After a very poor experience at a dealership here in Clarksville, I purchased tires from a tire store who recommended Honest-1 for a wheel alignment. They got us right in, even had a coupon on the website to use and most important, they were HONEST... after the dealership refused to warranty my tires because of alignment issues (even though they did an alignment when I bought the tires) I wanted to have my vehicle aligned and they provided a computer print out showing the before and after alignment. Turns out the dealership just wanted out of a warranty issue and lost a customer forever, while Honest-1 has gained a lifetime customer for any issue I have from here out. I appreciate their honesty, their speed of service, the value for the money and the bag of animal crackers in my console is still making me smile today! Thank you for being different than all the rest and thank you for providing quality service at a fair price.

I dropped my truck off with them to have suspension work done and their service rider Matt was very helpful and professional. They finished the job in a timely manner and the truck handles much better now. They are reasonably priced, honest, and they do good work. I had an appointment here for my car on a Thursday morning, dropped it off Wednesday afternoon and was told they would text me with the issues before doing any work. 1pm Thursday still no text so I called and was told the tech hadnt even gotten to my vehicle but they would text me when he did. Thursday evening called again, still hadnt touched my car. Friday around noon I called again after hearing nothing and was told it still hadnt even been checked. At that point I told them that was ridiculous and I would be picking it up. What a waste of time! I had to get rides to and from work for two days for my car to just sit in their lot. I still cant believe how awful the service was.

I needed brakes for my car. They were honest in telling me that I only needed my rear brakes done. Very courtesy and polite. I would recommend them very highly to friends and family. Oh yeah, they give military discount too. 😁

I know a lot of people, including me, are skeptical about whether or not mechanics are being shady and trying to take advantage of you...especially if youre a woman or maybe dont know much about vehicles. The guys at Honest-1are straight forward and spell out any issues you might have with your vehicle..in language you can understand. We have a few issues on our high-mileage van, and they talked with us about prioritizing what things need to be fixed now, and which ones we can wait a bit longer to fix. Thats important to me because we dont have the money to fix everything right now, but I can save and plan for fixing the other things. Sadly, they also pointed out that some of the things couldve and SHOULDVE been noticed/mentioned/addressed when they were a less expensive problem and easier to fix....a few things other trustworthy places in town have failed to mention in the last few MONTHS while weve been trying to figure out why some keep happening. Definitely trust Honest-1 and definitely will be addressing these overlooked issues with the management of other establishments in town.

Had an engine diagnostic code checked. Agreed upon repair. Left business and within a few miles, problem cleared on its own. When back and cancelled the service. Both times I was treated with courtesy and respect. I will not hesitate to make use of this business again if needed.

Brought my car in knowing I needed new brakes but also thought I had a wheel baring loose. Turns out it was just brakes needed- so they did not charge me the diagnostics fee for the bearing. Super helpful and communicative. When I went to pay- the gentleman applied two online coupons that I was unaware of (For the brakes and I added an oil change I added since it was already there). The cost was on the low end of what I googled and then the added coupons. I will definitely be back!

I heard a rattling sound like two cans hitting each other, when they did the brake inspection they found a small pebble stuck between the brake and rotor. They did not try to hide that and try to say it was something else. They were very truthful and I was in and out of there. Super nice employees and very clean atmosphere. I will be returning for my car maintenance routines like transmission flush etc. because of how they handled the first visit. Thank you so much.

Very Pleased with the service that I received at Honest 1. From the time that I came in the door they said hello. Very friendly atmosphere and waiting area. Very impressed how they remember the previous vehicle that I owed but did not end up getting service completed there. They had water and a snack for when I was hungry and needed to take medication. Very happy and definitely recommend their service. Alignment also was the cheapest that I could find :).

I had to have my BMW towed here due to a major oil and coolant leak (along with a number of other issues), and the service here was absolutely fantastic. Extremely friendly people, very informative, and very open about the costs and why the parts may be needed or are needed. If you have to take your car anywhere for repairs (and Ive been to quite a few repair shops around town over the past year or so), Id 100% advise taking it to this place. 10/10 Oh, and as a bonus, they left a snack for the road in the car with a note. Very cute, and an exceptionally nice touch. Ive never seen any other repair shop do that before, and I know other people will love it just as much as I did.

They were upfront with expectations and reasonable with the timeline. Work was priced better than another shop as well. Also really like the digital communication, able to access notes/pictures and status via text. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Unlike other shops Ive had to go to over the years, Im 100% confident that the work done here was necessary and done correctly.The waiting room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary drinks and snacks. But best of all is the service. These guys are the best Ive ever dealt with.One recommendation: make an appointment! Theres a reason theyre busy and it takes time to be good and do it right. Honest 1 is a company of good people. Dropped my car off, and because it was gunna be a little bit before my car could get in, (not sure his name? Jayson? Sorry!) offered me a ride home and even came and picked me up when it was finished. As a veteran it feels nice to have guys like honest 1 around.

