I go to this Cub all the time. Well stocked when they can get product and always clean and friendly staff. You can tell they really care by being friendly and doing their jobs.Today I had the pleasure again of Ian being the checkout person. I always try to go to his lane if open. Friendly, great customer service and a very professional young man. The type of team member any company would like to have. Great job Ian and always keep up your awesome customer service.

Its a really nice grocery store. Always has everything I need from groceries to a drug store liquor store and gas station. Good customer service friendly helpful determined. Also has a big parking lot for your convenience

The customer service of the overnight staff members leaves a lot to be desired. After multiple visits to this location, experiencing the same level of poor customer service, I will take my business elsewhere. There are competitors that charge less and are more friendly, albeit not as convenient.

Extremely poor COVID safety protocols. (1)All of the automatic doors going in were turned off. You couldnt lean and push in with an elbow. Every person entering had to touch and pull outward in exactly the same spot to open the door. (1b) No hand sanitizer was available. (2)There were no carts to be had. After 12 minutes and asking 3 employees for help who all said they had no carts available, someone with a cart finally left and the manager handed it to me without wiping it down. (3)The self-service kiosks were the only check outs open. They were not wiped down between patrons, and there were open water-pop bottles and other stuff sitting on them which you had to maneuver around in order to check out. It was a very gross experience. I strongly regret stopping here.

This Cub is about a block away from my home but I rarely shop here. They remodeled recently to make the entrance door smaller. A majority of the spots that are relatively close to the cramped entrance are taken up by their garden center. The service is poor, the store isnt clean often, the deli counter is sketchy. The worst part is the cart situation. It feels like the apocalypse driving into the lot- carts are everywhere! Tipped over, up in the rocks, in the middle of street a block away- its out of control.Ive had more bad experiences here than good and because of it, Ill drive to Hy-Vee which is 10 minutes away over stopping here a block away.

They sell food in exchange for money and some of it hasnt even expired yet. Sub par cuts of meat, on one occasion my daughter and I spent 30 minutes looking through every steak they had. They were not fresh, cut properly or well marbled. The produce section is laughably over priced compared to other grocery stores. The generic brand they carry Essential is so bad weve never finished a can or jar that we opened.

I love to bake & they have everything I could ever need. I love to shop here, you never know what goodies youll find.

This store has gone down hill ! Everything in the produce aisle for the last 5 months has mold On it ! Y’all really selling food with mold on it trying to make people sick ! And considering the store in north Minneapolis is not open, this is just out of pocket that you all are selling expired or close to expiring food and molded produce do better !

I was picking up my online order and the guy whom I suppose was in charge was very rude, no good customer service at all ..And Ive worked in customer service settings before and I know how it feels to be on each end but at the end of the day treat others the way you yourself would want to be treated.

Always changing and growing. Super large store. Relatively easy to find what youre looking for. Like the bakery area. Love the self checkout. Customer service/helpers are hit and miss, many young and disinterested. Great check out folks. One lady was super happy and friendly. I seek her out. Great produce. Great specials. And now there is a liquor store and they carry three of my favorite wines! Free parking and there is a holiday pump station in the same parking lot!

Great location to shop 24/7. It’s always clean & the workers are nice . The shelves are always stocked and I get great deals with my cub reward card . I would highly recommend this store to anyone who loves a good grocery store to visit. During the holidays they do get quite busy so beware !

There clearance shelved items never ring up correctly and every time me and my family (new to the neighborhood) was watched like a hawk and followed by a man name Tyrone he’s always at self check out at night. Deli part of I could score that separate it would be a solid 5 STARS

I just got back from Cub in Crystal. This is probably the 5th consecutive time that I have checked my receipt and found out that I have been charged full price for items marked on sale on the shelves. Yes, I have a cub card. I have heard every excuse about how they dont price at the store level(its a corporate thing)and non food items signs get changed slower. I have taken pictures of the signs to prove that Im not just making it up, but Im done with that. Do I have to prove to the employees that I am not making this up? They are always saying they will pass it along to management, but it is the same the next time. I bet an employee today that the canine carry out dog treats marked 10 for 10 dollars would ring up wrong, it had been this way for 6 weeks now. I go to customer service and get my 2 to 4 dollars back with an apology that they will look into it. Im really thinking they do this on purpose to see if anyone will notice. I would like to reach out to cub respond to this. Maybe the news could investigate? Hyvee does the same thing. Maybe more people should say something. Groceries are really expensive.

Go to the Crystal Cub food. Erwin who is the produce manager is very helpful. He walked me through the fresh juices and other options for health living. The gentlemen in the meat section are always willing to help when I need a quick meal option. Their portioned salmon and asparagus come with season and butter and all you have to do is pan sear the contents.

Pretty good Cub foods. This one has been remodeled. The popcorn is pretty good. Dont buy the giant bags unless you are sharing. Lol I bought a big one for myself and couldnt finish it. Cub has good fish and stuff. My parents shop there.

