I brought the car to dealer as scheduled September 13, 2021 but could not make contact with service advisor David Flores after drop off until September 17, 2021 despite daily calls. September 17, 2021 David Flores informed me that they had discovered rodent prints and chewed wiring that indicated service work to replace EMC would not be covered under extended warranty. I contacted Farmers Insurance who we have our vehicle coverage with and filed a comprehensive insurance claim for rodent damage.Farmer’s agent had problems contacting David Flores as well as anyone in the service department. I had to call sales department and ask salesperson to have service manager call me.Farmers authorized work to trouble shoot issue, but no further rodent damage was discovered. The only rodent damage was on the A/C sensor circuit wiring.The story then became that the extended warranty would not cover the failed ECM due to the left side of the vehicle had traces of water intrusion. The pictures dealership furnished indicated only normal amounts of corrosion, aluminum does oxidize, and revealed no difference between the right and left sides of the vehicle as claimed.This dealership is obviously violating our agreement by denying a valid claim on my extended warranty as there is no evidence of water intrusion or any abnormal use or exposure to water to the vehicle. This vehicle has never been off the pavement and never in any water.Beyond that, the service department of this dealership has serious communication and competency issues. I was not able to pick up the vehicle until October 15, 2021, 24 days after it was brought in for service. I paid for all repairs myself so I could retrieve my vehicle, but request the dealership cover the repairs for the failed ECM under the extended warranty.I have filed a claim against the dealership with the Better Business Bureau.

Service advisor David Flores has the worst customer response and sense of urgency. What should have been completed in 2 days took 8 days due to not answering or returning phone calls. Multiple times I had to drive to the dealership to get answers and set things in Motion. 3 times my vehicle was not ready due to lack of response on Autonations end. 2 times I lost reservations for work due to not having my vehicle back after it was service. The buck stops with management allowing this type of service to take place.

On Tuesday, October 19th. We proceeded to take both my husbands truck and my Blazer for our standard oil changes and vehicle mileage recommended services etc. I had made our appointments online and had received email confirmations and text confirmations the day of and email and text reminders on October 18th the day before our appointments.When we arrived at the service counter we waited for our service tech Anna Rodriguez. Shes stated she had no record of our appointments then proceeded to ask if we had made our appointments online, which I told her I did, and she proceeded to tell me that the online system hadnt been working so she had no record of my appointments. She then proceeded to tell me and my husband that we were stepping on her other 9:00am appointments and at that time she could only fit one of my vehicles in and the other one would have to come back later that afternoon.We told her that we could just get it done at another time or somewhere else, as I was already feeling the hostile environment of the fact that I had made an appointment online and was now encroaching on her other appointments and that we had drove into town from where we live 45 minutes away.At that time she was like oh well youve driven from out of town, I guess I can squeeze you both in but its going to be a while. We proceeded to wait two and a half hours for our two vehicles to get oil changes. During that time Anna came over a few times to ask us if we wanted additional services provided which I declined because I just wanted to get our oil changed and be done with this experience.I also experienced her complimented my vehicle several times during our time there, telling me that she would have bought the upgraded RS version but for now shell just stick to driving her BMW.This was a horrible experience. We chose your dealership because it was a local place where we could get our oil changes done, but after this experience, I will enjoy the drive to Texas City to the dealership I purchased it from to get my service done in the future.Thank you!

I turned my truck in for warranty work recently. I bought the platinum extended warranty that comes with a rental or loaner vehicle while my truck in in for service. I got neither a rental or a courtesy vehicle. I had to take a shop out of service from my shop so I could have a truck to use while mine was in for repair. When I do this it takes away from the revenue that I can generate from my business. I feel as i been sold a bill of goods if you cant back up what I purchased.

