The experience was not bad. But when they come on the intercom and say customers should wear masks and store associates also. But you look around and the employee arent wearing masks.It also sad to see the store is in need of stocking and employees scrolling on their phones or laughing loud and joking instead of working.Two young women were suppose to stock produce but they were either scrolling on their phones or eating. I observe one young lady take product off the shelf, fruit to be exact and then went to get the seasoning you put on the fruit, opened it and begin to use it. Does Kroger employees get free food?My problem is when the stores show losses, its billed back to the consumer. I am ashamed that some people dont understand the morals and ethics you need in a job no matter what you do.If you look closely you can see the product in one of the young ladies hand.

8/16/21 around 1:30pm I visited your store to buy produce, I had to go to another store, because your green vegetable looked horrible. Shamefully horrible.

The worst Kroger in America, the majority of the carts wheels were locked. Floors were filthy, smelled horrible and it was only one check out register available. I should’ve known that the store was below average when I saw the sneakers abandoned in the parking lot.

This store is awful, I promise that if you make a grocery list they will be out of at least two things you need every time. The kicker is, those things wont be back in stock for 3-5 weeks at least (and it has been this way for years). Also if I had a dollar for every moldy, rotten, fly covered piece of produce I have seen sitting out for sale I would be able to buy this location.The pharmacy is somehow even worse, constantly messing up prescriptions, not filling things on time, giving incorrect amounts of medication, and lying to you about what they have done/are doing to rectify issues. This isnt ordering a cake and them getting it woefully wrong, it is medication! Theyre going to kill someone if they dont get shut down first!I usually like Kroger, but this is hands down the worst stocked, most poorly run location I have ever been to.

This Krogers has gone downhill I have lived in this area from over 25 years and this store used to be so clear and offered a better variety of products. Now it offers low quality products and not a good variety. I do not shop at it much I will run into it very seldom to pick up 2 or 3 items.

My family member went to purchase a cake for a birthday. The employee over in the bakery by name of Lisa seemed to be having a bad day. Her attitude was horrible and seemed as if she didn’t want to do her job. The cake we needed was simple and it was misspelled “Hapy Birlhday”. Will not be returning for future shopping.

This has got to be the slowest Krogers Ive ever been to I came in to get a money order and I been standing in line for an hour Im going somewhere else

I shop here for years and I was good customer and until today I was stop by a store cashier who monitors the computers and she accuse me of stealing and look through my receipts for a min and I never experience this and won’t be returning to this store and she was rude and they don’t have a manager on duty !!! Will be sending this complaint to corporate office why would I steal if I have 5 credit cards with cash in it!!! Mmmmm this is discrimination!!

I had my grandson birthday cake made here never have I been so disappointed in Kroger’s bakery department the icing was not smooth and the boarderWas two different design the writing was sloppy andthe picture I gave them to put on the cake was photo copied and they just laid the paper on the cake and to top it off they gave the cake to my niece in a card board box not a cake box a brown card board box I was I knew how to add a picture of this cake my heartIs broken I don’t know if I will ever let them make another cake for me again

Everytime i order groceries they call me 1 min before the start of pick up to tell me they are 2 hours behind... im driving to Dallas or mesquite next time

This location used to be my favorite but now I have to check my receipt EVERY TIME because the sale items never show up correctly and Im constantly being over charged. Their solution is to call a 1-800 number or get back in the customer service line which adds an additional 15 minutes to my trip. I can see one time being a mistake, but every time feels like a scam. I can see a class action lawsuit in their future

Been coming here once in a while over the past couple years.....the store is getting worse and worse every time we go....cant tell the workers apart from the customers.... some workers are really immature running around in the store just its not a work place....and the store smells like old rotten fish in the back....we will not be shopping here anymore.....

Customer service!!!! This is something Kroger employees do not understand. RUDE is what you get at Desoto Kroger. Meat department is just as bad. I want few pounds of fresh shrimp and the tall individual told me to get a bag of frozen ones, all because hes lazy. People go elsewhere but Desoto Kroger.

I came in store on Sunday to purchase flowers for my grandma’s birthday. I wanted roses but due to the current circumstances none were in stock. The florist clerk went beyond measures to create a beautifully wrapped bouquet. My grandma loved her flowers.

