The cashier that assisted my mother and I today kept rolling her eyes every time we asked a question pertaining our purchase. She pretended not to speak Spanish and kept me translating just so at the end she can reply in Spanish… she didn’t have her badge with name but I know exactly how she looks if I had to pinpoint her to management . She kept rushing the purchase, very unprofessional.

I walked in through the salon entrance. Needed to use the ladies room ( I had just gotten off work). Only to be stopped by a gal named Mia stating I couldn’t use the restroom. I had to go downstairs. Restroom was not out of order. She just didn’t want anyone using it. Very disappointed, I just needed a quick lipstick form Sephora and left very upset.

Personnel are friendly and courteous and always with a smile to share with Customers and the public alike 😁.

I was on a mission to buy some nice shoes that were a little dressy. JCPENNEY was my final location to look and they came through. Good selection with decent prices.

Nice clean store at Stonewood Mall with one stop shopping with JCP.com pickup, you can schedule a eye and hair appointment with plenty of parking. Sephoras makeup, fine jewelry as well as home decor areas.

I remember visiting this location and buying a few articles of clothing that i was looking for. the only downside was that the shoe section was extremely messy with boxes all over the place and shoes out of boxes as well. the staff in that area shouldnt have let it get that bad. id return again though as the parking lot is pretty big for the shopping center.

They wouldnt accept my Sephora gift card,in their Sephora shop,but they have been accepted at the Arcadia JCPenney,new hires need better training,thanks for nothing!

It look like it was closing. Downstairs in the womens apparel, it was a mess. Upstairs, there were racks of clothes on sale.

I walked in to do some last minute jewelry shopping, I walked up to the counter and was greeted by April the manager. She gave me her undivided attention and provided exceptional customer service. I commend Jcpenney for selecting her as a manager she is a great asset to the company!

Social distancing requirements implemented and able to pay in less than 10 minutes. Have seen a great improvement on many different brands. Mens shoes are also very much improved. Shop here now, as much as other department stores. Great upgrade.

It was great, found what I was looking for, my wife and daughter had I lot of fun shopping too!

Went today and it was empty. I didnt like that there was one long line to check out and there was just one cashier. Then later a second one came to help with the line. But of the goal is to have less people in the store...then there should be more people to check people out. But anyways. The place was clean and organized.

Walked in wanting to purchase a stove and refrigerator. I signaled the sales clerk and instead she helped other customers and when I approached her she was a bit rude and stated that she did not see me when I asked for assistance. So we walked out and were taking our business elsewhere.

Appreciate that they still have a small section for big & tall clothing.Forgot that it was down stairs was little difficult to find an available employee not occupied. Overall theyre ok. And an familiar name to go to.Will I return? Sure might be a rare choice but surely indeed will visit again.

Great place to shop for clothes but customer service needs a little improvement there was no sort of welcoming into the store or any sort of knowledge till I checked out I understand covid is a concern but more now than ever to feel welcomed back into a business your giving your money to wouldnt hurt other than that great clothing choices

Salomon is one of the best workers I have ever met, the man is insane. Pre Covid he would man two registers at the same time. He has impeccable customer service skills and is swift like a ninja. Majestic when he moves. Wow. This man deserves the best and higher pay

Worst experience at JCPENNY I went with my mom to the jewelry department, there was very bad customer service with Lorri and Georgia. They were both very bitter and unwelcoming . I must say that if employees aren’t happy with where they work the company should give someone else an opportunity to work there . A lot of unprofessional work there and it’s not the first time it has happened . Never going back for sure . It’s a waste of time to have them call you back and the product I sent to be fixed they never did .

I found most of my Christmas gifts here including toys for the kids to sports apparel at fantastic sale prices.

JCP is having alot of sales, I am not sure if it is because they will be closing, but I bought three outfits and a pair of sandals with $70. Plus the discounts with the coupons I found online, I ended up paying $43.00

I been shopping at JC Penney for many years, at least 50 years now, time ago by fast, very clean shopping mall!!!

Really helpful people working here. I spent a hard time finding my shoe size and the very nice young man made several trips to make every effort to find them. When I checked out, the sales clerk helped me find every discount available, she helped me save 40% on my purchases. I signed up for their credit card because I plan to revisit this location more.

This is a very nice store. Great prices and huge selection of clothes, shoes,jewelry, perfume and colognes . They have a lot of sports attire . Home appliances big and small. There things on clearance that are really great prices. Not many people on the floor to help but I found the associates were friendly and attentive. Make sure you look for the sales.

Eli in the Boys/Mens Department was amazing! I dont think Ive ever been treated so courteously and his customer service is beyond compare!! The gifts he helped me find/purchase were a hit!!

I like JCPenny, dont get me wrong but today, I couldnt give them 5 stars. I walked around the entire bottom floor looking for a cashier, none were open. Had to go up the escalator and to the mens section carrying a heavy toaster oven. No carts, no assistance. I almost left it.

Theres no one around to ask for help, I went customer service looking for a cashier and the worker told me we usually dont ring up customers here, but since your here Ill help you I told her I was simply looking for a cashier in the shoe department but there was not one single person around, I saw this elderly lady with a cane sitting in the shoe department and she said are you looking for a cashier too, I said yes after I got run up I ran into her again and I told her she had to go to the womens department o felt so bad for her. And to think I use to work a this store way back on the days.

Shes been there for a long time and every time I go in to shop she always has a smile on her face shes very helpful. I give her 100% we need more people like her who are kind and likes working at this JCPenney in Downey she makes the experience so much better.❤️now the managers hire any kid from high school that dont want to take the time to work with you and they think they know it all. And thats the BAD part!!

Its was okay, the one thing I didnt like about this location is most registers were closed, I was told due to budget cuts. So the registers that were open the lines were pretty long since so few were open.

Pennys dept. Is bomb.Has so much good stuff on sale, wow. For kicking it upper rank stuff. Nice suits, seeaters the cool is coming, fall should be here. Check out the tops, pants galore!! Good customer service. Lines were long they have good system. Good overall experience.

I was able to purchase 3 throw rugs that were originally $75.00 a piece approximately, but were reduced to $25.00 per rug, then because of a further reduction each rug ended up being approximately $17.00 a piece. Great savings, Right???? I was able to do this with the kind and patient assistance of Milton, who was working on the bottom floor at the Stonewood Mall in Downey, CA. I hope JC Penney recognizes how good an ambassador Milton is on behalf of the company. It was pleasant doing business with him today.

Went to the JCP at the Stonewood Center and was greeted at the door by a very friendly young man named Reuben. Was shopping in the mens dept with my son and he continued to be very helpful while we were there. Its nice to go to a store and receive nothing but smiles...good job Reuben!

I went at night and the store was very organized theres always online coupons to find easily for 15% off. The customer lines to pay always move really fast. Most of the time they carry their online merchandise in store, which is always a plus.

This place always has good clothes but not enough help. But good place to shop.
