The mall is convenient for me because its near my residence. The food court options could improve.

We used to shop here many moons ago when it was an opened strip mall. Shortly after it was in closed we moved out of the area. It always had a good selection of stores, eateries and jewelry stores. We were surprised and sad to see the Sears store was closing (we thought they were all closed last year). But like all malls attendance is down so I hope if you have a chance swing by and do your Christmas shopping there. I hate to lose this place, we’ll be coming back to do ours. 👍🏼

Stonewood mall the stores are some of the stores are closing the smaller ones at least get in there and start shopping lets keep them all alive be safe when you are shopping.

Old school mall with some big name stores and good independent shops as well. Good for low key browsing and bargain hunting. No frills but convenient.

Stonewood Center is a necessary hub for a thriving community. There are a variety of businesses pertinent to this little metropolis. I frequently patronize several businesses in this diverse panorama of south gate. Close proximity to all these facilities in the area a shoppers paradise, not to mention a very family oriented atmosphere/environment.

This mall is in smaller side but had good variety of stores

This center is my favorite one. I get my watches repaired here and the tasty food is awesome. Food fun and fashion... The mall has it all.

As of 09/14/21, indoor shopping is going on. Masks are required. Great place to take kids, (if you have any). Theres practically every type of store a person would need.

Great place to shop. Friendly Greeters, everyone wearing masks, the Mall is nicely organized with directories allover so you wont get lost. Love to come shopping here!!!

I spend around $300 at Macys... the employees who help me choose for me to get 15% off, I have a 25% coupon on my hand and they said I couldnt use it, I told them that I needed to use my coupon, but they denied me again. And of course is because Iam not suppose to use 2 coupons at once, but still they DID NOT WANTED TO HELP ME!!! they saidthe computer doesnt take it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They just DID NOT WANTED TO DO IT!THEY WERE NOT EVEN BUSY!!NOBODY WAS ON THE LINE, BUT ME!!SOOOOO. UPSETTING!!!

Even though this mall is smaller than the one in Cerritos. It is closer to me.Came to kohls for an Amazon return.There was a line. But moved quick enough.Found the some new books for my baby to read.Less than 30 minutes.

Big mall has everything. Macy, jcp, etc... been there several times and I still dont think I have seen the entire mall 😕

Great mall. The only reason I gave it four stars is because its not anything huge or amazing; nor is it two stories. However, its still a good mall overall. Lots of places to shop and eat.

Downey mall is very clean and theres many department store to shop from. Theres a Jc Penny, Macys, Sears etc... You can almost find any name brand here. The shopping center has clean restrooms available.Theres plenty of parking spaces available, but it can get crowded on the weekens.Theres a food court with different restaurants choice. This place is perfect to bring the family for some shopping.

Bouncing Fun Lan is next to Sears. Its best park behind the mall. It takes way too long to park in the front is best just to go around the back. Remember theres no restroom in this place. The closest one will be at Sears. 1 hour will definitely tired your kids up. And be aware that they dont allow shoes on kids or adults when youre playing around the area. FYI. The picture with the plaited floor blue and red is the new pictures of the place. (Red and Blue floor. how it looks now)

Its aight. Sux that its just one floor all around. But they got good stores. Need more options at the food court and better Air Conditioning

That whole parking lot needs to be repaved... Condition looks almost abandoned.Mall is fine inside...just dont feel like off-roading after shopping sometimes

I have been coming to Stonewood mall for years. Its one of my go-to malls. There are plenty of places to shop, and even if I dont buy anything I still feel happy I came. It is a nice place to walk and hangout for the afternoon.

Its nice to be at a place where you get plenty of choices to shop at, a pleasant and clean environment, and watch kids of all ages enjoying themselves.

Lots of stores and still has that vintage mall feel.

I didnt go in the mall. We went in to Jcpenny. The store was nice and clean.

Same building, same distribution same everything in the last 40 years... Time to change or time to close, boring, old smell, to much 70s.... No way.

I went to the bouncy land inside the mall and now I was amazed that they had ball pits and a bunch of jumpers for the kids... the prize is actually not bad however I believe 1hr or less should be enough I got the all day pass and well the kids get bored... they should change the jumpers to obstacle course jumpers, and maybe 1 or 2 games for them besides basketball. Im sure theres a few low cost ideas they could implement. Overall great idea and helps tire they kids would recommend as a last thing to do since its tiring for the little ones.

Prior Covid19 the whole mall was a happy place were it was a pleasure interacting to each other without mask or having distances between each other. I was unable to enter the mall was closed. Thank you Stonewood center. 😀 the best is coming pretty soon.

