These guys are awesome! I had called about having troubles getting the screws out of my license plate and they told me to come right over. Once I got there they got right to work and with some elbow grease were able to help me out. They took time out of there busy Friday afternoon to help me with a silly little task. Great service. My insurance company gave me two choices for body shops in Clarksville. The first one I went to was rude and acted as though they would be doing me a favor - I cancelled with them. Bumpus repaired our Honda Accord Coupe after it was damaged in a wreck. It was the entire driver’s side and was pretty significant. They were very upfront about the timeline for repair. Kept us updated during repairs. And did a fantastic job repairing the car. The car was a 10/10 before the wreck, and is a 10/10 after their repair work. Ben and the crew were awesome to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs body work/paint done. Best in North / Middle TN in our opinion. Fantastic people.

I hit a deer right before ALL the major holidays, and it was deer season. It was definitely their busy season so my car took a little longer than normal to get fixed but when I got it back it looked like a deer never touched my car! Though it took awhile, I’m still happy with the outcome of how my car looks! Quality of work was good, but if I had not checked their work prior to leaving I wouldnt have noticed they forgot to install a part. Had to order it and wait another week. They are extremely busy so it may be a slow turn around. It was also deep into deer season, lots of deer impacts. Employees were top notch too. Very polite.

I initially contacted Ben Bumpus by phone to see if he could adjust the dash on my 1979 Trans Am. He was very pleasant and willing to take a look at it and see if his shop could perform the needed adjustment. I drove the TA in and he had the adjustment work done in less than an hour. I couldn’t believe it, my Trans Am is 41 yrs old and very rare. I asked Ben how much I owed him, and he told me not to worry about, because the work time was so little. His shop has worked on my mother- in-laws car and my car a couple of years ago. A Great place to have your vehicle repaired. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. Thank you....

I have used Bumps several times however this time my work was incomplete and when I called I could never talk to anyone or I was promised a call back and rushed off the phone e and that was almost 2 months ago. Ben and his team did a great job. I was rear ended and they replaced the bumper and side quarter panel on my Toyota Tacoma.I received a call from Ben within an hour of USAA sending over my claim. Ben was very clear up front with setting expectations and communicating lead times. All parts came in on time and the truck was repaired on time with no delays. When I picked it up the tailgate had been wired reverse so the lock didn’t function properly. They quickly took it back and had it fixed within 5 minutes. The whole team was super friendly and a delight to work with throughout the whole process. I will always trust Bumpus with all my auto body needs. Another plus is I was able to pick up and drop off my rental right there at the auto shop and not have to chase or find rides.

Helped me out tremendously was I was in a bind. I damaged the spoiler on my vehicle when backing out of my garage (the garage door looks worse than the car) and I was quoted $2600 as they would need to replace the entire back gate. This vehicle is 5 years old and paid off. The damage is super cosmetic and at the top of the suv so i didnt want to have to go through insurance for this. instead they epoxyed the damage, free of charge and Im super happy. Thank you Graeme!

We have used Ben to repair our vehicles for years. My daughter scraped the bottom of her car on some concrete, and Ben said that repainting would be really expensive, and touch up paint might be a better alternative. He touched it up and didnt charge us anything. When I offered to pay him, he said that he had a lot of touch up paint on hand, and he wouldnt take any money for doing it. He takes care of his repeat customers!! I wouldnt use ANYBODY else in Clarksville to repair my vehicles. Ben is the best!!

I just recently moved here and was in search of a good body shop after my bumper came loose driving down the highway. I was worried that the cost would be outrageous considering the amount of damage that’d been done to the car, in addition to the backup camera sensors that broke off. Im always a little nervous taking my car in for any kind of service, especially to a place I’ve never been before. I looked up body shops in my area and came across Bumpus Body Shop. After looking at all of the great reviews I figured I’d check them out for myself. The staff was very friendly and explained exactly what they planned to do to fix my car without having to replace the entire bumper. Not only did they do a fantastic job reattaching my bumper, but it was far less than I was expecting to pay. Needless to say, I was very happy with the service I received, and I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and family for their future body shop needs.

Took my car in to have it looked at from a minor accident to my front bumper and also asked about getting a quote on an existing rust spot. 3 days later I still hadn’t heard of a status on when they could start working on my car so I called them. BEN stated that he had tried calling “several” times and had left “several” voicemails. Not true. I did not receive 1 call and I even verified my number with him. We were eventually told that because of COVID, the parts would take longer to get, about 3 weeks and the rust spot would probably be over $1,000.We took my car to a different body shop and WHILE I WAS THERE, they made a phone call and said they could get the parts in TWO days! They also gave me 2 options of how to fix the rust spot and both were well under $1,000...needless to say we DID NOT use Bumpus. Very poor customer service.And also let me add this, BEN-yes I’ve read your reviews. And I know if anyone leaves you a bad review, you make a comment back. If it bothers you that much, then don’t read them :)

