This Walmart is very clean and well-kept and the service is good. There is everything in the store and sewing an automotive area. Course the prices are the lowest around. Doesnt everybody shop Walmart?

Perfect example of how both Walmart and the town of Brunswick are getting less desirable. Almost all self checkouts yet they pay people to watch you in case they want to accuse you of stealing. However you cant pay cash at self checkouts and I assume its because the employees or either too stupid or not to be trusted to add cash for change into the machines. Then if you want to purchase a bag you have to walk back halfway across the store as they keep absolutely no bags anywhere near the check out area. Must be they have trouble with bag thieves!

Registers are all self checkout besides 1 cashier. Shelves are partially stocked. Bread aisle looked half empty.

As far as a walmart goes it was clean, organized, and had a variety of things in stock from grocerys to furniture to a full auto repair section. Very helpful.

Great store, just crowded with people, thats good though.

We came to the area to see the leaves and realized we were staying in a place that had only a wood burning stove. We stopped in to Walmart to get an electric blanket and it was a huge help. The cashier told us we were the third person that night to get an electric blanket. 🤣🤣🤣It was a lifesaver!!

I have had a couple interaction with one of the associates named Janet and she had always had something to say or just watch over my shoulder but today she came up to me and had asked me if i was using a self checkout (when I was clearly putting my stuff onto the shelf ready to scan) and I had replied yes she then proceeded to say well it is still green (because I had just got there and haven’t scanned anything) and I had politely said I had not scanned something and she snapped back and said well there is people waiting to use it. and I replied okay I am trying to scan stuff and my mother who I was with had said “jesus” and Janet replied with “that’s what i was thinking too” and proceeded to stand there and watch me scan it and then walk to her coworker Linda and whisper and watch us until we had finished and walked out.

The store is so disorganized the people are so rude and ignorant.. the faster you get in there, the fact that you want to leave there! If you cant find any item that you want, do not ask to help.. most of them do not understand English yet! 🙄

Plenty of sweet succulent fruits and good variety of crisp, fresh produce. Good grocery selection and decent prices, especially the off brand items. I particularly enjoy prowling the Clearance aisle, found a lovely mini backpack for a dollar! I like this one better than the Thomaston location.

Love the lady at self check out on home and pharmacy. She and I both have a love of animals. Well almost same animals. Great employee, very friendly and helpful.

The arcade room was FINALLY open, after a long wait of COVID restrictions. The change machine was not working properly. I attempted to ask the service desk for quarters. That was a no-go for obvious and understandable reasons. Denise, who was working in the self checkout area heard the story from afar and saw my sons disappointment. She called me over and handed me 4 quarters straight from her own pocket. The service desk suggested I grab a pack of gum and then I could get my hands on some $1 bills which was extremely helpful. I know some days the vibes in that building are rough and tough - but today especially I felt incredibly cared for. A big thank you goes out to that incredibly kind staff!

Clean, good service, roomy with mechanic in back.5/2021 Update: almost all checkouts are self-checkout now (maybe 2 out of dozens are not). Understandable but just important to know depending on your preferences.If you do use the self checkout and require help the staff is usually attentive abs helpful.The online order/ same day delivery for this Walmart is awful, they’ll take your order and cancel at the last minute (due to lack of staff from the 3rd party they use).

Worked here from April 2020-February 2021. It seemed good at first, then it got cliche. I left. I ended up going to basic training with the Army. My wife at the time was working there. When I got back home I learned the AP associate had been messing around in my bed with her while I was gone. This is the second time in this Walmart that I’ve first-hand heard of the AP associates sleeping with other associates. Coming from a security background, and having worked AP for Mardens, and knowing Walmarts policy, this is a huge conflict of interest and ethics concern. I tried to bring it up and was told to mind my own business. If this kind of stuff is going on with the people who are supposed to help enforce ethical behavior, what else is going on in Walmart-Brunswick?

Waitress was friendly. Served on time. I liked the food. If i find time i will stop over for a bite. yummy

I prefer hannaford. I went there for a freind. I do not like their ground beef, theres a lot of fat in it.

I was at Walmart pharmacy to receive my 2nd Covid Vaccine.The process was quick and easy. The woman who checked me in and also administered my vaccination was very friendly & easy to talk to.She ended up advising me on a separate issue my daughter was having with a prescription. This was incredibly helpful.All in all a great experience.