Always have treated me fairly. I do most of my own work but this place is where I take it when I dont want to or dont have the proper tools. They are top notch.

Honest -1 did great work on my 2011 Acadia that had a leaking head gasket and needed much maintenence as it has 267,000 miles. I dropped it off for diagnostics Saturday, and they send a detailed report with pictures. The price was great and they have a military discount. They finished the work in 3 days and the sun drive 100% better. This is my new auto shop from now on. Give them a try and I believe you will be as satisfied as I am.

So far, they have given excellent customer service, straight forward honesty about the issues with the car, kindness and understanding about my sis’s situation, knowledge and professionalism. They recognized a customer in distress so they stayed about 30-45 min after they were supposed to be closed to help her...knowing she still had to use the car, they helped the problem temporarily until she could get it back in (most places by me would not have done that), their prices are reasonable and given their knowledge and experience, I felt they had a perfect solution to fixing her car problems. Thank you, thank you for your kind business conduct...with me all the way in IL, I was worried my sis would get scammed, as that’s how it is in many other auto places.

This place is awesome. When you make a appointment for a oil change they start working on it right away. I wait about 20 minutes for my car to be finished. There waiting area has comfortable chairs with a tv, complementary sodas and a childrens play area.

Mikes Tire referred me to them to get an alignment. I enjoy the words of encouragement and snacks left behind when the service is complete.

They kept to our schedule & did the work as instructed.

First time customer here. I emailed the folks here about a quote to replace a serpentine belt (parts + labor.) They promptly responded within 2 hours and quoted an estimate. Afterwards, they offered to look at it ASAP and offered alternative times.I had the belt replaced today for a decent cost of ~128 for a 2009 Honda Civic LX. The staff are courteous, professional, friendly, and respectful when it comes to your car. They treat it like their own. The repair lasted about 2 hours. I left happy and would gladly come back here for another repair. Thank you!P.S. Yes, they do honor military discounts.

Im so happy I decided to go to Honest One to have my car looked at! After taking it to a dealership, I was going to have to pay an arm and a leg to get my car repaired. A friend referred me to Honest One and they blew me away. While it wasnt an issue that they could fix due to an issue with the Make, Model, and Year of the car, they provided me with more information than I couldve ever expected them to give me. Michael was very thorough with the information and helped me tremendously. I have no doubt that these workers go beyond the extra mile to help their customers. Will absolutely be returning!

The establishment in Clarksville, Tennessee maybe Honest to Certain Customers, but as a return customer I feel like I have been taken advantage of. As a Retired Army Veteran of over 21 years of service to this Great Country of ours, I feel that this establishment (like many others around town) likes to take advantage of Military Service Members and Veterans! I used to think that supporting Local Businesses like this one is important, due to the Fact that many large franchises are taking over! But, to be Honest, it doesnt really matter because all business minds think the same. For next time, I will do my own repairs and most likely save a Ton of money. I shopped online and found many ways to perform a diagnostic. The (ANCEL AD310 Classic Enhanced Universal OBD II Scanner Car Engine Fault Code Reader) Once you scan for a fault code, you will then be able to look up the code on YouTube and perform the repairs on your own. The problem for me was a bad gas cap, Honest One Auto Care charged me $171.13 for a vehicle diagnostic test and also charged me $15 for labor to install a gas cap as well as the over inflated price for a OE gas cap! Now, hindsight being 20/20 the said scanner only cost about $36.00! It was soooooo simple and easy to use and I found out that not only was the gas cap the problem, but a small EVAP LEAK was still persisting. So I did some research on YouTube and found out what was causing the problem. It was a EVAP PURGE SOLENOID CODE P0456. The part only cost about $23 (Vapor Canister Purge Valve) So Ive drove a couple hundred miles and so far so good! No check engine light came on. So, $36 + $23 = $59 plus tax versus $171.13. Im sure yall can do the math on your own! My Honest opinion is that if you do some research on your own, you will find a better way, a less expensive way to repair your own vehicle! Dont be taken advantage of! This establishment will like most others will rip you off!

I picked up my car 5 minutes before closing, and despite this the clerk was in a good mood and even gave a military discount. I was happy with the service and just as I thought it couldnt get better! Drove in from out of state visiting friends when my brakes started to squeal. Took my car in on a recommendation from our friends. Nothing serious happened with my brakes, thankfully. They just had to clear some debris. But Im thankful that they were able to schedule me on short notice & I liked that they allowed me to come back into the shop & see what caused the issue on my car. Would go there if I lived in the area.

