We have a KitchenAid. Cooling went out early in the year. Called Speedy and they could fix it but suggested I call Manufacturer since it was under warranty. Very honest.Recently the water feed to the ice maker broke and was leaking. They came the next day, did repair and the cost was much less than expected.Great company. I highly recommend.

Called for service. Received a response immediately. Arrived the same day. Diagnosed the problem with refrigerator (super surge of electric into house due to transformer outside). Ordered the part. Came back in a couple days installed the part and all is good.Ryan was the technician and was extremely knowledgable and efficient.I would definitely recommend for appliance diagnosis and repair.Elaine H.

Expensive. But he fixed the problem. $650 to replace the computer in my General Electric fridge. The part is $250. I should have told the gentleman to go kick rocks after he diagnosed the problem and only pay him for the visit and just did it myself.

Guy always says he will come one day and never comes. I highly recommend not to take this service., it will save you a lot of time. This is the worst service, very slow service, unprofessional. They tell you I will be there tomorrow and don’t come. Dissatisfied with the service. Don’t recommend.

DO NOT USE SPEEDY! THEY ARE THEIVES AND THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORK. I called them to repair my freezer in May 2020. Guy, a repairman from Speedy, came to my home and said it needed Freon and would cost $600. Two days later, I noticed a puddle under the freezer. I called and Guy came back. He examined the freezer and said everything appeared to be in order and didnt notice any leaking and left. The problem continued and, in addition, the freezer started leaving frost on everything. I called Speedy again and I was told by Mark that it sounded as if Guy had used too much Freon. He said hed contact Guy and would have him come back to fix it. Guy never came. I called again and was told the same thing and, again, no one ever came to fix. Since then, the freezer continually leaks leaving puddles on my kitchen floor and everything in my freezer is covered with frost. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM.

This company has a great well experienced tech, Brian!I realized my subzero was not cooling and temperature was continuously warming up!I called the company on a Friday night around 8 pm. The service said someone would get back to me within the hour! Brian calls me 20 minutes later asks me what the problem was! He said he would be at my house in the Hamptons within 12 hours, namely next day, Saturday! He was at my door promptly at 815 am! He trouble shouted the problem right away n fixed it fast! Guy was the tech that came to repair our refrigerator . He will make an appointment but will not keep it or call to cancel. No show Guy promise to come back the next day. At 5:30 when he had not arrived I called the office was told he will be coming on Wednesday between 1 and 3. On Wednesdayat 5:30 I called to find out if he was still coming . He rescheduled and would be coming on Thursday between 10 am to 1 pm. Thursday Guy showed up after 6 pm. No call to notify me he was delayed.He replaced the compressor but said he would be back to replace the light bulb for the freezer. Have not seen or heard from anyone from speedy. The should change their name to delay and disappointappliance repair. Would not recommend .Would not use there service again.

Do not use these people they are robbing people. Less than a month ago Guy came to replace the control panel for my refrigerator. Charge me $400, the refrigerator got worst. Calling for weeks now and no one shows up. Don’t even believe the part was change. So angry that they are robbing people in a time like this.

This service appliance company does not know what they are doing. Last year they installed the wrong part in my Whirlpool refrigerator. They also changed a different part, and I am having the same trouble as before. When I called their service manager, he told me it was the correct part.

I had better than a good experience, I had a great one. And I rarely write reviews bec my time is always tight.Anyways, I had a nasty wiring short in my 28 year old Sub Zero. Im the type that enjoys repairing things, but I kney that I wasnt going to play around with electrical problems. So I reluctantly called the Speedy people.A friendly repair guy named Dean came within an hour. He admittedly was surprised at the damage. The wires and 2 ON-OFF switches had actually melted inside the control panel. It was a mystery why it happened so Dean did a thorough investigation like a detective. Incredibly, the cause was a pin hole leak from the water valve above the refrigerator. The water sprayed a tiny tiny bit of mist right into the hole where the wires connected into the switches.Problem solved; Switches replaced; Wife happy. Loved Speedy.

Dean has been to our house several times helping us keep our 23 year old Sub-Zero running. He’s been very reliable and professional. He’s even cleaned up messes left by other repair company’s shoddy work. Would recommend.

We had a tech come over to fix our fridge and he did. It worked for exactly 2 weeks and then stopped working again. He mentioned there is 1 year warrenty on parts and 30 days on labor. I keep calling the company and either they hang up or say yes hell come to you today and take a look. But Sal or Guy never comes and takes a look. Theyve been stringing me on for 1 week now. After reading the reviews of other people going through the same thing as i am i can confirm they are scammers just stealing peoples money. Do they even use real parts to fix the problem? Are these people even certified?

Speedy Appliance Repair Service has my recommendation for anyone looking for Sears Refrigerator service in Long Island. I called Speedy Appliance Service ( Freeport ) last night after my refrigerator stopped working without any warning. Speedy Appliances sent the technician this morning and had the refrigerator repaired within 2 hours. They had the cables which were malfunctioning in my Sears refrigerator replaced and the unit is now running normally. Thanks Speedy Appliance Service Long Island !

This is not a trusty company they sent their agent KEN to fix my Viking Oven, he presented himself as knowlegable service man after charging me over $1600.00, he could not put back oven door and he drilled the door and damaged the expensive oven for good now the door does not close at all .I called the office very RUDE woman by name of SHAROL did not want to hear my complainusing this company is the biggest mistake any one can make .I am going to take legal action against them .

This company is an ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!BEWARE... the repairman (Carmine) came to our house, told us how great he was 25 years in the business etc. He told us he had to order parts and would get back to us within 2 days. He took $125 and left. Well, after 4 weeks and countless phone calls I was told they cant get the parts and I should call the manufacturer and was hung up on. If there was a way to give a nenegative star I would. TOTAL SCAM OPERATION.

I am absolutely certain that Every positive review for this company is either paid for or done by a family member or employee.These people came to do a repair took a down payment for the part and never showed up again, after numerous attempts to get them to come and do the repair and numerous appointments made with no-shows I am now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also in the process of taking them to small claims court.The fall guy is apparently a technician by the name of the Guy, which I personally think it’s a fake name that they use whenever they know they’re going to take somebody’s money and never go back...If you don’t want to get aggravated to stay away from this company, which I strongly believe is operating on the different aliases also with different phone numbers.

Worst service ever.. LOOK ELSEWHERE.. They do not come when they are supposed to.. Its one excuse after another. Ive been waiting on parts for in-warranty repair and now I am out the money.. No replies to my e-mails (Marco Amiel) and they will not contact LG on my behalf.. Waste of time and money!

I read all of these reviews and had to shake my head . I usually dont leave reviews But the technician that came for my sub zero was extremely knowledgeable and very professional.I believe his name is Jay . He repaired my sub zero and the cost was low . I had two other companies come that couldnt repair it and thats when a family member gave me Speedys #. Ill use them now for all my appliances. Its unfortunate that people only write bad reviews if things didnt go their way . More customers should review companies when they had a good experience.

The technician was professional, courteous and on time. No issues with the service rendered. However, the part for my SubZero was about $15-35. They charged over $350 per (I needed two). To be fair, they told me the price before the work began and I had to say yes because I needed the Subzero to be in working condition before I went on a business trip. Otherwise, I would have done it myself.Im not against companies turning a profit. I understand about distis that are part of the delivery chain, mark ups etc. But 10X differential?They lost a customer for life. I guess I should have read the reviews on here and Yelp.

Unprofessional Company, Broke my refrigerator and is leading me on. After 8 phone conversations, I still cannot get them to come back and fix what they broke. I paid in full and now they are unresponsive. Do not use this company for your repairs!!!
