Nice store. A little on the expensive side

Store was neat and clean. Had everything I was looking for with great prices.

Employees that were responsive to my needs and cheerfully directed me to the merchandise I was looking for. You dont see that very often anymore.The shelves were a little unorganized. But that should be expected on a busy day like they were having.

Bought a recliner there a few months ago. Dummy me didn’t keep the receipt. Not even a month later it’s breaking down. Left arm came lose, tried to hammer it down, came off again. Every time you recline back it cracks. Piece of junk. Very rickety, do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks ok quality. Now I’m out $350. Lesson learned. I’ve heard other stories like this too. Buyer beware

I absolutely love this place. The Stow store closed down, which makes it inconvenient to travel to the Howe road store. I dont particularly like the traffic and shopping in Akron. They didnt have what I wanted, but I found some things that I liked, so it wasnt a total waste of my time.

I love the store! The employees are very nice and very helpful, yet they do not hover . If I had all the money in the world Id spend most of it there lol

Great place with quite a varied selection of snacks and pantry items (international and even gluten free ones!) as well as many stylish and modern home goods for anyone and whatever kind budget. Whenever I drop by, I never spend just ten minutes in here. Theres too much to look at! 🙂 (I always try and stop here before Target for whatever Im looking for- always cheaper and of same quality)

Ever since the remodeling of the stores health and beauty items skyrocketed, not much inventory and can be found for less elsewhere. I used to go here all of the time- now 1x year if that due to high prices.

Had good prices on some pet items I was looking for. I come here occasionally and have not had any issue.

Its big lots. Cheap stuff, nice staff. Didnt have what we needed though. Bought a couch and it broke, had insurance to replace but all the couches they sell are junk. So still havent found a good replacement.

This particular big lots has extremely friendly, helpful employees.

No one asked if you needed any help. The aisles were very crowded. It was difficult moving a shopping cart around. And worse yet rolling carts with product to be stocked blocking one of the main aisles. Finally found what I went in for. I dont shop at BIG Lots very often and now I know why.

Prices a little..high but store is clean and organized..I found what I wanted at reasonable price 😁

The only place you can buy a sectional get all the way home unwrap it and have two different couches. I strongly suggest if you shop at big lots at chapel Hill to check your merchandise before you. Kids working in there too busy clowning to do their job. 🧐 What other reason could there be

I went in today to purchase a tv stand and i was trying to figure out if my tv would fit and i dont know if i was being judges off my run around clothes but I encountered the by far worse sales associate! Younger boy with dreads! He did not know how or where to get information and after everything I said or asked he had a smart remark.. I guess when your lacking information it must be policy to insult the customer.. Then when I told him I didnt want his assistance he stayed by me starring in my face.. i will be calling the manager and corporate.

Was gonna buy couch an chair but nobody to be founf to help. They must be smoking dope in the back room

Nothing like I remember as a kid, both in a good and bad way. Nice, neat store, but the prices were not that great. I got 2 things, a trash can and a bunny sign.

This was once my favorite big box store. Each store had its own personality and I would have to check every isle because the items and deals varied from store to store. Now they are cookie cutter to the fullest degree. The deals are still okay, but the variety hunting for gold feeling is gone. The stores are clean and well organised.

They have some great stuff here. Specifically went to look for collapsible plastic laundry baskets. Had them in stock, exactly what I needed for new apartment. Will be back for more STUFF!

Some stuff is more pricey than it should be for a closeout type store but you can also find pretty good deals. When I went in today, the cashier was really nice (I believe her name was Vanessa). She greeted everyone, introduced herself, and let us know she could help if we needed anything.

The employees are always friendly. Every time I come in, I am greeted. At least one employee ask if I need any help which is always a plus. The store is clean and organized. Also the prices aren’t that bad especially if you have a Big Lots card. I always have a pleasant experience each and every time I visit.

Whoever redesigned this store needs fired. Clearly you have only been shopping online. There is absolutely no room to move between aisles. You have to walk around the entire store to get to the other side. Not having a conveyor belt at the register is my guess why the lines are at the back of the store. On the other hand, you do get your excercise going back and forth.

The Cuyahoga Falls location looks so much nicer since they redid it. Matt in furniture is super friendly and helpful.

Overall, a fun place to shop for not a lot of $ if youre smart. Home items are affordable and theres a good selection. The furniture department offers name brand pieces that youd be surprised to find there. We looked at a sectional there and were met with great customer service and knowledge about it from an employee. As far as dollar store items so like paper products, toiletries, and food, the prices arent the lowest around. Though it is fun to go explore the unique selection of foods from around the world. My kids and I can almost always find a fun new snack to try. Had an exceptional experience there as of late with a friendly cashier who spent a couple extra minutes with me chatting about our favorite brand of gummy bears. Somehow she rang me up very efficiently and still had time to make me feel taken care of.

