I am from the old school with the thought process that a bed is just a bed and used to lay your head down a few and back to work lol but not realizing or looking at the comfort of a mattress along with a good nights rest is a most important thing to consider when spending 1/4 of your lifetime in bed resting. Mattress Firm in Germantown, Maryland was wonderful! My consultant was Jo Jo. She has a thorough knowledge of the products and an easy going personality. Buying a new mattress has never been a very pleasant experience for me in the past. Jo Jo made me feel comfortable about my final selection. She did not have me try every mattress in the store, just a select few based on my sleep preference. Overall I had a pretty good experience with Mattress Firm. My sales person, Jess, worked hard to make sure I was happy with my set-up. I would say the only thing that detracted from my experience was an issue with the free adjustable base that came with my mattress. I didn’t really want the adjustable base, since I had existing box springs that worked fine; however, I was told that without a base that matched the new mattress my warranty may not be honored.So, I got the adjustable base, which was too low and the installers ended up placing it on top of my existing box springs. Ultimately that didn’t work well either. So, I ended up having to buy new box springs to ensure my warranty was covered. Now I’m stuck with an adjustable mattress base that I never wanted in the first place.

From the moment I walked in the door I felt like a cherished customer. Elvis was the salesperson who helped me and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about my mattress and needs. It took me a while to finalize my selection but Elvis was professional and patient. He worked with me to decide on the perfect mattress and base for my needs. The delivery service was extremely punctual and they were efficient workers. Unfortunately the base that was delivered was not in brand new condition and had to be swapped out but that is more on the warehouse than the store. In the end I found the bed of my dreams!

I went in not having a clue what I was looking for and ended up getting a fantastic bed with great service. Jess helped me figure out that a soft mattress was the firmness and we found one that I have no regrets getting. The show room and well organized and clean, everyone I’ve spoken to there has been kind and helpful, and the prices are more than reasonable. When I’ve slept through this mattress in about 8-10 years I will absolutely return to Mattress Firm for its replacement.

I ordered a firm mattress, for a different mattress, I requested an exchange the day after delivery.. and they asked for 10% restocking and $100 delivery fee. Very disappointed !

We’ve had a lot of mediocre and poor customer experiences at various different stores. We went into Mattress Firm expecting little assistance, but we were greeted by a very friendly employee. Jess was absolutely wonderful, we went in thinking we wanted one thing, and left with something totally different. We thought a pillow top mattress would be the softest. When we walked in to this clean store we was immediately greeted by Jessica and ask if she could help us we told her yes we need two new beds which she came and had us first try out the three beds by a wall, one was firm, medium and soft we told her we wanted firm as we both liked.She worked within our budget on beds that we liked and schedule deliver the next day.
