I do not normally give negative reviews but this is a must, if I could give this company (Micro Edge Window Tinting) 0 or negative stars I would definitely do just that.I have tried to talk to the owner multiple times concerning the horrific tint job done on both of my vehicles. I truly wanted to resolve this issue without taking further action so upon pickup I immediately spoke to the lady and she denied the damage to my brand new car and stated the window tint would be fine .She also said she would have the owner call me. The owner never called so I called me back again and spoke to a lady employee; she said she would give him the message. Again no returned call so I called 3 more times and left 3 more voice messages asking specifically that the owner return my call. I have posted several photos of proof so perhaps the owner will find it professional to return my call now.Here is a list of problems I personally had with this place and the photos of my vehicles that will prove that not only did we receive a very unprofessional tint job but they also damaged my brand new vehicle that has less than 400 miles on it.First of all my husband and I dropped both our vehicles off at this place and expected a professional tint job. Needless to say it was far from a professional tint job. The tint they installed on both of our vehicles have tons of dirt between the window tint and the glass, the tint has missing pieces where tint should be, the tint is not even at all on the sun strip, one side is higher than the other side. Plus they were told specifically not to place it below the legal line and they did not listen. The one vehicle has scrapes in the tint from whatever tool was used to apply it to the window. On top of that my brand new vehicle was damaged when it was returned to me. It now has a very long dig/deep scratch in the door frame. My vehicle has only been driven by me and I thoroughly inspected it before I purchased it. This vehicle has less than 400 miles on it.Needless to say my husband and I are beyond upset over the service we received from Micro-Edge Window Tinting and will not recommend this place to anyone. If you think the price is great like we did BEWARE you get what you pay for!

Got the ceramic window tint on my Lincoln mkz two different shades. Its a great job with a lifetime warranty for 159$ highly recommend them and the ceramic tint and computer cut. Almost flawless. Done in a hour and a half in and out. Looks great cant wait to test it this summer.

Do not go here they damaged my whole muffler system buy putting 2 inch muffler I paid for from them and and stuffing it inside my existing 3 Inch pipe and welded it over top of it like it was normal and the dummy welded my muffler over top of the drive shaft and its been rattling and banging since I left..and the tall dumb guy that did the work tried to play dumb like he didnt know what was going on.. dont take your cars there thats why they say no refunds on their sloppy work

Very Good ExperienceI had a 1000am appointment there today to have my wifes explorer tinted. I met with Mrs. Katrina who was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. They provided prompt, excellence service and quality. I spoke to Mrs. Katrina in regards to purchasing an exuast system in the near future for my truck and she was on point, and very reasonable. Needless to say, I will most certainly be returning to this place for future work on my vehicles. They are a legit local business which I admire, and appreciate over the BS chain businesses. I will definitely do my part and support Micro-Edge in the future especially in times where small business are in need bc of Covid. Great job Micro-Edge keep up the great work. I left out of there totally satisfied in both customer service and quality of work. Forget all the negative remarks.

Micro- Edge has done a fantastic job on my vehicles... looking threw others reviews and comments I think its sad to bash ones business.... talking about how small the lobby is. I was in and out in less than an hour half so the lobby wasnt a problem for me .... The tint Film was perfectly cut hence why I paid extra for the computer cut instead of hand cut ...... and not 1 bubble has popped up ... I also have 4 other friends who have gotten all of their work trucks tinted here.

This place has really gone down hill. Use to go to them all the time since they are right outside of the neighborhood & never really had an issue but now ill be taking my business elsewhere. Professionalism & Customer Service is some of the worst ever & I just feel like if you dont like what you do dont take it out on customers find another career/hobby, etc. Not only was it just that... The tint still had dirt between the window & the tint. Their work has become very sloopy. I have an appointment elsewhere to get the tint taken off & put on the right way. Thanks but No thanks.

