I still dont get it. I have been into this chain 10x in my life. Each time expecting to find something i cant get at wholepaycheck or a local big chain...each time...sos...and i walk out. So help me out, who is their clientell?

They have reasonably priced organic produce, nuts and pre-packaged bulk items. Pasture raised chicken eggs cheaper than any other store I have found.

I love all the variety of Organic Products they have. Can goods are organic w/ no toxic preservatives or binding agents. To me, prices are great compared to other Major Grocery chains around town.

I love their produce section of the store. And although the people who worked on the day I went acted as if theyd never seen a black person before the two people I had brief interactions with were very nice. I would definitely shop here again if Im in the area and recommend.

How do I put this... I always really enjoyed coming to this natural grocers and it seems like the staff are trying very hard to keep up. But every time I’m in their vitamins department I get zero help. And if I finally am able to talk to the very unavailable health coach, she is like talking to a wall... you can tell she just wants to sit back in her office and eat her food where she usually sits inert. Thank you

I can say we love the local vendor selection available! The staff is usually always friendly and helpful. However, the produce quality is definitely concerning. I spoke with the very sweet soft spoken produce manager, and she was apologetic, but I question the amount of traffic for produce which causes an old product to be displayed and offered at full price. She suggested that having been closed the day before was the cause of many items being completely aged, but the produce had been too old for longer than a day. I suggest only using this location for supplements and maybe produce when it was delivered that day.

What can I say about this chill~laxy store. Whose store peeps let me ramble about my life and they listen - ask questions with such genuine care. Some say it my stardust magic, nope its the universe giving us humans...good people. I love this store😘

I am not sure why I always felt unwelcome in this store (perhaps I am the wrong type of customer), especially by staff at the checkout. They seem to be always quite unhappy and treat some customers with contempt.I only bought three items and I proceeded to a vacant checkout where nobody except the cashier was waiting. As soon as I approached the lady at the cashier, she put her hand out to stop me from proceeding and said something that I did not understand. She pointed at some groceries that were sitting by the counter (not even on the conveyer belt). I then decided to wait in line for the other counter. For about 5 minutes I looked a few times at the other counter. The first cashier lady was staring at me all the time and was still waiting for that other customer to arrive. When my turn came to proceed with putting my groceries on the belt, I was getting quite frustrated. I told the second cashier lady that her colleague could have put the other customer on hold if they are not ready and completed my purchase in about one minute. The lady at the second cashier did not seem to care and told me to wait until the customer in front of me paid for her groceries.After I paid for my groceries, the second cashier did not even bother asking me if I wanted a receipt (I work in retail and it is a basic service to ask the customer if they need a receipt). I walked a couple of steps thinking that the receipt would be inside the bag of groceries. When I discovered that there was no receipt, I walked back and asked the 2nd cashier lady for the receipt. She said there was no receipt. When I insisted that I needed a receipt, she reluctantly went through the trash can and finally found my receipt ripped halfway through the middle. Needless to say, that there were neither thanks nor apologies in all these interactions.I would not recommend going to this store because of how certain customers are treated. I now understand the review sent by the local guide (Mark Johnston) about three months ago regarding this store’s staff’s discriminatory behaviour. Perhaps the staff think that they are better than others because they sell high-end groceries and not everybody should shop there. You don’t have to look around too long to realize that the store’s staff all come from one ethnic group and perhaps they only respect people from that group. Either way, I would like to say to them “Shame on you!”.

Nicest natural grocers in the Portland and Vancouver area, with the best selection. PLUS they recently added a new whine and beer department! It looks like maybe they eliminated the rarely used community room area up front. They still have classes in the back though!

Always a super good place for super good Austin organic food of all different types of super awesome variety of all different things and theyre both food is really good. The only drawback I got to say is that they put everything a little plastic bags and Ive been really conscious of how much plastic especially how much plastic film but what other choices theyre supposed to reusable containers but gosh considering the pandemic all I kind of stuff how do we keep things sanitary its really sort of an uncompromising situation. We need more bioplastics more bioderived biologically derived plastic type materials for containers for these bulk foods

I was 25 cents short for my drinks but the clerk was super sweet and held onto them as I skated back to the café to acquire the missing change. Unfortunately I was later assaulted by John R Green who runs Bootleggers Whiskey bar right down the street so I wasnt able to really enjoy them because of the taste of blood in my mouth. They made good ice packs though. Ill always come back here. The employees are sweet and respectful and Ive always had an easy time finding what I need.

