We came in with a double birthday party cake need - a boy and a girl. We needed something big enough to feed an army and awesome enough to impress two 8 year olds and boy did The Sugar Shoppe come through!We got the most delicious and beautiful, fun and creative birthday cake I have ever seen! They were AMAZING and it was so reasonable!! I would recommend them to ANYONE!

The last time I visited was 5 years ago. From then to today, I wouldnt waste my time driving there again. It lacks everything.

Sad. Only because I remember the days of the previous owners. Full fledged, amazing inventory for just about anything related to cakes, cookies, cupcakes. I feel sad for what its become. Friendly cashier. Not to mention the plastic, disposable cupcake carriers, 12 count, I bought 6, wondering why prices werent posted, came to $20....What? So, its just as easy or moreso to 1. Go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels 2. Order from Amazon 3. Im wondering if there is another shop in town that is as good as the Sugar Shoppe used to be. There are other observations, but they dont help, so, I will just end it here. Very sad.

We came into town to celebrate a friends 50th birthday and by chance came across the Chattanooga Market on a beautiful Sunday.One of the vendors was the Sugar Shoppe. The selection of cakes was amazing. We chose 3 different cake slices. They were each amazing. The cake textures were moist and flavorful and the icing was perfect. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and pay attention to flavor combinations.Would recommend them to anyone looking to order cakes.

This store has lots of products to choose from to help you create your tasty decorative treats. Or save time and let the professionals make your cake for whatever event. These people are so nice and easy to work with and help me find my products I need or give advise on how to use a product. Great service and delicious cake makes this store 5 stars!

I try to give my business to local stores instead of large corporations. I walked in on Saturday afternoon with my son to order a birthday cake. The young girl behind the counter wasnt exactly enthusiastic about helping us. I asked if they could prepare a birthday cake that would be picked up in 3 days. She mentioned that the owner was out delivering a cake and proceeded to take my contact info. I informed her that I would need the cake in a couple of days. She told me that they required a weeks notice. OK no problem. Wish that had been posted on the website or somewhere in the store.I then asked if they possibly had cakes that were already prepared (like many other bakeries). She said, No we dont have whole cakes prepared, but we have cake slices. SLICES?! Then she said, Maybe you could try ordering from Dairy Queen. I just gave her one of those tight-lipped smiles to hide my total contempt for her at that moment and left. Why in the HELL would you say that?! Im clearly trying to order a quality product from YOUR BUSINESS!I should have followed my first instinct and called Jackson Bakery. They have always treated me well sand Im ashamed that I tried to go somewhere else. The only reason I wanted to try Sugar Shoppe was because of their portfolio of unique cake designs. But Id rather have a quality cake from a business that treats me well than a nifty design from a place that couldnt care less. Im a recruiter in HR at Volkswagen and my job requires that I treat everyone with respect. The young lady working behind the counter could use a few refresher courses on customer service and respect.

My family ordered my babyshower Royal Prince Cake from here & was very satisfied & extremely happy with how it turned out and the pricing of it. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cake!! will definitely be ordering more cakes from here for other occasions

Cant remark on the taste of the cakes, never tried them. I was looking for cake supplies which the website lends you to believe it has everything. It has hardly any cake boxes, some cake boards but not all the sizes which is really what I needed. They had NO vanilla fondant and very little of any other kind. Mostly satin ice and cake boss which I do not use. There are much better brands out there and I usually get that from Sweetwise in Nashville, their prices are MUCH better as well. I think if you were in the market for cookie and candy supplies you would be more satisified. No vanilla of ANY kind, I could really go on and on but I think I made my point... Sad, live in an area as large as Chattanooga and still have to order or drive out of town for the most basic supplies. The service wasnt too great either, maybe it will get better....????

Love this bakery shop. Delicious and beautiful cakes and supplies! Bakers are very informative and willing to offer their knowledge and advice. Ive called a few times for advice and questions about my own cakes.

I was pleased with Sugar Shoppes customer service and it helped that the two tiered rainbow cake I ordered for my baby shower received great reviews from my guests. The chocolate and buttercream flavors were really good and the icing wasnt too heavy. Im not sure why I cant add a picture to my review but the only complaints I have are the cracks in the cake and my topper continuously falling because it wasnt properly secured. For a $160 cake it shouldnt have had those issues. Especially when competitors charge half the price for the same cake. It was a last minute decision (everyone else was booked) but I can say I was overall satisfied.

Um when did frozen cake become a thing hard icing and tried the wedding cake and peanut butter cake absolutely horrible never again

The cake is absolutely fantastic! The gentleman that comes to the Erlanger Medical Mall on Fridays is very pleasant as well. All of my coworkers have nothing but great things to say about the cake!
