Oh my gosh...you have to take your car here. The owner is the most honest nice guy ever!! He will fix the problem and never over charges and never takes advantage.

Tom was very helpful in diagnosing my unknown electrical issue on my Porsche Boxster. He completed the job in good time and took his time to explain everything thoroughly. He kept the repair within a good budget which was very important to me because when most places see “Porsche”, they overcharge. Germantown service center is very honest and I would recommend this place to anybody after having 2 repairs done on my car.

Quick service, they gave an estimate in advance, and explained the options for repair clearly. Ill probably choose this mechanic again in the future.

I have taken all of our cars to Germantown Service Center for many years. In addition to being an expert mechanic, Tom (the owner) is honest and runs his shop with the highest integrity. He always diagnoses the problem and only does repairs that are actually needed, and only after consulting with the customer. In some cases, he worked with me patiently to help me locate hard-to-find parts. We are very fortunate in Germantown to have such a mechanic.

Just as it is hard to find a good and honest dentist, it is hard to find a good and honest auto mechanic. I have been going to GSC since 1992 when I moved to Germantown. The owner and chief mechanic Tom tells you exactly what is wrong with the vehicle and gives a reliable estimate. This place does a pretty good service, however, their hourly rate is a little bit expensive than some of the other shops I have been to but cheaper than the dealership rates. If you can afford to pay a little bit more for labor and want a piece of mind then this is the place to go.

I was recommended by a friend to go here when he told me what a good auto repair place it was. I was due to get my car oil changed and for few minor issues. I left my car & they said they would call after they check it. By lunch time they called and said it was ready, and yes it was! They were nice and professional. I really paid the same amount for the oil changes as I would have at my regular auto repair center for just an oil change, maybe even less. I will be going here for all my car needs.

GSC is the only auto repair shop in Germantown that I will take my car, which I have done for the past 15 years. Tom is very good at telling you what you need done for your vehicle. He will help you decide what should get done now versus a month from now if you need to disperse the cost of repairs over a few months. Tom will even call around for used car parts if you are looking for a cheaper option.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR INSPECTION!!! They will nit pick every little thing. They failed me bc I didnt have battery hold down. I went to autozone bought 2 different style hold downs and brought it back to them. They refused to pass me saying I had to go buy stock part (which isnt the written law). He told me to go get part and bring it back and he will put in in no problem. I go to dealer and buy part bring it back. They then charge me $20 to put in the 1 screw for the hold down after he told me he would help me outIt was a hassle in general to deal with them. If the inspector wasnt there no one else had any clue as to what was going on.You have all been warned
