The folks at Herzog-Meier Mazda are fantastic people to work with. Herzog-Meier is currently the only dealership that I could find in the greater Portland area that isnt gouging prices due to the chip shortage.Denise and Thomas made the purchasing process painless. They were both responsive, informative, and honest. There were no surprises or gotchas when I showed up to finalize everything and sign paperwork. It was relieving to work with authentic people, and not feel like I was speaking to soulless robots. I found the vehicle that I wanted on their website, and drove off the lot with it 12 hours later.Ill definitely be coming back for any future Mazda purchases.

We picked up a used 2015 Mazda 3 over the weekend from Justin. It was a really good experience working with Justin. We actually discovered an issue with the touchscreen on the Infotainment system after we were home with the car, but Justin was able to bring us in with Service with Greg and had the issue resolved in under 30 minutes. I have to say having experienced sales and service in the 2 days, everyone there was very helpful and did a fantastic job taking care of me.

Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever had at any dealership. (And Ive had way to many trips to dealerships). I didn’t get immediately swarmed pulling into the lot like a pack of wolves. Which I absolutely hate.I told Hailey Burke my budget, and she immediately took me to a vehicle that was much better than I thought my budget could even get for me. I was going to be back first thing in the morning and ready to walk out the door with it no questions asked.She ran it through another courtesy inspection when I left and found something that would be a small issue for me, but I couldn’t afford any issues whatsoever at the time.She was aware of this and was completely transparent knowing it would cost a sale. Integrity over greed is not something you see at many dealerships so I would highly recommend Hailey and and everyone else at this dealership to anyone. Hell even the coffee was good.

My agent, Carmen, and her assistant Jay did a wonderful job working me through the process. She was respectful and not the least bit pushy. Was happy to let me test drive my Mazda 3 Turbo and come back later in the week without ringing my phone off the hook every morning to see if I decided yet. Jay was the one who helped me work through the documents and signatures, and made sure to explain the details of the warranty. While I was there, I experienced a diabetic low blood sugar, and he was so quick to get me a can of soda I couldnt believe it.

I thought I made an appointment, but I guess I didn’t schedule it properly. However Hailey was there to help me out and she was very informative and knowledgeable about the CX-5 and took me on a test drive. She showed me all the features and she blew my mind with all the new technology in these things. It’s freaking amazing! Mr. Manager, I think it is time for someone to get a raise! Don’t make me Karen out on you. Also, the financing guy was very helpful and pleasant. He was very detailed about all the papers I was signing and helped me out with the extended warranty. I went to a few other Mazda dealers and everyone seems to have been charging a 20%-25% extra on sticker price citing the current supply chain issue!!! I was appalled to say the least and lastly I went to Herzog-Meier and they had the fairest price and even though they didnt have the exact model I wanted - they found me my 2nd choice and I immediate went with that. I had a wonderful experience with with them. Thomas & Denise were the ones that helped me throughout the process and I was very very pleased with my experience. I had to wait almost 3weeks for the car that I wanted to arrive but it wasnt a fault of them at all and the current supply chain issue is to blame. I had an excellent experience purchasing my 2021 Mazda 6 Carbon Edition from Ramiz. He was incredibly easy to work with and answered all my questions about the car before my purchase. I could tell that he wanted nothing more than to make sure I left the dealership completely happy with my purchase, and treated me as such throughout our interaction. He even helped to make things right after he realized he had given me the wrong information about an earlier question I asked. There were no hard feelings there, as I could tell it was an honest mistake and he did his best to make sure I knew I was still in good hands. After the sale, Ramiz followed up directly with me multiple times to make sure I was contacted by others in the service department as promised and that I had everything I needed to get the most out of my new car. Our salesperson, Hailey Burke, went out of her way to find the information we needed in our recent used car purchase. Kudos also to Carlos Rodriguez who tag-teamed with her on their days off to secure this sale. They would each get 5 stars from us. However, prior to speaking with Hailey on the phone to get info on an new listing, I spoke with two other salespeople who did not get back to me, which was frustrating. 3 stars for the dealership. The good is that overall they are easy-going and low pressure. The bad was the initial contacts and the fact that the car we purchased was not available to be seen in person for an entire week (due to backlog in detailing) despite the car being listed on their website.

