Went into Best Buy, Citrus Heights, CA location on Friday morning, October 29, 2021. The store opened 2 minutes early and I just happened to be outside the store early to enjoy the early entry into the store. (I received notification that my new item was ready for pick up at the store.)When I walked in the store I was greeted and acknowledged. When I got to the Customer Service/Returns/Pick up line it already had a line about 10 people deep with one person at the register. I was immediately disappointed. But literally not for long, within seconds a second person opened a register, and greeted people, then a third person opened up. The line moved quickly and swiftly. Joann assisted me, she totally listened to me 100%, she was spot on accurate and understood my request. Vicki also worked with me to finish the transaction. She was equally enthusiastic about good service and happy to help me. She explained all of the details and completed everything accurately. I was pleased and happy. Thank you for exceptional service. Thank you for the high degree of sensitivity to your customers. All appreciated.

The only Best Buy stores I have purchased from are in the Sacramento area but Id each of regions are as customer friendly and helpful it is probably the best for customer service if any home and personal electronics chains.A typical visit:. I was visiting family a number of years ago when a new high performance pro camera was introduced by Nikon, D800. It was in very big demand and the large mail-order camera stores were 6 months backlogged. I had been living in another country where they would not be available for several months. Some dealers has increased the price from $3750 to $5000. When I entered I was greeted as usual smiling welcoming staff and this time it was by a young enthusiastic woman who asked if I wanted anything in particular (I had bought 4 laptops and many computer accessories from the same store in the past).I was only looking for a cable but mentioned u really wanted the D800 camera. She said she did know what it was but if it was available she would search until she found one. I was flying out in 4 days and was sure she could not find one.I gave her my card after buying the cable and left. She called to say she found out what the camera was and she was searching store by store in the inventory data system on and off for two days and reported she down two, one in southern California and the other in Florida. She arranged a stock exchange from the one only 600 miles away.At the last minute the store manager stopped the transfer because local customers wanted it. With just hours to go before my flight she convinced the manager of the Florida store to send it overnight. I picked up my new camera on the way to the airport. What store has staff so dedicated to pleasing customer? Every encounter before or or since has been the most helpful and enthusiastic.

Do not get your phone screens replaced here!!!! I suggested that my dad replace his XS max screen at this location because they use genuine Apple parts so I figured he would get a better product then those 3rd party places. There are many repair shops to charge a third of the price.Several months later and there are huge lines on his screen and within a day the amount of lines multiplied and got bigger and bigger. No other damage on the screen whatever. Phone is in pristine condition. And now they’re telling my dad that because it’s been longer than three months and that he has to pay another $350 to replace the screen. Horrible customer service. And my dad‘s phone is literally dying as we speak so now he has no choice but to pay another 350 for another screen. I would expect much better customer service and guarantees from a big company like this. Not happy with the lack of accountability of selling us a defective product. Manufacturing warranties exist for a reason. Apparently Best Buy is exempt.

Had to find and decide on my own stuff. When I asked questions from the employees was pointed to where I cd find the items but no offer to help/upgrade etc. Over and above Service does not seem to be this stores priority which is a shame as I am in the market for a new computer. I will probably go to a best buy, but not at the citrus heights location. That being said, the items I did purchase were quality and everything works.

Took 45 minutes to get help. None of the actual items I was looking for from the website were on display. Only reason for 2 stars was the cashier who sent me to customer service to test. The customer service person got mad and wanted to know who exactly sent me their way for an open box item. She was nicer after confirmation but anyone who wants to try an open box return should be handled way nicer.

I honestly have no idea how this place is in business. They have zero intention of providing a service in a service economy.Cant call them. You get routed to a call center that doesnt pick up a phone after being on hold forever. If you want anything, you have to drive there and ask. No one knows what they are talking aboutThe last time I was there, I purchased two cameras for my car. Before I left with a quote for installation of $60 each which matched a review online. I go back to schedule the appointment to have them installed and they quoted me hundred and something each and told me they only carry appointments during times when the good members of society are working. Id also have to wait over a month for an appointment.Ill find someone to do it elsewhere.

