We are over the moon ecstatic about the experience we had walking into the VW dealership in Cherry Hill. From the moment we sat in Tom’s chair and spoke with him on the various Volkswagens that were available, I knew that we were in the hands of someone we could trust.Tom made my husband and I feel as though we were family. He was friendly, direct, and efficient in helping us navigate the process of discovering the features of the various vehicles and options. We trusted him, and he made the process seamless. We felt empowered and supported to make the best VW choice for our family.Looking for a new car had been on my list of the most undesirable things to do on a Friday, however my mind was forever changed based on the experience we had. Cannot speak highly enough of my car buying experience working with Tom! Almost all car companies are facing inventory issues as a result of the pandemic right now. Tom didnt let that stop him from helping find the right car for me. He followed up with me almost daily to keep me updated on what cars were coming into the dealership that week. Through his persistence, the perfect car for me eventually popped up...and I couldnt be more thrilled with my purchase! Go visit Tom– you wont be disappointed!

I did not enjoy my experience with the service part of this dealership. I had my car towed in and did not receive any update for at least 3-4 days. When I finally got someone on the phone, they had said they didnt have my all of information to contact me. However, I gave my full name, email and phone number to the person who scheduled my appointment, so I would think that information would get passed along. Someone then told me it would be a few days to a week for my car to get done. I waited *two weeks* before reaching out again for an update, and my car was ready within a few hours. I completely understand that maybe theyre busy or it took a while for my parts to get there, but some form of communication wouldve been appreciated if it was going to be a little longer than a week.A week after getting my car back, my battery died. I was due for a new battery, but Im sure having it sitting at the dealership for at least three weeks, not being driven or started, did not help.The one positive thing I will say is that I had a few recalls on my car and when I asked the person who scheduled my appointment if I could get that taken care of while my car is there, they said no, and it would have to be a separate appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my invoice that the recalls had been taken care of, so thank you for that.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jared D. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable. He was completely respectful and sympathetic to my feelings towards my trade-in Beetle. Jared made trading in my Beetle a lot easier than I ever thought it would be, both financially and emotionally. This was the most STRESS FREE car buying experience I have EVER had! This is the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever dealt with. My car has been with the service department for over a week now and the car still has not been looked at. I have called every day since the vehicle was dropped off and there has been no resolution at all. I highly recommend against taking your vehicle to this dealership at all costs.

Outstanding!I wanted to take the time to write a review for Cherry Hill Imports VW - specifically highlighting the outstanding experience I had with sales consultant Chris Szary.From our initial conversation over the phone… right down to the end prior to driving off the lot with my new 22 Tiguan. He was professional and pleasant to work with. He fully understood what I was hoping to accomplish and made it happen! Communication was clear and always got back to me promptly. Never felt pressure. Did not plays games and feed me bs. Whole process was smooth and easy. We took care of most business ahead of time and when arrived all I had to do was to check out the new car and get the deal finalized. I drove over 100 miles to this dealership and when I got there everything was exactly as we discussed. No surprises!!! If you are in the market for a new VW I highly recommend Chris!!! I bought a car from this dealership during the great microchip shortage of 2021 and I drove about 1 hour and 30 minutes on a rainy day to give Matthew A. the sale here because of his professionalism, maturity, respect, and overall ease of the sale. He could not have made the process simpler and answered all of my questions promptly and clearly. We did 95% of the sale through text/e-mail. After I told him what I was looking for and we agreed on numbers, I placed a deposit for a vehicle. Fast forward from that moment to about 10 days later, I was literally driving the car home. I would also like to mention he was very competitive with his price. In fact, no other dealers came close, especially at a time like this. I paid $808 and waited about 2 hours to have my vehicle serviced on 3/11/21 for my VW. Later that night a check engine light appeared. I asked the guys the day of the service if they had found any issues. They failed to point out a leaking oil pump I had yet to fix. There are more issues and details i will provide as soon as i follow up with them today.

Took my car here for a water leak in trunk area to have it fixed under warranty. They fixed the issue but not before scratching my roof. They offered to fix it but I didn’t feel confident having a dealership detailer fixing something they already messed up. Also it has to be wet sanded professionally and the car is ceramic coated so the ceramic coating has to be re-applied professionally and I don’t think they could handle the job. I thought I could have warranty work done without having my car scratched. I have also been ignored by the service writer Kevin after he texted me saying I would receive a survey and to please leave 5 stars as it’s a report card. I never received it and wouldn’t be leaving 5 stars after my car was scratched due to carelessness. I am disappointed and will likely go elsewhere for warranty work.

