by invalidating their concerns about a service they paid for. A week later the windshield frame still isn’t fixed and I found a screw driver that was left in the hood area. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Seek a different glass shop if you want to be taken care of.

Very poor customer service. Desk staff was rude and unwilling to work with me on a time that fit my work schedule. For those that have a full time job, this service desk does not understand the challenges of taking time off to get work completed on your vehicle.

I was scheduled for service at my apartment, I received a confirmation email day-of with a photo of my service tech and a time frame. He never showed, and customer service cant give me an answer. Apparently the business put down that customer didnt show, which is ridiculous because I waited for 5 hours for them to show up. The company has my email address and phone number on file. A five hour service window was hardly convenient to begin with. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

Great place to get your car service really very professional

I was checked in immediately and my car was being worked on within 10 minutes of my appointment arrival. While no chip fix can guarantee complete transparency, most of the chip in my windshield is now transparent. This was better than my expectations.Updated and removed a star: my crack came back two days later. I know I signed off on the guarantee that provides credit toward windshield replacement, but I was trading the van in two days and they couldnt replace the windshield for a week. That crack took value away from my trade-in.

Great service and done in a day. Very easy to coordinate work through Geico. The technician even called to make sure we were aware of an issue with the sound system.

Let’s start this conversation with it was raining first … I was sitting in the waiting room with 6 guys only women in the waiting… every guy in the waiting had someone come explain to them about there car when my car was done I didn’t get NOTHING I got it’s 200$ and here is ur key and they packed my car all the way in the back while everyone else got there pulled to the front !!!!!! Outrageously expensive they quoted me $350 for a glass replacement when the rear passenger door glass on a 2002 Chevy Malibu when I had a another company quote me $170 with a lifetime warranty on the and they came to me and fixed it for no extra charge

So far, so good. When our vehicle is completely finished, by the end of this week, I will then complete my review. For the reason being, it was initially to be just a simple replacement of our front windshield. However, since Carmax, Laurel MD., 2.5 years ago when we purchased the used VW Tiguan, we didnt notice the fudged up, hidden cheapest and lousy fraudulent work done on our windshield. They put silicone, then, not original, moulding all along the top rail where the windshield sits. So, Safelight, being honest, and caring about the safety issues, explained what steps were needed to do the job the Proper way, not THE CARMAX, LAUREL WAY. So, as I stated, so far so good. They, we are coupled with Maaco, Glen Burnie, MD. Brandon, one of the 2 Office employees, whom have also been great to deal with so far. Im quite confident that this will have a great outcome. I will complete these reviews as soon as all is finished. Fingers crossed. Respectfully..

A windy night rained down tree limbs and broke my rear window glass. The people at Safelite taped up my window and I made an appointment for the following day. They were nice and courteous, and told me it would take about 90 minutes. Came back 90 minutes later and it was done. They worked with my insurance company and I paid $100.00 deductible. I would use them again.

Cannot get through to actual shop to get a question answered. I will use someone else. Automated phone hung up on me twice.

They gave me the an appointment time that didnt match what the scheduled, and had my vehicle for 3 days. Would not answer phone. I even called the corporate line and they couldnt get the shop to answer. Do NOT recommend!

I brought my 2017 Subaru Outback in to have them repair a leaky windshield. After the tech looked my cover he discovered that the leak was from a disconnected sunroof drain tube. The tech showed me the problem and said that he would reconnect the tube. He did as he said he would and to my surprise, there was no charge for his work. Thank you Safelite Auto. I appreciate your honesty and your generosity.

They replaced my Mini Vans wind shield. They were recommended through Geico so went with them. They finished the replacement and sensor collaboration within 2 hours which was awesome. They were friendly and had coffee for waiting customers so no complain their. They should make the ambience a little more inviting as customers have to wait for long periods of time. Also please note they dont have shuttle service hence the waiting. I would definitely recommend to get your wind shield work done here.

I submitted a USAA windshield insurance claim on a Monday and requested mobile repair service to come out the upcoming Wednesday between 9-12. So I took leave from work for those hours. The insurance claim listed all vehicle information with the type of windshield requirements. I received a call from the location immediately asking to reschedule the time to 12 pm and if I would bring the vehicle to their location. I spoke to the location approximately 9 am on Wednesday prior to arriving to their location at 12pm to ensure everything was good to go because now I had to take leave for the remaining part of the day to accommodate THIS location. Upon arriving, there were four individuals sitting around on the floor with oblivious nothing to do. I was informed by the same individual I spoke to at 9 am that the wrong windshield was ordered! I spoke with safelite dispatch who advised that this location took my windshield claim and didn’t not have appropriate staffing? WHO THE HECK are the individuals sitting around in safelite uniforms then? I will never recommend this location to anyone needing glass repair or replacement (PERIOD)! They thought I was going to wait around while they got the right windshield? NOPE! I’m not giving your facility a dime! I contacted another out of network windshield provider and they got the job done right the first time.

Dropped off early and they took my direct number and promised to call as soon as it was done, most likely in about 1.5 hours. Six hours later, I had received no call. So, I called the number listed online for this location. I was sent to automated robot voice interaction hell, where it took me about 6 tries to be directed toward a live human, all the while I was subjected to Safelites wonderful jingle. Once I finally got to a customer representative, she still had to put me on hold to call this store to verify if it my vehicle was ready. By the time she got back on the line to tell me Its ready, my window of opportunity to pick it up was rapidly closing for the day. I let her know that I would not be coming back to this business. Finally, when I went back to pick up my vehicle, I was handed the keys without any verification that it was mine, so if you are ever looking to pick up someone elses car, this would be a good place to go.

