Arrived at the appointment for service, was seen right away, checked in and headed home. One thing was the price of the cabin air filter changed from when we called, and twice while there. The gentleman checking us in agreed to honor the price quoted on the phone which was nice. Car was ready in a few hours as promised. No complaints.

I just bought a beautiful GMC truck from Courtesy Buick / GMC in Crystal Lake. I worked with Jesse in the sales department. He was helpful, informative and not pushy at all. Courtesy was able to get me a GMAC finance rate that beat the credit union!! Amazing!! Everyone there is very helpful and genuinely nice. They live up to the name. It did take us two weeks to purchase a car but nothing really ever came close to the service we received and the final purchase price. It was a win win for us. I was so happy with our experience at Courtesy. We came in looking at one specific vehicle. We test drove that one and began talking about financing on that one. Not once did they try to steer me towards a more expensive vehicle. We worked with Jordan who was great. We were also able to meet a few of the owners. Gus is the new owner and he was awesome. He got us the deal we wanted and seemed to genuinely want our business long term. I had been approved through a credit union prior to going there and he was able to beat their APR. The only downfall was that they only had one financing woman there so it was a bit of a wait for that part. Honestly though that just showed me how great they were because they had so many people purchasing vehicles that you had to wait a bit to complete the paperwork! I was so happy with this experience and I am extremely happy with my new Jeep!

Have been working with a sales consultant here since November 2018 because the end of my lease was coming up. I emailed stating what I wanted, how much I am able to pay per month and asked them to work up some numbers. My husband and I went in Tuesday night (2/26/19) at 5pm and was a bit surprised with the first offer because it was no where near what we said we could pay. We told the manager and the sales consultant that we dont want to waste their time and we didnt want them to waste ours, and that is why we started the process back in November. By 7:30pm, papers were signed with the numbers we originally gave and we walked away with a 2019 vehicle.

Had an awesome experience dealing with Mike King. He worked hard at trying to find the car that I was looking to purchase. He was extremely accommodating, extremely, patient and friendly. Great customer service. They were never pushy about us getting a new car that day it just worked out that way. We were in a bad loan with our previous vehicle and Nat said he would do his best to get us out and into the best car possible and he did just that. The sales manager was good too Im sure he gave us more then they would have liked on our trade in and gave us a 4 year warranty. Cant say enough how good the customer service was.

I purchased a 2017 Sierra from Courtesy and choose this dealership based on a smaller, friendlier, hands on dealership that I could get to know. I was promised free Courtesy car washes at time of purchase, and just last week was told their would be no more free car washes. I thought about this for a few days, but it was unsettling. I went back to the dealer and explained my position and what the previous management had promised with my purchase. Javier and his team have always done a great job of washing my truck and I actually feel the treat it like their own.....thats caring and service. The manager reinstated my free car washes and let Javier as well. I appreciate Courtesy recognizing the service part of their business. Good quality service will keep me coming back. A free car wash...…..is priceless in the eyes of the customer and dealer. Thanks.

Integrity. First word that comes to mind. I was in search of a very specific vehicle. Theparticular vehicle became available, I reached out and Nat responded almost immediately. He had all the pertinent information, sent pictures and I purchased the vehicle sight unseen.I came in today to close the purchase and not only was it the vehicle i was expecting, it was even better! They were honest and upfront about the process and timing. They picked me up from the train station and I was greeted by several folks with a firm handshake and a smile. By far, the most pleasurable car buying experience Ive had in 30 years of vehicles.

I use to work in the auto industry as well as at dealership and know a good one when I see one. I currently drive a GM vehicle and have even done work for GM corporate in the past so I know the quality of service and people they expect to be working at their dealerships. I could not even pull into a parking spot and the sales lady was already following my vehicle. I get out of the vehicle with my Fiance and I was nice and said hello back but, after that I didnt engage in any conversation as we are just browsing and do not want to be hassled when looking through our options. The sales lady continued to lurk and creep behind us which in todays day and age you really shouldnt do with all the creepers out there. I purposely went in a circle around the back by service so we could hopefully leisurely look in peace before engaging with a sales person about particular vehicles. Sure enough like a lost puppy the sales lady followed us in a circle and exact path we were taking to try and bother us. At that point my fiance felt creeped out and I was annoyed with the antics so we went back to my vehicle to leave. The sales lady continued to follow and then jeered at us sarcastically as we left. I would suggest changing the name because there is nothing polite about her tactics and if Courtesy is going to be the name then there need to be rules in place about how sales people work with customers or potential customers as their is no courtesy in stalking customers and jeering at them when they leave. Most people if they need a sales person they will ask and go inside. These tactics have gotten dealerships in trouble in the past. Very unfortunate to see this at a GM dealership it makes the brand look bad.