I really enjoy going to this Kroger in Desoto, tx. This is the closest Kroger to me so i have been going for a while. Recently there has been an upgrade to the store to a more healthy concept. There are a lot more fresh veggies, meats, vegan, organic, and gluten free items. The new look reminds me of central market and whole foods. There are weekly deals available and also online coupons. I recommend that you download the app online coupons and use your Kroger card every time you shop to get the best deals. In the mini brownie bites that are chocolate fudge with walnuts or so delicious, they are so chewy and delicious over in the bakery area. You will buy them and then look down at them to make sure this is what youre eating because its unbelievable!

Krogers third party vendor, Instacart, steals your groceries and they add more items to your cart. Thieves!!!! Do not use Instacart. Buy your groceries yourself in person. I guess they dont do background checks on people.

My wife ordered groceries yesterday. They were picked up by our neighbor items totaling $27.35. is missing! Finally Alicia picks up thephone did not ask for any info. No apology at all. Stated we will get credited and just hung up!! my family is quarantined.disgusted

Its an alright store. Was a lot better but they will close multiple lines with a full store while looking right at you.Family packs are packed for individuals and if you ask about it, well good luck.Has potential to be better again but that will only happen if motivated.Some of the younger workers are in love with themselves and think their name is Kroger. They forget they are at work and no one wants their opinions of customers. They get real familiar with you quickly and forget themselves. Ive seen them hush customers and talk over them. Some are good workers but the ones that are not, really stick out.

I had such a delightful experience today at Kroger. I’ve been recently handicapped by a medical condition and today I had my newly adopted nephew with me who’s only two years old and it has been a challenge just not having normal mobility. Today I was riding my cart to my truck and a concerned man was going to assist me with my groceries, but surprisingly a young gentleman that was gathering the baskets helped me. He was a breath of fresh air this day and age, clean cut, mannerable, and respectful. Elijah is his name and I just wanted to thank him for such great customer service!I highly recommend this Kroger!

Always some good sales as long as you went online first and got your digital coupons and made your buy 5 save $5 list. And expect an item or two to be sold out so your 5 for 5 list needs a substitution...ugh... Mostly I need help loading groceries in the car. Not a huge fan of the self checkouts. The register talks, constantly demanding that you scan the item before bagging it and the girl in charge is in high demand from the 6-8 registers, keeps her busy!

I came to take advantage of the sale on Oreos.

Their is only 1 line at self- checkout, not 2. But these impatient, rude, selfish ladies decided to make their own line so they could cut in front of everybody else. Once the customers got into because 2 separate ladies cut, the cashier let them keep their fake new line.

The store is clean. On this particular trip I was looking for a bag of frozen Stew Veggies (ones with celery, carrots, potatoes and pearl onions) which is not so easy to find. I find other kinds of soup/stew blend in walmart but not this specific blend. So glad Kroger carries this, so I can make my desired dishes.

I have shopped at this store for years. Lately due to my busy schedule, I have been trying the online ordering and pick up service. Typically, things have been generally okay until today. I called to pickup my order during the designated pickup time and they hung up on me three times then when I went inside to personally get my order I was informed they cancelled it. Now being in business management and operations, I would be highly upset to find out one, possibly more, of my store locations was cancelling orders. Bottom line that is affecting the companys revenue. My order today may have been only one but it makes you think how many orders have they been cancelling. This is especially considering all the money spent on marketing and advertising for Kroger online shopping, Click List and Instacart, not to mention, the wages paid to employees to handle these services. The store was not busy at the time and many employees were standing around having personal conversations. In addition, this store is becoming synonymous with unstocked shelves and/or being out of merchandise. Customers are being forced to go to competitors, such as Wal-Mart, located five minutes away, who are providing the same services, at more affordable prices. The overall customer service manager, store manager and district manager are dropping the ball by not monitoring the store operations and its employees more closely.

This was my first time shopping at this K-Roger and I had a gentleman help me to find the yogurt covered raisins and the young lady who worked the self-checkout was very helpful as well. Everyone was very productive restocking shelves as I walked through getting vegetables for my guinea pig and lunch for myself.

5 star bakery. Ordered my son a whipped icing marble cake spray painted. Cake was super moist and good. Oh and I came all the way from Mesquite just because this bakery is always on point

The General Manager was acknowledging as many customers as he possibly could, while politely directing employees. It was a very refreshing experience! Great job!

This location has room for improvement in cleanliness and keeping produce stocked. While in the freezer section, I could smell the meat section. Im still hoping that it was just an off-day...

I only went to the Money Center, but the store was very well-kept and the staff were decent.

