Our salesman was Tommy. He was awesome. We were so pleased with everyone and I am a happy driver in my 2019 Chevy Cruze. Kim was so nice and hospitable. We were warmly greeted from the moment we drove onto the parking lot until I drove off with my car.

I couldnt ask for a better experience. They whole crew was nice and polite and never pushy. I drove 175 mile round trip and almost 4 hours total to buy my first new truck. The next time I need a new vehicle I will go there first. I also will be making the trip for my first factory service job as well. With nice and fair people you cant go wrong.

We had been in an accident where our car was totaled and we needed a new car that day, as we were 17 hours away from home. Everyone at the dealership that we encountered was truly a blessing. My husband and I had a way better car buying experience here than we’ve had in decades buying a vehicle from anywhere. Very personable and helpful with all questions that I had in sales and finance dept. We were in and out the door in less than 2.5 hours, that was with a test drive. Shout out to Austin and Joanne for staying and helping me finish my transaction after the store closed. I live further away and did not want to drive back the next day to complete it so they stayed to help. Overall would come back here or recommend to purchase from them vs other dealerships or Carmax/Carvana.

Short story, part one: 4/28 took my 2018 Malibu to the service department. We requested the replacement of a light and pull handle located in the trunk. Also, asked them inspect the suspension for an unusual noise.Part two: got my car back from the service department. They replaced the wiper blades, air filter, and cabin filter for $199. We still have a busted light and pull handle in the trunk.The end.

I called to have my vehicle looked at for a clicking sound and a squealing sound. I told the person when I scheduled it I had already replaced the belt the tensioner and the turbo. They told me the inspection would be up to $130 to diagnose the issue and they I would be called when they found out what the cause was with how much it would cost to repair. When I picked the car up the next day I got a bill for $285. I asked why it was so much since I was quoted up to $130 on the phone and was told it was because it took the tech multiple hours to identify the cause. It ended up being two spark plugs had come loose. I’m not certain how you to $130 turned into 285 when the time they spent should have been included in that fee to diagnose the issue. Additionally when I went to drive the car home the quelling sound was still there, but the clicking was gone. I went back in to notify them. They drove it around back then came back with it a few minutes later and told me the cam shaft cover also needed to be replaced, but that it is covered under warranty. So I had to schedule another service to resolve that. In the end I spent $283, $153 more than I was quoted not to have the issues fully diagnosed at pick up.

We were on our way to Fort Walton from Texas when we experienced engine trouble in our 2021 Tahoe. I called them immediately on Monday morning and they told me to get right in even though they were pretty full. Our service advisor Brian was so helpful and understanding. The parts we needed were back ordered, but they had four on hand and were able to get the additional four needed from another dealership since we were stuck without a car in a new town until ours was repaired. We are so thankful for the treatment we received regardless of the fact that we were from 700 miles away and obviously would not be repeat customers. Thank you Preston Hood and Brian Durham!

I have bought 4 Chevy trucks in a row. Theyre comfortable, reliable, and get great gas mileage! The service dept is organized, cheerful and efficient. Oil changes are about $30 less than a quicky place and include tire rotation. Im always out in less than 30 min anyway! Comfy waiting areas with big screen TV, water and snacks!

Freon 1 lb low, ran diagnostic and re-filled. Did not find source of leak, but service dept agreed if it did leak, the diagnostic fee would be waived and the evaporator would be inspected as a next likely culprit. I am concerned over a freon leak on a 2017 car, but the dealers maintenance dept did advise us properly.I consider this fair.

I came in with noisy, scary brakes on a three month old Blazer. The person who helped me was very polite. He said hed call when they were done and just a few hours later, he did. He explained to me that my issue was an existing GM problem that had not been resolved yet, but assured me it was not a safety issue. I picked up my Blazer soon after and he was very polite and helped me out.

Sold me use vehicle I wanted extra Warranty they told me I couldnt . Vehicle had many issues that did not disclaim And when I called about it they told me basically tough luck. Then there was an issue of my down payment and where I try to talk to some to make the payment right they told me to just pay as I was. Then they send a bill collector that Threaten me with jail time .For Listening to them about my down payment over all the worse experiences in my life

I went to Preston Hood Chev for a scheduled oil change and maintenance. I was happily greeted for a service rep and made to feel comfortable in the waiting area. After paying my bill, I proceeded to retrieve my vehicle, which I could not find. Very Professional in every aspect . Very straight forward attention to detail and genuine concern for the service to my 2019 High Country. My service rep immediately conferred with technicians and determined a course of action. The fault was uncommon for 2019 truck. Day of repairs addition issue was discovered and I was informed instantly of need for a second day. No problem as I knew my correct repair was being performed by experts..On day of pickup the shift problem was corrected and they also had detailed washed my truck. This is the second car I have purchased from Preston Hood. Austin Cribbs was my salesman for both vehicles. I expressly called Austin when I was ready to purchase my truck because I was tired of being lied to by other dealers and I knew Austin and Preston Hood would at least be honest and deal with integrity. I wanted a GMC Sierra AT4 and dealt with a Step One Auto Group dealer who lied to me and hid about $12,000 in additional costs. I got so sick of the lack of honesty that I decided to call Austin and see what he could do. He explained that Mr. Hood does not do Market Adjustments and the price he quotes me will be the lowest possible price. I understood that trucks are difficult to come by right now, but Austin did everything he could to let me know as soon as something I would be interested rolled off the truck. I ended up purchasing a Silverado 1500 Trail Boss for far less that what I was prepared to spend for the AT4. I love my truck and I love the fact that Austin and Preston Hood refuse to deal in misinformation, overpricing, and a lack of honesty and integrity. I will not buy a vehicle from another dealer or another salesman as long as I live in this area.

This is the first vehicle I have purchased from Preston Hood. Austen, my salesman was very attentive, took time to answer all my questions, and showed me all the vehicle features. The staff infinance stayed after hours, on a Saturday, to complete my sale. Everyone, including the gentlemen that prepped my vehicle were very professional.

Spencer, who sold me the car, was great, but some other guy named Austin was a condescending know-it-all. Austin was apparently assisting Spencer trying to verify my military retired status by using IDme. However, he said my Medical Retirement does not count as an actual retirement therefore, I am not supppsed to receive a military discount. BUT, he played the heroic salesman, swooped in and gave me the discount anyway despite the service to my country not deserving of their enormous gratuity. On top of all that, my hero set up my Chevrolet account under the wrong name AND with some password that he gives to everyone but didnt have the decency to write it down for me. He would just repeat it real fast and run away like his Ritalin hadnt kicked in yet. He told me three times to just go to the web site and select forgot password. Why am I having to troubleshoot my own account?? Now that my Chevrolet account is under the wrong name, my OnStar account is all messed up too. I tried to correct this error, but im getting all kinds of grief from OnStar. Ill jump through the hoops and get it corrected, but Spencers limited knowledge and inability to assist me in correcting the problem has made this really annoying. He just referred me back to Austin, my hero. I suggest letting the customer set up thier own Chevrolet and OnStar accounts. However, if the salespeople insist on doing it, please let the customer verify thier info before its submitted. I know this is relatively small potatoes compared to the rest of the experience, but this small instance has darkened the total experience at Preston Hood.

Reported a transmission shudder during routine oil change for my 2018 Colorado. Brett in the Service Shop informed me of this known issue and arranged for a follow-up appointment to perform warranty service on the transmission/fluid. He was extremely reassuring in describing the work to be performed in order to correct the issue. A few days after the maintenance and the shudder no longer occurs. Overall outstanding experience.
