One of the best auto repair experiences in my life! The motors (hydraulics) that lift the convertible top on my 2002 Carrera we’re both leaking to the point that the top could no longer function properly. Very few people have the knowledge, expertise or patience to replace the motors. Lee is phenomenal, performed the entire job in one day at an extremely fair and reasonable price. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

My 2011 Chrysler S 200 I just bought months prior started having a technical malfunction, its top wouldn’t latch anymore or go down! I saw a great review online and had to come! I went to several convertible top repair and upholstery shops to replace my rear window. All said that I had to replace the entire convertible top. The estimates ranged from $5k+. I decided on one last shop and that was AAA Convertible. Lee was so knowledgeable and accommodating ! Not only did he repair the window, but the rear bumper, car dings, and conditioned my convertible top. Had a Sunroof Installed: 2013 Corolla100% Satisfied. Dont waste your time going anywhere else no matter where you live on California. I drove 60 miles one way! Could of gone to competitor in Inland Empire but price and reviews not as good.I would say Best Price and Quality within 100 miles or more! Better than Expected. Great Job!

I have an Infiniti G37S Convertible Convertible, the Top did not go up anymore, I took it to the Infiniti Dealer in Cerritos, THEY WHERE CLUELESS & ABSOLUTELEY NO HELP, telling me it would cost $18,000 to fix & would NOT BE ABLE TO PUT THE TOP UP FOR ME, VERY DISCOURAGING. I have a 2001 BMW 330ci convertible. The top hasnt been working for years. Ive gone to the dealer and other places. Ive gotten quotes for well over $2000. Lee took a look at my car and gave me a really nice quote. He was able to fix it in 2 days. He showed me all the things that needed to be repaired. Im so happy my convertible top is working perfectly now. Lee is a great guy, who does incredible work! I highly recommend his shop. I drove over 50 miles just to have him work on my car! Finally a place that knows what they are doing. I’ve had issues with my after market sunroof that had been installed in my truck in 2007. It would come out of alignment, then it would leak, then one day it opened and due to being out of alignment it broke. I had a few diff places try to fix it and the last place made everything worse. The destroyed all of the clips for the headliner and visors and molding around the roof and couldn’t fix the sunroof issues. I held off thinking one day maybe I’ll find someone who knows what they are doing. With the recent semi heavy SoCal rain I was forced to start my search yet again for a place that could fix my sunroof. Other then the chemical smell of the new headliner which will hopefully fade in time or give me cancer first I am very happy with the results. Lee gave me two options. Order parts and fix the old problematic sunroof that I know will as well will give me trouble again as it’s old technology or install a new sunroof and start fresh. I chose the new sunroof. I wish I found Lee sooner. I had such bad experiences with other places that I was afraid to let anyone touch my truck and further damage it. Thank you Lee!

Terrific installation of aftermarket heated seats in my VW Golf. Lee figured out the perfect spot for the controls without affecting my dash or console. Hes very professional, courteous, efficient AND we had a great conversation. The installation even met my husbands very exacting standards. Im very impressed and I can recommend Lee without reservation.

Late review, but 7 months ago I took my 2017 Corvette to Lee and he was able to fix the convertible top when the dealer and another shop couldnt. I live 50 miles away and it took 2 months to fix, but it was worth it. Lee took the time to investigate a few possible causes until finding the correct one.

This was the best experience we’ve ever had at any auto shop. The owner is so honest and helpful. We thought we might need to replace our whole sunroof and looking at several hundred dollars to do so and when we went in (same day) he diagnosed the problem right away and told us it was a very easy fix and what to do about it. Within minutes he fixed our sunroof and saved us several hundred dollars and frustration. They are so quick, efficient, transparent and all around amazing. Highly, highly recommend if you need anything fixed this is definitely the place.