I went in needing a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle for winter. Weve had only one bricks for a while, but now weve got a baby on the way and a second vehicle was a necessity. I knew which one I wanted, and Hanna was a fantastic salesperson. She didnt pressure me at all, just did everything she could to assure me that they could get me into the vehicle I chose. My son has been searching for his first car for nearly a year. After making multiple journeys all across Iowa he found what appeared to be The One in an online search. The car was located at a dealer in Crystal Lake, IL - Courtesy Buick - which is over a 4 hour drive for us. We made the call and were put in touch with Tom Treanor one of the salesman. From our first conversation to our last a week later he was Top Notch! Honest answers, no sales pressure, polite, and courteous. We decided to make the drive and look at the car. We were met at the door with a smiling face and a warm welcome! The car was inside, detailed to perfection, and ready to test drive when we got there. And therefore Ive requested for a refund check.The vehicle price published on their website did not match the selling price. It wasnt a comfortable and pleasant experience at all as Courtesy says.

My old car was honestly just a piece of junk. and for someone who commutes a lot to work, it was unacceptable, but they accepted it as a trade in anyway. Courtesy worked with me and my family on financing, and I now have an excellent deal on a pre-owned car. Customer service was great from the get-go up until driving the car away. Had my Sierra Denali towed to Dealership. Dan Corapi made it clear that they were not affiliated with Marquette of Barrington were I purchased my truck. By saying F@#! them. Super unprofessional. I wanted my truck out of that shop right away. I have purchased 2 trucks from them and had nothing but a great experience. I know Dan and Kurt (the owners) personally and took major offense to that. We took our car twice, not starting, under manufacturers warranty. Explained what was wrong with it, but they didnt attack the root cause, which was a faulty battery. All they did one day was start the car and return it to us. The second time they recharged the battery, which of course did nothing. The solution: Take it to Gary Lang, were they replaced the faulty battery, minimum charge to GMC. The staff is very courteous, but either not very knowledgeable, or really abusive of the GMC manufacturing warranty.

Sadly my last experience here was the worst. They damaged my car and caused an ongoing problem after I went in for a simple oil change and a new key fob. They did not even offer to look at it again without charging me. They told me over the phone they could not have caused it and yet the car worked fine before I dropped it off with them. Also they quoted me one price for the key fob and tried to charge me much more. They never quoted me the programming fee and also charged me for that. Instead of handing me the new key fob, they told me to look for it on the floor. Poor service. Just money hungry employees not concerned about the customers or their cars at all, just getting paid. At least my 8 year old got an early life lesson in dishonest people and bad service.

Great service department! Had a catalytic converter replaced on a 2011 Terrain a few months ago; no issues at all. Sales department approached me about upgrading prior to repair and did not make me feel pressured. In the process I saw a Sierra that caught my eye... if they had a loaner a for the day I probably would have caved! Regardless, nice to see dealers respectful of the customer.

I haven’t bought a car from here but I just recently purchased a Chevy Equinox from a different dealership. After owning my car for 3 months I began to have some serious issues with it, I took it back to the original dealership and they found the issue with the car but because they weren’t a Chevy dealership they didn’t have the parts to fix the car so I was given a list of nearby dealers that would be able to help me with my problem. I made my best estimate out of the bunch and Courtesy was who I called, I explained my issue and scheduled my appointment for them to look at my car. We had a few hiccups as I was under the impression that I was going to get my car fixed at my first scheduled appointment but I had to jump through a few hoops for the warranty to be satisfied (oil consumption test) but they helped me every step of the way. The service team was always kind to me each and every time I had stopped in, even when they were at their busiest they would have me in and out in no time. I am so happy that I chose them, my vehicle is running better than ever and I will continue to bring it to them from now on.

The experience started out OK. Our sales guy was great - polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles. This is where the good experience stopped. We were left sitting and the sales manager wanted nothing to do with us...was rude and arrogant. The good thing is the next day we ended up buying a new Hyundai Santa Fe from Rosen Hyundai - a dealership that knows what customer service is. Love the new Hyundai and probably would have liked the Terrain if it wasnt for a rude, condescending sales manager.