This place used to be better at tinting and faster. Ive had 2 or 3 other vehicles tinted here last year that were decent, and I only waited about an hour and a half. I live about an hour and a half away so this wait time is ideal. However, I went here about a month ago and waited 5 hours before my car was done. The waiting room is a joke, its microscopically small. No restrooms for customers, you have to walk across the highway to the 711, and this place is cash only. Im spending my money here and cant pee? The tint removal job sucked and I believe they ruined my defrost lines with a razor because the defrost lines look lighter in many areas now and it doesnt work as great as it did before. The tint job has bubbles in it and the tint doesnt go all the way to the top of the windows. Theres about an inch gap at the top that doesnt have tint. I shouldve just steamed the old tint off myself which wouldve been the better way to do it. Its faster, easier and little to no razor is needed for glue residue. I wont be lazy and get anyone else to remove tint again, thats for sure. Gave them 2 stars because it was a competitively priced ($125) tint job, although it sucked this time around. The tint removal cost just as much. I personally will go elsewhere for tint in the future.

My last time coming to this business, the woman just make up prices on standard cars . Advertising at $100 but when I get there it’s $150. Unbelievable, I’ve been coming here for over ten years..... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I called early for a 4:00 appointment & the lady said the 4:00 person spot was filled the only spot she had open was 2:00 so i had plans already for around that time so i said that i might be late & that i don’t mind waiting so she told me that she will call the 3:00 & see if they were still coming. 3 hours later she never called i end up calling her & then she tell me that she filled the 2:00 position that i wanted was filled already. I felt disrespected honestly because she told me that i was gonna get a call back but never did. She tried to fuss back with me which is very unprofessional. Today was my only day off & i wanted my tints today & couldn’t.

Explained everything up front. The job was done professionally and promptly. The finished product could not have come out any more perfectly. Got tint done here. the brow wasnt cut right and was peeling off 15 minutes down the road. Also asked for it to be computer cut but instead they hand cut it. Tried to call before I got back home but no answer so decided to go back and they had people waiting for an appointment at 2pm but no one was there. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone

After a week of calling, a woman finally answered the phone and I was able to make an appointment for the next day to have 2 cars tinted. Called back maybe an hour later, to ask about pushing my appointments to an hour later and was told by a man that it was fine, and he had changed the time. Arrived for my appointment the next day with both vehicles, to learn that they had only changed 1 appointment to a later time. That sounds to me as a scheduling issue on their part, but nope, they had made it my problem, and would only do 1 car of their choice. Left the 1 car parked out front, and left to take the other car to another shop. After waiting for almost 3 hours for them to call, we decided to drive by to see the 1 vehicle untouched, still parked where we had left it.. Was then told by the woman it would be another hour.. Not happening. Asked for the keys back, especially after reading a few reviews, and went on our way. If they were going to be busy, they shouldnt have let us make an appointment.. They watched my car sit in their parking lot for 3 hours.. Thankfully Absolute Sound and Style, did an amazing job on our tints! Zero stars if I could!

I called earlier and someone told me they are taking people till 5:00pm. So 3:30 I start calling them making sure they can take me. No answer I called 7 times not joking. So I was thinking maybe they busy Ill just go up there I pulled up at 3:58 doors are locked place was closed even though the sign said theyre open till 6. I wouldnt make it a big deal but I was trying to surprise my wife by getting her car tinted.

Very professional and they give great results

This place has seriously gone downhill over the past few years, I used to have all my cars done there which was a lot. I have visited multiple times to see if I could get tint done and every time I go in they are booked up and when I ask when would be a good time to come back they tell me they are booked up for weeks or that I cant make a appointment I just have to come back and see if they are available to do it that day. Also the lobby is super small and there is never anyone there when you walk in, you will end up standing there for at least 20 minutes before anyone decides to come out from the back to assist you, they have a camera setup so obviously they are aware when customers walk in.

Called for a quote on a fairly simple Custom Exhaust On a third Gen Camaro Simply because the Big sign out front says Custom Exhaust. Young lady asked me if it was a bolt on exhaust. And then explained they cant do customer exhaust Only bolt on systems. Referenced me to another shop. Id like to add she was very respectful, Only got 2 stars because the sign out front states custom exhaust, In my opinion if you cant do that you should remove the sign.

