I had a check engine light on and went there so see how much it would be it was a sensor that doesnt affect the running of the car. He said $5-600 and it involved getting into the fuel pump. I asked my brother-in-law about it. For $123.39 and a 10 minute trip to OReilleys for the part it was done. Only involved taking 2 bolts off to replace the part!! I will never drive into that place again!

I was in need of an oil change and instead of going to my usual place (Walmart) I decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. I pulled in and was greeted right away and they took my car in for service. Whole process took less than 30mins. Quick and easy! Price came out to be $59 but I didnt mind due to their efficiency

HONEST business, nothing but respectful and they dont want you for your money. I brought my truck in for them to check on my tires cause I ran over a couple of nails (thanks construction in Dallas) and I thought I needed them plugged, but the technician realized that they didnt puncture the tire and told me I was fine. He just removed the nails and I was on my way. I would def recommend for any services if you live in Dallas area!

It was good and professional. But come on, out the spare tire back like you found it! However, many thanks for the fast and friendly professional service. A little pricey, but I feel I paid for the great service I received. I didn’t shop around, this shop is very close to my house so I’m fortunate to have them nearby.

Was a transplant from out of state and had been to a few other mechanics before this but after this shop; my search is over.Ive had a few things done here. A simple brake change all the way to fixing exhaust issues. Friendly owner with reasonable prices. Transparent and professional.

Bjar was patient, helpful, professional, and honest. I’ve had a flat patched here (extremely affordable), and due to my satisfaction with that service, when I needed new tires, I opted to return here. They keep a good amount of inventory in stock but were easily able to custom-order tires for me that arrived later that day.The only reason they have 4 instead of 5 stars is that they have always been busy when I went (people must be reading good reviews!) - which means there’s always been a decent wait. Nothing out of hand, though, and they’re always honest about it up front!

When it comes to our negative reviews, regarding our business, we take it very seriously, we follow up with the issue and conduct a meeting to always be at the point of our customers satisfaction. Had a roofing nail in one tire; even with all the service bays full at nine on a weekday morning, they had me back on the road in under ten minutes, for a very fair price. Will definitely return when I need a new set of tires mounted., and/or for any future flat repairs. These guys are now my go-to tire shop, after the other Ross Tire at Greenville and Ross closed.

Went in for a tire plug, decided to go ahead and get an early oil change since my car was there. Drove my car to work the next morning and there was smoke coming from my engine along with a giant puddle of oil in my office parking lot. Called the shop MANY times asking them what to do and kept telling me they would call me back. I ended up having to pay to get my car towed to BMW, which I should have done in the first place. BMW found two oil leaks from two broken gaskets that happened during the amazing oil change. So, $600 later, I can drive my car again. Moral of this story.....dont ever get your oil changed from just anywhere. My mistake.

Polite, pretty fast and great prices. My only complaint is the record keeping. Im used to going somewhere and they pull my records up on their computers. When I had a tire problem he wanted to see my receipt (which I had lost). He still worked with me and was more than fair about the issue. I will definitely continue to use Ross Auto.

Omg great service . I was getting a mortgage loan . I leave and my low pressure sensor come on. I google tire shop this one pops up. I call and ask I I can be serviced now and he says yes. They are terrific! Honest and helpful. I had bad service at the dealership, so I went to Ross. As a non-mechanical woman, they explained things to me in a way I could understand, diagnosed problems more accurately than the dealership, and were very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

Great honest shop. Pulled in with what I thought was a flat tire based on a dashboard light. They visually checked all the tires, and they thought I probably just needed air. They filled up the tires, light went off on the dashboard, and they sent me on the way. No charge. Thanks guys.