Its a legit natural store thats not trendy like trader Joes or whole foods. It has a lot of raw roots not commonly found at the other natural shops

I absolutely love Natural Grocers. Sometimes they dont have the Eggs I prefer but during this present Pandemic it is understandable. The employees are friendly, helpful and courteous.

Just left. They had 2 lines open. The grocers kept sending me to the other because they were each having issues. They then opened one up to a customer behind me. Walked over behind him. After she helped him, told me to go back to the other line...Pretty discriminatory...

I dont go here often but I was looking for one item. I find what I wanted and picked up a few extras. Enough cashiers to move the line quickly and really good sanitation practices in place.

This place is great for so many reasons. Workers are willing to look things up for you. The selection is pretty good. The eggs are all from free ranging chickens, and its easy to get grass fed meats and dairy. They have a lot of healthy smoothie additives, like green banana flour, and others.

Besides quality grocery store items Natural Grocers has a large selection of health supplements. I came in today for frozen fruit, fresh ginger root, and to see what acai products were available. A friendly clerk showed me acai in pills and liquid, but no acai bowls or powder. I settled for acai supplements.

Clean and easy to find things. More options for vegan community to purchase vegan food, and vegan products. Lots of supplemental products. A bit more spendy but its for quality stuff.

They have Einkorn pasta which I always recommend as its the original wheat before we messed with it 100 years ago. Great deals on healthy eggs. Love Kyte brand dairy substitute as well. And pioneer brand spices. Friendly, fun staff.

I do like this store it’s cute and has lots of great organic options. I wouldn’t bother with the health coach, she’ll just hand you a stack of paper related to the vitamin not even answering the question and brush you off. Regardless I’ll continue to ship here.

I love natural grocers. Great prices on organic foodstuffs and beyond. Better warmer employees than other grocery stores. Only criticism is that stuff is often out of stock, but I cant complain.

The staff here are great. and the food here is the absolute best quality, for an excellent price. They have tons of organic/non-gmo food and health products. All produce is great quality. I love going to this place because they always have interesting food items from local brands. This place is like whole foods, but slightly better quality, better prices and more locally sourced products.

Always quality produce, they were just out of a few items that I wanted but other than that I do like shopping the specials.

Fairly reasonable prices with a decent selection of organic items. They also carry an assortment of naturopathic supplements, beauty products and personal care items.

I feel safe grocery shopping here. Everyone is masked and respects social distancing, and used carts are kept separate from clean ones. Theres a lot of great produce, bulk herbs, and they carry Quorn products.

Don’t expect your favorite items to be in stock if you shop in the evening. I always do my grocery shopping after dinner and items I see in the natural grocers ads are always gone by the time I visit the store. So I end up buying about 50% of the items I intended. This has been a common occurrence over the past several weeks. They rarely if ever restock shelves in the evening.One more note, some supplements they have in their mailer they promote on sale/discount aren’t listed as discounted when you see them in store. I wanted to get some probiotics that were listed as 20% off, then when I get there the bottle lists the normal price with no sale.So in summary:Items out of stockItems falsely discounted

This store is filled with healthy products and has a huge supplement area. It has a laid back feel, and the customer service people have always been super helpful to me. I prefer to shop here compared to other similar stores.

My go to place for pretty much all my vegan products. They have the best prices Ive found on Beyond beef products, several of my favorite vegan cheeses, Vegannaise, and also gluten free and vegan breads. They also have gorgeous produce, and it is all organic! Ooh, and their packaged bulk products are best on price and quality Ive ever seen. Things like herbs, spices, grains and flours, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits.

My favorite store to shop! All fruit and veggies are organic. The meats they have are of excellent sources. Nice staff. Soy-free eggs.