I have always received great service here. One time I purchased some very tough chicken breasts that were extremely hard to chew. I contacted the manager and informed him that the quality of the meat was not what I was used to and that I had cooked the entire package already. To prove that I wasnt lying, I even offered to bring him the cooked chicken so he could see how tough it was. He readily offered me a brand new package of chicken breasts with no hassle. I appreciated that, because he could have treated me as though I had made it all up. I have had no other issues with the meat department. I LOVE my Kroger!

This location has drastically changed for the worst. Cashiers (most ) are never friendly, store looks dingy with low lighting.Now they have only one entrance/exit door.Produce is trash. Never have enough help to help with taking your groceries out. I live in Desoto and choose to bypass this store & shop elsewhere. Very disappointing shopping experience. Each time I make the mistake & shop at this Kroger I quickly remember why I stopped.

Service not great. Teenagers work there and provide no assistance. Heard more about their personal issues as I was being checked out.The selection of items was good. Thats why I have it 3 stars.

This is not the cleanest store I have ever been to. The urinal in mens room was literally overflowing onto the floor. However, the staff and checkout people are very friendly and helpful.

Never have enough cashiers. Its usually just one or two lanes open and the self checkout line. When the cashier call for more cashiers to come to the front for help no one shows up. They need help or the general manager need to do better at scheduling during the peak times of shopping.

Came in the store Saturday evening to picked up my items to purchase and all the registers was not working properly the items was not ringing up right. No rigisters machines was taking debit or credit cards the cashier swiped my card 4 times and it did not go through I had to go and get cash to pay for my items I looked on my bank card and you charge me $20.60 now I have to come back to get the debit off my bank card too much trouble.

Was just close to where I was... not the best Kroger I have seen. But somewhat organized... well to each its own preference...

This is worse Kroger store I had never visit! I am been standing here at customer service over 20 min and I have 5 clients in front of me a 10 behind me ! With only one customer service employee, how long will take to serve all of us and more still coming! That is why I love Walmart!!

This is my grocery food and Market store its the way its always clean fresh vegetables real nice cuts of meat very good Deli and a good place to get your cakes for birthdays very tasty I would rate this Krogers the best in this area Im there at least once or twice a week prices are very compatible management very friendly and courteous a great grocery store

The bathroom here was worse than a filthy truck stop. I was shocked to walk in and walk right out. I was going to take pictures but decided not to ruin anyones day. It appears to have been in that condition for some time so I am sure management is aware of it.I will not be returning to that location. If they do not care about what the public sees, I cant imagine what happens behind the scene.

I experienced the lowest of the low customer service at the self check out cash register. Not because of the items I purchased but, because the stand by/ desk lady. This lady was the rudest!!! She asked me all kinds of questions, not pertaining her job subscription. Insult after insult. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional, I definitely wont be returning. Lady deserves to be fired !! This was around six thirty pm. African American, short to bald hair lady. Large aboarding heavyset lady. Look back on camera! I know this will get to store manager!!

The whole meat section theres a terrible waste of my time to come in the store.. packages were open.. the meat selection was terrible... Need to have more variety and bigger cuts.. walked out and went to Walmart.. please bring back your cashers!!

Rotten or spoiled produce. Lettuce is always brown. Rotting fruit left. In dairy section, yogurts and other things are out of date. I’ve been going there 20 years and it’s getting worse.

They have a new customer service lead Patrick from another store and henis the worst that I have ever seen. He does not want to listen but wants to throw his authority around as if he is the store manager. He has forgotten that you should take care of the customer and resolve Krogers issue later and not in front of the customers.. The front end staff need TRAINING bad especially the new staff and some old staff. Literally hate dealing with them.

My receipt says my cashiers name is Jataya. Not sure because her name tag was turned around. I had to wait on her to finish her conversation to check me. She did not greet me even after me greeting her. She didnt even ask for my Kroger card. She just looked at me when it was time to pay and handed me my receipt. The cashier in the lane next to her spoke with me and was friendly. Rude and unprofessional. Maybe if I hadnt worked all day and spent an hour in traffic, I would let it slide but this was ridiculous.

Our company orderd 900 pcs of chicken from their Deli last month and the lady named Kristina and the rest of the Deli crew were all nice and their customer service is great.

I loved the Vive there the lady at the register took care of me.... Send me to the right people to take care of my problem excellent customer service....

Im a regular customer at this location and rarely have any problems. The one or two incidents I have had, store managers handled and resolved very promptly.

Staff is always willing to help and they know where the products are in the store.

My family and I have been visiting this location for over 7 years and have NEVER taken anything without paying. But, Ill be recording my visits, blogging them and contacting corporate about this.