The check engine light came on in my 2019 Jetta and I took it to this location after an inconclusive result from autozone. After being ignored by the staff for 20 minutes and waiting 2 days for this appointment the gentleman assisting me automatically attempted to charge me 149 dollars despite the car being under warranty. After informing him it was still under warranty, and after telling him it was checked at autozone previously with a an indecipherable code on autozone’s part, his response was this charge was due to some arbitrary handwritten phantom charge. All in all a very frightening and sketchy interaction. Please take your business elsewhere.

Terrible and costly experience with the service department of this location, to the tune of almost $4,000. In the past, I’ve shied away from this dealership when it comes service unless I needed a recall update. Every visit the service writers would attempt to up sell me absurd things like brake fluid changes for $225 at 40k miles. As fate would have it, my car started experiencing stalling at 110k mi. My local mechanic informed me I would have to visit a dealership since they would have to use proprietary computers to diagnose my issue. This dealership told me I would need new camshafts to rectify my issue, over $3,500 worth of work. I was hesitant because the car was 6 years old and already had 112k mi, total value about $7,000. Since the last car payment was just a month prior to this incident, I decided to do the repair because I did not want to buy a new vehicle and this car was in otherwise fantastic shape (so I thought). I green lighted the repair and picked my vehicle up a week later. When I picked it up, guess what? A check engine light was on as soon as I started it. Sent the car back, was called back the next day and and told the mechanic simply forgot to reset the light . Well, I drove the car home, and the very next day the vehicle started with the original symptoms again. Of course, here I am coming back to the dealership. Four days later, the service writer (Kevin), tells me that they called VW and were given instructions to do a software update. This fixed the issue. I did my due diligence on VW owner forums and was informed that VW has been fixing the misfiring issues that I had with a software update for over 6 years. So, nothing was wrong with my camshafts, and likely just a camshaft sensor and software update needed. Here I am out of $3500 and VW corporate does nothing to assist me with the problem I am having with this dealerships negligence and incompetence. To make this matter ten fold worse, my car started showing an oil pressure warning just weeks later. Thinking it could (hoping) be connected to the software update, I returned to VW after 7 days of being ignored by the person handling my repairs (Kevin). Cowardly not wanting to face me after advising me to waste money on an unnecessary repair, he has an assistant call me to schedule a new appointment. I bring my vehicle back for diagnosis. The next day, I am told that my vehicle has a rear main seal leak and the repair would be $2,300. Now, I have photographs of the engine during this entire repair process so that I could document the work being performed on my vehicle, and after reviewing them, I can confirm unequivocally that the car had this issue at the time of the $3500 repair which they advised me to do. Kevin attempted to insist that this issue did not exist when they first worked on my car, but my documentation proves otherwise. To throw dirt in my face, I was billed $185 for them to diagnose this rear main seal leak. It is for reasons like this that customers have a very hard time trusting dealerships with their out of warranty auto service. The incompetence in this case ranged from the service writer on through the mechanics, and I am the one left holding the bag. I left that last conversation (after paying a $185 Bill) with Kevin and drove straight to Honda to by a new Accord. One can only hope that I have better luck and MUCH better service there. PLEASE, Do not chalk this up to a bitter customer review. I have remained pleasant and, to a fault, trusting throughout this entire ordeal. If you are in the market for a car, you deserve better reliability and infinitely better auto repair service than what you might receive at Cherry Hill Volkswagen.

I came in to NJ this week from upstate NY, and on my trip, ran over something on the road which caused severe damage to my car. When I called Cherry Hill Volkswagen, I was told there were no appointments available for a whole week, but that I could drop my car off, and that theyd try to get to it. Within hours, they not only got to it, they worked with my insurance company, clearly and regularly communicated with me, and expertly diagnosed and repaired the damages. They were about as good to deal with as anyone could expect. Benny and Kevin were especially kind and thoughtful, as I was here to attend a funeral. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

My first vw. So I dont know yet what the service is going to be like. But I did have an issue with the temp tag. It was installed with the wrong screws, so this wrecked the inserts. I called Cherry Hill vw. They had them in stock. Only 2$ a piece, but they didnt warrant it due to me purchasing the vehicle at another location. We tried to purchase the vehicle there, but they would not negotiate. So we drove 2 hours to Maryland to save 9000$ yes 9000$ same exact vehicle. But I will give them another chance to see how their service department is.