My husband has worked for a few auto groups over the years. This has entailed working with managers in sales, service, body shops, etc... So I get to hear and see the good, the bad and the ugly. Because of this I am very aware of good customer service and integrity in the auto industry when I see it. This morning was my first experience with Bumpus Body Shop. From the moment I walked into the office I watched and listened to employer/employee interactions with customers. I have to say Im very impressed. The courtesy and respect I saw given to each customer, whether in person or by phone, was by far some of the best customer service Ive seen. What I appreciated most was the different options that the owner gave us for bodywork that needed to be done. He was not hesitant to tell us the cheapest option, but also gave us the more expensive option to totally replace the entire section. He also helped me evaluate the age of the car and if the more expensive option would be worth the investment. Ultimately, I knew that he was more concerned about doing the right and honest thing instead of making a huge sale for himself. My husband appreciated his honesty, as well, and as a result we will never go anyplace else for bodywork. Work was done very well, staff was very friendly, and it was done quickly and efficiently. They replaced and painted my fender the same day as I dropped it off and cleaned the exterior of my car as well as replaced an exterior part that was missing without me asking as well as dropped off $40 off of what I was paying. Highly pleased with their service.

I have heard nothing but good about this shop. I bought a brand new car and after a week a young driver backed into me. It wasnt really damaged, the paint was only thing effected. It wasnt really much to turn into insurance over. I took it to them to get a estimate and they told me bring it in the next morning and they could buff it out. Next morning they had me in and out, 30mins at most. Barley see a scratch. They know their stuff. And nobodys insurance went up or had a bill to worry about over the holidays. Best gift ever! They just earned all my business hands down and you wont find another shop like them.

Hi all. I had some body work done and I choose Bumpus Body Shop and have to tell you how well they did. I needed to have some work done to the front of the car so I dropped it off first thing in the morning. Later In day, they called and said it was ready for pick-up. When I had first visited to get an estimate, they were polite, exact in the cost of the repairs needed and gave me a reasonable timeline for the work to be completed. They did what they said exactly as they described. If you need to have auto body work done, do yourselves a favor and see these great folks. They will take care of you, your car, and will go easy on your wallet.

5 Stars says it all. This was my second time visiting Bumpus Body Shop in Clarksville. The first was to have new bumpers installed on my 2008 Toyota Solara. Expertly done! Ive received numerous compliments on my car ever since.This time, I had to have a new windshield wiper fluid reservoir installed. Again, expertly done while I waited. No lag time either. And the big surprise was no charge since an apprentice did the work. (I supplied the part. Too complicated for me to do the install though.)Yep, Ill be going back for a third time if the need arises. They are the best in Middle Tennessee!

My wife took her car here because of our son hitting a deer. Took a long time to get parts in they said because it was a Volvo, possible back order issue, kinda understood that. Car insurance was not happy about having rental car so long. They called and said car was ready, picked it up and before we got it home parts were literally falling off. Trim parts, door light but they are still parts that were replaced by them. Called took it back they refixed issues, except the door light. It fell out of door again. After several attempts to get new part is no good. I decided to go talk to the people, they said they would check on it and call me the next day, because of lack of proof of issues due to the man who handled it had quit. This happened in March and got it back in May. Still no one has bothered to call. Ive been told that this shop is no good, use the other Bumpus shop, didnt know this till they had the car. I do not recommend this shop at all.

I had gotten into an accident and I had heard of them so I decided to take it there. It took a good week or so for my car to be repaired. They set me u with a decent rental. Came back once it was finished and it looked perfect. Id recommend these guys; they do it right and dont screw you over.

This morning someone backed into my van in the school parking lot. The damage was minor, except the drivers side door wouldnt fully open. I took it to Bumpus to see how much it would cost to fix it so the door would open. The gentleman came right out to look at it, went inside to get a tool, fixed it right up and didnt charge me anything. Even though it was a quick and easy fix, most body shops would have charged a fee. Excellent customer service!

Lack of communication was the main problem after 3 weeks and 3 wrong radiators i was told it was being wrapped up and id be given a call in about an hour, 2 hours passed so i called and the guy handling it had left, at 330 but i got it by closing time. A little more communication to customers and within the office would make it much better.They replaced the radiator and when I got the truck home there was transmission fluid and antifreeze dripping from the radiator support from it not being wiped offed after the repair.

Great experience start to finish! Probably the best business experience Ive ever had in Clarksville! An extremely professional team that took care of everything from ensuring that my rental car was set up and ready to do to extended when the job ran a a bit longer than expected. They kept me updated with daily emails to inform me of progress and phone calls when major issues came up. I would recommend Bumpus to anyone requiring certified Nissan repair and any other collision repair.

Even tho it cost them a sale they gave me an honest answer. I would definitely go back in future if needed.

Decided to finally save myself from the headache and took it to a much more competent auto body shop (West Auto Body) who finally fixed my vehicle from your lack of craftsmanship. We brought my car in on 11/12/18. we needed help/an opinion on if we should take something off or get it fixed and if they were able to do that today for us. They said they were typically pretty busy on Monday’s with appointments (which was understandable) and asked if it would be okay to bring the car back tomorrow to have them check it all out. My husband was off today and asked if they could fix it when they had a chance today and we’ll just leave the car here. But instead one of the guys insisted that they’ll find someone who will do it right now at the shop and get it taken care of for us today instead of tomorrow since my husband was off. Great customer service & super kind to help us out. We’ll be coming here more often for any work on our cars
