I Love it. Walmart is simply the Best shop one could ever dream to shop at. Nearly everything in one place under one roof. Big room for the store and no congestion at tills because they have many auto cash machines. Great place indeed.

Store is clean and easy access, but its difficult to get any help. Not sure if its a covid thing.

Always friendly associates eager to walk you to the items I cannot find. However, here in Boone NC the prices are about 15% higher.

Love this walmart always fresh fruit an vegetables. Also deli is always fresh meat an food they make meals with.. and its always stocked. And I love thier self checkout dont think Ive seen a self checkout register closed more than 3 times in 2 years. Only thing I disagree on is how its always crowded but at the same time what can u say when u have a high quality place to shop...

The associate was very friendly and very helpful, and help me find exactly what I was looking for.. He was so kind, even held it for me to get to the store to pick it up! Wonderful customer service!! Another one was very gracious to get something off the high shelf for me. Didnt have everything, I needed but hopefully, theyll have it back in stock soon.

We went in looking for chairs, cause we forgot to bring ours. We choose Boone for our vacation. Anyway they had some great chairs there to choose from. Very convenient and quick!!

Its a Walmart...They tend to be out of stock on the things I need. Ladies products, office supplies, candy, etc. are usually low on stock if present at all. Just remember there are several thousand college students living down the street.

Why is neat and organized not a priority at Walmarts(anymore.) Ive been to several Walmarts in the last several months(all over the east coast), no longer well stocked and or neat(clean-ish.) Why is it that no matter what Walmart I go to, parents think it is an amusement park for their kids. Always a child crying(screaming) and the parent(adult) with them dont ever try and quiet them down and no body at Walmart will say anything. Asking these questions for a friend.

Its Walmart. The employees dont want to be there and neither do you. Get in and out quick. They never have enough registers open. Expect to wait in line.

This store is crowded and cramped. It has such a small selection compared to other stores (like Target or other Wal Marts).Their produce is of poor quality and often spoils quickly once it is taken home.They seem to have trouble keeping many items stocked, especially in sporting goods and gardening. Often seasonal sporting equipment will get stocked at the beginning of a season and never stocked again (like fishing and hunting equipment). They also do not sell any type of pistol ammunition and dont sell most rifle ammunition. Black powder is rarely in stock as well.While the staff is nice, it often takes 10+ minutes to get someone to help with simple tasks.This store is just too cramped, seemingly understaffed, understocked, and carries inferior quality products. If you need groceries Id suggest making an extra trip to a grocery store, where the quality and selection of food is better.

Coming from Jacksonville, Florida where no one cares about the next person and then when I moved to Boone and I saw the most amazing thing... every cart/buggy was put up and not left out to ram someones Lambo. This beautiful lady is beaming with happiness! I wish she was all mine.. still speaking of the Lamborghini. ;)

It was a Walmart. It doesnt surprise as far as that goes, but the selection of foods has been steadily diversifying and improving. Spicy crunchy broad bean snacks? Yep. Cauliflower crust pizza-to-go? Yep. Nothing truly mind blowing, but overall nice and I found myself pleasantly surprised by the variety of products that were available in most sections.

My sister and I had an amazing experience at this Walmart today with a T-ROC employee. He T-ROCKED! Her phone was broken and he was eager to troubleshoot and tackle any issue with it. We think his name was Jaden. Walmart please make to appreciate your T-ROC employees.

Wednesday evening the store was moderately full, everyones bustling around; by 7 pm, the registers had cleared out so there was barely a wait to check out. Great!This is a superstore, with the grocery, pharmacy, and all the departments under a single roof. Ive made a resolution to support our local small retail owners, but this place makes one-stop shopping SO easy. When I first step into the store, those colorful displays of fresh organic fruits and vegetables draw me in, even though Im not shopping for organic produce, and then I want to try everything that seems exotic in the freezer sections!They have some of the cheeriest, most helpful floor associates in town. When I went through checkout, my too-well-worn card wouldnt read, and the long-suffering cashier coached encouraged me through 6 tries! (It finally worked.)I will support our local businesses at every chance, but feel that WalMart has earned its place in Boone.

My usual Walmart experience is good. However, I encountered the least professional customer service when I called this morning. I knew that the employee was going to have an attitude the moment she picked up with her irritable tone. I have experience providing customer service as a receptionist, and felt I was the one providing her customer service. When I said, “thank you and have a nice day”, Melissa said, “uh huh”.

