Always a good experience! They say when youre a women, car repair folks take advantage of you. Never felt that way at CLM. I have used the collision center as well as the maintenance center and both are top notch. I highly recommend CLM for all car needs. I needed to fix my bumper and they were quick and it looks perfect. Another time, there was a weird sound under my car which the dealership could not figure out but Mario at CLM did! Great shop! As someone who used to work part time at a body shop in college, I can attest to CLM. Rob runs a real honest business and is a man of his word. He told me at the start he would try to save me money on my deductible and my first thought was sure buddy, well seeHe ended up saving me $500. I cannot recommend CLM enough. My car had about $10,000 worth of Damage - Rob was concise and transparent throughout the time of my repair. He even helped me communicate with the rental car company. My car looks great and the body lines are perfect, you would not even know it was hit.

My first contact with CLM was in the summer after a fender bender. They were very knowledgeable regarding repair and insurance, and as a result, we had no problems and the work was excellent.Recently, I had some mechanical issues, so I spoke with the mechanical repair people. They corrected the plugged sun roof drain. I am now having them replace a timing belt and water pump. They were up front with the parts costs and offered both aftermarket parts vs. original equipment.We will continue to take our business with both body and mechanical.

I could not recommend Mario and Rob any higher. Office Bob and Joe are wonderful to deal with. Their advise always proves to be spot-on concerning either repairs or insurance claims. To their own detriment, they are unselfishly fair and generous.

CLM is the ONLY place Ill ever take to get my car fixed. I had a radiator issue on a Saturday afternoon and CLM was closed and found another mechanic who was open. He looked at it and told me the price to fix was my radiator would cost me $425. I didnt have the money right then so I waited until the next Monday and took it to CLM and had Mario check it out.After looking at it Mario told me it was going to be pretty expensive. When I asked how much he told me $250. (Which is almost or precisely $175 less than the scumbags at the Mobil Station on Memorial Drive quoted me!)They fixed it that afternoon and I was all set.These guys are amazing. Not they need more business, their garage is always full and people constantly dropping off their cars to get fixed, so Im pretty sure the word is out.Bottom line is I never have to worry about getting screwed or overcharged or not having it done right the first time. The guys at CLM are the best.

Cant recommend CLM enough. I regularly came here for oil changes and always had a good experience but I needed to get a dent fixed and painted. Not only did they wind up not needing to replace the panel they were able to get it done within 48 hours and came in under what they quoted me. They are honest, straightforward, and do amazing work. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

After the dealership service department lied to us claiming we needed a new heating system that would have cost thousands of dollars to fix we brought our car here for a second opinion. CLM quickly discovered the issue was our radiator was leaking badly and cutting off the heat in the car not the heating system at all. The real repair was less expensive and saved us from destroying our car engine.

The guys here are amazing and incredibly friendly. Ive never had a problem with them. They did a fantastic job fixing my car after someone did a hit-and-run and even fixed another dent unrelated to the accident for free. I come to them for everything car related and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my car.

Quick and no nonsense inspection

So Google just shocked me by sending me an email that said I have reached 5000 views of my reviews even though I only reviewed things twice. I would like to recommend the best local auto repair place. It is CLM auto on Webster Ave in Cambridge, Ma., just over the Somerville line. Ex: I was quoted up to 2200 for a new clutch that they did for only 1200. This is on a very high performance car with a manual 6 speed transmission. They did excellent work, only took one day, and they are the friendliest bunch of guys you will find. Their shop is huge and one big thing that sets them apart from other shops is that they have their own big machine shop right there on site. They can and do actually fabricate high quality parts if needed. They did it for me. It was a separate manual transmission issue where a rubber part wore out and replacing it was a major disassembly even though the part was small and cheap. They invented and machined a solid stainless steel part that will never wear out and eliminated the need for the rubber part. I have gone there with minor issues and they pull me right in and have fixed things for free. I was having an embarassingly hard time just opening the hood of my Mini. I tried loading the latch up with wd40 and pb blaster and still there were times that I just could not do it. With the top performance Mini like mine, it is imperative that one checks the oil constantly because it burns a lot with the turbo. Not a defect, it is the way it is designed. They brought out this thick, red grease. I doubted any kind of lube would fix it and I was thinking something had to be replaced or maybe adjusted or bent in the latch. I was wrong, they were right. The red grease stuff fixed it and I can open my hood with no problem. The place is also very clean in the waiting room which has a gigantic fish tank with really unusual fish to watch and in the actual work areas. It is like a car hospital in that regard. In case the reader drives what I drive, I should mention that the car is a 10 year old Mini John Cooper Works 2 door, made by BMW. Not many mods, just a bigger hood scoop, better performance air filter, the highest speed rated tires available. If you are a reasonable distance away, CLM is the only place to go. Heck, if you see the numbers I wrote above, it even would have been cost effective to come from far away and get a hotel room!

