Its a nice clean store. Just missing a lot of products like every other store. Store personal didnt have any idea about products we were looking for. Had to find them ourselves.

Good selection, items are always in stock, convenient location. Quick and easy in and out for what you need. Staff is hit or miss. Some are super helpful, some will head the other way when they see you coming.

Good prices. Always find the stuff that I look for my house

Their is a lady in the flooring Area very tough, unhelpful she doesn’t want to work. I was asking her for sample of tile she said not have then asked her for marble she said some here but their a lots in aisle 11 ( hardware) when I back again to her to ask why she send me to wrong aisle she left quickly. Very very disappointed 😡😡😡

TERRIBLE customer service. I can genuinely say that this store is terrible. There is literally one employee who is great named Shirley and goes out of her way. The rest are about 12 years old and have no clue how to help people. Some even ignore customers. I went for the 3rd time today and still nobody in flooring to help me. Then I get up to check out and there’s none open except for self check out. I will be taking my business back to the small stores where customer service is a priority.

Rt 6 Bristol Connecticut.Really low moral among 95% of the people in orange aprons. Ask for cleaning supplies and they point down over there..should be on the left They are suppose to take you right to what it is your looking for..most sales people never do. This store is poorly managed and it shows, i worked for HR for 15 years ...if my store looked like the Bristol store the district manager and regional manager would have been all over me like a bad rash.Lastly, WHY why am i ringing a register for home depot every single time i go in there ? Hire cashiers and ring out your customers, get some people working in each department that actually have real experience with the items in that department. A sales person in paint should know what mineral spirits are and not say uhhhh..i dont think we sell those cmon.Depot was awesome when they opened there doors .. Wal-mart, Lowes, .. now they advertise on TV to draw in buisness, then when you get there ...mehhhh..easier to order 75% of it from Amazon.I have gone back to local hardware stores, appliance stores, lumber yards etc. less crowded and under control.

COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIMEPurchased a Power Washer online today with Home Depot, after picking up the box I quickly noticed it had been re-taped. Opened the box and the nozle was completely cracked and damaged. Another component was also unwrapped and used, a lot of markings on it.I purposely waited until today to buy from Home Depot vs buying several days ago from Amazon. Never again! Most retailers are going to learn the hard way, eventually, that the old business as usual will not cut it. its not that a product cant arrive from Amazon damaged or with some sort of issue, but its the time a consumer spends to buy local that is not valued by the local retailer. Im sitting here writing this review after spending 1 1/2 hours to drive to the store, come home to find out that I have to drive back, and my job I needed the pressure washer for is not going to be done today. Retail has to be better, or they will keep losing their customer base, ......and they lost another one today.

Love to go there...Man thing I guess..but they are great in my book..work on prices alittle..

My biggest complaint is how most of the employees go out of their way to not help you. If you ask them for help they’ll act very frustrated that you’re interrupting them. Not everyone, but it’s more rare that someone is helpful. There’s a guy in the paint dept that has always been super helpful and one lady in the cabinetry dept went above and beyond. I wish more of the staff were like that.

Wasnt busy at all, stopped in to get a vent for over the drive, was back in the car in under 25 min.

If you want terrible, apathetic service this is the place. i placed an online order on the 12th, gave them to the 19th to deliver, and since they forgot a line, they never delivered the order that day. waited all day for them to show up. then said they would bring it on the 21st, then moved it to the 26th.. here it is the 26th, and unless i called to raise hell, it wouldnt have shown up today. still hasnt. lets hope it does. the text service doesnt coordinate with the store service, so dont use that option. use Lowes moving forward. i understand mistakes happen, and stores are busy, but i gave them plenty of time to get their act together, and bristol certainly cant do that. shop somewhere else.

Im always buying more than I actually need at home Depot, but during these covid times, do it yourself home tweaks/hacks are oddly satisfying for me. It helps that every home Depot across the states Ive lived in is laid out in the same general manner and that the employees are most always very helpful and available.

You know, its Home Depot. Dustier than a flea market, a little more knowledgeable than burger King. Passable quality for a little too much money but cheaper than hiring someone. Yeah, Home Depot: you can do it, we cant help but you can buy some junk and plastic bags.

This is a nice home depot. I like the employees here. They are genuinely helpful with finding items and no hassle returns. This store is larger than the two located in Southington. Tool and equipment rental area is great. Good rates on trucks and vans. Remember that the employees here are not project experts so figure out your project and what you need then go in and they can direct you the supplies you want.