This place is amazing. Lee was professional, friendly and fair. I took my Audi TT convertible to 4 places before I found AAA. No one could fix it yet alone diagnose the correct issue. I was told I needed a new motor which was incorrect. The dealer wanted almost $1000 to fix and lee fixed it for less than half. The latch on my hood release was broken also and he opened my hood and put oil in. 2 days later I returned and he replaced the latch and charged me next to nothing. 2013 Hyundai Sonata sunroof would not close. I needed a new motor, as it turned out.Dealership wouldve been twice as expensive.Lee and his team did a great job and were all very personable on top of it. In a nutshell Lee and the team at AAA Convertible do great work. Theyre 100% transparent in every step of the way. True professionals, their work on my car was impeccable and they guarantee it for a year just as if you were to buy a new convertible top from anywhere else. There truly is no downside here. You keep a little extra money in your pocket, the work is good, its guaranteed and the customer service is great. Could not have had a better experience! The sunroof on my 2013 F150 went south in the half-open position and wouldnt budge after hearing a loud cracking sound. The local Ford dealership estimated the repair at $800-$2400, and since they knew it was a gotta do it repair, they offered to diagnose it for free. After doing so (they probably didnt even look at it), the quote was $2800! I found AAA Convertible and Sunroof online and told Lee, the owner, that I had a quote from the dealership to which he responded They told you $2700, right. I told him he was a bit low and he then quoted me $850 over the phone and said that Id have the truck back in a couple of hours. He then told me he does 1-2 F150s a week, as its a common problem with the trucks, and that another Ford dealership sends their F150s to him when they have sunroof issues. He further said the dealerships typically know the problem before they even see the vehicle due to the frequency of the repair. Upon seeing the vehicle, Lee offered to replace my front windshield as it had a large crack that Id procrastinated to repair and quoted me $275, which was the lowest quote Id received. He suggested leaving the vehicle with him overnight and that hed fix both items by noon the following day. As promised, Lee delivered! He called at 11:30 the next day to say the truck was ready to go. As painful as it was to part with $1100+, Lees expertise and honesty made the whole experience as easy as possible. He also showed me the broken sunroof parts and explained how and why the break. The bottom line is that an out-of-the-blue repair that few expect was handled as painlessly and expertly as possible. That, coupled with how pleasant and friendly Lee and Santiago were, compelled me to share my experience with you. Thanks, Lee!

I had purchased a used Volvo C70 Convertible that had issues with the hydraulic lines for the top. There are very few shops in Socal with specific expertise in repairing hydraulic convertible tops, and Lee has been in the business for 25 years. The only other option is the dealership, which has astronomical pricing. The communication was excellent. Lee was always available when I phoned, which is rare for any auto service business. He provided an estimate after inspecting the car and it was both reasonable and accurate. The hydraulic lines in question were replaced and the top now works like new. Because Lees services are in high demand, the wait time for an appointment can be 2-4 weeks out, so sure you plan ahead. I highly recommend AAA Convertible & Sunroof Services!

This is one of those shops your always looking for! The owner is as honest of a person as you can be! I have a 650i BMW that wasnt working right. I had quotes for crazy prices with no explanation. He gave me the lowest quote by far and he explained everything. After meeting with him at his shop I felt comfortable enough to take my car to his house and drop it off have him drive it to his shop fix it drive it back to his house and then I pick it up from his house because he was closer. He offered this to me at no extra cost and it was a big help! Once he got the bad part replaced there was something still not working and it took him a day and a lot of labor to track down the bad wiring and replace it. After all the extras the bill was still a reasonable 1200.00. BMW wanted 7500.00 to replace a few parts and that didnt include the extra problems he fixed. Thanks again!

AAA Convertible & Sunroof were great! I have a Suzuki XL7 and the sunroof had been leaking. I stopped by for a quote to repair. They gave me a quick quote and scheduled an appointment. I dropped my car off and the repair was completed perfectly. And there were NO extra charges. There have been two rains since and all is dry! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

On my 2004 BMW 330 Ci he fixed a poor job by another shop in one day, and helped convince the other shop to give me a full refund. He is a true professional, and he is the only one any BMW owner with a convertible top problem should call.

Lee is truly the jeweler of convertibles. After a four year wait, between finding someone to work on my convertible and obtaining the parts, AAA came to the rescue and finished the job today! Lee was extremely helpful diagnosing the problems and identifying the parts needed. I got my car back yesterday (1/16/18) as promised, with all of the work completed on time, and on budget. I was impressed with Lees willingness to walk me through what was, and was not wrong with my top during my visit to the shop. I left that day feeling like I wasnt going to get a call with additional work that he found while he had my car. I wasnt disappointed. Lee and I happen to reside in the same city and he was willing to drive my car to his home, saving me another trip to the O.C. Besides warrantying all of his work, what more reassurance could he give that he stands behind his work than letting me know where he lives? Would you do that if you were doing people dirty? Enough said!

Lee was great. He really knows BMW e46 convertible roof mechanisms. He quickly diagnosed my problems, quoted a fair price and got my roof deck locked so I can drive my car with the top down and no rope holding the deck lid closed while parts are on order.

Went here for a quick patch job on a small tear on my s2k and they helped me out fast. Color isnt exact but they set that expectation before they started which was good. No scary surprises here. I would come back again.

