Absolutely wonderful! It took hours Amanda was so patient. The first day I bought 4 sheer curtains Amanda told me how to measure for Curtains and Levolor blinds. I went home and measured more than twice, believe me. Some windows are in need of 84 curtains. Lots of measuring. Today I went back and Amanda again helped me again. She handled the whole department ladies were looking at products in her department. Amanda was completely in control. SHE WAS REALLY BUSY! I was not in a hurry and Amanda was able to handle all of us with knowledge and grace. Never did she get flustered. I watched what all she was doing. She is a outstanding JCPenney employee. Mike also was very helpful. This was not even his department he saw that I would need help getting to my vehicle. He stepped up helped packed all of the glass canisters I purchased. Asked which door I came in, he did not say do you want some help. He said to Amanda I will help her. Out to her car. He picked up all of my packages and asked which door did you come in. I told him that there was luggage close to the door. He knew right where I was talking about. And off we went. The door was if course the farthest one away. Mike was courteous very helpful and polite. He loaded up my car. I thanked him for helping me. He said no problem have a good rest of your day. That was it. All I need to do now is wait for the levolor blinds to be made and sent by a carrier.It was, Im going to say a really good experience.

All of the employees that we encountered were extremely helpful! They showed us exactly what we were looking for and then they also helped us to make an order for another order to be shipped to the store!

Was a long way for me to drive but worth it. Were looking to purchase new drapes for our patio door and pennies has a great person in that department named Amanda who was super helpful to us. So I highly recommend them if youre in the market for new drapes or blinds.

I mean what the heck bro whered it go. I looked around and thought to myself, where I am I. This is Deffenitly not a mall. This looks a lot like a parking lot. I havent actually been to this place in a hot sec but what I remember is we got some clothes or something and then went to Pizza ranch which btw is a REALLY cool joint. Its like Chuck E Cheese but without all the rats. Or whatever Chuck. This is cool penny place good.

I really like shopping here they have great quality clothing and other items as well as makeup and jewelry but they tend to follow me around and its annoying cuz Im not a thief

My mother & I went & got our hair colored. Bought 2 sets of shampoo & conditioner and the price was around $350 for all of it. Wasnt too high of price for all we had done & the hair stylists were very friendly & explained what & how they were going to do to our hair. Also explained why the price was so high & how many treatments it would take for my hair to reach desired color.

JCPenney in Cedar Rapids is a great place to find items at low prices. Associates are super friendly and helpful.

Location suffers from lack of cute clothes. Probably due to COVID and shipping but nevertheless I was in and out in 5 minutes.

Some of the best service Ive had in quite a while. The gentleman that waited on me found every discount that he could possibly find to save me every dollar. During such a season when everybody thinks its about making money he was into providing outstanding service and I spent much less money than I had planned but purchased higher quality items then I thought I could afford because of his service. He has got to be one of the better employees that JCPenney has in it company.

There was no one to assist in the house wares. I had questions about a mattress and no help. There were 2 other people looking for someone to help too. We had to go to mens wear to check out. It makes me sad to see one of my favorite stores with so little help.

We purchased a winter coat and when we got it home, tried it on and there was a cut across the front of the coat. It looks like it was done opening the box to stick the coats. Took it back and of course there was not a large available. Clerk offered to order online. That was great except we would get charged for shipping. I feel that is wrong. We brought it back not because we didnt like it but it was damaged at the store. We are having it shipped to the store because it is free shipping. Not really because we have to drive 32 miles to pick it up. Free shipping to our home should have been done for our convenience. Keep the customer happy!

A nicely maintained JCP. This is probably one of the better ones around. As more JCPs are closing, it is certainly nice to know that this location has dodged the Headsmans axe (for now). The prices are good and the clothing is a good quality

It has or can get pretty much anything. Good sales 👍. A young lady was able to get me 4 identical pairs of Levis shipped to the store for me at the sales price with no shipping right after Black Friday sales. Impressive

Quick and easy one stop shopping with current styles from fashion (in nearly any size youre looking for) to home decor. They generally always have a sale going on, so youre bound to find great deals, my only gripe is some of the sale signage wasnt easily understandable, similar signs with different small print lead to some confusion as to which item was at what type of 50% off (50% one item, or 50% if you spend over $40.00, or buy one get one 50% off).

They carry decent selection of big and tall. Im not very big, but Im 65 so its hard to find decent looking stuff that fits. The store is clean and staff always offers to help find stuff. It has become my go to place for clothes.

Affordable professional dress clothing that is hard to find in store.

On Sunday, (September 22nd), I went shopping for curtains for an addition to my house. The clerk, Amanda, was awesome. She was very friendly, and, extremely patient with me. I had never shopped for curtains before, and had no idea where to start. Her attention to me was outstanding, which made the experience quite enjoyable. ( I hope she gets to read this review!)

Photos were fine. When picking up, they had extra items that were a $20 add, but when I cam back to buy 6 days later, they were not anywhere to be found. They were shipped back despite my having been told by the associate that there was no immediate deadline - and her knowledge that I was interested. I was told I could order them off the menu at this point - the discounted rate would not apply.

I had to do a online pickup at the store in the home department upstairs. I don’t think I have ever been more impressed with a salesperson as I was today. She was funny and VERY nice. Great job picking your staff!

I really like JCPenney but it is very difficult to get the items offered in the advertisements in the store. I dont especially like to order clothes online. The cashiers ate very courteous and helpful when asked.

Scheduled a 2:30 appointment for my 4 month old twins and 20 month old daughter. I had coordinated everything so that everyone had napped and was happy and fed. After an hour of waiting I had to leave as I could no longer keep my kids entertained and I had no idea of when my kids were going to be taken back for photos. Also even though I had been waiting they took back a 3:15 appointment right away