Their name says it all. I have come to honest to have my vehicle repaired after Firestone and a mobile mechanic failed to fix the issue and took me for a very expensive ride (no pun intended). I called honest and spoke with Matt. He had my car in the very same day, fixed up and completely ready to go within 2.5 hours. They were 100% up front about their pricing. The cost for services are extremely reasonable and the service cannot be beat! My only regret is not bringing my car here first!

Came in for a wheel alignment, turns out my tire rod was loose. They let me know my vehicle was still under warranty and to take to the dealership. Very honest and polite, will definitely recommend this place. Thanks a lot

Im a mobile mechanic over 30yrs. Experience in auto industry. Took my personal vehicle to this place & was greeted professionally. Matt is personable & professional. Now I know & im aware of shop supplies cost in addition to certain vehicle services, however on a 4 wheel alignment with mechanical adjustments I could not understand why I was bieng charged 6.65 for shop supplies so I asked Matt about the charge & he explained that fee comes up automatically when an invoice is created, I said I get it but can you justify the fee because aside from using a shop towel which l cant see bieng charged 6.65 for the tech to wipe his hands. what other supplies are entailed for this particular job I came in for. Still Matt did not have a answer. Personally as I own my small business. As a owner you should advise your staff how & when to justify that shop supply fee.i dont have a problem paying fee only if its justified. Overall they corrected my concern with alignment in a fashionable manner.

They are doing exactly how they named their shop. They have made a little mistake (that doesn’t really affect my car issue) but they admitted first and emailed me right away to offer me a free check up that I didn’t even expect. This auto shop knows how to take care of cars with professional manners. I can easily say that this auto care shop is the best shop I’ve ever been so far. I don’t know much of cars but I can leave my car to this shop without worrying about ripping me off with all the costs like some of the other shops have done to me.

In less than 5 minutes they lied on 4 topics of fact and tried to charge me for all new custom bent brakes lines when they are cheap and available online. Tried to get over 1000 dollars for a 35 dollar line...lying scabs

Excellent staff and excellent service. I was traveling on freeway headed to the gulf around 3:30 pm when i noticed a front end noise on my van. I called Honest 1 and they said they could take a look fairly quickly. Matt ??was awesome and understood i needed to get back on road ASAP. Vehical was in for inspection at 4:00pm, new brakes and wheel bearing installed, and back on road by 6pm. Unbelievable service at a fair price.

I am a first time car owner and I was definitely nervous about going to an auto repair shop and getting ripped off. However, the employees here were so friendly and helped me through what I thought was going to be a simple alignment but turned out to be a bigger problem with the tire suspension. I am so grateful for how they walked me through exactly what the problem was and what they were going to do, and they fixed the problem right on the spot in no time at all. I even left the lot after the repair and noticed that the plastic shield under the car was loose, and I turned right around and they fixed that and a small problem with my fender free of charge. Not only was the service impeccable, but the office is clean and comfortable and I didnt mind waiting there. I will definitely be coming back for all my car needs in the future!

After getting quoted $90 to $100 for an oil change at most of the rapid oil service shops here in Clarksville, the price here was $30 less, and the gentlemen at the front desk applied a coupon that I didnt even know about to mine to bring the price down even further. The staff seemed friendly in a way that didnt imply Im obligated to be friendly because I get paid to be friendly. It seemed genuine. I will 100% return to this place for all my services from now on.

Possibly my best experience at an auto shop, and it was my first time using them. They were fairly priced and finished early on major repair/replacement work. I was recommended to them from a friend and Ill only use them from now on.I had already visited two other auto shops that were unable to fix my truck and priced the repairs to a point that I had to consider buying a new vehicle. Honest-1 poured over my truck, and found the issue that the other two places couldnt. They explained the issues and answered all questions I had thoroughly. It required major work, but they were fairly priced, finished the work early, and set me up with a 3-yr warranty AND will pay for a tow job themselves should the issue happen again. Its been two weeks and its been running like new. Honest-1 lives up to their name, I cant recommend them enough.

We came to this business because we had the check engine light come on during a drive home. We first got a free diagnosis at AutoZone and had all information in hand when arriving at this business. They still charged us $75 dollars to do there own diagnosis. I don’t find this charge reasonable since we already knew the cause of the problem. Additionally, the response from the owner shows the business lacks transparency with its customers. If the business is not able to honor a previous diagnosis it should be addressed upon service being performed. It should also be noted the owner attempts to introduce new information to divert from the original issue. The owners response should be a red flag when choosing this business for your vehicle needs.