Fun but not worth it. Mask mandate for LA county being completely ignored. They have signs confirming vaccinated or not, YOU MUST WEAR A MASK, but NO ONE is actually enforcing it. Areas meant for kids, many who arent vaccinated due to age requirements, should not be surrounded by irresponsible adults who wont wear their masks. Sons second big day out since the pandemic start, and we werent able to relax at all. I get it, it is hot, that is not an excuse to put others at risk. Any and everything that was kid related had maskless people around it. Not children, but grown people. If it is your stores policy, then I have the right to expect you to uphold it. It would of been a five star rating had this been 2 years ago. Im stressed worrying about what my child may have been exposed to, even though we sanitized frequently. It is eating me up, and I regretted going. The staff is friendly, the entertainment.... Spot on. The health and safety of their guest, not being taking seriously. Which to me, is a HUGE part of the experience. Wish we could go back in time when kids were allowed to just be kids.

This is the only place I go to to buy my clothes. It is well maintain and very clean inside out. Every store you walk into the personality of everyone is extremely good. I would recommend checking out the food area. My favorite is the Teryaki Chicken. The security officers are also great.

1st time here. Rolled in to get some sees candy. Didnt walk the whole mall but they had some solid eateries here, an Acapulco!

One of the best malls Ive ever been to. My Family got these amazing Corn Dogs and I visited Hot Topic, Vans, Zumiez, Spencers, and much more.

My son loves the Bouncing Fun Land inside this mall. They have 5 different jumpers and other small activities for the kids. I definitely recommend it.

Acapulco Restaurant was excellent, our food and service was too notch all the way. No Complaints.

A nice mall but the restroom have been a big issue the last two times I been there. The men’s room are closed by the food court and the only other restroom available are across the other side of the mall and are very dirty so-called individual family restrooms.

Stonework was ok. There was plenty parking but forever 21 and Victoria Secret where to small.

I love going here for Khols. There is always tons of parking. There are a lot of stores and ways to enter so you dont get stuck in a crowd at the door.

Ehhh...hadnt been there in many years. The attendants at Sephora are RUDE! Was going 2 get makeup and a fragrance, but changed my mind and went to Macys instead. Hard to find a working Ladies room without going on a TREK. Most inconvenient when its hot out and ur staying hydrated. Macys was GREAT. Attentive, polite and friendly service. Will return there, but NOT Sephora.

Very nice mall, most of the stores, booth and restaurants are open. Only a few stores requires to stay in line before enter.

Today I went to Stonewood mall. I noticed a few people walking in to stores without a mask. Everyone is still required to wear one because of Covid. Why does none of the employees say to put on a mask if the store has signs that we still need to wear them for everyone else’s safety including children. I went into Hot topic I spoke to one of the employees and they said they can’t do anything about telling someone to put a mask on. That’s a lie. People can still get sick. So why risk the customers safety. I’m saying this because I work with a lot of people as well and in a company by the union.

Usually, i would give the customer service a little more stars, but the team member that holds the line to enter and the one that assisted me with underwear area were very helpful. I didnt have their names. The cashier seemed like she was rushing me, i was not comfortable with my transaction. I was asking her about my pink app perks, and automatically tells me my puchase didnt qualify for it.

This place has a lot of history. I have memories of it before it was enclosed.

You have all in one building

Its pretty packed so if you have people close to you sensitive to covid I would not enter. I was randomly and very closely followed around by a tahoe for several minutes and only saw one security patrol before that happened. That said, the inside experience is mostly what youd expect any other day visiting this place.

Kohls experience was positive, staff, customers still social distancing, wearing masks, too soon to use dressing rooms, so keep receipts for easy exchanges, convenient place for Amazon returns, apreciat professional, friendly service need more of this in other stores. Thanks Kohl staff.

As everything is starting to open back up the malls are seeing more foot traffic. Its nice to see things getting back to normal. I dont like the fact that if I buy a pretzel or a Cinnabon I can eat it in the mall. Per Covid-19 guidelines. Hopefully this changes soon.

My car ran out of gas at night here while I was following a friend home. I left it here over night and to my surprise it was still there around 11am when I returned. Thankful they didnt tow it bummed no one stole it... Mama needs a new car 😂

It was probably 2019 since I saw this place. The food court looked empty being they were forced or chosen to remove all the seats due to the times were living in. Will say though still decently good choices.Was caught a little by surprise to see some of the stores that I remembered had lost their spot. Very minimal island booths.Still, a cool spot to hang out for shopping the new layout was easy to stroll through. Cinnabon still there and many other familiar trends and top business names that are familiar are still there and so If you feel comfortable going out give them a visit and give them some business. When able to go that way again Im definitely will return.Update: April -May 2021 the food court has reopened the sitting down to dine inside. Although scattered to insure ”distance rule. Indoor seats are back.

Had Dinner at Acapulcos in Downey located at the Stonewood Center. We ordered the Crab n Shrimp Enchiladas n Steak n Checken Fijatas. Food was hot and delicious. Service was great and friendly. Highly recommend coming in before 5pm to avoid the crowd. Great Happy Hour between 4pm and 8pm.
