First the positives. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and manufactured with great quality, really couldn’t be happier with the product. The custom setting process was highly tailored to our wishes and iterated several times to make sure we loved the rendering before moving forward. Along the way we received expert input, advice, and education to pick the right setting specs and choose the best diamonds for our budget. Finally the total price was as expected so we really felt we got what we paid for.As for opportunities. The process set up and white glove approach was a major draw to using Brilliance but several times the customer service was below expectation. For example, had consultation meetings moved several times and last minute by the Brilliance rep, had the Brilliance rep fail to call in to a scheduled meeting, had many delayed responses on questions. Generally felt like each step was a bit slower than expected, including manufacturing delays (due to covid so can’t blame anyone there). While my timeline was somewhat flexible so it was not detrimental overall, it did cause us to lose some diamonds of interest to the open market from not moving quickly enough. Folks with tight timelines should really consider at least an extra month buffer if doing any custom job.

The customer service here is terrible. Management is not much help. Not to mention they give you a hard time about getting photos of their products. If I’m spending thousands of dollars the least they could do it send me a photo. I will say, I think the pricing is some of the best out there.

Maria took my out-of-state call. She was very polite and patient in working with me and how I wanted the setting to look. Three days later I felt comfortable enough to order the custom setting over the phone, verbally giving a stranger the number to an $18,000 purse. The setting was only $1,500 but there was room for shenanigans if the person chose to do so. She didn’t, the organization didn’t, and three weeks later I had my custom setting on my front porch being delivered and signed for. Absolutely a painless process and such a relief to get what you wanted when you’re looking at a picture online and live 700 miles away. Thank you, Maria. The yellow diamond at brilliance.com was so stunning! I was skeptical about ordering from this site after reading some of the reviews, but the price of my diamond was definitely lower than other vendor’s diamond with equivalent quality. It came before the estimated arrival date and communication was very clear for my order. Would buy again.

I will not ever recommend Brilliance to anyone!They gave my husband and I a very hard time. It’s totally not worth it. I paid $500 for the design deposit our wedding bands and we did not get the design we wanted. They kept on prolonging. Once we finally got the wedding bands mailed to us, it wasn’t what we asked for. We had to send it back and when we finally got them for the last time, it still was not perfect like we initially wanted including the engraving missing. When we told them about the bands they ignored us. So my husband opened a dispute at PayPal. Brilliance is the type that if you are happy with your bands everything is good but if you have problems with your bands then they will not be there to help you and that’s the sad part. I’m putting a review because PayPal dispute just covered the payment without the design deposit. The design deposit is not covered and brilliance tried to trick us. We were told we would get the design deposit only with a mutual agreement to avoid a bad review. Since we already put so much effort we decided not to accept the mutual agreement and do the engravings on our own. Stay away from Brilliance!

I purchased a diamond from Brilliance last spring for over 11,000 dollars. After several weeks, when I was still not able to get any information as to when I might get the diamond, I cancelled my order. Then, I never could get the refund processed. I was put in touch with the COO Jonathon, who kept promising me that my refund would be forthcoming and at one point even said it had been processed on my credit card. Still, no refund was ever processed through my card. He then told me he had to do a test refund for a small amount before he could process the real refund, the first time in my life Ive ever heard of such. (The test refund came through after several days) When I checked online reviews, I saw that some other customers had similar experiences dealing with this company. Finally, I turned the matter over to Chase, and let them dispute the charges, and I got my money back that way. Im not sure I ever would have gotten the refund were it not for Chase taking action. It was a very stressful situation which dragged on for weeks. I would definitely not recommend doing business with this outfit.

Stay away! My experience/review is too long so see photos for my lengthy detailed review. Brilliance.com does not care about satisfying their customers. Once they get your money, good luck. They take too long to do ANYTHING, don’t respond to you and their QC department sucks as they ship rings in poor condition. I can finally post this review because I proposed to my girlfriend (now Fiancé!). Keep in mind that I wrote this review as the events happened to keep the information accurate.