I went here to pass my state inspection. I was told that I needed to get my O2 sensors replaced. Because I was new to Dallas, I went to another place just to make sure. Turns out that it was a correct diagnostic. I went back to Ross Auto Shop and had them replace it. Everything was going well but in short I got ripped off. They first reset the car to try and save me money and see if I could get around replacing the sensors. I had to drive around for hours only to be told that I had to replace the sensors. Then after they did the work and passed my car, I got in the car only to see the light was still on. He said dont worry that my car passed and it was some wiring issue. Fast forward 3 months, I plan to sell the car bc I no longer need it and I go to the Honda dealer to get it in tip top shape only to be told that a 02 sensor needed to be replaced. So, if you enjoy mediocre work, being lied to, ripped off, frustrated, and angry then, I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing service and cool people

Took my car here for an inspection. Guy couldnt figure out how to turn off my alarm and kept trying to start the car anyway. All you have to do is press the unlock button genius. He then took my car into the street for some reason and tried to take a right onto Garrett from the middle lane on Ross and very nearly wrecked. Im lucky there was an attentive driver on the road who was able to stop in time, otherwise they would have run right into my car. Its clear they dont give a damn about your property, they just want your money. Do NOT bring your vehicle here.

Ive been using this shop since I moved to Dallas which is about 18 months.  I will admit he has always seemed quite rude or angry most of the time but Ive never experienced it personally, only to other customers.  This time he was not only rude he revealed himself to be very dishonest and a borderline crook.  I took my range rover in to him to have my Ac charged, he told me he needed to put it on his big machine which would cost around 100.00 dollars, to which i agreed and then he told me my compressor was afterwards, and he proceeded to quote me 863.00 to replace and he also added that if I can find it somewhere cheaper he would beat by 50 dollars.  I reviewed his quote and saw the part was listed as 687.00 and labor was 75, I found the part online and took it back in to him and merely asked if the labor charge would be the same to which he responded he never quoted that.  I brought the quote and he then said he made a mistake on labor, in fair so I told him I thought the quote for labor was low so I asked what would the new charge be, he came back with 279.00 for labor 100.00 dollars for coolant, and some other random charge for oil.  We argued for awhile and he challenged me to get my own oil and coolant, to which I did and found the price was 20 dollars for coolant and 9 dollars for the oil!  I took this back in and he told me he didnt need it and just reduced his price by half.... He reused the new coolant he had placed in a few weeks ago but he didnt think I knew.  He ultimately told me to take the things I bought back because he realized he couldnt charge me for things he was never going to use. I will never go back!  Hes a crook and in sad to say it and has lost my business forever.  Dont trust him my warning to you.

Charged me $450 total for a simple ignition switch repair and i had no choice cause i didn’t have a tow truck and my car wouldn’t start. Then, just a few days later my car once again stopped starting, and i took it here because i thought it was related to the switch repair. The owner, Bjar, after a whole day, tells me that my cars battery is leaking acid, and that he can put in a new battery for once again, for an exorbitant price, or if i want to take it somewhere else...pay a $35 diagnostic fee anyway. I asked why he didn’t diagnose it when i took it in for my ignition repair? He just shrugged. The battery was obviously leaking acid extremely slowly, as I observed when AAA changed my battery. A total scam store, the shop overcharges for a simple job and will let you drive your car away with a leaking battery. Do not go here for your car needs!

I came to get a new tire and afterwards it caused my car to drive very hard. I have a new car I bought in Dec. And there was no issue until this tire. The man then says its not the tire its the wheel but its from the tire, they didnt even want to do a balance and rotation on the car.

Needed a flat fixed. Drove up and they had someone talk to me immediately. Got it fixed in 10 mins. Staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend to others.