Negative rating is for the corporation and not this store. We bought a Geek Squad service contract for a new refrigerator. When we attempted to contact them to schedule a service call, we were either placed on unacceptable wait times (30-40 minutes) or disconnected after 20 minutes. When we were sold the contract, we were told that the service scheduling and many other services could be done using their app. When we went to use the app, there was a message that directed us to call for a service call and there were no useful services available. After a few weeks of trying to call for a service appointment, we decided to go to our local Best Buy store to see if they could schedule the service. We were told they may have to charge us to schedule the service call, but tried to intervene on our behalf by calling the number we had been using. The service rep also was placed on hold for over 50 minutes before being told that he was in a queue that would last about 7 minutes. The customer rep finally gave up after 15 minutes of receiving the queuing message. The customer rep was very apologetic about the problem and didnt really know where to direct us to get resolution. Ultimately, while we were winding up our visit to the store, we used the Contact us section of the Best Buy website to get help via a chat window. The chat rep was able to help us schedule a service call in a few minutes.

I used curbside pickup and was patiently waiting for purchase to be brought to me, however I realized it was taking a lot longer then usual. An employee who had already helped curbside for a customer walked passed my truck and stopped to ask me if I needed help and of course I did, so the gentleman that was dealing with curbside purchases, couldnt find my order so he went back into store to find out where my purchase was and I was on my phone figuring out where my order was and for some reason a different store was listed for me to pick up purchase. So long store short employee from Best buy when above and beyond customer service for me without even asking for his help. Very impressed. There needs to be more people like the gentleman employee who ROCKED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I received.

My experience was decent. I go there sporadically for minor things or a sale, but I do my research and know they can be a little pricey compared to other locations. On this occasion I was looking for car door speakers which they didnt have what I needed. Not their fault. Ever since the height of covid, vendors and deliveries have suffered immensely. So like them, many stores keep many things at the warehouse and have them delivered directly or to the store after you pay. The search Continues

Glad Best Buy is still around. I like this store. Not too crowded and well stocked. Staff members are quite, knowledgeable, respectful and helpful at same time. I like that I can still get a feel for the products youre shopping for and not take a chance with ordering stuff online and end up returning it. I went to buy a bluray set and the price is great and also came with digital movie codes to boot.

The girls that worked in the phone area does not set up the phone for me because she says they cant. But when there is a male there they do it for me. I been to this bestbuy 3+ times to get a tracphone. I dont know if its because of she isnt qualified to do it or if she is lazy. I understand it is a hassle to do,, but to my knowledge its her job.. When I go back soon to get another phone I will not go to this location.

Usually Best buy is fantastic memorial day however was frustrating the store was not that busy and I waited almost 40 minutes in the appliance area and finally had to track down another employee to help me. Employees would come over to the appliance area look at me and walk away. I was frustrated as one young man was explaining a warranty to two women of course good looking for over 30 minutes while there was a line of people waiting. Although I did make a purchase today it was frustrating to see employees just standing around. On the other side of that the cashiers were great customer service was great. Im a contractor and all I can say is sales staff watch out you can be replaced

Antonio and Bryce are gems of the computer section. These guys have your absolute best interest in mind and made me feel completely comfortable with the entire sale process. I highly advise anyone who goes to Best Buy in Citrus Heights ask for them specifically when making any computer related purchases. If TJ their manager is reading this, please give them a raise as it would suck to lose such assets to your store location.These guys go above and beyond... This place has great garden plants, I think they have a better supplier than Walmart or Home Depot. I really get a good crop since I have been buying tomato plants from them. Good quality garden and outdoor products and decorations too.

Purchased a speaker on 5/6 and returned today 5/27. The gentleman stated i have 30 days to return when i bought it, which was not true. When i returned it i could only get store credit which is nonsense. The manager was no help either. He came and act like he was going to try and over pass the system with a code but literally was there for 30 seconds and walked away. Like im literally only a week late. Give your customers a brake! I will be calling/emailing corporate tomorrow.