I like Cub foods. The fresh made hot food is great and the salad bar as well. What I do not like is the overpriced items at these two bars. They do have a great selection of groceries, but could improve on the Hispanic section, it is difficult to find Mexican products or spices that much of the Latino community uses. It has improved over the years but still lacks in the Hispanic community reach.

Better than the cub foods in Brooklyn park (south) and Brooklyn center. Have Kashi cookies. Hot food bar in evening. Better selection overall vs those stores.

This is the place I buy groceries almost 100% of the time. There are always handicap carts available and charged. The staff is friendly and the store is clean and well managed. Its convenient and close to home.

I have to say the cub on west broadway has better customer service then this store and the reason I now shop at Hi Vee

The Manager Jim saved the day by redoing the cake and getting to the location... I was very impressed with it and it really made a difference as many people saw it ate it and asked about.. In a good way the cake that was first picked up would not have received the appreciation on the one Jim supplied.. Thank you for turning this around from a Horrible Cake to a Great Cake and happy customer...Thank you......it meant a great deal to me.. Horrible cake decorating job it looked like a 3 year old did the work on it and it was needed for a party tomorrow.. No one there to fix it.. Gave me half off but big deal it does not fix the horrible decorating job.. I would have rather had it look nice...so disappointed you only have 1 60th birthday not like you can have a do over.. They should have fixed it and delivered to location which is less than 5 miles away.. Never again lets hope it tastes better than it looks

This used to be a 2-star store. They have put some effort into this location to raise it up to a 3-star store. Grocery pickup service is available (not sure about delivery). Mid-range pricing.

New renovation. New Caribou coffee shop love the 2.00 beacon but I dont know when great deal will last. I usually shop here for the many variety of meats that beats many stores. There is always a need for more cashiers in the evening. Lines are long. Good customer service thanks.

I love the manager specials all grouped together in the meat department. I often get meat greatly discounted and come home and pop it straight into the freezer. The variety of vegetables and ethnic foods has greatly expanded. I love the sales corner around the corner from the pharmacy. Cub helps me stretch my food dollar tremendously and by also using my store card, I get great Holiday gas discounts as well.

I love this store location. Most, if not all, employees were very polite, friendly, and helpful. The produce is usually fresh and most items are in stock most of the time. Abukhar from the produce section is very nice and always willing to help me look for certain items. Ben is also wonderful! He knows all items in the store from the top of his head (from where theyre located in the store to how much is in stock). Larry from the meat department is awesome! He greets me every time he sees me. He also helps back up at the cash register sometimes. The biggest concern is the checkout needs to improve during peak times. Otherwise, I recommend going to this location.

Used to enjoy shopping there but dont anymore just because there are too many misleading prices and you think youre getting one thing as certain price and then youre not. Like if it says 2 for $5, and you only buy one its not 2:50 it some other more expensive price and I hate places that do that so I dont shop there anymore

First impressions are all ways great. Walked in the front door to very fresh produce and organic as well. Great selection of meat and hot precooked food as well.

I want to thank Rachel and Ashly for the help with the flowers I ordered for a funeral. The flowers where beautiful and much much better than I expected. I will definitely recommend people come see you for their floral needs!

I like how they redesigned this store. Seems to be more space and also more help, so if you dont know where something is just ask and people are friendly and willing to help. Plenty of parking with a gas station off to the side of the parking lot as well kinda nice. =)

Expensive foods, meat is the worst I’ve ever seen, produce is a little above par. This store is SO unorganized it’s not even funny. They will have two different coolers with cheeses and two different coolers with juices, etc. Why? Organize your store!!! It’s a hot mess. Not even the employee that stock the shelves know where anything is. Trust me.. I’ve asked several for help! I was there today and there were hundreds of fruit flies on the grapes. Disgusting.

The remodel is nearly finished. It looks nice but Im still not convinced this will help them compete with Hyvee when it comes. Their produce is mediocre but the location off the freeway is why its convenient. Otherwise the grocery has most of what you need. I use it to supplement the Costco runs.

I used to love Cub. Went today had to tell the person babysitting self check out that I was a Indian not a thief. I would think they would train the babysitters better before they approach customers. Instead of having 4 babysitters for the 6 self check out maybe have 1 and make the other 5 babysitters cashiers.

My home Cub for many reasons. The people who work here are a joy to talk to. I go in every Sunday morning to get pastries and end up spending most of my time talking to new friends. Great place.

I went grocery shopping last week and seen one particular young lady doing a lot at once and managed to keep a smile on and help all of us during the lack of self checkouts being down and lack of help from the other employees I would give this lady a raise!Way to go felicia thank you for all you’ve done your customer service was spectacular!