They have fixed any problems with any car Ive ever brought to them from my 1993 Nissan Sentra to my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. They are fair and honest guys who do the best work! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GO TO CLM!

Mario and his crew have been nothing less than awesome. Theyve gone out of their way to same-day fix my car problems, even when my car broke down just before they closed. Unless you are somebody that needs constant pampering and Hilton customer service, youll respect how these guys just care about getting the job done.

Im still in disbelief at the amazing level of customer service. These guys go above and beyond.I needed the head gaskets and timing belt replaced in my 09 Forester. My regular mechanic, A1 Auto in Arlington, who is great, sadly doesnt do large engine jobs like what I needed, and then the Subaru dealership quoted me $3K plus ten days before Id have my car back, AND the dealership said I couldnt have a loaner unless I work it out with my insurance. A friend recommended CLM, and over the phone Mario at CLM gave me an $1800 quote and two day turnaround. A $1200 savings, and they the same Subaru parts that the dealer uses? Hell yeah. I made the appointment for the following week (They book up fast).I dropped it off Tuesday at 9am, and got a call Wednesday 3pm saying it was done. After I picked up my car, they told me I needed to do things as followup: 1. Come back next week for a free diagnostic - we want to make sure everything is still running smooth. Youll be in and out less than 20 minutes. 2. Come back again 2 weeks after that so we can do a free oil change and service, and again check the diagnostics. If everything checks out right as we expect, you should have no problems at all. I was shocked. Ive never had a shop ask me to bring something back so that they can check on their own work. But these guys really care about the work they do and believe in quality - so they back it up.Every person I talked to was friendly and courteous, with a great sense of humor. Oh, and the original 1800 quote? It didnt change a penny. They even factored the tax so it was included into the 1800. Im definitely a happy customer.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We had a very banged up Buick Regal that we were returned for a lease and needed repairs. Rob worked with us to save us every penny we could on the repairs which is just unheard of from my previous experiences with repair shops. We ended up paying half what other shops estimated. Work was completed on time and communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Whole staff is friendly. We even had the unfortunate experience of a broken headlight on our new jeep receiving a quote from the Jeep dealer for over $700. CLM fixed it in two hours for $380. If you need body work or car repair this is worth a trip to get an estimate. So thankful we were referred here by a co-worker.

The mechanics at CLM are real professionals. They do a great job and are not rip-offs! I have had to pay them two visits due to car troubles and each time they promptly fixed my cars problems and compared to other mechanics, their pricing is very reasonable.

If u need any auto repairs I advice checking them out, they repaired my vehicle in less then a week. Any other place would taken close to 2 weeks. Facilities are clean. Impecable work.

Horrible!Called a week in advance to make an appointment for my heat to get fixed and for my transmission to get looked at. Fully explained the problem and they said they were more than happy to look at it, but to be there promptly at 8am as it seemed like a big job.I showed up at 7:50 to find almost no parking went inside they had no record of my or rather didnt even look. I explained the situation to one guy and then another butts in and says I need a new transmission. I asked if they wanted to at least look at it and he said they do not do transmission repair, he can put a new transmission in but thats it. He said I explained the issue wrong over the phone and it was my fault for the confusion.I mean come on to not even look at it and after all this is the second opinion as I have read numerous blogs and already been to another mechanic and I know what the issue is.I feel this place has horrible customer service is not knowledgable and is overrated.Steer clear of this place as they lack professionalism and are poorly run.
