My daughters car broke down on the highway after hitting a pallet on her way down to FL to see me. On the road again auto shop got working on her car quickly as soon as it was towed there. They did a thorough diagnosis of the problem which turned out to be coolants low. They also noticed a bubble in one of her tires after hitting the pallet on the highway. They directed her to a reputable tire store who replaced her tire quickly so she could get back on the road.I appreciate everything they did for my daughter and extra instruction on checking coolants and oil if something happened again. She made it safely down to FL and I truly appreciate the exceptional service they provided at a reasonable rate!! Thank you!!

Reached out using their online appointment app as our daughter just moved to Columbia for school and her a/c was not working properly. They responded as soon as they opened, confirmed my appointment that morning and got us in quickly, efficiently, diagnosed the problem got us back on the road in a timely manner. I realized that I had a flat tire on Friday just before Labor Day weekend. I put the spare on and drove down to On The Road Again around 4:30 without an appointment. They had to remove the tire from the rim, patched/plugged the tire, mounted it, and had me out the door just after closing time at 5 PM. Thanks!

This business was referred to me when I was seeking a new auto mechanic. I liked the small reasonable repairs done to my SUV. Andrew takes the time to explain the problem and the cost. If it’s not needed, be will honestly recommend to wait until an issue worsens. No work begins until all parties are in agreement with the expectations and the cost. Andrew is my hero! I got a flat tire down the road from his shop on Sunday and my only option was to leave it and hope he could help me when they opened on Monday morning. He was able to get me a new tire before the day was over and I could not be more satisfied. The Price was reasonable and he was very responsive when I called for updates. He is professional and trustworthy, I will definitely be returning for future car repairs.

Too expensive ! They wanted to charge me about $700 to replace both CVC Axles, fix evaporative leak (cant remember the exact repairs )

I meant to leave this review earlier. My F150 popped a plug and was sputtering. This was the closest shop and seemed to have good reviews. I Puttered in and explained the situation to the person (owner?)that I needed to get back to Sumter. He was helpful and although he couldnt get to my truck that day he called around and found a shop that could possibly get me in that day. Seemed like a very decent honest guy. Would definitely take my vehicle back. On the way to the shop I finally got a check engine light so I was able to pull a code easy to find the cylinder....threaded the plug back in and made it home! Whew! Thanks!

Just wanted to leave some positive feedback here because this business deserves it! I’ve been having my car serviced here for almost 3 years now. They’ve fixed major problems for me such as a head gasket and also rebuilt my transmission as well as small jobs such as brakes and oil changes. Every service I’ve ever needed they have diagnosed correctly every time and are honest. They check my fluids, they rotate my tires and they make sure everything is in good working condition, but most importantly they make sure that my car is safe to drive. I will be recommending this shop to all my friends. Our car suddenly wouldnt start, and I had heard of them through a friend. Called the shop and they were able to get us in that day. Everyone was very friendly. They quickly figured out what was wrong, what needed to be done, and cost estimate. Kept us in the loop the whole time, and it was quick!

I needed a manifold replaced on my Silverado. They quoted me $561.48. 😳 I couldnt believe it!!! Then they charged me an $80.00 diagnostic fee to look at the same items I told them needed repaired.🙄 I decided to take the truck to another mechanic. He replaced the manifold, bolts, manifold gasket, exhaust pipe gasket, and labor for a total of $292.57. SEE THE DIFFERENCE!! Id advise you all to seek prices from another mechanic before deciding!!!! Some businesses are way to high on their prices and labor. They also quoted me $679.50 to replace my knock sensors and wiring. Needless to say their diagnostic fee mentioned they may need replaced, but I told them that from the beginning. They also said my drive belts may need replacing. Of course, this I never requested. The mechanic that did my repair reset my codes, and found out I was getting false readings due to my manifold issue. THIS WAS DONE FREE OF CHARGE!!! $1240.98 + an $80.00 diagnostic charge, or $292.57??? You decide!!!

I brought minivan car to On The Road Again in May after it started misfiring. They fixed and brought to my attention a service advisory on my vehicle and provided me with the spark plugs and information I needed to pursue the fix.I waited to have this work done and just this week my minivan started misfiring again, so off it went to Honda. When I dropped off my minivan at the dealership I gave them the print out of the service advisory and the old spark plugs. Got a call this morning that the repairs are covered!I do not think I could have made this happen without the coaching and materials that On The Road Again gave me. Stellar service, true to their word and HONEST. Totally appreciate that and will tell everyone I know of the positive experience here!

Highly recommend. My brakes went out while I was traveling. From towing my tuck to working ALL day tying to get me back on the road. They stayed open late to finish the job. I have never experienced such truly kind honest people. Thank you again for getting me home safely

I have some mixed feelings about this place. I want to start out by saying that they were super nice, and they even gave me a ride back to my house. That kind of service really means a lot.My usual mechanic wasnt available; so I thought Id check these folks out, especially since they are right around the corner from my house.I went in for what I thought was a small issue with my windshield wipers. It turned out costing a lot more than I expected. I think they were on the up and up, but it did seem like their prices, especially for parts were a bit high. They say they only use OEM warrantied parts, so Im sure they are going to be a bit more. My regular guy usually lets me shop around for the best price on parts, and tries to save me some money. I agreed to go ahead and let On The Road Again replace the wipers, and my turn signal switch. They said it might be a day or two, which I said would be fine. Then after two days I got a call, saying that some part was worn out/broken and they needed to know if they could order a replacement. This would be about 140 with shipping. There wasnt much I cold do, but okay the repair. This just didnt sit right with me, because we did agree on a price, and had I never initiated the work, everything probably would have been okay. I feel like I got stuck with buying a part that was working fine, when I took the vehicle in there.I may give them another chance in the future, at least for maybe a quick oil change, or something simple, well s

My tire went flat literally directly in front of this shop yesterday. I ran across the street and asked for help. They were quick to come to my rescue and go and actually get me a new tire (since they did not have one on sight to fit my car) They helped me out tremendously and were extremely kind and reasonably priced with all of it. Very impressed and glad God made sure my tire went flat in front of such good people and such a great shop

Andrew, the owner, is one of the absolute most qualified mechanics I know. He and his wife run the business with hospitality and integrity. He does a great job of diagnosing and completing even the most complicated oof automotive repairs. He was able to repair severe wiring and electrical issues on my truck with no problem. I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.

AJ has been our mechanic for a few years at this point. We found him by accident when he was a mobile mechanic and we were stuck (or he was depending on which way you want to look at it)! He is honest, knowledgeable, and so down to earth. When we first had him look at our car his price was far better than what I had been quoted by other shops. The first 2 or 3 times we called around before okaying the work and every time his price was better, which we dont do anymore because he is our go to guy and we know that he is not overcharging! When he opened his shop in West Columbia we vowed to follow him!