Customer service is trash!!! Called to set up an appointment the day before to be there at 3. I told the lady what vehicle I had and what i wanted done. She confirmed exactly what I told her and she gave me a price the available time they had open. I got to the shop the next day 20 minutes early this woman told me she only had time to take the tint off. I told her thats not what we discussed. She went to the back and came back to the front and tried to charge me for 4 windows after I specifically told her I had a 2door. She changed her price from $70 to $120 FOR 2 DOORS!!!! Also when they do your tint they leave your car a mess which they done both of my vehicles.

I had them do tint on a 1985 Mercedes 300SD. Did a fine job. Would have given 5 stars except while I was waiting I watched them time and again inform people that any tint on their front window is illegal so they should get the coupon for prepaid cheap removal.This is a half truth. Yes, they offer a 6 strip of tint which on most vehicles extends below the ANSI line; in turn this would fail inspection. However, they pitch it as any tint on the front is completely illegal. Thats 100% false. Above that line you can spray paint black if you were so inclined. Giving them the benefit of the doubt Ill say its explained the way it is for simplicity.They also washed my car before giving it back to me which was cool. That said, I do plan on bringing my truck in tomorrow for tint and a windshield strip.

Took my baby (mustang) to Micro-Edge for tints. They did an amazing job and I only paid 131. Customer service was good and they explained everything to me before hand. I would recommend them.

Talk about a mess! Be ready to pay for what you get--- My car was brand new (3 days old not even 100 miles on it)and had to literally be completely cleaned on the inside even on the seats,door cards, handles, steering wheel, switches, and a dozen nice circles on the sunroof glass from where they kept putting there bottle on it thank god it wasnt a painted roof! Then my wife calls them to nicely ask if the tint chemical that was everywhere is safe on leather and what to wipe it up with and there response was wipe it with water and then hung up the phone on my wife--- like i said in the beginning you pay for what you get

Asked them to tint my windows to the legal level of 35%. They actually did a great job. However, in process of transferring my car I had to get it inspected. The car failed because the tint was darker than the legal level, because the initial factory tint on the window was not factored in. So the installed tint had to be removed. I went back to micro-edge to have the tint removed and I explained to them why and reminded them I had asked the tint on my window to be at the legal level when they installed it. They then referred to the contract which admittedly I did sign but did not read which stated I should have known the factory tint level before asking Micro-Edge to install. As I am not a tint specialist and this is the first car Ive ever had tinted I couldnt have know all this. They charged me $80 to remove the tint, though apparently they usually charge $100. Lesson learned: read the print before you tint. FYI: the place where I had the inspection done wanted to charge me $200 and said it would take an entire day to remove the tint. To Micro-Edge credit they only took an hour.

MicroEdge did the tint on my Lancer a few years ago. They did an awesome job on the work, they were friendly, and I think they even (for free, with no attitude) corrected an issue in the tint that didnt sit correctly after a week. I have sent several people here to have their cars tinted, and tomorrow when I get my new car-- I will be making an appointment for this weekend. Cannot beat the prices.

Went to Micro-Edge for tint on my 08 corolla. They exceeded my expectations. I had 20% laser cut tint and 6k hids done for $225. The workmanship was top notch and the price was rock bottom. This place is well worth the 30 minute trip. A+

Take your money elsewhere. I had them repair the back window and needed a second repair because it bubbled again. The lady who comes out the door gave me the run around. She scheduled me twice and when I arrived she lied and said she had me down for another time and couldn’t do it. Scheduled me again and for a third time I arrived and she said she couldn’t do it.

First, they told me it would only take an hour to an hour and a half. I showed up at 10:45 for my 11:00 apt and I didnt leave until 2pm (three hours later).And when they brought my car around, There was glue from applying the film leftover around almost every edge on the back. My cars body even had dried glue on it around every window.As for the tint, the drivers window was the only one applied properly. The back has bubbles around all of the lines for the antennae and the passenger window has multiple smaller bubbles in the upper corner.I wont be referring them anymore business

Would give 0 stars if possible, set up a appointment 5 days ahead of time and took off work early to have my tint done, got there 30 mins early and the doors were locked and no one from there was around. Guys from the business behind them said they are terrible any way and do that all the time and recommend going some where else.