There were not enough registers open and at least 5 people waiting in every line. I called earlier in the day and was hung up on mid question. They have really dropped in basic courtesies.

This store is terrible, Pick up the phone and call it - your phone will ring and ring then hang up. Walmart is just a non-customer related factory that pumps out basic stuff non-stop. If you want individual customer care, I have yet to work with anyone trained to do that at the Boone store. Boone is a Great place to live but Boones Walmart is not the best place to shop...

Electronics not the greatest. I went in there and had to track them down to get a TV. The rep I spoke with was extremely uninterested. Im literally like I want to buy this $750 product now and youd think theyd be a bit more engaged. When I was in sales, Id leap for joy for anyone who was ready to spend. Not these guys.Ironic that as I waited for pickup, another gentleman who wasnt as polite as me approaches them and says Ive been looking at TVs for a while now, do you want my business or not b/c you act like you dont and its extremely rude. Rep begrudgingly followed him so he could choose a TV to buy.My guys, if youre miserable, get a different job. Neither I or the next guy were deserving of acting like we were a nuisance.The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because the ladies at customer service were 5 star worthy.

Was giving them 3 stars but not anymore, when we have something delivered to us, we dont want to find the box in terrible condition and the contents in the box broken!! This Walmart supercenter is okay. They usually have everything you need. Really crowded most of the time. Its a Walmart...... Really disappointed in the online ordering, shipping, and pickup department though. Ordered a garden tiller online, had it shipped to store, it was three days late and the box was tore up and taped back together. Maybe because it was heavy but still no excuse for that when you pay over $300 for something.. Most of the time I have a great online ordering experience from Walmart but not this time...

I was in and out quick, had excellent customer service in electronics looking for some Bluetooth earbuds. This story is always busy, so that is also saying a lot. Plus the usual amount of weirdness that comes out of the woods to shop, always makes WalMart interesting.

Byron ROCKS! I am a regular Walmart shopper and have been since Boone Walmart opened its doors in 1996. My experiences have most often been satisfactory, but I’ve never felt the need to write a review...until this morning when I met Byron. Byron is the kind of employee that makes you stop and look at his name tag and then hurry to your car to write a review. His customer service skills and work ethic are top notch. When it seems like quality customer experiences are farther and fewer between in today’s world, Byron reminds me that people are good and life is good. He has THE BEST personality, and he truly stands above the rest in his people skills. I stopped to ask him about where to find a waste basket. He stopped what he was doing, led me to the correct aisle, let me know there was one Black Friday waste can left, explained to me how I was saving so much money, listened to my needs and helped me from beginning to end. He’s just fabulous in every way. He knows how to treat people. He knows the products. He knows his job. He’s just plain good. Give the man a raise. Give the man a promotion. Send him to corporate and have him train employees on how to treat customers. He’s going places. Employees like that are so hard to find and Walmart needs to hang on to that man. I hope they recognize how valuable he is. I literally met the man five minutes ago and am already raving about my experience after never feeling the need to write a review about Walmart in 30 years. He’s THAT good. To Walmart: Take care of Byron because Byron takes care of your customers. He’s more than an asset. He sets the standard of excellence.

Tried to use their order pickup process at the Boone, NC store. On 2 occasions, I drove to the pickup location and called the number to retrieve my pickup. No response; I cancelled the order. Done with Pickup option. Useless.

This might be the best walmart I have visited around this area the bath rooms could use some assistance with sanitation witch might be a big concern with covid going on but other then that product selection is nice and shelfs are consistent and neat. Staff is super nice and customer service guys are great with helping an processing returns efficiently so that there is not 30 people waiting in line to return items.

So we went to that subway in the Walmart... They got my sub but they forgot the other sub I wanted. We are very disappointed. And he got extra protein with that sub...

I could probably take every single one of the guys who work here in a fight. Its not an insult its just that I really am that strong, luckily I dont show off. Ive been studying for the past 2 decades about pressure points and special holds that can block a persons chakras. You all have no idea how powerful I really am. Nice prices on food.

Perfectly sized Wally World. Not too big and not too small, with a great variety of stuff. Exterior architecture is nice as well and blends into the mountain town of Boone very well for a typically ugly big box store.

Didnt answer the phone until I let it ring continuously and then were very rude (cut me off while I was talking) and said they couldnt help me extend the time for my pickup order.