The VW service department has never communicated delays in the service to my vehicle. I brought it in on Tuesday for routine maintenance and to get the AC looked at. I was told they needed to order a part and it would be ready on Wednesday. I followed up Wednesday afternoon and was told it would be ready Thursday. I followed up again Thursday afternoon and was told it would be ready Friday. It is now Friday and I have followed up and am awaiting information on my vehicle. The lack of communication is the issue moreso than the delay in delivery time.- Update-On Friday I was told that the part ordered was for the wrong model and I could expect my car on Monday. To my surprise it was ready on Saturday before 4pm. It doesnt make it any better though.

I recently called to have my car serviced for a recall and to also schedule an appointment to have my seatbelt light issue looked at. The woman on the phone was not helpful at all. When she asked for my VIN number, and I said I would have to retrieve it from my car, she told me I would have to call back Bc she has another customer calling in.....now this was my first time contacting this dealership Bc I bought my car in Turnersville but I could not believe that she would not allow me the time to get my VIN number, she explicitly said she had another call coming through and I would have to call back. Also since I started a new job, I don’t have any PTO time to use. I work 7-5 and she advised I could only pick up a loaner in the morning from 7:30-10:30. I asked if I made an appointment, dropped my car off the night before, why couldn’t I pick the loaner up then....she stated Bc that’s the rule and there’s no bending it. Now when I brought my car to Turnersville for the seatbelt issue ( yes it’s happening again ) they had my car for 3 days....so tell me, how is someone supposed to get their car serviced if the dealership won’t help them in any way? I left a VM for the service manager from Saturday morning...it’s currently Tuesday night and still no call back. This is how you treat customers who bought your brand of a vehicle? I’ve had my car for a little over a year and I’m ready to sell it privately JUST SO I don’t have to deal with VW’s Customer Service. It’s absolutely not “exceptional”.

My experience at VW cherry hill was decent at best. Brian Coffin was really trying to push the service and sales on me, even though all I needed was a tire put on. Again, he was helpful, but be careful as they really try and sell you and make you feel foolish for not buying into their over the top services and parts. They were also slow. I was there for 2 hours before they started looking at the tire- and that was the Express service.

I schedule an appointment to have my 48K mile service done. Bob from the service center called me and said the total was a little over $400, but that they recommended two new tires. I asked how much everything would cost - all in. I was told $513. I repeated the question - the total bill, all in is $513? And Bob said yes. I told them to go ahead and put the tires on. When I showed up to pick the car up I was presented with a bill for $970. I asked to speak to Bob but he was out to lunch. The lady ringing me up called him and I heard him say the price he told me was for the tires only.I’m a successful salesman which requires excellent communication skills. There is no doubt that I asked the correct question and was given an inaccurate answer. The lady ringing me up spoke to Bob again and he said to ask the service manager to take 10% off the bill. A few minutes later Jose, who I assume was the service manager cane over and said he was taking $40 off the bill. He actually said, “I know it’s not the price Bob quoted you, but any gesture is a gesture.” Any gesture is a gesture? Is that their sales slogan. I’ll never do business with Cherry Hill Volkswagen again; I recommend you do the same.

My husband and I just leased a Volkswagen Atlas here today. Great experience! We were originally deciding between the Atlas and the Chevy traverse. But after dealing with Chevy I realized Volkswagen was the better choice. We worked with Angelo and he was very nice and not pushy. This was my first time at Cherry Hill VW. I have to say EVERYONE was over the top nice to me from the second I pulled up. I had to come With my 8 week old son and Jose pulled out all the stops to make me feel comfortable. He found me a private space to nurse if I needed and a quiet table in the back room. I have never experienced such a smooth transaction. Austin is a top notch salesman. He was never pushy, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I literally told him what I wanted in a car, test drove one car, drove it around for 5 minutes, and bought it. Jenna in finance was wonderful to work with, and was very helpful in explaining the extras that I needed or didn’t need. I walked out of their with a smile on my face, with a car a love. I slept so well last night which I usually don’t do the first night I purchase a car! I will definitely be back and highly recommend this dealership!

