We moved this week, and only day we had available was on a Sunday…All Star Movers scheduled us for Sunday, and the two young men were there bright and early at 0830…We had lot of stuff, but in particular a heavy tread mill which in new house was up stair. These two young men said “no problem” and made it happen. I don’t usually do reviews, but wanted to make sure all star movers know that have excellent personnel working for them. All Star Movers is the Best!! They went above and beyond to help my Mom move to Houston. They made the move very easy and did it all in one day. We were blessed when we chose All Star Movers to move my niece out of her third floor apartment after college. Jay was so patient and quick to respond to my calls. Jay sounds very nice on the phone but (BEWARE) he is not at all, He is from( Vidor )and treats his employees like slaves. He came to my house before the job was completed asking for the payment, I said do you always get paid before the service is finished, He claimed he wanted to give me a receipt.I have used this company before and no one came to get paid before the job was completed and he was paid in full, Please do not support this company, This man reminds me of somebody you would have did business with back in the 1960’s

All Ive gotta say is whoever I spoke on the phone with was very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. He straight up asked me if I was going to continue to waste his time because I had a question. Stay away from this company if you dont like being talked down to. Westar is better.

I would NEVER recommend them to anyone else!!!!!! Movers arrived late, took a bunch of breaks. They arrived at 850am when they were supposed to be there at 830…not a big deal…I have a picture of one of them just sitting in his truck on his phone just an hour after arriving. With not much in the truck…That was one of the breaks. I moved all my furniture to the front to make it easier on them and so that it wouldn’t take that long. They said they were going to take a lunch break (I gave them money for lunch after they packed the hous) …apparently it was an UNAUTHORIZED lunch break because the owner included that hour in with time that they were supposed to be moving my belonging. Got to the new house, they moved a small piece of furniture, took a 5-10 minute break…moved another small piece of furniture…another break. I called the owner to tell them to speed things. Not to get them in trouble, I just didn’t want to have to pay for all of their breaks. I asked the owner not to say I called, but just to tell them to put some pep in their step. The owner immediately told them. One of the movers walked in my house, got directly in my face and asked why I called on them. Got extremely confrontational with me in front of my children and spouse. The owner didn’t care…this move cost me $575 after being quoted $235 plus $99 per hour after that…I paid for them to take breaks..it wasn’t even the whole house, just the stuff I couldn’t move because I didn’t have a truck. Do NOOOOOT use them! Steer clear!!!!

Highly recommend Allstar Moving. They were on time, packed up our home and stored the contents overnight. The next day, they were on time and had everything unloaded in two hours. Very professional and friendly service.

I cannot say enough nice things about my experience with this company. First of all, Jay was positive and responsive to my calls, explaining the costs and discussing what I needed. When the crew showed up, they were friendly, professional and very efficient. My couch is oversized and my furniture is solid wood. These men made it look easy. And they hustled! Moved me from a 1 story house to a 3rd floor apartment in 3 hours without damaging anything. They remained upbeat from start to finish. Up 2 flights of stairs, chatting and laughing with no complaints. The rates were better than anyone else in the area. Hands down. Do yourself a favor and give Jay a call before you book someone else. You will not regret it.

I called WEEKS ago, spoke with Jay and booked him for moving service on 1/1/2021. Something told me to call him today just to ensure everything is still straight being that there’s been no correspondences since. I called him today, 12/29/2020, and he says “oh, we’re not working on the first.” It would have been nice if he would have told me this weeks ago when I originally called him or at least some sort of notice. The level of unprofessionalism, please do better business in the future.

Great service. Scheduling was easy. Weather wasn’t great, but they were flexible for us. The movers were patient and helped move some furniture around to test different spots.

Called for a quote because I’m shopping around for a moving company. When I called I got laughed at and told several times that my call “must be a joke” and “a prank” because I called 3 months before my moving date. I said I was just calling different places to get an idea of costs for my budget. Extremely unprofessional. Could have just told me that they don’t give quotes so far in advance right away instead of being sarcastic and rude. I Won’t be using them in the future.

Several items damaged during move also complained about how much they had to move they sent 3workers one worked very hard other 2 sat in vehicle a lot taking breaks not impressed at all would not recommend or use them again!

These guys are awesome! They showed up on time and were all smiles! We had them move antiques into newly painted offices and they were very careful not to scratch anything. Will definitely use them again!

Great service provided by the two guys that handled my move. They were professional and polite, both were also dedicated to providing the best service possible.

I have used Allstar Movers in the past and they were great, moved everything in a timely manner, however, they did not handle my furniture very carefully. my couches had black scuffs and they dragged the bottom of my linen couch across concrete. This last time I used them, they removed the drawers from my dresser, and now my underwear missing, I will no longer use them because of this. Single women, do not use them! If you do, be very vigilant, and have someone that you trust with you!

This place is garbage and Jay is a scamHe wouldnt meet me in person being the coward he is..He over charged up tremendously with no signed contract and once he had my mother in laws stuff it was all in his hands..500 for NOTHING...I can promise I will put hands on Jay if I see him....