Jon, Jonathan, and Danica were all so helpful. They are Honest and straight forward. The price was very resonable and quality of the diamond was exceptional. I also decided to get the ring made with them. They made a perfect engagement ring and we actually wanted it to be a little thinner. They altered the ring for us without a question. They will be recommended to friends and family for any diamond jewelry.

Solving issues is showing the real customer values lived by BrillianceWe had our big day without our wedding bands due to the behavior of these guys, due to Brilliance wasn’t able to overcome an issue started with a failure in renderings done on our engagement ring. Instead of solving the issue Brilliance started a fight. Customers which already paid $500 wedding rings design deposit.They did a great job with searching and providing the perfect diamond. By starting the engagement ring design, we “annoyed” Brilliance by being overwhelmed by the possibilities of designs with the engagement ring. Got so many different ideas by Brilliance. Some rings we liked we asked for more detailed pictures which haven’t been online.Brilliance confirmed the ring size for two slightly different renderings. But by doing calculations based on pixel counting I realized the proportions weren’t as confirmed. By showing that fact to Brilliance we got treated like sh.t. Proportional correct renderings are important for decisions! I asked to speak with a manager. Got a call by the COO. He started immediately to argue. He took it obviously personal that his brother got blamed, maybe it’s cultural topic. But he should be smart and act like a business man. He wasn’t able to accept they made a mistake, which could happen. How solving issues is showing a lot about how customers are valued.The COO wasn’t able to say honestly sorry. I put pressure that I will stop the business and just take the diamond and that’s it. He said a sorry which felt more like “f… you”. And promised to solve the case and take over to speed up the process. As we wanted to do the package: engagement band and wedding bands he told due to urgency of the engagement band he is doing first just the engagement and afterwards the wedding bands. Which we accepted.Regardless if Brilliance doing great work on the bands, how they handle issues is showing a lot of their values.After putting a review Brilliance did the wedding bands. But poor performance. The women wedding ring wasn’t a copy of the engagement ring. It was more brother instead of a twin. Size and color of the diamonds was different. The men band wasn’t done matt as ordered. At least they fixed these issues. The aligned engravings on the inside, we asked for a date, wasn’t done even after we sent the bands for the rework. Additionally, the certificate of the rings aren’t correct. We are waiting now since more than two months for a correct certificate and getting only poor excuses: “You didn’t receive the email, I (COO) sent it already as few days ago”.We recently got the updated certificate after I put the review online again. The certificate was brand new, not the date the COO told he already sent it out. Liars!Forget about judging by reviews on the Brilliance web page, they only leave the good ones. Mine got deleted immediately. Wondering why there are barely bad reviews?We asked Brilliance for small compensation to get the money for the missing engravings. They refused and asked for a mutual agreement. I prefer to share my experience instead of getting paid for removing my bad review. We even gave them the chance to come up with a 3D draft design of an emerald ring to show that they are willing to do better (of course for a special price). The COO wanted to have a conversation before. They should just use the engagement ring with some small easy changes. No need to talk before doing a 3D draft.We opened a dispute on PayPal, but the $500 design deposit (250 each band) isn’t covered. Brilliance is offering a “full refund” of the PayPal amount. Since Brilliance is constantly lying, we don’t trust them anymore. We were asking to get the money compensated for the engravings we did with a jewelry store in Germany, which Brilliance wasn’t able to do. Now they are opening once more a trap to get the remaining $500. At least a mutual agreement will be needed to get the full refund for sure.These guys are not able to run a trustful business like this. I can’t recommend working with them.

Extremely satisfied with the ring and the company!I rarely write product reviews and I even less frequently make major purchases such as jewelry online. I did a lot of research and looked at many sites before deciding to purchase from Brilliance. I spoke with Anthony, and he patiently helped me find the exact stone I wanted. And when the ring showed up, it was stunning! Exactly what I wanted. And my sweety was blown away.So my advice is: do your homework, known what youre buying, and then buy from Brilliance. They exceeded my expectations in the product, the price, and the support.