Very clean and organized. Employees had masks and were busy cleaning. They even asked if I needed any assistance. 🙂

They changed the layouts but it is super clean. Inventory does shift a lot but you can grab some great deals here!

The store was clean and well organized. Lots of different items to chose from and good prices. The line at the register was backed up 10 peoe deep, but the cashiers did a great job to keep it moving. Also, my cashier was super friendly and chatty, and i enjoyed our conversation and patience as it took awhile to ring up our almost 200$ order.

So we went to pick up a couch and they threw it in our van so hard it broke so we called to tell them it was a broken couch and the lady who helped us said “we can’t take back broken furniture” so we asked to speak to a manager and he was super nice about it so we went to return it and picked out a new couch and they loaded it up for us and we get all the way back home (it’s now almost 10 p.m and we have been doing this since 7 p.m) and we unload the couch ONCE AGAIN. Just to find out that they gave us two of the same pieces for a sectional and now they are closed and we need the van for work tomorrow before they open and so we need to figure out a way to get to big lots before they open return a couch get the right piece and then come all the way home and unload it walk it up 5 flights of stairs and then get to work on time. GREAT JOB BIG LOTS! Moral of the story don’t buy from big lots.

Love this store. Always helpful & friendly staff. Great patio & summer selections for great prices. I need to stay away from here especially when the Halloween selections are out. Great value & selection in just abt every dept for what you spend. Quality is great for the price also.

Big Lots is the BEST! I always find what Im looking for at a great price. They have high quality, name brand merchandise. Last night I slept on my new 4 inch memory foam bed topper and it was fabulous!

We got a really nice sectional couch here for a great price this same couch was $400 dollars more at other furniture stores weve had it for about 4 months so far so goodUpdate!: (7-27-21) I have now had the couch for 3 years and it Is still going strong! In a house hold of 7 people... Im about to get new furniture just because I want a change but seriously the furniture is still good Im shocked

The Cuyahoga falls store has been reworked and looks amazing, so much better and more organized.

I love big lots i find so many good deals and house hold products. Its quiet place to shop when im redoing my house. The prices are really good.

Very clean and well organized.

The support pillars for the store are all in the aisles, making it hard to get through. Although people were wearing masks, a number of them had their noses uncovered. If you need to go from one side of the store to the other, the only ways through are at the front and the rear of the store. The entire center is jam-packed with furniture.

Great service. Looked for mattresses and they had a wonderful deal. Matt was very helpful. Process was long but worth it. I’ll be back again.

Some of the packaging of certain items is very damaged and not good but otherwise its a decent store!

Zach was the young man that helped me and he was absolutely amazing!! He was extremely helpful and very patient!! This was the best experience I have ever had at this store!! I highly recommend shopping here!!

It was the most organized Big Lots Ive ever seen. Although, a little short staffed, the staff that did help, was very nice and helpful.

Went to buy a box spring. Within 10 minutes, it was purchased and loaded in my van. Excellent price and service!

Manager Fred was very helpful, friendly, and worked extremely hard to make sure that we had the best experience possible. He even loaded 4 pieces of huge furniture for us. Even when we had an issue he was great and fixed it instantly, even though it ment unloading and loading even more stuff, which he did with a smile on his face. Store clerk Dave even took a couch to the face on accident while helping, sorry man. All in all, would go back anytime

Its a decent store. The pro Lem is usually the staff. There are two staff members that Ive seen that have been there a long time and are wonderful. Other than them, most of the staff is horribly rude.

This store has an interesting mix of products and prices. I suggest you become familiar with the bargains that the store has, both constant and special purchases. You will find a deal.

Of course the prices are low. I dont like the store because its not clean or in any kind of order that I could make sense of. The aisles are narrow and it seems that no one working there cares about making sure the aisles are clear of stock and debris. If u need help with anything, good luck getting it from an employee

Well organized but got rid of half their inventory and crazy expensive now.

Damaged toys laying around the store. My 4 yr old had picked up a squish ball in the furniture section. He squeezed it just a little and it exploded all over him, in his eyes and mouth. It had a slice in it apparently and someone had randomly set it down.

Fine place, but they didnt have a snow brush/scraper for my car. Thats what I came there for. Nice store either way though, cheap stuff.

I really liked the location in kent that they got rid of. It had more decorations. This location has mostly food. Its eh.
