My son needed a reliable inexpensive car to get to College. We needed to get a decent car a.s.a.p. and saw a Honda Civic listed on NTX website located in Dallas, Texas and went to look at it. My son drove it a bit and they did some type of check on it with a computer for problems and gave him the Carfax report. The car looked ok minus the hail damage we expected and my husband purchased the car for my son. They told my husband and son that the problem with their vehicles was that they had hail damage which was acceptable. The car showed a mileage of around 75,000 which was a huge plus for us. Because they were selling used cars and as most reputable dealers do we were led to believe that the car was checked and that only issue was the hail damage.My son drove the car for a day and I decided to take it for a ride about a day after they purchased it and noted that the brake pedal seemed low and that it was close to the floor. I am not a mechanic but that was concerning to me so two days later we took the car to NTB for a free brake inspection. After the mechanics looked at it for about 15 minutes they gave us the bad news that the master cylander and other key brake related items needed to be repaired immediately stating that the car was dangerous to drive. The cost to fix it was $2700.I called NTX and they said there was nothing they could do and said that we should have had a mechanic look at before purchase and refused to make any adjustment whatsoever. (i.e. refund some of the money we paid them offer to exchange the car)Selling a Lemon Car is much different than selling a dangerous car. They put my son in danger unknowingly by showing the computer result and the carfax report convincing him that the car did not have any mechanical problems and only was less expensive because they sold good cars that had hail damage as the issue.The fact that they sold my son a car that was dangerous to drive is unacceptable and they should be reprimanded for this. All I can do is warn you Buyer Beware NTX used auto sales does not check the cars for mechanical issues and only sells hail damage cars and uses that as a focus leading you to believe the car is a reliable vehicle and that there is nothing mechanically wrong.They should have offered to work out a way to split the costs as the high costs to fix a DANGEROUS CAR were about 50 % of the car cost itself. They would not do anything to help us and they will do the same to everyone who buys from them. I would advise anyone who considers buying a car from them to do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.Very disappointed with the car and the business in general and we will never go there again or recommend it to others. In fact, my advice would be to stay away and never buy any vehicle from them because they dont care about anything but getting cash.

I bought a hunday and the same day things got hot that I had already asked and they told me it wasnt happening. arriving at home it was heated the next day I took her to the mechanic and they fixed her. a buzz is heard when running, I take her to the dealer and I explain to another seller and the one who made me the sale is not here and. Happy mind tells me to take it to the mechanic that does not touch them. bad service
