The best....they did a great job on my car. Rebuilt my hemi!

I was on my way to work when I realized my brakes were shot! I called a few places close by and I was lucky enough to get an appointment so last minute. Initially they thought it would be finished that day but due to their commitment to quality and safety they needed a little more time. That being said they were kind enough to provide a loner vehicle for the evening and had it ready to go the next morning. The cost was completely fair and the service was outstanding. It’s hard to find an honest and reliable shop like this.

John kept me informed of what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. All of the work was finished in one day and my car rides amazingly now!! Will definitely be returning!

Wish we could be regular customers, but we’ll be back if we ever have any service needs while in the Cuyahoga Falls area.

Was looking to buy a car, and had it inspected here upon a recommendation from a friend, and I am thrilled that I did! John did a great job looking over the car and explaining its issues, and made suggestions on how to follow up with those issues. He was really honest and straightforward the whole time, and the price of services was really reasonable. I will definitely be visiting G & R in the future.

I have been working on getting a new (used) car. Over the coarse of a few weeks, I brought in 3 different cars, and called about 4 other cars. John (and John) were always kind, patient and very helpful. The helped me get exactly what I needed. They have earned my business for years to come.

Quick service on undercoating suv..

Thorough, quick, reasonable. Dropped off my Tacoma when a light came on and they figured it out and fixed it same day. They pointed out my rear brakes hadn’t been engaging and fixed that too. Truck drives so much better now and I’m thankful they caught the issue before I got into a serious accident.

Had two of my vehicles undercarriages sprayed with an oil for rust proofing.Not a used motor oil. doesnt drip .I think it might be vegetable based.Still looks good, planning on doing it every two or three years

G&R has helped me keep an affordable used car and budget so I can pay off my student loans for over 10 years! I tried a lot of shops before them. John M is so knowledgeable and yet is also hilarious and so helpful. John Z and John M restored my trust that there are honest shops out there. I dont go anywhere else.

They were very helpful and fair. I took my car there for a repair and wasnt sure if the repair was going to do it. I was actually allowed to take my car home without paying to see if the repair worked. The repair they did was needed unfortunately it didnt fix the whole problem. Flooded streets had ruined my computer and fuse box so the car was throwing false codes. John the owner helped me pick a new to me car.

They definitely don’t screw around. I had questions about a job they recently did on my car considering I have hardly any idea about car suspensions and they made sure everything’s all good. I definitely go to them if something is wrong with my car.

Stay far away from this auto repair shop!!! The Office Manager, John M, is extremely rude and only interested in throwing money at your car. The owner on the other hand, John Z, is extremely nice. You can weigh your own odds on repairs but my first impression and last impression of this business is to spend the extra $20 on an estimates elsewhere and feel confident that what youre being quoted is what actually needs done to your vehicle. Times are tough enough as it is and this business is looking to squeeze every last dime out of people. Stay far far far away!!!!

Frankly, being new to the area, I had explored a few shops for car repair. We rolled into town with a check engine light on, so I tried to get a read on it with a visit to two other shops.Half of the diagnosis was done correctly at each of them.Plus, the estimate for charges to repair didnt add up from either of them.I decided to take one more chance on finding a good shop to go to in this area.I called this guy at G&R. I explained my issues with the car and he said that he had a guy that would know what was up, within an hour.Called on Friday afternoon, and was in there on Tuesday morning. If it was a major thing, he told me straight up that it would take some scheduling, but to take a look, and get it figured out he would work me in to the schedule.Tuesday morning rolled around. I showed up with thoughts of the last two guys on my mind.Things couldnt have been any more impressive. The shop was busy and active from the moment I walked in. That was 15 minutes after they opened.It took a while for my technician to run through his scan and discovery process. It did. Within two hours, the dude had my issues solved and I was back on the road. He found the issues in the vaccuum element of the system. Something the other two guys either overlooked, or wanted me to pay more money for, later. I dont know.I learned three things that day about G&R. One, the owner of the place is first rate. Truly a stand up guy. Two, his team of technicians work hard, across the board as far as I could see. I know well that the dude who took care of my problems was a guy that made a point of communicating the issues well. He is the guy that I want looking after my cars in the future. I know that.He earned my trust and satisfaction in one two-hour visit. Id call him by name, but I honestly dont recall it. Ill know him when I see him.Three, Ive been to a repair shop a time or two. Impressive is all I can come up with to describe the efforts that they put in to my needs. Truly well done. B

High price like any shop, but I have had nothing but good to say about this place. Excellent service, very timely as well. My car was fixed that day, after getting me in without an appointment. Great job G&R. My car passed echeck, and life is good.

This is now my go-to shop. I had a wiper arm that wasnt working. They thought it was a simple fix (just tightening something) so they just did it-- no charge. Couldnt be happier. More businesses should operate like this nowadays. Thats why Ill be back to G&R for my next service (and the next one, and the next one).

As a woman with the whole stigma of girls dont know about cars, I have always had my guard up with mechanics. G&R may be the most trustworthy mechanics on the planet. We have been taking our cars to G&R for 15 years and have 0 complaints. John is a personable guy who will take care of you. John just went above and beyond in my opinion. They dont do transmissions but referred me to a great group of people, called them on my behalf and set up an appointment.

I was having a lot of trouble with my 95 Impala that a few of shops in the area couldnt diagnose. My car sat at ECP (Another shop in the area) for 2 weeks only for them to tell me nothing is wrong with it, it just stumbles occasionally (it wouldnt be stumbling if something werent wrong with it!) I brought my car to G&R and 90 minutes later they called me and found several things wrong that was causing the car to run bad. I agreed to let them do the work and now my car runs flawless! The sluggishness, stumbling, poor idle, and all the issues i was having are gone. These guys do HONEST A1 work! Best shop in town hands down!

This is by far the BEST place to take your car! In this world today, it is hard to find honesty. I know that I am being given the best advice and service. I will not go anywhere else. I am over the moon for John Moon. What a doll. He always has a smile and laughter even if the news is bad. He has the biggest heart and will help in any way he can. I’ve been going here for years. Recently, I had engine trouble. GnR sent me to Zehner’s for the engine. They were great, too! You can trust both these establishments to treat you right!

Had a bad experience at another shop that left me with a complicated brake problem. I took my truck to a few shops after that and no one could give me a solid answer. G & R diagnosed the issue, quoted a price, and fixed everything within 2 days.

Had full front and back breaks done not even a year ago, cost almost $1000.00. The front passenger side started sticking immediately and we had to return to get it fixed, anther few hundred dollars, then the driver side started sticking a few months later, today we just spent $550.00 for new, calipers, routers, pads, and replaced a ruptured break line on the front. Very disappointed with G&R. We will never take any of our cars there again and I will make sure to tell everyone to stay away from those hacks

We had the No-Drip Spray winterizing service done on my wifes vehicle. Shop was quite busy (always a good sign) yet they were running right on schedule and I was in and out within 30 minutes. It was my first time to use G & R, but I dont think it will be the last. Thanks John!