First off all, from my experience Lee is a great guy and is VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. The people that write horrible things about his personality may want to take peek in the mirror. Those comments are horrible and have no place in this or any review environment. I am saddened they were even allowed by Yelp! Now, with that written, Lee knows convertibles inside and out. Absolutely recommend him for tops and upholstery. Just expect it to take a while. A job on which he quoted me a 10 day turnaround took nearly a month. Eventually, I felt I had to go there every day in order to get his attention. Granted, we had couple parts issues, but that does not account for nearly three additional weeks. I really like Lee and the work he does is UNPARELLED. NO ONE IS BETTER. NO ONE! I just think he sometimes bites off more than he can chew. I may have been an anomaly. I do not know. Ultimately, my 1992 BMW 325i has a working convertible top and excellent upholstery. (Proof positive that you can get anything to work if you throw enough money at it). It is AWESOME! I found a review here that totally says what I was going to say, i totally believe that the owner, Lee, has a real untreated personality disorder, I went in there with an appointment and he was in the office eating late lunch, when I introduced myself with the appointment, with the worst rudeness that you can ever encounter in your life, he said that he is having lunch and I ‘ll Have to wait. I left immediately and took my business to the franchise dealer where I got the royal treatment and a loaner vehicle, I have zero tolerance to low life low class individuals like this guy. So, I strongly recommend that you go the nearest trusted franchise dealer of the same make of your vehicle, since his rates are not cheap either, so, you just go pay the same at the dealer and get the royal treatment that you deserve.

I took my 63 Lincoln convertible to Lee and he did an amazing job. The system on the old Lincolns are very complex and he knew it in and out. I highly recommend AAA.

They do good work here but the owner, Lee, has no concept of customer service. He is rude, disrespectful, and unstable. He may be suffering from an untreated personality disorder. Only go here if you dont mind being yelled at and made to wait while he tries to upsell services to other customers. Lee does not realize that a customers time is valuable and he will make you wait for no reason while he chitchats with other customers.

Lee is tops in the tops business. Hes left on my G37 hardtop convertible. Find him to be straightforward and reasonably priced. He really knows what hes doing when it comes to convertible tops :)

My involvement with AAA Convertible & Sunroof started when my 997 power top started acting up and I asked my repair shop to fix it and he recommended AAA Convertible & Sunroof and he spoke very highly of him.I called him the next day and spoke to Lee and I explained him my issue and he told me to come over so I checked his impressive online review I did.When I got to his shop he was working on another Porsche so I knew I was in good hands.Right off the back he toke a look at my Porsche and said roughly about 2000.00 minimum to fix!I call this pricing curb side pricing but I kept it KoO0l and asked him for Details on parts & labor.He explained that the parts are about 1200.00 but hell give me a deal for 800.00 as he has a used pair FYI I found a full set NOT USED but rebuilt with a 3 year warranty NOT used but rebuilt with a longer warranty than new two years longer for 375.00 and he was going to charge 500.00+ to install the hydraulic arms.I was so turned off by his curbside pricing I walked away with a nasty taste in my mouth and he had badly insulted my intelligence. FYI curbside pricing is when you call a general contractor for repairs on your house and hell look at your curb side to see what kind of car you drive and give you pricing NOT on the job in hand but biased on your car parked on your curbside or zip code or..........So needless to say I researched the pricing on his used hydraulic pumps and I found used hydraulics as low as 75.00 and he was offering his used for $800.00 as highly discounted and a favor.Also I found him to be a slick & greasy and one hell of a fast talker. I also found the labor he offered me as first client favor more than dabble 2X what others in his area were charging.So 3 weeks later I called him and asked him if he could match the labor IF I provide the hydraulic pumps for the hard top and as if Im wet behind my ears or some little kid fresh out of high school talking to me and a real charlatan.It is real easy to build up a high positive online score. All you need is a few friends and family with a computers or smart phones. Im NOT saying thats what he did! What I am saying is that before paying him a visit 3 weeks ago I checked his online review and it was excellent.The person I meet was 180* opposite his online review each time I meet or conversed with him EVERY TIME.But dont just take my word for it!Pay him a visit first but verify his pricing on parts & labor and get everything in writing W/ nothing hanging and watch-out for fast talking slickster or have fun with him.But be very very careful this slick is a real smooth operator.

WARNING!!!!who ever takes vehicle there, very unprofessional! The owner did not want to work on my car because, I asked to many questions. I drove 2 hours to get there he agreed that he can put a, sun roof in my car. The car rental picked me up just to turn around to drop me back off, he called and said he didnt want to work on my car. So when I went back to get my car, The man didnt want give my car keys. So he argued with me so I had to call the police!!! So warning too all dont trust him with your cars!!!
