Really bad review on this pharmacy staff. I called from the doctors office to solve a problem for one of our patients, I was on hold for about 15 minutes on 9/9/2021 around 5pm, A lady picked up the phone and said really fast walgreens please hold and hang up afterwards. then i called again and went through the process for a provider calling, waited around 15 more minutes and the pharmacist(male) picked up, apparently he was in a rush while i was talking to him, i was giving the patient information he said i am busy here working please help me out and i am use to call pharmacies and providers and i am not here to waste anyones time. No matter how busy or stressed you are, customer service is everything. those two employees were the face of the company at that moment.

The passport picture I took here for 15 dollars is not clear, and not cut to the correct size. This almost is robbing. I ended up taking a picture and edited it myself for printing, it turned out to be way better.

This location of Walgreens (Tryon Woods in Cary NC) is just what you hope a pharmacy will be. They are smart and professional and know what they are doing AND they are super kind and caring with their customers. Everyone I’ve interacted with there is pleasant.Great store, excellent staff!

I love this store. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and professional, going out of their way to help customers. I am in cancer treatment and they have been so helpful with my medications. I love them! The cashiers are always helpful and pleasant as well. Great store!

This location has the worst service. Honestly, don’t bother with this location if you can help it. I’ve never had a good experience with this place. They’re incompetent, slow; and rude.

This place has horrible customer service. I wish it were full of incompetent employees. Instead there are just a few who keep you waiting and cant help you with anything. All they are capable of is checking you out. So if you need something other than a pack of candy go elsewhere.

I want to say that I was a very reluctant customer. MY old store on Buck Jones Road closed a few weeks ago, and the pharmacy customers at the Buck Jones Walgreens were automatically transferred to the Tryon Woods Walgreens. I was so annoyed that MY store closed after so many years! And I was not excited about the drive to the Tryon Woods Walgreens because it is farther from home and traffic would be worse than what I was used to.I have to say that after a few weeks I have been pleasantly surprised by the Tryon Woods Walgreens. It is clean and bright, and the layout and overall appearance of the store are so much better and more appealing than the old Buck Jones Walgreens. The Tryon Woods store is larger, so theres much more inventory selections and variety.I loved the staff at the Buck Jones store, and I miss them! But I have to say that the Tryon Woods staff have been OK. The pharmacy staff have helped ease the transition, and there really have not been any problems with the pharmacy or our medications since the move.I want to share our experience with one of the store workers. My husband and I are older, and my husband is slightly disabled from a stroke. We were both so delighted and touched by the experience we had with one of the store staff during our first visit to the store. He was an older man working in the store, and he noticed us walking around and asked if he could help us. We told him we were just checking things out and getting used to the new store. We explained that we were new from the Buck Jones store. He was really so sweet and welcomed us so warmly. He actually stopped his work and took the time to talk to us. He said he had worked at the Buck Jones store a few times and realized how sad the customers were that the store had closed. He introduced himself to us (his name is David), and he said to us very sincerely please let me know if theres anything I or any of the staff can do to help you and make you feel welcomed. He assured us we would enjoy the Tryon Woods Walgreens. Then we continued walking around, but then I realized that I actually needed to buy something, but I couldnt find it. So my husband and I went back to our new friend working in the store and asked him where we could find the specific item. He smiled and said let me show you. And he did! He led us, walking slowly so as not to rush our out pace my husband, right to the very item I was looking for, chatting like an old friend the whole way. He had such a friendly and kind disposition. And since that first encounter with our new Walgreens friend David a few weeks ago, he has never forgotten us! Every time we go into the store he remembers us, welcomes us back (by name!), and asks how weve been doing. He always asks if he can help us find anything. We are so grateful for his kind smile and his attention. He makes us feel special, and that feels good.David is a gem! Hes helped to make us feel so comfortable at our new Walgreens. Thank you Walgreens for hiring David.

In what started out with well be with you shortly turned into taking over an hour to get a vaccine. They couldnt even print the paperwork for me to sign for over 30 minutes as it was printing to a different printer or there were three people with the same name. Really? They have my address, phone number, etc., which two other people dont share.I should have left, but I foolishly believed it when I was repeatedly told it would just be a couple of minutes. I only went to this store, rather than my usual Walgreens store, as I went with a friend. Needless to say, I wont use this one again.