SERVICE NIGHTMARES FOR VW OWNERS CONTINUE!20MARCH2020 - Went to Cherry Hill Volkswagen for a warranty tire replacement. I was told that the tire was there and that I would be able to come in and get it put on right away since I had an appointment. I show up, and the service advisor knows nothing of this ticket. 4 hours later I have a new tire on the car and a car wash voucher...27MAY2020 - Go to Cherry Hill Volkswagen for an oil change and to get the tires checked out again. I have an appointment, again... I show up, get asked if Im leaving the car because an oil change and wheel diagnosis could take some time. I informed the advisor that I was waiting and he seemed annoyed by that. But I had set an appointment 2 weeks prior so they should have taken my car in and got to work. 4 hours later I have an over priced oil change ($100 when every other dealer is $80 at most) and I get told that the tires have been checked out but it may not be warranty work. I was charged a $60 diagnostic fee and was told that IF it was warranty work I would get it back. I check out and my advisor tells me that he would call me the next day to talk about the tires, but all 4 needed to be replaced. This is not at all what the WO states. WO states that one of the tires has a metal object in it and that it needs to be replaced. But I got a voucher to the Magic Touch car wash...05JUNE2020 - Tire in question is flat. It seems that they have left whatever metal object that they found in my tire IN MY TIRE and sent me on my way. Have not heard from Cherry Hill Volkswagen at all. I call and leave the service manager a VM expressing my issue and displeasure in how this was being handled. My call was not returned.06JUNE2020 - Attempted to remove the trouble wheel and put my spare on so I could get around. Upon attempted removal of the wheel I find that my wheel lock is damaged and I cannot get my wheel off.08JUNE2020 - Called Cherry Hill Volkswagen to speak with the advisor that was working my ticket. Advisor on the phone abruptly put me on hold and told me he was going to find the advisor working my ticket and that I would get a call right back. My call was never returned.09JUNE2020 - Called Cherry Hill Volkswagen to speak with the service manager. Got his VM. My call was never returned. At this point I decided that I had to go around the dealer to get my issue resolved.My take on this is that if you do not own a Porsche or an Audi then you do not matter to this dealer at all. Even if you bought your car here they will treat you as lesser if you do not drive a high end vehicle. I will never return and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Cherry Hill Volkswagen made my service experience a nightmare. No thanks to Bob Redles or Nathan Monroe.

My daughter took her car in with check engine light on. Service came back and said air leak rear main seal and Pcv with estimate to repair $2500. Talked to my mechanic, he laughed and said he has never heard of the check engine light coming on because of the rear main seal leak? Service department also told her car might not make it back to apartment or could break at anytime. Took to local mechanic and problem fixed for $400!! Wait, how could this be? Our Mechanic also looked at rear main seal and no leaks, seal was in great shape? How could this be? Kevin, way to be a stand up guy, trying to take advantage of a young lady, what a piece of work. If this is the kind of people that work at this dealership, DON’T use these guys!!!You charged over $100 dollars to diagnose the problem and then gave inaccurate information, what a class dealership and you all should be so proud of your actions. DON’T USE THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE.

Kevin Sullivan couldnt have been nicer.. they performed the recall work, provided a complimentary shuttle ride home, and phoned as soon as the work was done. No pushing of extraneous repairs or hard-selling unneeded service like other dealerships.

Purchased a Jetta with a service contract. Salesman was upfront and direct with us and gave us a good price. Service appointments are easy to book online and with our warranty we can get a loaner car to get to work if they need to keep our car for the day. Our salesperson Al Drescher was professional and personable, helpful yet not pushy. He was a pleasure to deal with; none of our requests were a bother to him - even on return visits. Always willing to assist, he made us feel as if he enjoyed doing it. He is clearly a knowledgeable car guy, and his enthusiasm was evident. The guys in the service department must be commended, especially Bill Simmons. In a perfect world everything would run smoothly and go exactly as intended. However, we do not live in a perfect world. I had a problem with a bill and when it was brought to Bills attention that problem was solved in a quick, efficient and fair manner. Very nice service men but the quality of service is not there especially for the price and the fact that I went out of my way to come to the dealer to have my Volkswagen serviced. The day after I had my service the check tire light came on and they didnt replace the sticker. I called but no one returned my voicemail and When I found the time to return to have the sticker replaced there were no service men available. This is a sloppy business and I will not be returning to have my car serviced here again. I would not recommend this place for anyone who has a busy lifestyle and values their time.

