I had over $1,700 worth of electronics stolen from my unit. DO NOT lease from this place. Anybody and their mother (or somebody wandering Colfax) can walk right into the building. It is worth the drive and money to go to a legitimate business. Learn from my mistake!!!

The bad reviews are most likely from the area in which the facility is located. It isn’t in the nicest part of town, but the building and parking lot are safe. I had a unit here for a while and the customer service was awesome. Everyone was friendly and I could not have been happier. Highly recommended.

Awesome employees. The old elevator stopped working today. Had to walk down 6floors with bike. Nobodys fault. Just old.

This is one of Several times I have showed up and they are either closed early or not open on time. It is currently 10:23 and they are to open at 10:00 am. No one is here and the door is locked. Only giving 2 stars because the facility is decent and clean. None of that matters is you cannot access your belongings.

I cannot wait to move my things out of here. I have had nothing but issues since day one. They have no option to pay online. They make you write your credit card info down for a monthly charge. Then call you every month because theyre credit system doesnt work. Then your stuff is locked or they are calling saying that your stuff is going to be up for auction because theyre system doesnt work. They have removed the late fees at times which I appreciate but the the fees wouldnt be assessed in the first place if they would fix the system. Dont even get me started about the freight elevator. Aghh...thats all I can write.

Secure storage, helpful staff, good pricing. Ive had a unit at the Storage Castle for about two years and have had zero issues, the building is incredibly secure and easy to access during business hours. The loading dock is convenient and they have carts you can borrow that make getting your items into the MASSIVE freight escalator and up to your unit easy as pie.

I had a unit at CDS for over 5 years because of the people there, easy parking and accessibility. The rent is less than other places. But more importantly, its very secure. The surveillance cameras and electronic monitoring of each unit prevents theft, along with the heavy duty steel doors. The Castle is a unique building in a nice part of mid-town right near City Park with restaurants, cafes, stage and movie theaters, boutiques and the wonderful Tattered Cover Book Store. The place is always neat, clean and rodent free. If I were to need storage space again, Id go back to CDS. It really is because of the people there. Seeing the same people gave me an additional sense that my things were safe.

Greatest customer care I have ever experienced! Not the most modern-day storage facility, although the management is over the top!!! Secure your property and rest worry-free.

I rented with them for 2 years and I got a great value. It is what it is but I have had a positive experience overall, for sure.

Be sure to measure your unit before taking it. I rented a 10 x 15, bought storage shelving to fit the space, then found out it was actually 11 x 13. And the response was, too bad, so sad, do you want to move out? And BTW, no refund, not even a pro-rated one. Manager said this has happened before, but the owner doesnt care.