I mentioned that I wanted to get to work by 10:00 am and she told me she would do her best. Lo and behold she came to the waiting area to let me know my car was ready at 9:45. Service dept is slow just for an oil change they need a weeks notice they will sell you one real quick but service is super slow last truck I had an electric issue they took over a week to fix it and not once was I offered a rental even though it was warranty they really need to get better with their time management skills like make a dedicated oil change line im sure you can do 40 to 50 a day at minimum

I wish there was an option for Zero stars!!I came in for a passenger side airbag recall. My appointment was at 9am. I dropped off my truck and was shuttled home at 9:30. I did not receive any calls with updates so I called at around noon. I was told to leave a message because David Flores was on a call. I never received a call back. I waited till approx 4:45 and called again. I was told that David Flores was on the phone again but I waited instead of leaving a message. David finally answered and said he didn’t know if the truck was ready but to go ahead and come over. I reminded him that I needed a ride. I received a call from the shuttle driver asking if I didn’t mind being cramped in the shuttle because it was full. I told him I didn’t mind. About an hour later another driver called and eventually picked me up. I got to the dealership and they couldn’t find my file and didn’t know if the truck was ready. Another service advisor looked up my file and said it was ready. When they brought me the truck the AIRBAG LIGHT WAS ON. It was NEVER on before. Never! I was then told that I needed to come back the next day for them to fix it. The service advisor said that it was just a matter of resetting the sensor and that it would be quick. I came back this morning and David said that the repair would need to be redone in order to reset the light!!! So now I have to wait up to a few hours for it to be resolved! This is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT, all because of their incompetence! I hadn’t been here in over 10 years. Now I remember why.*** UPDATE ***I got the truck back and they said that the left front impact sensor was making the airbag light turn on and stay on. That light has never come on before and it hasnt been hit before. Unless it was impacted at the shop? The light is still on. It wont turn off and my dash says Service Airbag!!! Cmon man!

I took my vehicle in for a service advised airbag recall and left with three of four doors not working properly. I even explained there were no problems before to the service manager, he seemed more concerned in wanting to charge me for further inspection. Advice: make and go over your own checklist with your service adviser before leaving your vehicle. Get a signature assuring your vehicle is returned better not worse.

Honestly this Dealerships Service Center Does what they want when they want. Advice DO NOT GET extra services such as wheel/ tire protection oil changes, ect. Stick to the warranty and go elsewhere for service. I Love GMC but This service center has wasted alot of my time. Unfortunately its the only GMC dealership in Corpus Christi

We had an 8:15am appointment for a recall notice, we called the night before to ask if we could drop the vehicle off earlier and come back later in day to pick it up and we were told yes we could. When we dropped vehicle off at 7:10am the service center staff were RUDE and not helpful at all. The service staff acted like they were very put out that we were dropping off truck & keys so they could work service recall at THEIR convenience. We were told that the phones/computers were not working so they couldnt help us. GOD FORBID that someone grab a pen/paper and write down our information and they enter it later when the computers were up and working. Very Very poor customer service skills. With this type of behavior for our very first visit I seriously doubt we will EVER purchase a vehicle from this dealership.

Oil change. The guy doing it got oil on both of my front seats,oil on the passenger door. Did not check my brake pads, didnt check the spare tires air,couldnt program the TPMS after rotating the tires ( and expected me to leave like that). Told george that he they couldnt get the programming done. George said there might be a bad sensor, of course there wasnt. George programmed the TPMS, the guy also had a problem putting the lug nuts on the right rear wheel, he also didnt check the air filter. Not a good feeling when I left the service center.

1. 4 hour wait, without status, for 22,000 mile check up and recommended fuel injector and air intake cleaning.2. All truck power went out 10 minutes after leaving service center.3. $110.00 towing fee to deliver truck back to service center.4. Problem, air intake improperly installed, after 2 1/2 days.5 Requested Service Director, Randy Roberts, to call me upon receipt of first survey request. He never called and or emailed me.6. The service center needs better communication and more qualified staff. Calls and messages were rarely answered. I was able to directly reach David, rather than his phone message, on 2 out of 11 tries over 3 days.We purchased this truck (2017 Colorado) at this dealership and have only serviced it there. However, I will not have this truck serviced nor purchase another vehicle at the AutoNation Chevrolet South.

The dealership (George) did an excellent job in taking my car in on the weekend, getting me a rental and getting it fixed by that Thursday. The disappointing part of this experience is that this is the 2nd time I have had to take my 2021 Trailboss in for a lifter/rod job on the motor and I only have 11,000 miles on it. My wifes car (our family car) which is a 2021 Z71 Suburban with the same motor has broke down on us once and had to have the same rebuild @ approx 4K miles. My previous truck, a 2006 Z71 silverado made it to approx 20K miles before the lifters gave out and had to have a rebuild. All the same 5.3 motor. Im very disappointed because I have always been a champion for chevrolete as was my father and his but after continuously experiencing such poor quality, Im strongly considering switching to another manufacturer. We feel like its just a matter of time before our car breaks down again, hopefully not while were out of town on a family trip. So, 2 thumbs up for the dealership on fixing my truck and 2 thumbs down for GMC/Chevrolete.Thanks.

