Great place to grab a quick meal if youre in a rush

Last Tuesday I decided to stop by the store to get a rotisserie chicken after work, so around 5 pm I went into the store and they didn’t have any. I saw they are baking some and the timer showed 5 more min. of baking time. I asked one of the employees when the chickens will be ready fo sale and she told me to come back in 10 min, so I did. They were starting to put the chickens in plastic bags somewhere in the back, so I keep waiting. Meanwhile I decided to get something from the deli, so I ordered 1/2 pound smoked mozzarella. There were three people including me, waiting. Meanwhile, some guy comes and asks who is last. I’m staying there waiting and it’s 20 min. already. The two people behind the counter are super slow. At some point, the old guy I ordered from brings me a container with smoked mozzarella pasta salad. I told him I ordered the cheese, not the salad. He goes back slowly. The guy who came last is becoming inpatient… After few minutes the woman behind the counter came to me and I told her that I got my order, but I asked her when the chickens will be ready, as I’m waiting 30 min already. She goes to ask. And then, the last customer, who apparently haven’t been helped, starts screaming at me, becoming red in the face, how it’s his turn and I’m ordering. I said twice that I’m so sorry, but I didn’t know he hasn’t been helped, but he keeps screaming at me! Then the guy who packed the chicken comes and I ask him for a chicken, lemon herb - they don’t have this one ( of course, it’s on sale for $5 that day and in the Deerfield Whole foods they never have what’s on sale) At this point I said, just bring what you have. I’ve been waiting for 40 min for the f…..g chicken already. He brings me an organic one, that’s $10 and it’s the size of a pigeon. What a joke. I don’t think I’ll shop in that store anymore. It’s old, customer service is bad experience and the employees there are not happy people.

The food is always fresh, and the store is well-stocked. This is a fantastic selection.

1) Stopped by the store to buy honey cake for the Jewish holidays.The cake was soooo dry and hardish. For $6.99, I suggest checking howfresh are the cakes. Lilly’s baking company “handcrafted honey cake” - very poor.2) I was told that you remove the hot croissants by noon. Well at 2:30 pm,you still had the leek ones up. They were somewhat dry but edible.3) Labor Day / Jewish Holiday and not enough cashiers?!Thank you

I really liked this store. Everything is clean and variety is great. But the staff is simply unfriendly, especially cashiers. People really hate their jobs. There is no such thing as customer service anymore. Very upsetting

We are very often to buy foods at this store more likely every two days. We were there this morning at the fish corner. One of the employees was very rude and very unfriendly. We dont know what happened to her but we could see she is ignoring our purchase and looking down upon us. Very rare to see that kind of treatment to the customers. I hope this never happens again to other valueable customers.

Was my favorite grocery store. It seems to have lost that flare, that food, that customer friendliness that made it different. Yes, All the ones I have visited recently. 🤔 what does infectious mean ?🙊

From the produce to the Delhi everything is awesome love getting especially (🥭) mangoes here.

This whole foods is a decent size, and pretty reliably stocked. Theres no bar (if thats your thing) - and for some reason its got the worst parking lot cart drops that Ive ever seen. The people/team members are kind and helpful.

There is a wide range of food available in the store for people of various nationalities.

The staff looks miserable every time I come in to this location. That is one thing fine however the other is that on top of that they are rude to customers as if the staff pays customers to shop there. This is literally the only location that is not a pleasant experience to shop and checkout in. The other locations I visit are great. Service here is absolutely terrible. Management has dropped the ball at this location.

Really getting crowded in here. There are SO many Amazon shoppers in the store at all times. It just doesnt feel safe for them or for me. Probably going to check out Marianos or Jewel.

Ive ordered from Whole Foods through Amazon because I like the same day delivery. However, their egg salad and tuna salad are awful. It’s more like eating onion salad with a little bit of egg or tuna mixed in. I ended up throwing away the egg salad because of the amount of onion in it. I haven’t eaten the tuna salad yet, but I’m hoping I don’t have to throw that away as well.

My only complaint is they appear to have discontinued my favorite prepackaged soup. Being a prime member since they were purchased by Amazon definitely has its perks, though.

A lot of Whole Foods vary but this one is 1 of the best. The grab and go sandwiches in the deli department is amazing. Always the most fresh meats and the sandwiches are quick to grab and take off when you have to go to a meeting. Love this place. The cashiers are always super friendly and remember your names

Ordered a pizza for friday special deal, only to find out that was not the case if you add 2 toppings, went back to the pizza station to thank them anyway, and they instead talking trash about my case in the back. And I have asked if it qualify for the friday deal...

First time shopping at this location and loved the store but my cashier was extremely rude and impatient. I have a baby with me so things tend to take a little longer. There’s something to say when even the customer waiting in line behind me saw how rude the cashier was. Very disappointed with that.

I know everyone calls this whole paycheck, but I find if you stick with the house brands they prices are pretty comparable. The quality of their house items is also top notch. I especially love their bulk bins which is hard to find for some reason but it is nice to only be able to get the quantity I need and not more

Customer service is nothing short of extremely rude. Came in after a church session with my OLDER sister to buy some sushi for a lunch. Ended up finding a couple of good looking sushi options, and decided to stop for a six pack of cider on the way out. When we approached checkout, the cashier was withdrawn, and avoided eye contact at any cost. Once she went to scan the alcohol, she asked for my sisters and my personal ID. I’m 23, and my sister is 25. She wouldn’t sell it to us because my sister didn’t have a physical ID, and I WAS PURCHASING. I had shown valid ID, and was still declined service. Calling the manager I had let him know about my experience, and he went on saying it was a state law that they could not sell me alcohol even though I’m of legal age! I worked in the grocery business for 3 years, and took the alcohol handling for the state of Illinois multiple times. Nowhere within the training does it state that if the person purchasing has an ID that matched legal age, and the person shopping with you has to have a legal ID with them. Super disappointed, the manager wouldn’t even listen to my concerns, just keep deflecting with a “law” that I’ve never been trained on, read, or learned. Don’t visit this location if you are looking for a pleasant experience, they’ll disappoint you with their terrible customer service.

The sushi is so good here. Its always fresh and is quite a large portion for the price. The hot bar is really good too!

This Whole Foods is wholly meh. Its a legacy format WF (i.e. smaller footprint, smaller selection) so set your expectations accordingly. I work down the street and come here to grab lunch when Im feeling indecisive, and for a solid 7 years now, Ive usually left unfulfilled or taken aback by how much I just spent on mashed potatoes.I will say that the staff is nice and the store is clean, but Ive bought expired dry/packaged goods far too many times, and oddly enough, their pizza remains trash compared to the Willow Rd. Whole Foods.

Speed in for some fresh cut flowers. The choices for tulips were excellent, and the flowers lasted for over a week. Well worth it to get flowers here.