Beware; if you happen to get a decent tint job great; but if there is any issues they wont fix it then and there. First you get the story they are to busy to fix it the same day that the poor work was done. What is insulting about that is you have already been there easily twice as long as they said it would take. Then you need to come back another day, but, only at their convenience of course(company policy to discourage re-work). Do not get any welding or fitting work done. Just because someone can melt a weld stick doesnt mean they are a welder. I had 3 leaks along the welds, then the custom piping was so butchered, I would had been better doing it myself with clamps. No customer service here after money has passed hands. I dare them if they disagree with my statements to not collect payment until services rendered are satisfactory. If they did they would be out of business. Check their reviews; do you hear any repeat customers on there? Bottom line you get what you pay for most times. This time it was better to pay someone else that assured me it would be done right before I left there premise. Exhaust: TONYs Custom on Crain HWY. you will find no one better, and for less. Tint: HP does good work, a little more, same long wait, but you will be much happier.

If I could give this place a negative rating......i would. lady who greets you in the 2 x 2 standing only waiting is rude. after tinting was done my 5 year old son found a razor in three back seat!!!!! prices are competitive for a reason...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Never will I go to a place like this again I dropped mi civic off to then 1130 half hour early told them I would be back later to leave keys in car and lock it I go to pick car up at 4:30 and its still not dont I waited another hour for it to be pulled out as I watch them pull cars in and out then a few days later I have bubbles and creases in my window and after paying extra for a warranty they say they will not cover it after they let my car sit there all day to get it fixed had to take off a half day at work to have it fixed and they never even did the bubbles this place is pathetic if I could rate this lower then 1 star I would

I got my windows tinted about five years ago from this place and it still looks amazing even after children and dogs it is held up well!! Great job guys!

Absolutely the worse service. Paid to have my Subaru Forester tinted and after a terrible install was told that they only do warranty work or repairs Mon-Fri. So I would have to take off from work to have them correct their lackluster work. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Also, while waiting I saw them scam 3 customers by saying that their catalytic converters needed to be replaced because of their check engine lights, this place is not reputable and you should not trust them to service your vehicle, end of story.

If you complain about this place then you have honest problems. Ive taken my Audi A6 here and my Ford Taurus (both. I have a thing for the car). My first 03 Taurus I got done in 2012 and the tints are in perfect condition to this day. I sold the car for a down payment on my Audi and the people live in my neighborhood so I see the car daily and theyre still great even though I had a cane corso and a Pitbull in the back seat putting slob all over the windows. Then the Audi I had computer done just in case and it turned out fine too. I have a Taurus again but this time a 07 (so same body style as the 03) and its phenomenal as always. I dont understand how the Subaru had such a hard time with there tints, but f that review! Even my moms Altima got tinted there 3 years ago and its still a great job done! 4 cars and we live in different areas and they tints on all of the cars are still 100% in tact and great! Just dont be a dumb as$ and roll your windows down before the day they tell u its safe and you shouldnt have any issue!

They took our car and locked in it their business for the weekend! We had tint done on Saturday and we went to pick up the car at 5PM when the sign clearly states they close at 6PM! They were gone and closed up! We had just talked to the owner about 15 min prior to our arrival! Then they said we would have to pay $25 extra to open the doors on Sunday! We arrived on Sunday and the owner was rude, disrespectful and said he didnt care if we never came back! Dont EVER EVER EVER go to Micro Edge for anything! He said he doesnt care what the sign on the door reads nor did he care what time the internet site said! What a horrible experience!

Cheapest converters around. I need a converter to pass emissions. Called around and this place was the cheapest by far, at least $100. They did the work and I passed my emissions. I will use them for all future work.

Had an appointment for custom exhaust and lift was down but had me for a wrong appointment doing tint. Wasted time driving over a hour and half. Maybe caught them on a bad day but bad business with scheduling and not calling for follow up.

