I recently got my phone wet. I kept receiving a message that the phone wouldn’t charge because something was wet. I decided to put my phone in rice.After a while, I went to charge it and the cord wouldn’t connect to anything inside the phone to charge it.The next day, I looked online for a phone repair shop near me. Luckily, I happened upon the Gadget Genie store. I walked in. There were technicians at the ready to help.I ended up working with Chris, I believe. I told him my sad story. He looked at the phone, and said, “I’ll be back in a minute.”About 5 minutes passed and he was back. He had opened my phone and removed a rice kernel. I took my tablet for a screen change. when I picked it up they informed me that it was not charged.I went home charged it, found out that it has no sound and it also works with the cable in place. I called them I was told to take it back when I arrive they informed me that I had to make another order (means pay again) all ready pay four hundred something… they should replace the screen charge it and checked everything possible to be fine before hand it to me .. I give this rookies 0.000 start 0.000 recommendations and 0.000 coming back! very am professional!

I brought my iPhone 6S Plus in, because it had a cracked screen. (Ive had this phone for 7 years.) I mentioned an issue that I could barely hear people when talking on the phone. Turns out, your iPhone may look clean, but its gunky on the inside! Cleaned it out, and now my phone conversations are loud & clear. Home button is snappy and clicks again. No extra charge for cleaning out my phone. $80 to replace screen glass. Fast turnaround. I couldnt be happier! Chris is the best, also :)

Drive over 90 miles as these are the only shop who does micro soldering. I needed my charging port fixed. When I got there the guy was very nice and looked over my phone and found I didnt need to replace my port. I just shoved debree in a fit of frustration and it was really packed in. He got it under a microscope and pulled everything out and it worked! Plus side is he didnt even charge me! Great service, worth the drive honestly to save the money lol. Other shops wouldnt have done that, just charged me and replaced it.

I was greeted right away when I walked in and the super helpful staff person was attentive and ready to help! I brought in my Surface Pro 4 for a non working type cover and blue screen of death when turning the camera on. Set it up to be diagnosed….will continue this once repaired or convinced to buy a new one.Also had an iPhone XR screen replacement done same day! I was told it would be done in 1-1.5 hrs and when I came back in this timeframe it was ready to go! Super helpful staff even stayed a few mins late to see me through my transaction. Totally worth the money when there is nothing wrong with your phone! Screen replacement is guaranteed for life and so is the tempered glass screen protector I purchased. I was referred to Gadget Genie when by my local computer repair place and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!

I went in to get my Nintendo switch repaired and a gentleman by the name of Nate was very helpful, unfortunately it could not be fixed and it was almost the same price as a new switch. He took some money off the new switch for me and he was super friendly, I highly recommend this place.

Hands down the best repair company Ive ever worked with. PERIOD. I had my work phone (a Nexus 5X) repaired by a company in Seattle and it extended its life enough for me to get some, but not all my data before it died again. After taking it to 5 repair shops in Seattle, all of them said my phone was unrepairable for various reasons. Chip off wasnt an option, The data is encrypted and inaccessible, The phones chips have burned and cannot be melded back.I had heard of Gadget Genie and was reluctant to make the drive before, but after I exhausted all options I could find, I took my phone to them and explained the issue. All the staff are highly professional, kind folks who said there was a chance it could be repaired, but that it would take time and be difficult. Joe worked on the phone and after about a week, called me with incredible news. He successfully did a true chip off, without damaging the data, on a donor board 5X which they provided. I couldnt believe it. Everything was intact and accessible. He even backed up the data on a flash drive, just in case something went wrong with the phone. I used my same pin, got in, and backed up the rest of my data. I would trust them to repair any and all of my electronic devices. They are worth the drive and any difference in price. The experience is proof enough. I am forever grateful for these guys and they do. Thanks yall!