Usually find what I need at decent prices, rarely ever see empty shelves, even with the remodeling going on right now. Cashiers are friendly enough. But you rarely see people on the sales floor and when you do you they dont ask if you need help. As someone who works retail myself, even when Im super busy and running from one end of the store to the next I stop and ask customers if they need help. However, customer service overall has reay improved over the past 6 years.

As with most Walmart locations, this location has had a lot of changes. The shopping flow is better in some aspects but I wish carts or something had the new layout chart.

The set up is odd, with pharmacy and personal care items across the store from groceries. Strange to have to cross the store to get soap or shampoo. All Walmart stores in Maine are also going bagless starting July 1st. Bring your own bags.

Friendly service people, always great at giving help answering questions. Great prices.

It was a nightmare in self checkout and I cannot understand how it is supposed to indear any one to the process. Multiple failures to scan and two people trying to remedy the errors with 6 to 8 customers trying to check out and waiting for help. Not a easy store to shop for groceries and I dont recommend it to anyone unless you want to wait for assistance...

Convenient location but for a super center, they dont carry a handful of somewhat basic things while carrying a ton of Unicorn decorated you-name-it to be trendy. Also could be open a little bit later especially for being in a bigger town. Employees are nice though!

Had great deal on tires but now my whole vehicle shakes horribly bad and I have to take it somewhere else as they told me it was safe to drive 40 minutes back to them I will never go back there for tires again!

No assistance there are no employees on floor. And when i called for assistance several times no one came to help another customer called for assistance in same department still no employee came to assistand very in personal when it came to check out process all self checkout very cold feeling I should get a discount for ringing up own items and I brought own bag to boot. It was a drab shopping trip to Walmart Brunswick and tried auburn same there very unpleasant.

I’ve used this WalMart going on five years now. There’s really no issues that I’ve experienced with the store or staff. Generally well stocked, low prices and abundant opportunities on selections. The paper bags are an issue but bring your own. I use this store twice a month, once for groceries and again for specific items or fill-ins and top ups. The staff work hard to keep the shelves and freezers stocked and customer service and checkout is a breeze.

Walmart Brunswick Maine. Reorganizing store is taking forever (months). I go there every other week. Many products are in different places each time. Very frustrating. Also, many shelves are empty

Its Walmart. What more can you really say. It has the lowest prices and the lowest quality in town. The aisle are wide, clean and clear of clutter. The displays are genetic and impersonal. The staff walk around like zombies whos souls have been stolen. But what ever random thing you are looking for, its probably here.

Got 3 Gallon water container BPA free.Good for bringing water traveling.Plants to brighten up landscape.I cant have enough plants.Today I got deep red for summer.

On Sunday afternoon, I drove to Walmart to get a charger for my car battery. I had just had AAA start my car and, in an effort to recharge it, I drove the fifteen minutes there to buy a charger. Once I arrived, I decided to make sure it would start up, and it was dead again! I was stuck in the parking lot, unable to get back home. I asked at the entrance if someone could give me a jump and was told that the auto department was closed. I ventured in to get the charger, and stopped to ask someone who was finishing up, if it would work for me. Luckily, a man named Mike came out from the back, readying to leave at 4:00. He got involved, and told me he would bring the department’s jumper out to help me! He was ready to leave, but kindly took the time to help start my car for me. I am so appreciative of his kindness and willingness to help a stranger in need. Please recognize this man for me! In general, the employees have been helpful whenever I have had a question in the aisles or at the check out! Just wanted the manager know, that during these stressful times, I especially appreciate the kindness the employees have shown to me! Well done!

Had nothing in stock was horrible service and definitely not where anybody should go

Brought a pair of glasses in to get the lenses put in new frames, same type of frame, just newer as the old ones cracked. Got them back and the lense had been melted and destroyed, all responsibility denied.

None of the self checkouts take cash and they never have more then two checkouts you can pay cash at open. While management walks around pretending to not notice the lines and lines of people waiting.

One of the nicest Walmarts I have seen from the outside. A quick visit only allowed me to see it seemed pretty clean on the inside although there were some sectioned off areas of construction.

There were no regular registers open when we went to check out but there were four employees standing around talking in the self check out area. So now they are paying employees to do nothing but stand around and talk. On top of that the new reusable walmart bags that are being sold are half the size of the old ones, its ridiculous. Walmart is going down hill fast.