Took my boy in for engine light that came on, as well as oil change and tire rotation. I was advised me fuel injectors needed to be cleaned at 30k miles so we added that as well. Had my oil & filter changed, and aired my tires, supposedly. Well, when I got in my car, my key to unlock my wheels was in my cup holder, WHY, I didnt have them rotated, just aired. Then my tire pressure still showed low on all 4 tires. I went back to tell my advisor what was going on, and that I was NOT AT ALL HAPPY, he took my car to air the tires and then ran it through the car wash. He handled my situation with excellence.

Took my 2021 Silverado in for a simple tsb, service adviser Anna showed me a fuel sample and said that my truck that is running wonderful has a tank that is mostly water no fuel makes no sense I do fuel testing for a living and the sample shown had no water in the fuel along with my father who is a mechanic of 30 years and also did fuel testing for auto nation. Service advisor said they won’t touch my truck until I have proof that I fixed the issue. They refuse to test and have been waiting since the 26th for the service director randy Roberts to call me back. Left my name and number with the general manager of the autonation Chevy south store and still have not returned my call. This is the 2nd new car I’ve bought from autonation and 6th car total I have bought from autonation. This experience and the refusal for even the general manager to contact me has lost my business. Sad to think of how many other automobiles this technician misdiagnosed and charged $2,200 to fix.

I had a great experience shopping with these guys. After a few weeks of searching, i found the vehicle I wanted. I was a few hours away and they held if for me even though there were many other people interested in the vehicle. The used vehicle was detailed and filled full of gas. The salesman, Pete, was extremely helpful and friendly. After I got the vehicle back home, I noticed the bushing on the shocks we going out. I called the dealer and they paid for me to have the replacement shocks put in. I never expected anything like that AFTER the purchase of a used vehicle. It shows they take great pride in their customer service and will make sure you are getting a good deal when you work with them. I would highly recommend chatting with these guys when you are in the market for your next vehicle.

I went in to look at a variety of cars. I spoke with the salesman about my wants and my budget. The salesman showed me several cars and took his time to explain each component to me and answered all of my questions. Finally, I was able to purchase the truck of my dreams! I was not happy with my last visit to Autonation Chevrolet South. I scheduled an oil change for my truck and as usual I was upsold for a promotional service for truck to include tire rotation, car wash, and a synthetic added to my oil. I had no problem with the additional service. Then as usual, I get a phone call about an additional service my truck needs and it was encouraged since my truck was already there. So I was reluctant but got it done anyway. So $200 later for the entire service I got home and realized that my tires were not rotated. That is when I had a problem. I put a lot of confidence in my local Chevrolet dealership to take care of my vehicle, especially when I pay for the service. And thats the one thing I noticed. Whats to say that everything else I paid for was done. I was very disappointed.

Service after the sale was promised but didnt happen. We purchased a 2021 Colorado new off the lot. We were promised 2 things from the sales manager and the salesman. 2 things that come with every new vehicle when purchased. 1.5 months later we are still getting the run around and no returned calls. Typical car sales promise you the world and forget about you once you sign the papers.

They got me my special ordered truck of my dreams and even help me get extra upgrades like a Borla Atak exhaust and AFE cold air intake. I have the sweetest truck ever and all thanks to them for helping me get it. They have the best dedication I have seen in a long time besides my job. You just dont see that anymore and I would greatly have to say thank you. You guys are awesome!!!

Yes, I bought a Chevrolet Trax-LS/ I needed a smaller SUV and the people at auto nation were very nice about asking if they could by my Chev Traverse. So, I said yes because I have only had it for 2 years and it still had another year on the warranty.Paid my note off at the bank. I really appreciated that since I still had another 4 years to pay on it. All in All it was a great experience Friendly and very helpful in explaining all the financial parts about buying a new car..