Recently ordered through Brilliance.com and was especially impressed with their customer service. They called me before shipping the ring to make sure everything was all set. After shipping to a fedex location for pickup, I forgot to go grab it in time. When I contacted them, they took care of me right away. A lot of companies would have been much more difficult to work with in a process like this. 100% would recomend for all your jewelery needs.

SCAMMERS! I had to INVOLVE LAWYER to get a REFUND for the item of jewelry which has never been delivered.I talked to their representative before placing an order to ensure that the item I want can be delivered before certain date. They ensured me that if the order placed immediately they are going to deliver it on time. When the promised delivery date came, nothing was delivered, so I reached out to support and they told me I had to call the COO to discuss my order. COO told me that the item is delayed by customs, so I demanded a full refund, since they were not able to deliver item on time as they promised, which he agreed. Next 4 weeks after that I tried to reach COO again by phone and email, but he was completely ignoring me – no single response to emails, not picking up the phone most of the time, few times when picking up the phone promising to call me back shortly and never actually calling me back. I managed to get a full refund only after reaching out to the lawyer. Beware that they are located in Florida, so you will have to find a lawyer in Florida and go to court in Florida in case of disputes (read their arbitration agreement on site).

My fiance purchased my engagement ring through Brilliance and I cannot rave enough about it. I was very unsure when he told me he purchased it online, but boy did he do his homework! He said all his questions were answered and they were very helpful. My diamond came with a GIA certificate and appraisal. The 1st thing we did was go to a jeweler to make sure everything was legit and they were very impressed with my ring. It is a great feeling when the jeweler is asking where we got it and telling me how beautiful it is.. I will 100% refer all my friends to shop at Brilliance and continue to shop here if i have anymore diamond needs. I love my ring so much and so thankful my fiance was able to design the ring through Brilliance. Myself or my fiance could not be happier from his buying/designing experience to the final product. I truly cant say enough how great my experience with Brilliance was. First off, Anthony Capolla walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. He helped me pick an amazing diamond thats GIA certified (I had the diamond verified by GIA Labs in NY to match GIA engravings and report after delivery). He then had their designers build a perfect setting, designed from a concept I sent to him, that hit the mark 1000% As I didnt get to have the actual stone and setting in my hands, I was understandably nervous. Anthony reassured me through every step by personally calling and sending confirmatory emails. As I explained to Anthony from the beginning, I needed the ring no later than Christmas and it was delivered 12/20, 5 days before. Truthfully, I live in NYC and could have gone to any diamond dealer in the diamond district. I did my research and realized that I trusted Brilliance more, knowing that their ratings were verifiable, then a local diamond dealer with every incentive to make the most money possible off of every client (as their rating are not verifiable). Bottom line with Brilliance; they delivered what they promised, the price was great, they are rated, verified, trusted and I wholly recommend Brilliance and Anthony Capolla to anyone who is in the market for an engagement ring or any diamond stone or ring. My Fiancee loves her ring and we both couldnt be happier with Brilliances all around amazing job! We will be back for the wedding bands soon. Thank you Brilliance and especially Anthony!

Terrible customer service. Their prices are fair, but we decided to cancel our order when they asked us to send them a picture of our credit card for verification purposes for their insurance company. This it the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I would never send this picture. After cancelling, they tried to hold me in a refund period. Told me it could take up to 20 business days (4 weeks). That is absolutely ridiculous. They never even shipped a product. It shouldnt take that long. Ended up reporting it to our credit card company. Do yourself a favor and buy locally from a mom and pop shop. Same products, (usually) same pricing, much better customer service.

I would give Zero if that was possible. My husband order diamond & somehow it received after 25 days of the order & return policy is within 30 days. We initiate return & claim for refund but it was literally 1.5 month we didnt receive our refund while placing order they talk so sugary but almost every other day my husband used to take follow up & everytime they say we are in process. After wards he posted negative review on website after reading that they ask to remove review & sign legal agreement that in future you will not post any negative review . After signing that agreement we received our refund after two days . Actually this so disgusting . I would say cheat as well as poor customer service. If people say truth then they are forcing to shut mouth otherwise they will not refund our money. This is something against consumer act..
