I had an excellent experience shopping for a new refrigerator at Shore Appliance. They had a nice variety of appliances available at the store, and my salesperson was happy to answer questions and look up other models on his computer for me to see. Delivery was terrific! They arrived when scheduled, took out my old machine and installed the new one neatly and carefully. I’m very pleased.

Easy transaction. 2 phone calls and 3 days later a dishwasher was installed and the old one removed. No hassle and courteous sales staff.

This was my first purchase with Shore Appliance in Clinton. I was very impressed by the inventory and choices on the floor. Dave was very helpful in assisting me to choose the stove I needed for our vacation cottage. The delivery was made during the torrential rain storms of last Tuesday, June 21. Connor and Ryan were very cheerful, efficient and helpful - they swapped out the old stove with the new one - all during the pouring rain. They took time to discuss the workings of the stove and how to use it for the first time. They were soaked to the skin and stayed cheerful through it all!! Great store and terrific people!!

We decided to purchase a new dishwasher from SHORE and not PAGE’S, because the service company that is attached to Page’s (General Appliance) takes too long to schedule a visit and charges way too much for their services. At SHORE, we selected and new dishwasher, paid 50% up front and were given a delivery and instillation date fourteen days from that day. Twelve days later I called to confirm, and was told that our dishwasher was delayed, and the salesman (Mark) could not say if our dishwasher would arrive in two weeks or two months. We can understand supply-chain issues, but why didn’t SHORE call us? After speaking with SHORE Manager, Pedro, we selected a dishwasher they had in stock (Pedro gave us discount) which was delivered and installed seven days later. Bottom line? We love our new dishwasher and we confirmed that the service/repair fees for SHORE are fair and reasonable. Thumbs up!

As a real estate professional, Shore TV has always been there for me, whether an appliance needs to be replaced prior to closing, or I buy a microwave on my own and learn after the fact I dont know how to install it. Extremely proficient, courteous, and willing to accommodate anyone when its an emergency, Shore TV has been a staple of the shoreline for years and I wouldnt take my business anywhere else!

If you want a store with personalized service for all their appliances and who care about what is happening to you, then this is your store. The prices are just as good as the big box stores but they will repair your appliances for the life of the machine. About half my appliances are from them because I didnt discover them until a few years ago. They will even service the appliances I didnt buy from them. Thank you Pedro and Aaron for helping me get through a heat wave with a dying refrigerator.

Shop local and screw the big box stores and Amazon. Shoreline offered fair prices on the washer and dryer. Best part was delivery (Mike and Tate) who removed old equipment, packaging materials and installed new units in a tight space. They worked politely, diligently, patiently and courteously.

The team at Shore Television & Appliance are fabulous to work with. I prefer to give my business to local establishments as well as I can count on them for customer service and support.

We recently purchased a washer & dryer. The salesperson was new but did a great job! Initially we only purchased a dryer but on the morning of the delivery we added a washer (last minute when the store opened). Eric was extremely helpful on a very busy Monday morning!!!The delivery arrived on time later in the day. Installation went well and both men were professional and polite.Most of our appliances are from Shore TV and so will the future ones.

We even had a measuring error(completely our fault) and Eric and Ryan could not have been nicer about it. I ordered a freezer which was to be on back order for a bout a month. Happily it came in early. The delivery guys were very nice and careful. Ive bought many appliances from Shore and keep on going back to them. Definitely a *gem* business of the CT shoreline.

My wife and I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator from Shore Television & Appliances Inc., in February of 2019.We have not had any problems with the refrigerator until this past weekend. Upon returning home from grocery shopping, we placed a small bag of ice in the lower part of the freezer. As we attempted to close the freezer drawer, we discovered that it was stuck open in one position and would not close. Numerous attempts were made to close the freezer door, but were unsuccessful.Fortunately we had a small freezer in the basement and were able to save most of our frozen groceries from spoiling. As I previously indicated, this problem occurred this past weekend (Sunday afternoon) and we had no other choice than to wait until Monday morning at 9:00 am., to call Shore Television & Appliances Inc when they opened for business. Upon calling Shore Television & Appliances Inc., I spoke to a female employee and advised her of the problem with the freezer door and requested to have a technician respond to our home that day, but was told that no one would be available until Wednesday afternoon. I once again explained our situation to her and asked for an earlier date if one became available. Before hanging up, she said that she would do the best that she could to accommodate us. And she did exactly that. I received a phone call from her within ten minutes and she advised me that a technician would be responding to our house early Monday afternoon between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.My wife and I were very pleased and couldn’t thank her enough.At approximately 12:50 pm., I received a phone call from Shore Television & Appliances Inc Technician Kevin McEnaney who informed me that he would be arriving at our house in five minutes. Upon his arrival, both he and his partner were very knowledgeable and professional. They fielded and answered many of our questions about the refrigerator and offered us advice on how to maintain it in the future. Kevin removed the freezer drawers and was able to make the proper adjustments in a short period of time. Upon doing so, the freezer door closed without any further problems.My wife and I very satisfied with their great customer service and strong work ethic.In addition, Kevin and his partner replaced the air filter and produce preserver inside of our refrigerator.Based on our positive experience with all of the employees at Shore Television & Appliances Inc., I highly recommend them and plan on purchasing many more appliances from them in the immediate future.Job well done by all!All the best.Joe & Carol Streeto

Weve purchased many appliances from Shore over the years, and always had a great experience. We especially love that they do the warranty in-house so if/when you do have a problem, they dont treat you like a number, like the big warranty service providers weve experienced in the past. They are very responsive with any service related issues. And never pushy but always knowledgeable about the products they carry and if they dont know the answer, they will find it for you and get back to you on it. Weve worked with Dave a lot and he has been great. Although a smaller company, weve found their prices to be very competitive to the big box stores; and we much prefer to support local businesses like this. We highly recommend using this local gem for appliance purchases and would not hesitate to use them again.