Poor produce selection but decent bulk, body care, and vitamin departments. The meat and cheese selections are slim, but of good quality. Various classes and tastings held from time to time, but nothing to write home about. Sales are decent, but seem to be hit and miss. Overall, I like the place but cant seem to fully do a weeks shopping here.

It can be a nice place to shop unless you need ANY assistance at all! If you need help finding something then you shouldnt be shopping there, unfortunately. Searching for supplements can take an hour and dont bother asking about out of stock items.Lastly, if you ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving, be prepared to wait 30+ minutes to pick it up. And hope they still have your turkey available. I ordered two, paid a deposit on two and they only had me down for one when I got there. I do not blame the employees but the company. They do not give their stores enough staff especially for the holidays!! The employees try but they have to work with what they are given.

Ive been to other Natural Grocers and they had a lack of produce.

This natural grocers isnt quite as high as the one I am used to, but its still a great location. I have been visiting lately to buy some pregnancy tea that I cant find elsewhere. I love shopping for new drinks and snacks to try while Im there. If you love wholesome earthy hippy vibes, youll love this store. My only complaint is they are so far from home I cant visit as frequently as I would like!

Not a very big selection - came here on my way home needing some ingredients for dinner. I wouldnt go back, but staff was friendly.

This grocer is always clean and sparkling. The produce is stocked well. Staff is friendly and quick at the check outs. If you are ever looking for a weird ingredient, a type of flour you cant find at fred meyer, or a fruit that is obscure, this is the place youll find it. Lots of gluten free choices. Lots in the vegan and vegetarian areas too. Costs are higher here though...only downside.

Wonderful stores the bigger the more they offer... been to three locations...My one critique of at least 2 stores the intense lighting is seizure provoking.... sorry just an FYI... great products great price 4 in 2 locations eeeck..... drop seizures are the worst.

I love this place. They have my favorite grass-fed yogurt for very cheap. I always find new favorites too, like gluten free pastas, or organic soaps. And always organic fresh veggies.

Nice concept, decent execution. I think its really cool that they dont sell disposable bags... paper or plastic. But they provide boxes if you dont want to buy a reusable bag. I went with the jute bag because it was the biggest and has a cool vibe to it. Prices comparable with Whole Foods, lots of local suppliers too. The all-natural beer section was an interesting bit. Tried a few sodas and ciders made locally. Went with the Sierra Nevada instead. Aisles are a bit crowded so use a basket instead of a cart if you can.

Great place to shop. My only gripe is they are always out of stock on their fruit and veggies, and Meats. Please fix this. I end up having to go to New Seasons for this thanks.

Ive stopped in here a few times. Theyre a nice health foods store, but their prices are definitely not competitive at all. Id been warned about this before my first visit, and definitely found it to be true.

I have enjoyed the low prices this store has to offer but it comes at a price. The price is a store with unfriendly, sparse staff. I frequently walk out with multiple items on my shopping list that were out of stock and I wasnt able to purchase. I assume it is due to poor staffing. I have given up asking about out of stock items. It is a shame this store cant get it together. I am considering changing my shopping routine and giving up on this store out of frustration.

I love this store. Not only does it say it stands for strictly organic food and products, it stands by that promise. You can walk in this store knowing that no matter what you buy, from the humble turnip to that natural deoderant youve always wanted to try, it will contain absolutely nothing in them that will harm your body. And their vitamin section has everything you can think of, even herbal tinctures that youve never heard of before and probably wont pronounce correctly the first time. All in all, I love this store and recommend it to anyone who is serious about wanting to be healthy inside and out.

I love this store. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have an extensive selection of supplements. Although the produce and meat selection is limited, Im able to buy a lot of hard-to-find packaged health foods at great prices. I love that all the gluten-free products are clearly labeled on the shelf. If you have any special dietary restrictions, this is the store for you. Lots of local products, as well. I appreciate that the store isnt overwhelmingly large and that it isnt overly crowded.

Great produce. Meat is pretty expensive, the majority of people working here are very nice and helpful. Awesome selection for supplements, small hard to find items and the bulk section is pretty sweet too. Also, huge healthy beverage selection, and prices destroy whole foods. Definitely a go to store for our small family.
