I was having trouble looking for a specific item. If they dont know, they will make sure you find someone who does. And before you know it you have a whole team helping you to find it. Theyll even check back if they see you later and ask if you got everything you need. Super nice.

I think their purchasing department is on sabbatical. I goin often, and never get inspired to shop. Seems they could use their space for better product. I would, and Im not a professional.

September 23, went in for a couple things, found a Polaroid Magnetic Wireless Light Speaker with Bluetooth Capability, werent looking for one, but saw it loved it BOUGHT IT!! Get home excited to have music in bathroom for showertime. Husband opens box, speakers Styrofoam containment damaged and broken, Power cord broken not in plastic bag provided. The USB charging cord damaged and to top if off it doesnt even WORK!!! SO MY EXPERIENCE SUCKED SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER,ATTENTION MANAGERS WATCH WHAT YOUR PEOPLE ARE DOING!!! THEY put a returned product back on shelve for some other POOR SAP( ME) to buy!!Thanks for nothing and lost money!!!

Was in there store on Sunday 8/15 to buy a 50 pk of blank dvds. They had both kinds dvd + & dvd-The price on the shelf for the + was $6 the price for the - was $13.99. I like the + and I knew the $ was wrong so when I went to check out ask for the $ … was told $15.99 so I said nope I went and got the - ones where the $ on the shelf said $13.99… got back she scanned it and it said $15.99… I said there is no $ on the shelf that says that… she said sorry that is the $… then she said I can call the manager to come over….I said nope and will not shop in that store again…As I was wiling around the store I saw about at least 1/4 of there merchandise I’d not have a $ on the shelf and of the price on the shelves I wonder how many are correct…Very poor management …I was a assistant store manager of a retail store and having no $ or wrong $ was not acceptable …

The shelves were pretty bare and the prices were nothing better than average. At least it wasnt crowded and the employees were helpful and pleasant.

Great place to shop first for lower prices, but they dont have everything. Some items are mediocre quality, and wastes your hard-earned money. They have a lot of great deals, and promotions. Great selection on furniture, housewares, cleaning supplies, toiletries, snacks, and drinks.

Rudest people EVER on the phone...Ive never been treated so awfully by MULTIPLE employees. While trying to find a couch to be delivered, both employees acted put out that I had even called. Unprofessional and Ill be emailing corporate over it!

This is a great bargin store. Have to look a little, but have a wide variety of stock. Stock changes some so kind of a treasure hunt. Usually can find a clerk and they are usually helpful and friendly.

Serious savings on quality products! Everything from pet products to luxery home items at deep discounts. Always happy with quality of items too.

We went for wrapping paper. Didnt have any, to me this is a basic item to have on hand? I guess this is a hit and miss situation. If you are in area maybe a good place to get cheaper but dont spend too much time looking

Typical cheap store. Employees act like they would rather be walking on Legos in the dark then actually helping you. Most of the goods are cheap quality. Sometimes you may find a great deal on an excellent product. I generally get dish towels and bath towels there.

I cant tell you how friendly and helpful the staff is at this store. I moved here from Florida and its the only Big Lots in Central Oregon. Im happy their here! Darrin in the furniture dept is worth a special shout out for all the help he has offered to me!

Manager is so dumb its shocking hes not terminated. Always full of drug addicts and people stealing in sin sight. Laura is a supervisor who one minute is hugging you for arriving and the next on the verve of cost to cuffs over handling your returns. Disorganized. Everyones trained differently it seems. Carp products, especially electronics. Rubbermaid buckets of $0.10 lipstick and $18 dollar brooms. While store is like goodwill except new. Its a cheap trip and the staff will still make you regret the while $5.00 and 10 minutes of your life.

These guys ticked me off my last visit though....basket near full, pocket full of cash and the employees were following me everywhere....one after the other....I was very upset. Really fun store

When you visit this Bend location, BEWARE. A parentally supervised older child was at the store last evening. She stooped to LOOK ( not touch) something on a lower shelf. An animated Halloween item began to rock the shelving above, causing a dangerous object to topple down onto the childs head. The manager rushed over and assumed the child touched something, ignoring the parents report. Procedure would be, in any store, to ask about the child, take pertainent information and report to corporate. How rude, assuming and unprofessional the manager behaved, further ranting about children touching things with another coworker, rather than addressing this important issue. Customer service: big fat zero. Lack of regard for customer safety: big fat zero. Manager score: F-

In general I really like Big Lots for their pricing. However, this review is based on a recent experience at the Bend store. We went in to buy a couch and the guy in the furniture department said they were out of the one we wanted but would be getting more in the following week. He did not offer to sell us the floor model or to pay for one of the new couches coming in. He took our name and told us hed call. Well, he didnt. We called back several times and then they told us 2 more came in but they were already sold!!! SHEESH! I aint waiting another week or 2 for more to come in just for them to tell us they are already sold. As far as Im concerned this is terrible customer service. If he had offered us the floor model I probably would have taken it. Oh well. Craigslist here I come....

Big lots. You know how it is. Seen one? Seen em all. They got furniture a la IKEA in this one. Bought a dining table, it was ok. Not worth 300 bucks tho. Bench didnt fasten right at first. You gotta bust-an-elbow to do it right. Seats a bit chintzy. Chairs lose their balance, start to wobble. Re-adjust every 6 mo in regular use seemed to work. Patio furniture deals off season are good.