Staff is able to find item in store that seems a bit disorganized an missing items. Got a wifi range extender, a 65 in tcl budget TV, and a 3.5 mm male to male stereo patch cable (not sure where it came from). There ware no tcl sets plugged in for viewing comparison, but went with online reviews and desire for Roku based system. Added the extended warranty. They helped load into SUV.

I needed a modem in a hurry. Without any prior research, I went in with only 15 minutes left before the store closed. A very nice, very experienced, girl helped me. She showed me the available modems and recommended one that she uses at home. She said it is the one that Comcast usually suggests as a replacement for their modem/router.So I was out the door inside eight minutes. I was absolutely thrilled.In addition, the store is big and has lots of choices. It is clean and bright and well organized. The three employees that I talked to were all delightful and very helpful.I would recommend this Best Buy any time.

The extended warranty is a rip off.Geek Squad did NOT only replace the part, but broke another!!! They didn’t make a claim. We’ve been 4 days without a tv, now waiting for the new parts that the two incapable techs broke.After 7 hours on the phone I was finally given the number of the insurance company to make a claim. Now we have to wait another 48 hours.You can’t talk to a live body, they don’t care. Best Buy SUCKS

I buy all electronics and appliances here. I like having them installed and my old one taken away. Fast, quality installation. Ive had great service in every department. Most recently, Mike in kitchen appliances was awesome! He gave me his extension in case I had any issues and was very knowledgeable. One doesnt always find that anymore. I like the products at this store. I recently bought a laptop that I love, but I have a problem with their store policy. I originally placed an order online for the laptop. Checked my store account the day before pickup and I was informed the item was sold out. I never received an email either. If I never checked I would have been sitting at curbside pickup for no reason. Then I noticed the money was refunded, but there was no official refund notice from my bank or Best Buy and no announcement that the store would take the money out of my account if a laptop became available. So, needless to say Best Buy contributed to an overdrawn account because they never stated they would withdrawal the price of the laptop again once it became available. If this behavior is in the fine print then I would like to see it with my own eyes. It seem like this policy can be bad for business.

Any day I get to go to best buy is a good day in my book. Always had a good experience dealing with them, one of my favorite places to shop this includes all the locations in my vicinity and there are several which is great because when one does not have what I need usually the next one does. If you know what you are going for it makes it easier though because occasionally Ive been given incorrect audio install parts but was no big deal cause I got to go back again! Will also price match which is icing on the cake!

I was there Saturday before Christmas. I wanted to have my order brought to car. It took a few hrs longer than they said, but it was a very busy day. The email came so I went and I just parked followed the instructions and got my order. I did notice the store was very busy. I did not want to go in because of that. I think we should all do it best no to get sick so when it comes time for your shot your not sick. Or they wont give it to you.Definitely order and have them bring to your car.

I refuse to give this store any of my money. The clerks were rude, sarcastic and unprofessional and when I asked to speak to a manager instead, he soon showed and was no better. They expect you to stand around forever waiting for assistance and then show up with an attitude.

Worst ever....went in to get cables for my new series 8 Samsung Chrystal Clear UHD TV.....THAT WAS DELIVERED LATE AFTER FATHERS DAY! well customer service decided to give me a $50 best buy card......well let me tell you I thought I wS having to fill out a survey....unbelievable! No card ever came by email . No were so sorry we ruined your fathers day... not a thing and get this...the manager couldnt check on the card cause he couldnt get thru to customer service....so guess what best buy! In my experience the advise given at this store is usually directed towards spending more rather than getting the right item for the purpose you want it. Im not a fan of the Buy More philosophy. This store is slightly better than the Roseville store but not by much. Its soundly in the /Meh+ range.

If I could give zero stars I would, Im so frustrated with Best Buy. All I want is someone to return my call regarding the new tv I recently purchased but thats proving to be unattainable. Its nice but the security definitely judges people by the basics of appearance. Theyll stake out your car if you are waiting for a disabled person and treat you like a criminal. I understand its their job. But they shouldnt be photographing customers cars when they have no reason to.

The store wasnt busy but did request that everyone who entered wore a mask. We did our shopping and left. We were not pressured during our shopping not.one time.
