Always great selection of good shoes for running, walking, hiking, cross country. Knowledgeable staff able to recommend the best shoes for your personal gait. They rent wetsuits for triathlons (well, before covid) and help with racing packets, promoting races across Colorado.

Just visiting town, needed a pair of cheap sunglasses to run with, and some advice on where I could go running before a conference. They were very helpful, and turned me on to a great spot! Set a 5k pr in the middle of the run, cause it just feels so good here! Could you send the cool, dry air down to Central Texas?! Seriously, they were very friendly and treated me like a local who might actually matter to their business.

Cant say enough about this place. One of the first running stores I visited after moving to Colorado, and definitely the only one that made me feel at home. The staff is super knowledgeable about not only their products, but they gave me some great suggestions for trails and running groups (Runners Roost has a great one!) to check out around town. To me, the atmosphere at the store makes it feel like youre hanging out with family or close friends. I highly recommend!

Overall excellent experience. Being new to town I was curious about local races and I was quickly brought up to speed on how to quickly get involved with local run clubs, races and training routes. Shoe selection was superb and was giving a very thorough rundown of each shoe I had narrowed my selection down to. Also, very much appreciate being greeted with enthusiasm as I entered the door. I ran in with a specific shoe in mind and really didnt like the way it felt around my toes. The saleswoman, Hannah, suggested I try a zero drop shoe and it felt fantastic when I tried it on. She explained the pros and cons of that type of shoe and Runners Roosts exchange policy and I really appreciated her assistance.

Wilson Young, the man, the myth, the legend, was extremely helpful in my shoe buying process at runners roost. He greeted me right away and got me into the Nike Pegasus 36 and within minutes I was the proud owner of new shoes and have been extremely happy with my purchase to this day.

I was very impressed with the RR staff and their attention to detail in recommending shoe options for my wife who has had a bad ankle injury for quite some time. They asked many detailed questions and observed how she walked in various shoes to ensure the fit was not only comfortable, but would help reduce a chance for injury with a common shoe. I recently got some cash to buy a new pair of running shoes - the first real pair that I have ever had. The place was somewhat busy when I got there, so I was expecting it to take a long time to get a pair of shoes, not to mention feeling stressed while shopping - boy was I wrong! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful even while helping multiple customers. One associate helped me evaluate what brand of running shoe would be best by telling me that I have a neutral stance, slightly flat feet, and a large toe box, etc. I quickly had three pairs of shoes in front of me to try, and actually started laughing when I got on the treadmill because of how well they felt. I just had an outstanding first experience at Runners Roost. I recently got back to running after a 25 year hiatus and required some new shoes because of foot/ankle pain. Cory was extremely helpful and knowledge able and after trying and comparing 4 different pairs of shoes I found the perfect fit. He ran tests treadmill tests and allowed me to jog around the block. At the end I was even give a few free Gu packs, a free moisture control shirt, and a pair of gloves at half price. I highly recommend this to anyone that requires running shoes, info, advice, or accessories. Thank you Cory and Runners Roost!

I always look forward to visiting the Runners Roost in Fort Collins. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a great run club on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm. This is a great way to meet other runners and have some fun and socialize.

I had been experiencing knee pain, and after a thorough treadmill analysis as well as some expert opinion on the wear of my current shoes tread, I was put in a pair of asics that have been fantastic. Ive been. Customer of Runners Roost for as long as Ive lived in Fort Collins. They have given me great advice on shoes and accessories. They have a large selection of shoes and if they dont your size or style there they get it quickly. Lots of clothing and gear available too.

Bought my first pair of real running sneakers from here. Loved the service! The salesman was very helpful, and had many suggestions at a range of prices for me. I returned hoping for the same when buying sports apparel. Not so. Not only is there limited selection of sizes but the poster they had showing what they carry in store wasnt even accurate. Im disappointed that a store which caters to runners doesnt carry a much needed variety of sizes in womens apparel. Carry a wider selection of sizes, and you will open your market up to all runners.

Horrible service. My wife and 3 friends went in for the gate test. Nobody would help them. Everyone left and went to Altitude Running and 3 of them purchased shoes. Avoid Runners Roost if you want good service. This bad experience was on January 13, 2018.

I have to give Patrick and the team here a major shout. I walked in oogling the shiny new bikes in the window (every bike shop should do this btw), and was immediately greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very supportive of athletes of any skill level.As a budding cyclist, and in need of gear, Patrick was very helpful and even was willing to let me have a tube on store credit (oldschool version of an IOU). Sure enough Ill be returning because of the trust and support this team has in our local area.I got to talk to him about all sorts of equipment and upgrades that my aging steed shall need in the upcoming miles. I have a CAAD5 RS2000, and he was incredibly knowledgeable.

This is a solid shop, they have special ordered shoes for me and transferred sizes and colors for other locations. They support the local running scene and generally cheerful folks.

I’m in town for the Horsetooth Half and stopped in to visit.Tons of shoes, friendly staff, Nike apparel, and a cycling section. I could see this as a frequent stop if I was living in the area.