I had a great experience and I LOVE my new car! Carmen L. was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I first inquired about the car I was interested in online and she texted me very quickly that it was available. I said I wanted to come in and she asked when. I told her 15 minutes. By the time I got there, the car was pulled out and waiting for me to test drive! She was also just very friendly and sweet and even checked my trade in to make sure I hadnt left anything important (which of course I did! But she found it.)For financing, I worked with Enrique and he was also just great. He was quick, he was thorough, and very friendly.I would definitely recommend this dealership and after years of mainly Toyota vehicles, I now also recommend Mazda. It was a beautiful sunny Monday afternoon and the smell of a new car was what I was craving.I went into the dealership with a dream of having a Mazda 3 Select and Carmen helped me make that dream a reality. With a big mask covered smile Carmen lead the way to a snowflake white Mazda 3 Select and I fell in love, with the car. After going over all of the features that the Mazda 3 select had to offer Carmen asked if I wanted to go for a test drive and with a vision in mind, I took a leap of faith. I closed the door, buckled up and hit the push to start with excitement. I looked at Carmen and with a nod of approval I drove off of the lot. We went around the block and I almost took a wrong turn, but Carmen politely guided us in the right direction. We pulled into the Harzog-Meier Mazda parking lot and I knew it was destiny as soon as I parked and pushed the button. With an eager look on my face I looked at Carmen and told her I think I finally found the one. This beautiful Mazda 3 Select is what I needed in my life and it was time to make a deal. Carmen took me into the dealership and took care of me on the spot. I filled out all of the paperwork and we went over all the details piece by piece. Carmen explained everything with comprehensive detail and it was set in stone! I, Adrian, took the, Mazda 3 Select, as my personal car and the Mazda 3 Select took me as the lawful owner. At this point I couldn’t have been happier, but it was not over yet. Carmen introduced me to the business manager Brandie and we got down to business. Brandie and I went over some more paper work and as she explained all of the details thoroughly, Carmen arranged my car to be fully detailed while I was chatting with Brandie. After all the paperwork was signed the anxious, short wait was finally over, I met with my new petite and gorgeous new Mazda 3 Select. It was shimmering in the afternoon sunlight like a beautifully washed new snow flake white Mazda 3 Select and it definitely was exactly that. Carmen offered to show me how all of the amenities functioned with another mask covered smile and I gladly obliged! After a very meticulous demonstration Carmen asked if I had anymore questions to inquire of the Mazda 3 select to which I gleefully responded that I now fully understood all of the features of the vehicle. With a push of a push start button I left very satisfied in my new Mazda 3 select!

My husband and I bought a 2015 Nissan leaf from the Herzog-Meier Volkswagen dealership. Our salesman was Milo and he was very professional and helpful, he answered all of our questions and didnt push anything. At other dealerships I had the experience of the salesman defaulting to my husband or dad when they come in with me even though I am buying the car and have done research. I was worried about the same thing happening with this vehicle but Milo was AMAZING. He answered all our questions and directed all of his questions to both of us. We basically had picked out the car before we came in and he was very efficient. I would buy our next car from here and Ill be recommending them to my friends and sisters. Milo was the best!

My experience with this Mazda dealership was disappointing. From July 6th-August 31st participating dealerships were offering a free oil change, interior detailing, fluid check, and more for educators. Needless to say, I took advantage of this opportunity. However, the only thing that was done was my oil was changed and the exterior was “washed”. All other services that were listed on the promotion and on the receipt I got afterwards were presumably not completed given the state of the clearly visible things that were not done. Most evident was that the interior was not even touched and the only reason I trust the outside was washed is because my car windows had streaks and water stains. Otherwise, you would not be able to tell. I did not expect much, but for their promise to be delivered. However, an attempt was not even made to complete what I was told they would do. I am disappointed, but I also must say that I am extremely appreciative of the initiative put forward by Mazda to help out educators after was has been a more than challenging school year. Thank you for thinking of us!