I have an 18 Cubic foot refrigerator/freezer in my barn. Kevin came to check on my freezer not keeping food frozen. He determined it could use a part that heats the thermostat to replicate the appliance being in a home. The environment its in is under 50°F on a regular basis.Once the part was installed everything runs normally. Professional, courteous, committed service. Thank you!

Just purchased a washing machine from Shore TV and Appliance. It was our second purchase there for a household appliance. The customer service is great. They are always very helpful whether in store or on phone. While on the phone with me, they helped me make a decision by comparing a few machines and explaining my options. This was on a Tuesday, by Friday I was doing a load with my new machine. I will definitely continue to patronize this store. I think my dish washer is on its last leg.

Had everything we needed. Ryan a great salesperson, thorough. Delivery of fridge worked out OK but they did not adjust fridge for door to close by itself and we had to readjust. Other appliances were brought in by Bills for hookup. They tested range but never ran dishwasher to insure any leakage (there wasnt but did cause us some anxiety).

The dishwasher was delivered without a necessary part. A salesman drove it to my home so I could complete the installation the same day.Very good communication on delivery time and profesional experienced delivery installation team. That surely says something about the company.All in all I am very pleased we chose Shore Television and Appliance over the big box or online stores. One of the smoothest purchases I’ve ever made, period. Our washing machine, which was not very old to begin with, decided at the last second, to simply stop working. After a tech came out, telling us it would cost a small fortune to repair, we decided to go local, and just get a new one, since it would be right around the same price. Well, they were completely helpful, and helped us pick out the perfect washing machine for our needs. These are things you normally think about in your day-to-day life, until you’re faced with having to make this decision. They were fantastic, and delivered the machine within only a few days. They took the old one away with them, and that was that. I will definitely use them in the future for any number of appliances needs, and keeping it local was definitely the right thing to do

We love Shore TV and Appliances and will never go to another place for appliances, etc. Heres why:A few weeks ago, our 4½ year old Whirlpool washer stopped operating. Kevin from Shore TV came to our house and found the master control panel had burnt out. He told us the cost to replace it would be ~$400. This essentially totaled the machine.I called Tara and asked if there was anything that could be done about it. She told me shed contact her Whirlpool parts rep to see if he could anything about it. Within 24 hours, she called back and told us the part would be replaced at no charge other than the initial service call fee.Its experiences like this one that make us extremely confident in Shore TV and Appliances. Tara and her staff stand behind their customers like very few other stores do. This type of experience would NEVER have happened at a big box store, and were extremely grateful to Tara, Shore TV and Appliances, and Whirlpool for making what couldve been an expensive and arduous situation into a pleasant one.Shore TV and Appliances provides a very good reason to BUY LOCAL!!

Purchasing my new Electrolux washer and dryer was an easy and painless experience. My sales advisor, Jim, was very personable and well-informed while listening to my needs and answering every question that I had. Although I had done my research prior to shopping, Jim presented a wonderful comparison amongst the washers and dryers that I had under consideration until it was easy for me to make my final decision. The entire process took 35 minutes from entering to exiting the store on Saturday morning with delivery and installation scheduled for Monday between 10 and noon. Delivery truck arrived at 10:05 am and after inspecting the best way to access the 27.5” basement door of my restored 1910 Connecticut farmhouse, the job of removing the 27” LG washer and dryer began. Once removed, the new titanium Electrolux washer and dryer were meticulously carried into the basement and installed. I was given a tutorial by the installers as they ran each machine through various cycles to insure that the machines were operating as intended. The entire delivery and installation process was flawlessly completed in just under an hour. It must be noted that Shoreline Television and Appliance best every price out there with the exception of Amazon which would have saved a few dollars but would have required me to move the appliances from my driveway and into my basement on my own with installation and removal of the outgoing appliances my responsibility. Shoreline did it all in a very prompt, professional and personable manner and I give them my absolute highest recommendation.

Unfortunately have to downgrade to a 1 star. I had a tech appointment to assess my refrigerator which had a warm fridge and freezer was functioning perfectly. The tech spent 20 minutes ($132.) but never took any of the interior panels out to look at the coils, never looked at the back at the compressor and yet determined my fridge was not repairable. I did some research and unplugged it for 48 hrs and vacuumed out around the compressor. It has been working now for 3 weeks without any problems. I called and spoke to the owner and manager to address the miss-diagnosis. They were very defensive and refused to consider their tech made an error and offered to send the same tech back. I declined and said I would like a different tech but they never called me back to follow-up. Very disappointed as I do try to support local businesses and my community. Update - 7/1/19- Fridge continues to work perfectly fine and just had a GE expert out to double check and there is nothing wrong with the refrigerator - thankfully I didnt listen to this techs diagnosis. GE didnt even charge me for the visit!

Made the mistake of going to Home Depot. What a disaster!! Will always use Shore Appliance. Everyone(Jim, Gerry, Brett) was very helpful. After, they delivered a refrig, we decided it was too small. Shore exchanged to a larger at no cost, no hassle. We are very lucky to have them along the shoreline.

Working with Gerry and his staff is always a pleasure. They provide sound and sage advice and delivery is on time when they tell you. So pleased and would highly recommend Shore TV to my family and friends.

Went in to buy a water filter for my Bosch refrigerator. I had purchased one there before. The salesman who helped me was belligerent, insisted I never bought this filter there before and although they carry Bosch appliances, he refused to try to locate the proper filter. I left with no filter, and a sense that he just didnt care. I would not be confident buying an appliance there, given the horrible customer service I received.