Good Home Depot and most convenient one for me. Well-stocked but a little short-staffed. Im pleased that the staff now seems to be consistently wearing masks properly, not dangling from their ears or nose exposed as was the case a few weeks ago. Im glad the manager fixed the mask problem.

This post is to rate an employee more so then the store. RJ was super helpful in helping me find what I needed at 6am and even cut some lumber for me.

Bought my GE washer & dryer set from here and it was a pretty easy process. Sally had helped me out with my choice, and she was polite and explained everything (including the delivery/installation process) thoroughly. I have no complaints about the store or employees. The only complaint I would have is that the delivery company is 3rd party and there is possibly a communication issue. I was charged for a new vent that was never installed for the dryer and it was definitely supposed to be installed. That’s no fault of the store, so I don’t hold it against them.But I was told by the 3rd party company the refund for the vent would reflect back onto my bank account and it never did. So I paid for a vent and install of the vent and I never received it. I had to go out and buy another vent so that I could use my dryer and install the vent myself... thankfully I can find humor at my own expense I guess because I laughed thinking about it afterwards that they so-called “installed” my dryer without the entire vent attached, and it could’ve been a pretty bad mess had I turned it on to use it without a vent and I think that’s probably a fire hazard too. Really I don’t think you can call it an install if you just place an appliance down on the floor without completing the setup required for it lol. It wasn’t an extremely expensive vent, but kind of irritating to throw money away regardless and I felt lied to by the 3rd party which was also annoying and they could’ve been more professional. Truthfully I wonder if the guy even knew how to install the vent, or if it was just laziness on their part, the world may never know lol. Just something to keep in mind when you’re charged up front for any extra accessory for your washer or dryer.

I purchased a 1x12x4 common and it was only 11 3/16ths, they dont even sell the correct lumber dimensions and it cost me $18.00.Do not by lumber from home depot, I couldnt even use it for my project since it was undersized. Rip off

Good to find things for home repairs but sometimes they dont have what your looking for. You have to go all the way to Southington Home Depot to get what your looking for. Southington store is better stocked

The Bristol, CT Home Depot has gotten better at helping there customers (to a certain degree) when I asked about a couple of different things on two separate occasions, on two different days. They did help me promptly and swiftly. Even when I checked out an associate helped me check out using the self-checkout register.

I like The Home Depot because they have workshops on weekends for children. The Home Depot have nice flowers in their garden centers. Hours are Monday-Saturday 6am-8pm and Sunday 8am-8pm only West Hartford hours are Monday-Saturday 6am-8pm and Sunday 9am-6pm. I wonder if home depot hours change when daylight savings time starts. Lowes hours are Monday-Saturday 6am-9pm and Sunday 7am-8pm.

On line customer support is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I spoke to 3 different people in one hour and the “Lead” was rude stating “well you don’t work at home depo”!!!!! I spent over $1500!! To be treated like garbage!!!! Hopefully ordering ft lows will be a better experience! So beyond upset!

Nice store overall, did not like the layout as compared to other stores. Friendly staff. Parking is always busy there and the main road is very congested as well.

Everyone at the store was friendly and helpful. However the online ordering experience was a nightmare. They got 3 separate issues wrong, shipped $1700 worth of goods to the wrong address, had conflicting fixes from 3 different representatives, and I will likely end up needing to challenge the items on my home Depot credit card(which I will never be using again). Dont give this company your money, support your local family owned places that actually care about your business. Or if you need to order online, go to Amazon. They have better prices and will actually get your order right, and even ship it to the correct address!Edit: The employees at the store were very helpful returning all these items. I highly recommend returning any items bought from Home Depot!

Inventory is pretty good and you can usually find what you want. Prices are usually competitive. Difficult to find straight boards. Went through about a hundred 2 x 3s to find 15 good ones. Customer service is just okay, only had one person, a female, ask me if I needed any help and then she also helped me check-out at the self check-out.

I always come here because its a couple miles from home. Today was one of those let me review them days. I had trouble with a paint that I got meaning my wife didnt like it. I brought them back hoping for a Miracle and it came in the form of two employees Alexis and Kim at the paint dept.They spent a good half hour mixing and retrying to match the color I needed... changing, adding different tints until we got one my wife liked.These 2 are a phenomenal part of an all around great cast at this location

Went two weeks ago for a Black Friday deal, couldnt find what we were looking for and couldnt find a clerk to ask. We finally found item online in the same store. What could have have taken 15 min. took almost an hour and a half to find because they were understaffed and didnt know who would know.