I recently purchased my first car from Cherry Hill Audi and I was extremely happy with the purchase and experience. Al Drechsel helped me out from start to finish and he was fantastic to deal with. He was very helpful throughout the whole process by answering any questions we had, dealing with our numerous return visits, and making sure we were well informed about the ins and outs of the car. The salesman was nice enough, the rest was just off. Didnt have any of the models we were looking for but had 5 as service loaners. Offered a deal then said it wasnt eligible for the advertised apr. All worked out, went with another brand, and the model we were interested in less then a week ago also has two fairly major recalls in that time (new car).

Had recall work done, and high price oil change, asked them to reset my engine light ( cost 65.00)Called in to see if car was ready advised it was; when I arrived tod to go to cashier and pay which I did: someone behind the desk went out to get my car: while I was standing outside,he sat in my car fo a bit, then drive it into service bay ( my belief engine light came on when he started the car went inside to have it reset ) when I went back inside to find out why he came out gave me my car (running)Sent me on my way. Short time later I stopped and restarted my car engine light came:When I called back told my mechanic didn’t due all the work and engine light won’t reset.Spoke to two managers, they will fix it for 1500.00 .i want my 65.00 back,beware of the service department,they covered the work up and never advised me when I picked the car up that there was problem

Best car leasing experience Ive ever had! From Angelo, my salesman, to my finance person, I couldnt have asked for an easier, calmer, more stress-free experience. Angelo and I did everything via email, then I went to the dealership to sign the paperwork and take delivery and everything was ready and waiting for me and everyone was super friendly. Every time I call, no one answers the phone. I always have to call multiple times before speaking to anyone. This is very inconvenient. When I am actually there though, the customer service is not bad. I usually deal with Robert, he is very knowledgeable and always explains everything. The wait time usually isn’t too bad. This dealership all around isn’t bad, just trying to get them on the phone is awful.

As an attorney, I feel I have to be perfectly blunt in my comments. I’ve been going to Cherry Hill VW for almost ten years. The service provided completely depends upon whom the service department decides to appoint as the person to handle your case (what services you need for your vehicle). I have had been assigned service reps who have been excellent, and on the other hand reps who have been lousy, and I mean awful! The greatest weaknesses of this dealership are failure to return phone calls in a reasonable amount of time to not returning them at all; lack of consistent follow up (they have to be badgered at times). There is lack of consistent feedback (they tell you one thing and the next time you get a completely different story; it’s as if they do not remain on top of your case or don’t know what they are talking about). There is high turnover or moving around of personnel, so you can never request the same rep. There does not seem to be anyone in charge of running the service department; it shifts from time to time. It disappoints me to have to say I’ve been lied to and spoken to as if I am dumb or stupid. This has happened more than once! I have had to remind reps that I am a lawyer and have had to demand that they take their time and answer my questions articulately and not try to rush me out. I recently was assigned a rep who was there only two months and was practically illiterate. They definitely need to improve their image and hire a staff that is more highly educated and better trained! If you go there, keep your eyes and ears open and demand good service. Let’s see, I had an appointment for this past Thursday which included a loaner. I arrived and was told they didn’t have me on the list for a loaner. I asked the attendant if he was saying that I was out of luck and he replied yes. Only after I expressed extreme frustration over the fact that I drove from Philly for nothing did he go find me a car. Question, if it was possible to find me a car then why say no? Why not say Im sorry for this, let me see what I can do? If I happened to be someone else I may have left without receiving service.As for the service, my car was in the shop for four days. No biggie except that I again drove from Philly, this time racing to get there because I had dinner plans that night, only to find out that in the four days that they had my car they apparently forgot to change my oil which was one of the things it was there for. I had to turn around and drive back to Philly, complete waste of my time. I’m now about to drive back again to finally get my car.Complete incompetence. I’m a customer service manager and have to say the service I received was awful. How about offering me a discount on the oil change after wasting my time driving back and forth and failing to change my oil in FOUR DAYS of having my car on site? Nothing. Nothing offered to at least make me feel better. Next time I’ll drive to another dealer further away to receive real service.

Terrible, Terrible experience in the service department on multiple occasions. I called on two separate occasions to get recalls taken care of (Takata Airbag inflator & steering clock spring) both times they said they would call me back to set up appointments. Never heard back. I also called recently because I had a check engine light come on and I was hoping they would scan the code quickly and let me know what the issue was (which takes all of 15 seconds) - the gentleman on the phone told me to even pull the car in the shop it will cost $125.. I know they are in the business of making money, but simple things such as letting someone know what their check engine light is for (without charging $125) will definitely make customers more willing to do business at the retailer. Their service department has driven away my business on multiple occasions because of how rude they are and unwilling to help with simple matters.