Since we were in the market for a quality used vehicle and tired of the experiences at local area dealerships and the time consuming and game playing which we did not look forward to - we decided to try Courtesy Buick GMC in Crystal Lake.We are totally amazed by the experience at Courtesy! From the first time we sat down to negotiate and agreed on a monthly payment which was much less than we expected - to the service we received after the sale that went beyond their obligation, Courtesy treated us with Southern Hospitality and was truly a different experience than anything we experienced in the past!This is my first time doing a review on Google but Id advise any one who is in the market for a vehicle to visit Courtesy Buick GMC in Crystal Lake and experience a new kind of dealership which is unlike any in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago! Bought a new GMC SIERRA about 6 weeks ago & that experience was pretty good, other than it takes longer to buy a car, than it does to buy a house. Pretty typical everywhere I think.My issue is the service department. Called this morning for my FIRST oil change as it was due, and today was the only day I had time to get it done. Found out right away, they couldnt do it because the service department was going on strike. Seriously?? Spoke with a service guy there, and he told me they were calling customers that dropped off vehicles for service last week and over the weekend, to come get their cars. The werent doing any service work, nor accepting new appointments. I thought this was total BS.. called my salesman, and he suggested taking my truck to Reichert Chevy/Buick in Woodstock. Come to find out, Reichert is NOT a union service shop, and was more than friendly and helpful to get me in right away. Guess where Im going from here on out? Good luck with your worthless union attitude guys. You just officially lost my future business since I spent over $50k with you, and your service department refused to help me with something as simple as a damn oil change.

My neighbor was there because they offer free car wash if you purchased your vehicle from them. While her car was getting washed she started talking to a salesman which turned out to be the New owner of the dealership. (He is a Marine veteran that did one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan getting shot in the shoulder and has a metal rod in his back from getting hit by an IED). She leased the automobile from them about a year before through the previous owners that owned the dealership. In the process he asked to look at her paperwork. During that process he noticed it didnt look right and in it she would owe $12000.00 more than the car was worth at the end of the lease if she wanted to keep it, plus her payments were the same as if she was purchasing the car. He took it upon himself to look into it. As hard as it was to say, he told her the previous dealership screwed her. (She a single lady that had lost her parents less than a year before she leased the vehicle). He said he would like to make it right for her on the vehicle. At that point she had asked me to get involved. I was a friend and neighbor to her parents for 27 years. I went to the dealership with her the first thing I noticed there was a receptionist at the front door greeting us. There was no salesman running up to us. It was a very nice atmosphere where if we wanted to just browse without the pressure of a salesman hanging over us we could. (Which I did). They got ahold of the owner. He and a sales lady sat down with us. He worked out a way where his dealership canceled out the lease with no penalty. She purchased a new vehicle same model as before but loaded with options and her payments are less that she was paying but now she will own the vehicle. He got her a 3 and a half percent rate with a bunch of optional service packages included in the deal. The owners name is Jeff but everyone calls him Gus. I give him and his dealership an A+++. Being a veteran myself and after talking with him I could tell hes a straight shooter when he talks. ( No BS type guy).

Just purchased a new car on July 4th! The entire team worked hard, over 2 days, to get me the deal I needed. Salesperson Lalaina worked hard and stayed late on the holiday to get everything wrapped up. GM Philip worked hard to help in getting the price where I needed it to be. Definitely a waste of time. The commercials are very misleading. The cars are lease prices only as you see on commercial. The most hilarious thing about them is the time that they waste attempting to convince you to get a smaller or used vehicle because you are not willing to pay their expensive financing. They quoted me $919 monthly for a 2018 Acadia with over 1000 miles🤣😂. My credit is not the best, but DEFINITELY not the worst. After the comedy show @ Courtesy, I drove an hour home & decided to text my toyota dealer which I was quoted half as much for a 2019 highlander. Im happy now..... I should be in my highlander on Saturday.

Found one I was intetested in but had to leave to go and get my car from the shop.They said they could Not run my credit unless I was there, I was going to go right back however while I was gone got a lifelock alert that they ran my credit anyway.So I did not go back since they lied.If they lied about that what else did they lie about?

We purchased a used car on May 15th and I have been remiss in not doing this sooner. My apologies to Lalaina, our sales person, who did an excellent job in helping us close this deal. She was friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable as well as a to work with the whole time. As was everyone else at the dealership. It was an interesting and mostly painless experience. It seems pain is always part of buying a car, but this experience had so lift we barely noticed it. The time spent getting this done was longer than we would have liked, but that was more my fault than theirs.They also replaced the catalytic converter as part of the deal and we were very happy with the service department. I dropped off the car in the morning and picked up a loaner. It was finished early two days later and I picked it up later that day. No issues, hassles, or angst. They has received the spare key and made sure I got that as well. It was the first car I was purchasing by myself and they were able to find me exactly what I was looking for. They try to sell you on what they have actually on the lot (as most dealers do), but when I said no to the premium trim, they found me the exact features I wanted in a cheaper trim. I went in on a Saturday and drove off in my new car on Wednesday.I was kept updated throughout the process. Originally, my car was supposed to come from Michigan, but once that dealership stopped communicating with them, they found me a slightly more expensive version in Wisconsin within the day and took care of the price difference for me.They gave me a great trade in value on my 2001 Accord and were able to get me to a great payment per month.Overall, I was very satisfied with the customer service from DAnthonie & Mark (and whoever their bosses were that were giving them the okay). I would definitely recommend finding a car through this dealership.