The man I talked to on the phone was pleasant and accommodating. Unfortunately, things changed once we set foot in the door. He wanted us to sign the paperwork to buy a used car. The car was behind a gate that he “didn’t have access to.” So we couldn’t inspect it, we couldn’t test drive it, we couldn’t even walk around the whole car. But he still wanted us to sign the paperwork and write a check. And then apparently, he wanted us to come back after they had done the necessary “detailing” on the car, and then they would not put the check through if we didn’t like it. Who does business this way? Only shady car dealerships apparently. What was so wrong with the car that we couldn’t inspect it?

Lets face it, shopping for a new car is not high on anybodys list of fun things to do on a weekend but the folks at Herzog-Meier Mazda have gotten the process down to a science. Back in August I met with Spencer Potter while looking to replace my Mazda 3 with a CX-5. From the very beginning, he was nothing but professional, polite and easygoing. He was understanding that I was not looking to buy that day but made sure I had all the information I needed when the time was right for me to make a decision. Last Sunday I went in to see if we could make some numbers work on the CX-5 of my choosing and three hours later, I left in my new car.Ive bought a number of cars over the years but my experience with Spencer and all the staff at Herzog-Meier goes down as the best Ive ever had. The negotiations went easily, I was given a fair price for my trade-in and there was no pressure or stress. This is truly how buying a car should be so if youre tired of the games, you now know where to go.Also its not fair to finish this review without mentioning the fantastic members of the Mazda service staff, Greg and Dayton. When I had my 3, they made sure I was taken care of quickly and Im confident theyll continue to deliver when its time for the CX-5 to go in for maintenance or repair.

I appreciated that we were able to test drive cars without the salesman, and I am grateful they were very patient with our 2.5 year old joining us (car set transfers, bathroom breaks, snacks, etc.). All of this definitely created a more comfortable buying experience with less sales pressure. I just with the financing process was quicker, although I could tell they were doing their best to get us in and out. Also, our payoff for our trade-in was calculated incorrectly, even when we originally told them the right amount. It kind of sucks that we know have to owe a lump sum when it could have been financed. Still overall, one of the best car buying experiences that Ive had!

Fantastic experience here! Had been car shopping for 3 days straight and came here on a whim after work to look at an older model of the same car. Still loved the 2021 version and they were GREAT at making sure I got what a wanted. Stayed late to make sure everything was complete and didnt try to push me around like other places. I had a very nice experience at Beaverton Mazda Service & Parts. Dayton my rep for my services was professional and very helpful with my questions. I was able to get a loaner car and accidentally left my remote in it after dropping it off. Dayton retrieved it and waited as I drove back and ran over & bring me the remote.It’s the extra mile that customer service people do that makes a world of difference. Dayton is a keeper employee. I hope management is aware of what a gem of an employee they have.

Very easy check in. Chad handled checking in my car while another lady (I forgot her name) got my loaner situated. Very nice people. Clean environment! I will have to say… the 70 mph max speed on a loaner is unsafe. Sounds dumb I know, but try going around someone and looking stupid passing them up lol I am a service writer as well, so it was interesting to be the customer this time around.

For the past 19 years I have had my Mazda Protege 5 (purchased at Herzog-Meier new in 2002) serviced at Herzog-Meier. Dayton Wong has been my service advisor the past few years and because of his awesome service, I asked him to recommend a salesman (Justin Jeffers). This year I purchased a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring and just had my first service appointment on this car. We started the process the first day with Carmen, she was absolutely a pleasure to work with, courteous, friendly and explained the process and options. The next day we went, Carmen was out sick.We worked with Jillian who was also awesome; She was patient, courteous, very responsive throughout the whole process, ready when we got back from test drive. She did a clean handoff to Finance and then after we were done with Finance spent time with my daughter (her first car :-)) walking her through the safety features options, etc.Jake in Finance was awesome as well....very efficient with the paperwork, explaining the options and no pressure! This place is amazing! Greg was wonderful! My check engine light came on at the end of my break and I needed to get back to the beach. The dealership got me an appointment right away and even gave me a rental while they worked on my car. Greg was in charge of my service and communicated with me throughout the whole thing.