I enjoy shopping here! It is easy to get in and out for items I need to pick up quickly. I cant stand Walmarts and Bed Bath and Beyonds because they are big and overwhelming. By the time you park, walk into the store, and get the stuff you need it is exhausting and so time consuming!Walgreens BOGO specials are great, especially for supplements and over the counter meds! And I really really appreciate their Balance Rewards program. It is great to be appreciated for my business and to feel like Im saving a few dollars. Regarding the pharmacy, Ive never had a problem with the pharmacy. Prescriptions are ready when I arrive and the wait times are usually minimal. I like the auto refill option for my regular meds. Theres never an issue with my insurance. I always get my flu vaccination here because it is so convenient!I want to say something about the store staff. Most of the staff Ive encountered are pleasant and helpful, but there is an older man working there who is exceptionally friendly and helpful. His greetings are warm and sincere and he is so pleasant and professional. He seems to enjoy his job and helping old folks like me. For a long time I thought he was the manager because he seems so on point. Hes a nice southern gentleman...yes maam, no sir, have a nice evening, thank you for coming in, please...thats refreshing. I always look forward to seeing him and it makes me feel good that he remembers me and takes a minute to chat. I wish more staff everywhere could be like him.Thank you Walgreens for a pleasant shopping experience.

This is an above average Walgreens, provided certain limits are understood by customers at the start. Its clean, with up-to-date Point of Purchase displays that dont gather dust and well stocked shelves with employees who dont crowd the aisles; its clean and well-lit and the customer service is almost invariably friendly. The pharmacy is staffed with expertise and efficient professionals, however... Customers should understand this is a satellite pharmacy, so less frequently sold medicine often has to be ordered, usually overnight. Best practice is to plan ahead, in such cases. The store is subject to suburban rush hours, so there are better times than others to make the trip. Parking is tight and can be confusing for first timers. Exercise caution on approach and departure. Patience and planning are rewarded.

The heavy set young wearing red today at the front desk of the pharmacy was terrible. Not knowledgeable, turned out wrong about information that she was stubborn about. Rude and terrible customer service. Have been getting my prescriptions here for years and will never come back. I was unable to get my prescription which is a medication that is dangerous to run out of due to this woman even though no other pharmacists have had any issues before. I hope this girl gets fired. Not the kind of person who should be working in that setting of such important medications.

The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are rude and unwilling to help people. My doctor’s office went above and beyond to help me get what I needed to afford my medication and the employees acted like it’s illegal to use coupons instead of insurance. They continually told me what I was requesting wasn’t possible, yet I went across the street to CVS without issue. They’re not only rude but they’re causing people undue stress by being unreasonable and condescending.

Prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to be. Everyone seems clueless. Drive thru is always backed up. They either just can’t handle the number of RX”s from Rite Aid, where they knew my name btw, or can’t find adequate help. They blame doctors for prescriptions not being ready when they have been notified (My dr. emails me right after.). Pharmacists are nice and seem overworked. Not so much for everyone else working behind the counter.

As our other drug store didnt take medicare weve had to switch to a Walgreens. This one is so convenient, and very customer oriented. They helped with the medications/prescriptions making the transition flawless. They even called to make sure we got everything the way we wanted. They are also very friendly and helpful in the store! I was pleasantly surprised to get greeted with a Welcome to Walgreens the few times Ive been inside. There is a drive thru to make picking up prescriptions easier too.#GoogleCityExperts

I called on Monday for a fill, never received a follow up call as promised. Call back Wednesday - their phone system is down. Call back 4 times after 6pm to hold for 45 minutes, finally get a staff member that can’t spell, swears the other pharmacy didn’t call them back on Monday. Was to receive another call back to state the script was ready within an hour - No call received. Get to Pharmacy face to face - they can’t find me in the system. When they do find me in the system - they do not know how to input the insurance and the female pharmacist that’s on duty is in the back being rude and making smart comments. The reason I WAS using the Walgreens was due to insurance choice. This Pharmacy needs an entire need staff.