This is my 3rd time to this shop. I went there for custom exhaust installation. The tech guy never say no to any job. I bought adjustable valve muffler from Xforce and trying to fit in 2010 vw cc. I went to few other shop and they said they cant help me with that. But i went to this shop he just did it no problem. They are also very cheap considering they just charged me 50. Well i also had my resonator cut out that was 75. I know they do a good welding job here. Only one negative is the waiting room is like a small closet size, worst smells like cigarette. Apart from that their work is grt and cheap too. So i recommend this shop for any exhaust work but i also recommend you to leave the car and pick it up when its done.

The tint came out perfect and fits like a glove! Just too bad its raining all week. Gotta wait til the weekend to open my windows.

Was in a rush to have my muffler deleted off my vehicle made a rash decision and brought it there they didnt follow instructions on what i wanted done the went rogue hacked my flange off factory muffler weld looked like swiss cheese leaked horribly they used smaller diameter pipe than what factory used so i had the pissed off honda sound while accelarating...then i questioned them as to why bell was left on pipe at outlet/tailpipe and was told i could cut off if i wanted too.....i was in shock by the shear stupidity of the conversation so i left and went to mandrel bend solutions had them redo everything properly....moral of the story you get what you pay for cheap price cheap qaulity end of story

Made an appointment to get my mustang tinted here, didnt actually go through with the install, when I went there the guy tried real hard to sell me the tint removal voucher for an extra $50. I said I didnt want it because I just wanted 35% tints which is whats legal in MD. He said he would put 35% film on it but because the car already had some tint from the factory it would go down to 28% which would be illegal and I would be better off buying the tint removal voucher. So basically they cant get your car to be 35% because all cars come with some factory tint. I called another, more legit place, and they said they put on 40% film, which combined with your tint from the factory would equal 35% and be legal. The place looked real shady too, I wouldnt go here if I was you.

This place closed early after setting an appointment and knowing that i was in traffic traveling from Stafford, Virginia to get some tint done. Horrible business. Ended up going to another shop around the corner called HUTH MOTORSPORTS, only to find that the guy who runs MICRO EDGE had been fired years ago by this individual for bad business practices such as this. NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!

O where do i begain? This place is horrible!!! I sat in this hole in the wall for 4 hours to get my windows tinted and received a the wost tint job i ever had! After calling and calling for them to fix it they just put me off by telling me there to busy to get to it today. I got so feed up with there poor customer service that i ended up put out $180 for another tint shop to remove and retint my vehicle and they did a wonderfull job. I dont know how these guys are still in business with the sloppy job they did on my car. PLEASE BEWARE THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a return customer but not any more .....first time ever i went was with my old car they tinted the windows and it was not too bad i had to go back the second time for them to fix the bubbles they did it was ok,,,,,but the chick thats in there now she thinks she knows it all was not there i dont know who she is but what ever,,,,,, not even a ounce of customer service skills but thats what u expect from a woman that does not take pride in her appearance,,,,,so now i got a new car i go in there second time figured they wont mess up too bad so they finised in less than 2 hrs so it was not too bad i get home by the time the watter dried i see soo many bubbles its crazy...so i call the shop she says ohh give it few days they will dry up....i said ok so some of them did some did not i go back to the shop because on one of the windows there was a cut in the tint or crease or what ever,,,, they fixed it but now the funny part i ask them to fix the bubble in the rear window they say ok,,, i leave the shop thinking it was fixed but little to my knowledge few hrs later i look and the bubble is still there so i call the shop and i ask her why the bubble was not fixed she said ohh we tried and we could not do it so i say i have a warranty and u telling me that you cant fix your screw up u cant fix a bubble what kind of mess is that,,,so we go back and forth,,,,so this is the great customer service that im getting some broad yelling and cussing at me back and forth saying we cant do nothing so BE WARE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE .....THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR TINT AND IF THEY DO THEY WONT FIX IT NEVER NEVER AGAIN I GUESS I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR CRAPPY SERVICE

Poor experience at least with headlights, installed a faulty pair of headlights, wouldnt troubleshoot correctly, nor give money back. Reported to the BBB. Very ignorant as Well. Also they didnt respond to the BBB request their rating is now a C- go somewhere else save your money from this place that is highway robbery.