I took my 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser to honest 1 Auto Care in July 2019 after hearing an radio ad on Way Fm. I quickly realized there is nothing Honest about this company.My vehicle has a bad misfire, I am very mechanically inclined, I replaced all the plugs and wires and cleaned the injectors and could not find the issue so I took it here. To my surprise in less than a few hours Mike gives me a call and states that when they looked at my oil level that it had no oil and car appeared to been overheated. My car had just had an oil change prior to me taking it in So I know it was full of oil. Also my car has never overheated.Mike told me since the car had no oil it may have caused damage to the turbo and would need replaced.Also was told it had a blown head gasket. I know of a head gasket is blwon what to look for and I had now signs of a blown head gasket. Mike said they do t go that deep into repairs when I questioned him the price to replace the head gasket that all they could do was replace the motor.I asked for a quote and was told that Jasper did not have any of that motor available and mine motor would have to be sent off for a rebuild and the total be around $12,000.I immediately picked up my car from them and took it to another shop for an estimate. The new shop said the head needed rebuilt due to a burnt valve and that the head showed no signs of overheating. Total repair estimate for the new shop was $1800 from my pocket because Honest 1 mentioned overheating so therefore my auto warranty denied the claim.So Honest 1 over charges and does unnecessary repairs. Since there bogus estimate it ended up costing me to lose my warranty and $1800.So never take your vehicle to this shop.

Never once had an issue with this place until recently and it was a big one. Went about 2 weeks ago for an oil change, the guy at the desk informed me that all was good however if any issues came up to come back. Fast forward to yesterday, on vacation in SC with my boyfriend before I PCS to Korea and was heading home and my check engine light started flashing and my car stopped running any faster than 60 mph. Pulled over to figure out the issue (turned out to be a recall issue) and in the process discovered my oil pan was cracked and was leaking oil bad enough it couldn’t be driven. Had it towed to a Hyundai Dealership and when they looked at it today they informed me that the people who did the oil change last had cracked the oil pan when tightening it and fixed it just enough where it wasn’t super obvious. Unfortunately they were unable to get parts until tomorrow so we are stuck in a random town for another day. This has costed be not only $650 in hotels, parts, and rentals but 2 days of leave I was supposed to spend with family before I go overseas for a year. Very disappointed and even more so upset I can’t even go and argue this with this dealership as I am leaving the US.Editing this review:Tucker replied to my review very quickly and was able to help me out with the costs of repairs with just some photos of paperwork. Ive been using Honest 1 going on 4 years now. Honest 1 is the only place Ill go to in town. I had a horrible experience at a leading competitor and I went to Honest 1 and havent regretted it yet.Pros: Very honest. They are totally transparent in all the work and pricing.Cons: Theyve become so popular you have to have an appointment. They are also a bit pricey, but its completely worth it.

I am very pleased with the sevice and dedication this establishment offered to my wife in my absence. It really helps a lot. So much that i am trusting them to fix my jeep in the upcoming days. My wife is very happy to have her van back.

I was visiting Clarkesville when I had trouble with my truck . I needed a mechanic and luckily I found Honest. They were awesome, very friendly and helpful. Great service very nice facility and snack and Bible verse was icing on the cake! Keep up the good work. God bless

Worst service ever. Tried to say our fix would be $2000. Tried to take advantage of the fact that Im a woman. So I took it to a better shop and the fixes that need to be done plus labor is $850. If I could give 0 stars I would. This shop is completely ridiculous and tried to take me for a fool. Stay far away. They will steal every penny you have

I recently had the pleasure (not often you can say that when going to an auto care shop!) of doing business here.I had to evacuate from FL during Hurricane Irma. Half way to TN I heard my breaks squeaking. By the time I reached my destination they were completely grinding the rotors. This just added stress to what was already a stressful situation.I arrived at Honest1 and Will greeted me with smiles and complete helpfulness.I also had two children ages 2 and under with me, who after being cooped in the car for 20 hours (Traffic was horrendous from all the evacuees!) they were anxious to stretch out their legs. The staff was understanding and did not make me feel embarrassed for their running and playfulness.They gave me a fair price, got me in and out, offered a loaner car if mine had to stay and overall made this experience enjoyable.Will displayed great customer service and was a pleasure to talk to. He went above and beyond for my kids and I. Because of his kindness and positive attitude I was able to leave the shop with nothing but smiles.Thank you to the entire staff, you are proof that a little bit of kindness goes a long way!

Great place and they do great Work

I am so iffy on trusting auto places. I read reviews here and decided to give them a chance. They were so amazing. They were friendly, helpful, they explained everything and answered every single one of my million questions. They offer military discounts. I took my car in at 730am and I had it back by 2pm. There was more than enough work that I wasnt expecting my car back for at least a day or two. They made sure to explain their warranty completely. They truly treated me like family. I HIGHLY recommend them, they are amazing. Not to mention they also left a snack on my passenger seat once my car was done. So impressed and so so happy. Thank you Honest 1!!

They got my car fixed up and safe for the road. I was updated at every turn and if they found something wrong they would talk to me about it but never did I feel pressured to buy something. Hands down the best experience. The place was also clean, they offered free snacks and drinks, and it was heated. Thank you guys!