3rd day in a row where I came to this location where they have no small baskets in any entrance to the store! I asked the employee where I can get one because there’s none and he said there was one but the last basket is stapled to wood. When I told him this was the 3rd day in a row it’s been like this, he proceeded to say it’s because people steal them with their groceries. I don’t think customers are taking allThe baskets. The employees aren’t putting them back when they see customers are no longer using them. Totally unacceptable!! Lines are ridiculously crazy with no coverage. I sure hope this store gets things in order especially with it being holiday season. Putting baskets back doesn’t seem like a hard task to do

Better selection of produce then the highway 7 slp cub. Although that SLP one has the best hot deli food. All the other locations are inconsistent

Finally remodeled after years of living in the past. Looks great now with clean sight lines, better selection of goods compared to other years. Still an awful lot of customers who dont know what fire lanes are for and local police never enforcing the issue.Overall the place looks great but unfortunately it is still run extremely poorly with terrible staffing of check lanes and no real authority figures making sure customers are taken care of. Probably should look at HyVees model of efficiency but if your saving money on payroll and people still come then... great for you?

Only negative is that the vegan options are easy to overlook... But theyre there. Great service. Nearly one-stop shop.

The Crystal, MN location is by far better than the other ones in North Mpls. and Brooklyn center, MN to be exact. Very clean, better variety of foods and specialty items.

This Cub just doesnt seem to have a niche... By that I mean rather close by you have a Walmart that does the cheapest price niche very well, you have a Hyvee that does higher quality & variety meats cheeses and produce niche very well, and an L&B that does the decent stuff with snobby service niche very well.. So, for what shopper is a Cub here for? Prices too high for a bargain - Staff service too low for that to be the draw - and quality too mediocre to be the focus. Better to go elsewhere.

Downgrading to three as management and staff do nothing about people not wearing masks. was in there last night around 5:45 pm and counted almost 30 people not wearing masks. taking my shopping elsewhere for the time being.

Butchers go home at 2pm. Dont get home till 4-5pm work. Go shopping 5:30pm. Cant get the meat dept to cut a chunk of meat because they cant touch the saw. No buzzer to get anyone in meat dept. Older manager in Cub with glasses is a douche. Does not want to help. When I have approached him in many instances. He acts as I dont exist and walks past me even with me looking and signaling with pointing at him. New manager younger bigger stockier guy very cool when needing the meat dept just to be turned away. I have had more bad luck with Cub than I can count. They just dont care. Only a couple younger cashiers are very nice.Cant wait till Hy-vee comes in. They go way out of their way to help.

My girl friend and I went to this store for ginger and limes on Saturday, April 21st 2018 .While we were using the self checkout, a manager by the name of Donna (middle-aged Caucasian woman) came over, without warning or explanation removed our ginger from the bag of groceries we’d scanned and then asked if we had weighed the ginger. I said yes. Then she proceeded to put it back on the scale anyway and realized that it was already weighed as the screen wasn’t reporting any errors.Ashamed, she claimed it was just a Random stop by to check if everything is going well. Why is this happening people ????When we asked another clerk for a manager there wasn’t one available and we asked for her name and she was mumbling under her breath as we left that we were overreacting, even though we haven’t said anything to her other than yes we weighed the ginger and what is your name.I

This place has gone down hill pretty much since about five years ago, but most recently when competition moved in the neighborhood a couple years ago. Produce is nasty, service is zombies, two real checkouts and consistently backed up with customers. Its really only a matter of time till this location is closed.Only reason to go here is when you forget that one item and dont feel like driving.If you like Cub, go to a different location. This one will just make you sad its called Cub. Remodeling cant fix bad management.

Have been coming here for over 27 years. Today, there are over 45 people in line and they have 2 lines open with no plans to open additional ones. Inexcusable! My ice cream is melting and other frozen items as well.This is clearly a management issue.

New store design is nice. Would have been nicer if the entire store shelving was redone also.

We shop here all the time and have done so since the store opened. Today it has modern offerings, excellent produce, great variety, great price points and many unique features other stores do not have. I like the bulk foods area a lot. I like the ethnic foods offerings a lot. I find items here I cant at upscale grocery or down scale grocery. The stor atmosphere is clean bright welcoming friendly as well as efficent. But they manage to give you very personal service and are really glad to helpa shopper. You dont find that everywhere. The manager is very professional and I appreciate the entire crew. The delt is expecially pleasing to me both fo products service and management. Good Place CUB!

Great place but some of the staffs are either lazy or races i asked the woman employee for some disinfectant wipes to wipe down the grocery cart so i can put my 1 year old daughter in it so i wouldnt have to carry her and she asked the white employee to grab them and he never came back and i waited 10 to 15 minutes and he still havent shown up so i never got a chance to put her in the cart friday may 18 between 9 and 10 o clock pm

I go mostly for the pharmacy. They are so good, and know me by 1st name. Very friendly and helpful. They know their job well!