I live north of here by 2 hours. I had used another service shop to replace a cracked screen, but due to a family emergency the owner wasn’t able to assist with the warranty replacement. I needed to replace my screen to an IPhone. I did a Google search and up popped Gadget Genie. I use reviews wholeheartedly to help make a valued decision as to where I bring my business and this place had a 4.8 star review out of 5, which is usually a good sign to me. Upon reading the first page of reviews I was sold and didn’t need to go further.I stopped by on a wed. a.m. a little after they opened and Joe greeted me. I told him what I needed and the possibility of water damage. After a consultation Joe started taking it apart. Thank goodness no water damage but my battery needed replacing. I initially didn’t want to spend the extra $ for a battery but chose to since it was already apart. Joe suggested a case and screen protector but again I initially thought I could get it cheaper somewhere else. After reconsidering on the case and screen protector, I went ahead and bought it since time is $. And I needed to protect my phone after getting it fixed.In conclusion, Joe took care of me and finished the job in under an hour! If I ever need my phone repaired I will be back to Gadget Genie and hopefully Joe will be able to take care of me. I’m sure any of the other guys can take care of me but regardless, I will be back. My PS4 Pro spent a month at CPR repair. 75 to just look at it and was told 150 to replace the power supply which may or may not be the problem. Took it to GG. They said if they couldnt fix it or find the problem its free. 3 hours later and 129$ (100$ for hard drive) and it was ready for pickup. Works like new. Ill be back with any electronic repairs I need in the future. Reliable quick service and they wont try and rip you off. What more could you ask for?

Got 3 iPad mini screens repaired in two days, and one was finished in less than an hour. Repair quality looks good. Prices were very competitive and the customer service was great. They even did a quick button re-solder on my keyfob!Unless the screens disintegrate in the next year, highly recommended!

My daughter dropped a little water on my macbook pro 2017 which I bought the brand new one $899 in a promotion . The mouse pad and keyboard stopped working but it was turning on and I could use it with external mouse and keyboard. The system was running and it was completely functional. They called me the next day and their staff told me it is the worst case scenario in liquid damage that he ever seen! I answered that I thought the worst case scenario is when the laptop not turn on at all, but as I knew that liquid damage could be serious in some cases, I didnt argue with him. He told me that keyboard, mouse pad and mainboard should be replace and it will cost $540 with tax. It was exactly the same as cost of the used one but I preferred to keep my own. So I accepted that and they repaired it for me after a week. When I started working with my repaired laptop, I realized some keys are sticky and one key is hard to push ( I didnt have this issue with my ex keyboard so it was obvious that the keyboard is a used one). I called them and started to explain that you got $540 to replace the keyboard, mouse pad and mainboard but the keyboard is used and the keys are not working properly. The representative simply hanged up the phone! I couldnt believe that happened on purpose so I called them again several time, but no one answered my phone! I thought it should be a network issue and waited ten days to hear from them but no one called, so I decided to write this review to warn customers that they are using the used parts to fix your devices and will ask you to pay for the brand new amount.

Nathan waited on us was so very helpful in solving my battery problem.It tested ok but it was not holding a charge. He suggested installing a high capacity battery and so far it has been great. He also installed a new protective cover on my phone, cleaned it up and now it looks like new. This was all done in about a hour. Very please and will recommend them to family and friends.

I went two cell phone repairs shop before going to Gadget Genie. One was located at the Outlet Auburn plaza the repairman there did not even tried to hold the LgV40 that i was asking him to fix it, he just look at me and said that he does not have any parts for the Lgv40. The next day i went to another repair shop inside the Commons mall and was told the same reason. On that same day i went to Gadget Genie repair shop, the repair guy plug in the LgV40 to make sure that i was telling him the problem of the cell phone then he told me that he will order the charging port for it and that it will take not less than 5 days. He told me right there and then the costs of the repair including the labor and of course the costs of the charging port was included already to that amount. It was a reasonable amount knowing that LgV40 phone is to complicated to open(well that is my own opinion after seeing it to “you tube” websites). Guess what? They called me the next day afternoon and send me an email as well telling me that the phone was ready for pick-up. My words are long but to tell you this, those guys from Gadget Genie are very professional, the inside of the store was clean and those guys are very accommodating. Your money is worth when you are looking for a repair shop to have repaired your gadget. I highly recommend Gadget Genie for all your cell phone problems and Lap tops too.👌🏼👍

Based on the damaged my daughter did on her screen I wasnt getting my hopes up that the phone would be fixable but they did an amazing job here.. they didnt have my screen when I got there but were able to order it and called me the very next morning ready for the phone. Took abt 2 hours for them to replace it. My daughter leaves out of state in 2 days and it was crucial we got it fixed before she left. We were so happy they could help us on such short notice!! I’ll never go anywhere else for repairs! I’ve gone here twice for to separate devices and they were so friendly, and efficient. Yesterday I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen at 12:30. I arrived at their store just after 1pm, went and had coffee, came back at 2 and it was ready. I was still plenty early to pick up my kids from school in Bonney Lake at 3. The gentleman that helped me (I didn’t get his name) gave me a great discount which really, REALLY helped me out! Will recommend and continue to go here!