I took my truck here based on the shop being near my house. I needed a track bar installed (pretty basic if you have the right tools). The owner asked to see the part and told me, showed his mechanic the part and they both told me it would cost $45 to install plus alignment. I thought that was a fair price as a shop down the street quoted $100 for install and alignment.When the install started, the mechanic seemed a little lost on how to get started. So I was a little worried and stuck around in the garage. I did everything I could to help him during the install besides crawl underneath the truck because I was still wearing my work clothes. The install took longer than expected...I was a little frustrated but I was very glad the job was done. When it came time to pay, the owner approached and said he would have to charge me double (really, I helped your mechanic install in 100+ degree heat!). And, they told me afterwards that they couldn’t align my truck. I went ahead and paid without argument because I was just glad the part was installed.On the way home I hear a clicking noise from under the truck. I change clothes and crawl underneath. I see that the track bar is crooked and clearly rubbing against the bracket. The next morning I took it took it to a suspension shop that seemed to have a great reputation online. They squared the track bar joint and shaved the bracket to make sure there was zero rubbing or clicking.When I called the owner of Ross Auto I simply explained the issue and asked if he would offer a partial refund (honor the $45 he quoted since I had to pay to have it reinstalled). I wasn’t looking to cost him money, just settle the difference. He became irate and even pointed out that I helped his mechanic install the part! If I helped install the part, shouldn’t you have given me a break on the price anyways instead of charging me double? Anyways, I never climbed under the vehicle when I was there to see the fitment because I was in a button down and slacks from work. I learned my lesson going here - probably a good place for a tire a tire rotation or tire balance. But definitely don’t trust these guys with something that could cause a crucial steering or suspension component to fail and crash into oncoming traffic. Hope this is helpful for anyone looking.

This is my first bad google review.It’s totally a nightmare. I changed two used tires at $80 at the store. One tire was broken in 100 miles after two hours. We struggled and suffered on highway for 3 hours, my poor little niece was almost cry, she visited Texas for her first time. I changed both tires then. When I asked refund for at least one tire, the boss was rude and yelled: You got no one penny! There’s no warrant for used tires. He recommended new tires. But they can use such tires?!

They did a full vehicle inspection for me and were very detailed and upfront on all that they did with my vehicle. Trustworthy!

I have an old 2002 4runner and had several things repaired here. The guys are fair and know how to service your out of warranty vehicle. Take it here and rest easy. They can get parts same day.

This place has never tried to get a dollar extra off me. They just do what I ask. They have always completed the job on short notice. No questions asked. (Simple maintnance only)A fifth star comes from some warning signs. I have a 100k mi. car. Let me know whats coming soon.

Great work. The bars on the windows and the appearance threw me off, since I showed up based on Google reviews which are positive. I didnt throw anything complicated at them, just an oil change and a nail removal from a tire, and they didnt try to push any BS on me. They did their job, the price was more than fair and Ill return in the future.

I will say, Im so happy of the shops service to my car, the car runs great, I was not been charged ridiculously over price like other dealership and some other shops. Very good customer service. I was in a hurry. They picked up my tires in 30 minutes & installed them in 30. One hour. Not bad at all!! Other tire centers estimated much longer wait.I spent $244 for three tires.Now this is a good waiting room. Nothing fancy but the tv is very soft, on the sports channel for folks who want to see. Not obtrusive for ALL of us on our smartphones.Ill be coming back.

The owner sold me a car under the false impression that it was through a dealership. The ad also said that the car runs great, which was supposedly confirmed by his mechanic, and I had no reason to suspect anything, because the inspection sticker was from this very month. The transmission is shot, the struts and shocks need replacing, the engine has multiple leaks, etc. The repairs are going to cost me probably twice, maybe three times, what I initially paid for the car.Dont buy a car from the owner or get tires or auto repairs done here, because they obviously will lie about whats wrong with your car or they just dont know what theyre doing.

They wanted to charge me $15 just to change my flat tire and put my spare tire on then going to tell me they going to charge me $10 to take off each of my lungs on my car.

They did a so-so job. Sloppy work when reinstalling the dash trim, they even cracked it, its still loose in places. Very evasive when asking what brand of parts, Ill get back to you but never did. Did not do some things I requested. Work and price was only ok. They seemed to be slow (while I was paying by the hr) compared to other shops. Just a general feeling of not knowing how to fix my problem, after they said they could fix it. I will not return to this shop as there are better alternatives.