So whats up with the automatic metal gates your building to enter your store all about? Looks like some kind of digital scanner are you preparing to force vaccine Id to enter your store??? And to make it easier to social distance youve removed all but 6 check out lanes crammed them all together so your literally side by side in line, shows quite a bit of hypocrisy

Rearranging the store so that every Walmart everywhere is the same layout. This should have been done from the start. I am sure it will be better when it is all done.

This super center has the nicest floors I have ever seen for a Wal-Mart!!! Very welcoming appearance even though the store is loaded with merchandise. Great lighting. Other Wal-Marts should learn from this store. Very clean. Brunswick ordinance prohibiting plastic shopping bags, so, paper bags or shopping totes available.

Great place for cheap pants! 2 stars cuz they rip after only a week of just sitting around being lazy. But, theyre so cheap! They must be made by hardworking Americans, thats why they fall apart. But, so cheap! I just keep buying more! Every week, I head down to walmart in my torn up pants, full of holes and get a new pair! Because theyre so cheap!!

SHAME ON WAL-MART,I was shopping and only 2 registers were open. Friday afternoon, Wal-Mart jacks up their prices then expects you to do THEIR JOB, by scanning and bagging your purchases. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on. Where cashiers are behind the counter. SHAMELESS

Just like every other youve ever been inside, soulless but usually with the item you are looking for if you cant find it anywhere else. This one had lots of half filled cartons in the main aisles being stocked in the middle of the day, so made it feel more like a warehouse than a retail store. Was the stop of last resort for me that day and they had 1 of 2 items I needed. The one not in stock was pretty exotic so not surprised it wasnt on the shelf.

Amazing service and experience in automotive center best tire buying experience I have ever had. Felt that it was a well knitted crew.

They had what we were after. Not sure if I will return or not but a great chance not as this joint is a ways from home. Also if you are shopping for OFF spray we did arrive just in time to snag the last remaining can on the shelf so you may be out of luck. It did prevent me from being eaten by mosquitoes so kudos to Wally World😆

Great selection and its a huge store. The staff we helpful and courteous. Only downside was there were tons of palletized product on the floor and it was hard to navigate. This was just before noon on a Wednesday.

I am disabled, and they no longer have any human cashiers to help me check out or bag. On top of that, they had some workers doing something near the self checkouts, they did something that made a really loud bang which triggered my ptsd. I screamed, everybody stared, and then they did it again. No apology, no warning. I used to rely on Walmart, now I cant even go in there alone.

The manager of the sporting good section is very unfair and unprofessional. I went in to purchase a 12gauge pump action shotgun (not knowing exactly what I wanted, I was browsing) and she would not sell me one. She said and I quote, Im sorry I can not sell you a firearm today. Its like shopping for a vehicle, you cant not know what you want and say Im looking for something with four wheels.First of all the sass was very unnecessary and I am aloud to browse items, no matter what they are. Second, my boyfriend went in moments after and had no problem purchasing what he wanted.Very unprofessional woman.

Tried a new service today for me,allowed myself to try grocery pick-up. This was a great experience for our house hold.

If you ever want to start off your day disappointed, come here and talk to Norm. Ive never seen an employee that hates his job more than him. Its like if Mr Frederickson from UP didnt get that far in his balloon house and landed in Maine, started working at Walmart, then realized thats all hes got going for himself.Ps the Walmart is OK, just Norm who seems to be the issue

Clean store, well laid out with complete inventory

Shelves were quite bare, parking lot had trash in it and the street sweeper going though the parking lot wasn’t helping. Restrooms were clean. In the evening it’s difficult to find a cashier that can do a cash transaction. There was a large camper 100% camping in the parking lot, disconnected from the vehicle, slides out, generator on.

I bought a cool monitor 5 stars

Good selection of items with new things being added regularly. The staff is (for the most part,) nice enough and average customer-service-wise. The tech department folks are very nice and go above and beyond.

The store is being rearranged. Its a learning experience!

Love this place, I go here all the time and the customer servuce is great. I asked someone where the pepper spray was the last time I went there and they had multiple people go around the store trying to find it for me and they did. They normally have everything I need there and they have great prices. My favorite part of the store is the clearance section. ☺

Things arent stocked. Always moving stuff around. Plus having to hear another language being yelled back and forth between workers is great. Thought I was in america not Africa

Stock level could be better. Some items I get at another Shaws cost more here. Love the people who work there