Insurance claim, had to replace my windshield. They told me to come in earlier then my appointment time and yet it still took 3.5 hours, when complete they didnt bother to call and let me know. They gouged my brand new leather wrapped dash board which of course I had to discover on my own. They said they would call regarding repairs the following day, so far its been 4. Will be calling corporate office.

I would not use Safelite Glen Burnie location again. The experience was not worth their high cost. My truck was damaged while they were installing glass into my truck and he told me he could get it fixed by a local body shop or give me a partial refund.I told him the white scratches were caused by a pry tool and are not too terrible so a partial refund for my inconvenience would be fine. Well that was 3 or 4 weeks ago and yesterday I called and he said I should have received the partial refund but I clearly have not.So he took my number and told me he’d check on it and call me back. Well today I had to call him once AGAIN.... He almost sounded like he forgot about me once again.I asked where the refund was? He said it didn’t get processed so he would get it issued but kept avoiding how much it was. When I asked him how much it was he said $75.00.....75.00...(WTF) This blew my mind. Original cost was $429.00. I cannot believe that my troubles and damage were only worth 75.00. You gotta be kidding me...!He once again told me I could take it to a body shop and get an estimate and submit it to them but I would rather write this review so others know what they are getting themselves into when dealing with this location.Don’t Trust this location. Go somewhere else and pay less and get a better experience.

Had a door window replaced. They took the time to clean out all the little bits and pieces of broken glass that I didnt have time to clean up. Admittedly my car is pretty junky on the inside but they still got everything. Wasnt expecting that and it was a very nice surprise. Thanks team!

If I could give it a negative one I would. Flamboyant male with attitude was off the chain from day 1. No communication prior to driving to location to have window cracked twice..When vehicle is finally ready I asked to speak to manager, explained series of events to manager. Rep..begins to argue with me as if we are somewhere in the club..lol..Manager take me outside apologize profusely and cover my deductible. The actions of the manager after the fact is the reason I gave 1 star. Manager could have tried to resolve issue before it got to the point of no return. I would never return to this safelite.

Go to another company that uses quality replacement glass, they replaced my windshield and it cracked the next day and they of course claimed it was hit by something and it wasnt a stress crack. The crack happened literally less then 24hrs of install. I think it was damaged when it was installed, the installer installed the windshield by hand not that fancy piece of equipment they show on t.v..The new windshield they installed looks very fragile nothing like the factory windshield.

Do NOT try to get a human on the phone. I was simply trying to see how long a replacement would take so I could plan the rest of my day. You cannot contact the local location for simple questions as you can with most service center organizations. After being redirected back to the website 10 times and holding for 15 minutes I hung up. I will complete this install but look for alternatives in the future. While I love efficiency, it should never be at the total sacrifice of human touch. And making a customer hold indefinitely puts Safelites efficiency in front of mine which is counter to great service.

I always use Safelite. They are always on time professional and the work is excellent. The facility here is clean, friendly and comfortable for a service area. I would highly recommend this business they do great work!

The sheer speed in which they replaced a damaged windshield wins them five stars. We stopped in on a road trip and were out in exactly an hour. The staff was friendly, offering us use of their private bathroom and we were able to wait in a comfortable sitting area, complete with TV, coffee and water.

Cant do 0 stars. Scheduled a mobile appointment from 8-12. No show. I called at 1230 and was told the tech was on the way. Appointment was finally cancelled by Safelite at 230.when I finally got ahold of this shop they told me they tried to contact to me (not true I have no missed calls and no voicemails) about signing a waiver. The truth is they didnt even have the necessary glass in stock. They never called me, didnt inform me when I called them and didnt have any communications in the online messaging system. Really glad I wasted an entire day waiting for them. The employee at the Glen Burnie Safelite office had no apology, and no explanation of why I wasnt contacted or why the appointment wasnt cancelled earlier, since they knew they didnt have this glass in stock. He suggested I make another appointment after they order the correct piece of glass. He was unable to provide me with any assurances that this kind of mishap wouldnt happen again. Stay away from their Glen Burnie office.

I love wasting my life!Here is my appt in detail:- Last week I setup the appointment. Like another reviewer said cannot use a phone to book an appointment. I waited on hold for 20mins before going to the website. It should have been a red flag on what I was walking into.- Showed up at 8:10 for my 8:30 appointment The front door was still locked, and it felt like I was inconveniencing the front desk staff.- 8:50 took my truck back (keep in mind I was the only person in the store waiting for 40min), but no big deal 20min past scheduled appt time is not terrible.- 9:00 cannot repair windshield; need to take it to an auto body shop because I tried to stop the leak with silicone, and it is probably rusted under there anywayAnd that is corporate America in a nutshell. Someone a long time ago made a policy that distinguished thier company from others with an impressive lifetime guarantee policy. Fast forward a few years and now that same company uses this policy as an excuse not to do work because they are too afraid of hurting thier bottom line. End result is an autoglass company that can no longer replace autoglass.

Dont take teslas here. They dont know what they are doing. Made appointment to replace my windshield. Was told they were Tesla certified so i assumed they new what they were doing. Showed up and an hour into it was the told they needed to keep the car over night that the technicians discovered they needed to take apart additional items to get to the windshield. Why they didnt know that before is and plan accordingly is infuriating. I hope they dont screw my car up.

To those people who want to save money i would recommend Glass America located at E ordnance rd. I own 2001 honda ex 2 door coupe and i was searching for the best prices so basically satellite auto glass gave me $274.00price to replace the passenger window side and Glass america gave me for $169 and i couldnt believe it they were charging so high. thanks but no thanks

Would give zero stars if possible. Set up an appointment, for 12-5, they sent me an email the morning of to confirm, I took off work to be there, then at 2:10, I get a call from the installer saying that they are not coming because the insurance hasnt approved the repair. I had given them the claim number and agents number, who had called me to say it was approved. Ill never use Safelite again
